Have you made a series of donations to a candidate?
I have. It's an individual making payments, and it's not bundling. But they still ask your profession/occupation and it is counted in that category.

I guess, whoever took the info from the open secrets site, did not read the explanation.

Individual contributions are generally categorized based on the donor's occupation/employer, although individuals may be classified instead as ideological donors if they've given more than $200 to an ideological PAC.</blockquote>

So if someone gives over $200.00 and is a Bank Teller, it is counted under the Banking industry.

There is a difference in working for a bank and donating, or having the Banking industry donate.

You quoted that Obama received:
"He also actually did take money from lobbyists as well. $114,713 worth. "

This could well be from individuals, since the amount is relatively small, in fact, less than Fred Thompson received, who was in the race for a wink.

Lobbyists
Hillary Clinton (D)
$880,790

John McCain (R)
$584,652

Rudolph W. Giuliani (R)
$299,125

Mitt Romney (R)
$298,975

Christopher J. Dodd (D)
$250,350

Bill Richardson (D)
$195,950

Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D)
$123,660

Fred Thompson (R)
$117,450

Barack Obama (D)
$114,713

And another issue on this is Cheney's Bill for tax cuts for Oil & Gas $6 Billion and Nuclear $12 Billion which Obama voted FOR and is now attacking on the campaign trail visa vie lies!

http://www.hillaryclinton.com/news/release/view/?id=6873

Isn't that a tad different then voting for the Iraq war as Clinton did, while stating it is a show of power and not for a presumptive war?

War not good, but intentions to vote on a Bill to allow Inspectors to do their job, good one, but was bamboozled by Bush!

Giving $18 Billion to Oil, gas and Nuclear industries while prices still climb and their profits increase in record numbers while people freeze in their homes, especially the elderly on fixed incomes, not good at all! Having a major bundler Rowe, Chair of Exelon funding and allowing people to freeze who can't afford the higher cost of oil and gas, or electricity, sound like the same pattern as taking from Rezko while slum tennants freeze!

The dots are incredible when you connect them!

Consider why Obama doesn't seem to react to badly over things like Wright, NAFTA and such, you have to wonder why that is, obviously hiding bigger damages out there!

I suggest your "colleague" run on over to Daily Kos or Talking Points Memo.

I'm certain her "talents" would be better used over there.

Due respect.

Obama was a politician with no bagman, well now he has a major money bag in Exelor and General Electric which owns GE Financial, who also funds major Wall Street capital companies!

I thought the Congressional hearing were just kabuki theatre, until I saw the oil company guys on TV.

And now I understand EXACTLY why this country's policies have failed.

Has there ever been a group of dumber men in business?

Ever?

I would say not.

Wall Street is the weak link in the chain.

I was stunned.
