Get Me More White People!

Written by: Uppity Woman

Liberal Rapture covered this and I just have to do the same. I cannot pass up this opportunity. There is no end to the humor in the Barack Obama campaign is there???? I mean, there is so much material on these jerks I can’t even keep up!

I’m Laughing so hard I am practically in tears here! Wait, let me get ahold of myself……

Ok, thanks.

Here, at Gateway Pundit, we have a gathering of Obamazoids with Michelle Obama preparing to speak. The hype for this event was just so….hopeful:

Michelle Obama
Giving Hope a Comeback
Carnegie Mellon University April 2, 2008

So just as Teresa Heintz Kerry, the woman who supports the lifestyle of the man whole sold the Democrats down the river four years ago, was about to introduce the woman who took more than 40 years to be “proud of America,” suddenly……. gasp!… suddenly…….somebody noticed something:

While the crowd was indeed diverse, some students at the event questioned the practices of Mrs. Obama’s event coordinators, who handpicked the crowd sitting behind Mrs. Obama. The Tartan’s correspondents observed one event coordinator say to another, “Get me more white people, we need more white people.

To an Asian girl sitting in the back row, one coordinator said, “We’re moving you, sorry. It’s going to look so pretty, though.”

“I didn’t know they would say, ‘We need a white person here,’ ” said attendee and senior psychology major Shayna Watson, who sat in the crowd behind Mrs. Obama.

I understood they would want a show of diversity, but to pick up people and to reseat them, I didn’t know it would be so outright.”

There IS good news though!

In spite of the fact that the Obama Campaign has now managed to piss-off Italians and Asians, here is a shot of Michelle “I am finally proud” Obama with *Kerry’s Financial Provider and several very well-placed white people in the background.

Michelle

Good Save, folks! Uppity is just so darned proud! I can’t help but wonder if you also served macaroni and cheese and meatloaf at the event.

*Mrs. Kerry “remarked that she has become friends with Mrs. Obama, mainly from exchanging messages on their Blackberries”.

Kerry’s wife looks completly satiated after that long hit of OFFICIAL U.S. GOVT. ISSUE CRACK. I’m not judgin’…I’m just sayin….

Can you imagine this photo being used by the Repugs come November? They hated and mocked Ms. Kerry so much - now the two of them are linked (literally) for all history to see.

Comment by ChrisXP | 2008-04-12 13:48:44

That’s a camera shot made in Rove heaven.

What saddens me the most in this campaign is that Obamatics are even giving the GOP ammo to shoot ALL Dems down.

When will the Far-Left understand anything “flaming” will go down flaming in the GE? We need MAINSTREAM candidates. Repeat. MAINSTREAM candidates. Candidates grandma would vote for, and the world will respect.

Was Teresa wearing gloves or has she just not spent much time in the sun lately? OMG she makes flour look dark.

Check out Obama’s “speech” last night in Terra Haute, Indiana where he tries to sweet talk his way out of latest gaffe, where he insulted mostly white, rural Americans by saying that they clung to Guns and God becasue they were bitter.
You can tell that Obama’s handlers were all saying “give me more typical white people”.

Comment by Shainzona | 2008-04-12 12:26:40

Why do Obamaphiles let Barry off with a “what I really meant to say” but when HRC tells a true story they continue to tear it apart even when it’s proven to be true because “it’s important to look for the lies”?

Oh, silly me. I know the answer to that question…it’s called Kool-Aid (you know the kind Teresea Kerry looks like she’s been gulping down in giant mugs!).

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-04-12 12:41:41

Ehemmmm…..The rank and file drink the Koolaid…..Those with money and influence get …..OFFICIAL U.S. GOVT. ISSUE CRACK delivered by the CIA to the doorstep…..Ask the Good Pastor(s)….Can’t look that happy off Koolaid. LOL.

Hella’ of shovel Rove gave to Axelrod. Keep digging Barry. What a hole.

Hillary should make his remarks into a PA TV spot.

There are similarities for them regarding the experiences they have had on the trail.

I had NEVER heard Mrs Kerry denigrate America.
Her experience under apartthied is relevent to the comings and goings of BO.

What is BO going to do with all that Ketchup?

Comment by JoeySky | 2008-04-12 12:20:44

You see, there are many way to create racial unity. “Get me more white people” seems to be the fastest way to create racial harmony for Mr. Hopium. What do they call it? Oh! yes. “Window Dressing”.

