Yes, thanks, Andrew. Now if I could only figure out how to make the page fit without having to scroll horizontally to see the right side. I am using Firefox. Ideas, anyone?

PS I think I like the way you have organized it by thread better than it was in the old location. It’s more user friendly this way.

Testing out commenting: Because using Safari, the new “Recent Comments” addition was slowing down commenting. So checking out if that’s the same on Firefox. Oooo, in Firefox you can see all the cool color codes above the commenting box: Bold is red, ital is orange, link is yellow…. I didn’t see the colors using Safari.

Hmmmm, wonder if I can add an image that will show up in the comment with Firefox? Testing, testing….do you see the little Segway “Scooter”?

Nooo, no litte Segway “Scooter.” Rats. It’s still slow posting comments on Firefox, but not as slow as Safari.

I downloaded, but don’t know if firefox is working. Yes, I LOVE the way you did side bar, it is much better…

well, almost done reading todays comments here, so I am going outside and enjoy the most beautiful weather day here in Michigan in a very long time… Taters, love my Tigers and Red Wings, son going to game today… I won’t be able to get out on the lake to get some perch tonight, but I sure am not going to complain.

The “Reply to this comment” feature just isn’t working for me. It makes it too difficult to follow the comments, and it is too easy to miss comments because new ones get scattered amongst the old ones.

Anyone else feel the same way>

taters, what can we do locally here in Mi to get Larry, et al come to speak here in MI and get some of this out… I think radio, TV, but something more than that… like when Jim was running, and Joe Wilson came here. Sort of some way to help keep the pressure on this whole cabal, from the top to the lowest minion at the bottom…

Please, being PrchrLady that I am, I would ask everyone to take a few moments sometime today or tonight, and spend it alone with yourself and the spirit within you, that helps and shapes your life. Each of us needs to look within and we will be stronger for it. Being Sunday tomorrow, sometimes my friends forgive me when I get up on a pulpit… but seriously, I want to think about the way or ways that we can DO something that will help bring those that have been so fooled by these neocons, for so many different variety of ways, to bring them back into the fold… so to speak…

no one can deny that the tide is turning here in this Nation, a silent majority is becoming more and more vocal… we need this to overcome the cabal that has taken control while so many slept. Now that they are awakening, we must find ways to bring ourselves together, set aside petty differences, and resolve to fight them toegether… I don’t know how to do it, so many are smarter and wiser than I, but I do believe that if we continue to speak truth to power, the truth will set us free…

Lastly, thanks for link to Col Lang’s site and post. He is truly one of my heroes as well… and Fitz would make an Excellent Attorney General… if Congress were to Impeach Gonzales, could they at the same time appoint someone as acting AG, for this thing??? Empty wheel has some excellent observations on Edelman’s role and relationship… two separate posts, but will only link one. I found her theories pretty interesting, and got a bigger picture of how this goes into Attorneygate as well… here are links:

Thanks PH. You’re too kind my friend. Nah, I haven’t seen anything you’ve posted that was out of line. The good Lord gave us enough sense not to bring a knife to a gunfight - and sometimes you gotta fight fire with fire. There’s far too much at stake not to.

I never took just a knife to a gun fight..altho I had one of those handy too..

I always took an Extra Gun or Two ..and usually made sure I had some backup..

Leslie - There is a new OSX update, 10.4.10 out and a new Beta update for Safari. I have both and all the excellent little colors show up and no speed problems or other bugs commenting or otherwise. Looks like the image link is active too.

I have the updated Mac 10.4.10, but not the Beta Safari update yet. Darn, the image link is active in Beta Safari? It’s not working in Firefox. Will see if I can get the updated Safari. Thanks for the tip.

Noooo air car! Safari 3 is an image bust! Oh well.

If anyone is interested, this is totally OT, but here’s the new air car from a French company. It runs on compressed air, and the only exhaust is cool air. An Indian company, Tata [India's equivalent of Ford], will be producing it soon.

I didn’t test the image link by trying to link an image, but pressed it and it produced little symbols and whatnot that sure looked like it was active……

good one, leslie, I gave up my car to my son, and don’tmiss the high gas prices at all, have been looking at alterntive electric vehicles to replace somewhere down the line… You might like this one here, and it is in production right now…
