Susan,

You continue to disgrace yourself. Obama was not in the church on July 22.

Even Bill Kristol had to apologize for reporting that nonsense. LOL!

Inkslayer, there's nothing I need to correct on my blog. I've used Lexis Nexis to search the Chicago Sun-Times, as well as AP's Midwest Newswire, between the dates of July 21 and July 24, and I was unable to find one single campaign event for Obama in Chicago on July 22. I did find out that he was in Des Monies on July 21, that given that the CNN/Youtube debate was in Chicago on July 23, he had good reason to get back to the city. But you're trying to tell me that Obama, who in all likelihood started his day on July 22 in Iowa, made an afternoon speech in Miami, then just left hastily, fighting Miami's traffic, jetted back to Chicago, landed, fought Chicago's traffic, all to make it to the South Side and attend church at 6:00pm?

As noted in this comment thread, Obama's NCLR speech was at 1:50, but since Obama would gain an hour hopping a time zone back to Chicago, let's say his speech was at 12:50. How long did it last.. 30 minutes? An hour? Let's say, with schmoozing time included, Obama spent an hour at NCLR. Now it's 1:50. He would have to fight Miami's traffic to make it back to his jet, then the jet has to be cleared for takeoff; I'll give you the time benefit here and say that would all take an hour even though we both know it would take longer. Regardless, now it's 2:50 and Obama is in the air. It's going to take him 3 hours to get back to Chicago, land, and exit the airport -- By that time, it's 5:50pm, Central time. And he still has to fight traffic.

Face the facts, people -- it was impossible for Obama to have gone to Pastor Wright's church on July 22. Impossible.

why is everyone so intent upon smearing Obama for his pastor’s words? This smacks of McCarthyism.

Obama sat in a church, listening to his pastor, i(in whom some put absolute faith), denigrate Americans, America, women, and white people.

Is this Obama's philosophy, too? Should we disregard Obama's relationship to Wright, because "he's not really like that..." Is Obama a black supremacist, an America hater, the black equivalent to Timothy McVeigh? (He hated America, too). Is this common sense to encourage hate? Obama lies, flat out, and not very well.

You're in denial if you don't understand the import of such an action, you'd be like Donna Brazile, a fool.

Wright and Louis Farrakhan met with col Gaddafi, who later went on to blow up a jet liner over Lockerbie, Scotland.

This is very serious, not boys having fun.

It is. It is too close to the Arkansas Project's "Are you now or have you ever been downwind of Bill Clinton?"

You want this shit now, or during the run against McCain?

The same place Obama's Ill senate records, Obama/REzko's manison settlement papers, Obama passport records showing his extensive European travels, and his schedule showing he was not "in the pews" during Rev. Wright's Rants (say that 3x fast).

You show me yours; I'll show you mine.

"Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?" Substitute Wright's congregation and you get the idea.

The whole point of attending is to schmooze after the service. Therefore attending the 11AM and leaving early is unlikely. The 6AM would be less well attended so not a good investment of limited time. The 6PM would be [would have been] the one to consider.

Kristol now says "I regret the error" about Obama

As reported earlier today, Bill Kristol made what Marc Ambinder a "major, prejudicial error" about Obama in his NY Times column today. Kristol has acknowleged -- and regrets -- the error. Kristol should regret the error. Kristol should never have made the error in the first place:

In this column, I cite a report that Sen. Obama had attended services at Trinity Church on July 22, 2007. The Obama camapaign has provided information showing that Senator Obama did not attend Trinity that day. I regret the error.

Has Kristol learned that the right wing site, NewsMax, might not be a reliable source? Has the NY Times learned that Kristol isn't reliable?