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-04-12 12:45:13

does this equate to “Political profiling” ? OR AM I JUST EXPERIENCING A SUDDEN CASE OF (HOPE)PHOBIA ?

Comment by Tricia | 2008-04-12 12:26:37

Ha! Too funny.

I have been to many rallies, and I wonder how it feels to be asked to go away because you are the “wrong look,” especially when you got a very good seat. How superifical are we becoming?

BTW, I rather liked Teresa Kerry. Michelle Obama, not so much….

Comment by Shainzona | 2008-04-12 12:30:00

I actually thought Mrs. Kerry would have made a better POTUS than old John-Boy.

Anyone notice that he’s had a face-lift to get rid of the Deputy Dog look? (Oh, didn’t work!)

I bet he goes into the fetal position again and calls somebody a racist.

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-04-12 13:07:59

How true…..Of course it’s only racist if uttered by a typical (bitter) white (working-class) person. Have they tied up Granny again or is she still showing up at photo-ops ? OBAMESSIAH PRESISDENCY = Facism….McCAIN PRESIDENCY = Fascism quicker..

Comment by jwrjr | 2008-04-12 13:19:34

That seems to be the definition. Vote for Obama = not bitter. Vote for anybody else = bitter.

If you recognize a crock of crap when you see it, you are a bitter racist person.

BO

“Senator Clinton voted for a credit card-sponsored bankruptcy bill that made it harder for people to get out of debt after taking money from the financial services companies”

HUH? And what did BO do?

Didn’t I read somewhere that,

In this recent bankruptcy bill Obama voted against an amendment that would have capped credit card interest rates at 30%.

According to a recent Harvard study, around half of all personal bankruptcies are the result of illness or medical bills.

Comment by seeker | 2008-04-13 16:17:11

Clinton did NOT vote for it. I just checked Thomas, and she was not present for the final vote. I believe that was the day Bill had his first heart surgery.

I could not determine if there was an earlier cloture vote or how shje voted if there was.

I like Teresa Heinz Kerry. I bet she was finagled into that pose. She didn’t look all that excited. Left on her own, I doubt she would be showing support for Obama. She may have money, but she’s not a fool.

Comment by The Toothless in PA | 2008-04-12 13:15:52

Obama is going to need a shit load of more white people to win PA after those remarks.
Too bad that most of these toothless, white folk out in Appalachia that he despises were not voting for him anyway, but now after his comment they might put their rifles down, put the good book away, take a break from spying on the immigrant-looking people across the street and go to the polls on 4/22 with a vengeance. I suuure, hope them folks do!!

Comment by it'snotme | 2008-04-12 13:33:32

I just read on another blog that Obama doesn’t need ANY white voters. He’s going to win the Primaries and GE without white people. That was such an interesting post. I wonder what his plan is? Are AAs now a Majority in every state? Who knew?

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-12 13:39:56

Well that would work out as long as no republicans vote in November. Maybe they have plans to gas them all first.

Comment by The Toothless in PA | 2008-04-12 22:16:28

Yes, Obama will win the Presidency without white people-that will be the presidency of Kenya.

You guys hear the latest speech out of Obama?? Finally, the unity pony has gotten on the straight-talk express!! I may even consider supporting him now…

I go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, no matter how much I spend or puff or lie, or how sexy I look, I can’t get those damn rubes and rednecks who are ruining the democratic party to vote for me. So it’s not surprising then that I get bitter, and I cling to my affluent Harvard-educated elitist condescending views of these voters as gun-toting boors or religious fanatics or racist bigots as a way to explain my frustrations about not getting those votes away from that stubborn bitch

CNN and MSNBC —- BREAKING NEWS ALERT

On Monday, at 10am, Barack Obama will deliver another unprecedented historic speech on the social and political complexity of rural America. According to David Axelrod, Obama has agreed to do this after the fallout from his remarks in San Francisco that were misconstrued and taken out of context by millions of poorly educated blue collar voters throughout America who support Hillary Clinton.

Similar to his “Gettysburg Address” on race, where Obama carefully construed the topic to make it America’s problem and not a problem about his pastor, Obama is not expected to explain his remarks; rather, he will reframe his words in such a way that white middle class America will be overwhelmed by guilt for ever having challenged a multi-racial candidate. They will realize that their ignorance has blinded them from seeing rural America as it SHOULD BE SEEN by East Coast liberal academics.

The speech is designed to reveal the racist impulse behind the angry reaction of God-fearing, gun-carrying, lunch-bucket voters. Many are still not comfortable being corrected by a brilliant African-American.

On hand to control spin, applaud, and blame this entirely on the Clinton family will be Wolf Blitzer, J Cafferty, Chris Matthews and Maureen Dowd.

Hillary fires back and characterizes Obama’s recent remarks as “elitist” and “out of touch.”

http://www.hillaryclinton.com/news/release/view/?id=7047

PRESS RELEASE

4/12/2008
Hillary Clinton Responds to Senator Obama’s Recent Characterizations of Pennsylvanians

Hillary Clinton delivered the following remarks at a campaign event in Indianapolis, Indiana:

For video, click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeV2KzGGC38

“I grew up in the Midwest. Born in Chicago, raised outside of that great city. I was raised with Midwestern values and an unshakeable faith in America and its promise.

“Now, like some of you may have been, I was taken aback by the demeaning remarks Senator Obama made about people in small town America. Senator Obama’s remarks are elitist and they are out of touch. They are not reflective of the values and beliefs of Americans. Certainly not the Americans that I know - not the Americans I grew up with, not the Americans I lived with in Arkansas or represent in New York.

“You know, Americans who believe in the Second Amendment believe it’s a matter of Constitutional rights. Americans who believe in God believe it is a matter of personal faith. Americans who believe in protecting good American jobs believe it is a matter of the American Dream.

“When my dad grew up it was in a working class family in Scranton. I grew up in a church-going family, a family that believed in the importance of living out and expressing our faith.

“The people of faith I know don’t “cling to” religion because they’re bitter. People embrace faith not because they are materially poor, but because they are spiritually rich. Our faith is the faith of our parents and our grandparents. It is a fundamental expression of who we are and what we believe.

“I also disagree with Senator Obama’s assertion that people in this country “cling to guns” and have certain attitudes about immigration or trade simply out of frustration. People of all walks of life hunt - and they enjoy doing so because it’s an important part of their life, not because they are bitter.

“And as I’ve traveled across Indiana and I¹ve talked to a lot of people, what I hear are real concerns about unfair trade practices that cost people jobs.

“I think hardworking Americans are right to want to see changes in our trade laws. That’s what I have said. That¹s what I have fought for.

“I would also point out that the vast majority of working Americans reject anti-immigration rhetoric. They want reform so that we remain a nation of immigrants, but also a nation of laws that we enforce and we enforce fairly.

“Americans are fair-minded and good-hearted people. We have ups and downs. We face challenges and problems. But our views are rooted in real values, and they should be respected.

“Americans out across our country have borne the brunt of the Bush administration¹s assault on the middle class. Contrary to what Senator Obama says, most Americans did much better during the Clinton years than they have done during the Bush years.

“If we are striving to bring people together - and I believe we should be - I don’t think it helps to divide our country into one America that is enlightened and one that is not.

“We know there is an unacceptable economic divide in America today, but that is certainly not the way to bridge it. The way to do that is to roll up our sleeves and get to work and make sure we provide, once again, economic opportunity and shared prosperity for all Americans.

“People don’t need a president who looks down on them; they need a president who stands up for them. And that is exactly what I will do as your president.

“Because I believe if you want to be the president of all Americans, you need to respect all Americans. And that starts with respecting our hard working Americans, and what we need to do here is to take a lesson from Allison transmission.”

I don’t get it. With all of the buddies Obama has in Hollywood, he and Michelle should be able get plenty of white “extras” on whatever “location” they’re speaking at. There are services that can do this stuff for him, he doesn’t have to worry about actual supporters showing up. And considering some of the remarks that he has been making lately, he may have to avail himself of those services.

Comment by lifelong dem leaving party | 2008-04-13 02:40:59

so true. i’m sure maria shriver can ask her husband where to find the extras. of course, they have to look appropriately bitter.

i’m picturing 2012 when michelle will have to do what teresa now has to do. teresa has to stand there as the wife of the losing candidate in 2004 and pretend to support the wife of the next losing candidate in 2008. i will laugh at michelle, joyously, when she is in that position in 2012.

she will be the bitter one. i wonder if she will turn to guns, or religion. she’s already got the antipathy thing down pat.

of course, all of this could be avoided by having bill be the first husband - no losing dem candidate in 2008.

Michelle was in Evansville In. this morning. She did not have as many people there as the Clinton does. She made a point of letting everyone know that she will not do questions and answers. Now, why would she think anyone would want to see her especially if you cant ask questions..Maybe the Obama camp is scared of her telling her true feelings about America again.
