Obama Supporters Burn Tavis Smiley at the Stake

tavis

I’ve been out of town visiting my family for the past several days, and it’s for the best that I haven’t had the energy to blog, because I needed to let the news about Tavis Smiley resigning from the Tom Joyner Morning Show truly soak in and marinate before I came here to vent. There is a lot of speculation about why he is leaving the show, but he says in a statement released on Friday:

“Contrary to what has been suggested, I have decided to clear some things off my plate so that I can devote my time and attention to some exciting and empowering projects.”

I don’t know if this statement is true to word, but if I were him, I would have resigned because I was sick and tired of the death threats, tired of the completely unfounded insults and just damn tired of trying to make a people see some of the most basic necessities of survival. Examine your surroundings and assess the situation… Other groups are doing it. Do you think any number of organizations that have endorsed Obama have done so without at least attempting to make sure he has their interests at heart? Do you think they haven’t requested, in many cases, and received some sort of idea as to how he feels about their issue or cause?

But, the majority of African-American Obama supporters are in a sick fog of emotions that convinces them that it is okay for him to ignore our issues while campaigning–because after all, we’ll all be going down the Soul Train Line and doing the Soulja Boy and the Electric Slide at the Inaugural Ball after he wins and it will all have been worth it in the end…….silly, silly fools.

Tavis never once said a negative word about Obama. Not once. He merely cautioned Black America to truly examine him along with the other candidates and not simply hand him our votes just because he is Black. I believe that’s only common sense, considering the fact that most African-Americans don’t even know who Obama is [hell, who does???]! They only see his skin tone and that’s more than enough for them. If Colin Powell had run, even though he’d more than likely have run as a Republican, at least we know who he is. Same for that kook Alan Keyes. We know who those guys are. But Obama, this flash in the pan, does not deserve unquestioned support. The mere idea is unconscionable to me.

Even in the comment section of the previous post here, some idiot calls this little water cooler in the blogosphere the Uncle Tom Network. Probably hasn’t read a single post outside of the NO-bama posts, but feels comfortable enough to call this the Uncle Tom Network. The ignorance is palpable. In a Washington Post article Saturday, Roland Martin, that fat stooge, says this about Tavis Smiley’s resignation:

“You have to expect to get heat the moment you decide to offer critical comments about politics or social issues,” Martin said. “You have to be tough enough to take it.”

Added Martin: “For a long time, Tavis was used to people applauding him for taking tough stances. . . . This was the first time he had taken a position that flat-out ticked off his core audience. But [criticism] comes with the territory.”

It’s one thing to “criticize” with concrete examples of why you believe a person is wrong in their view. It’s quite another to simply say that someone is “hating” or to call them an “Uncle Tom”. Oh, that’s right. They couldn’t exactly say, “Look at all of the work Obama’s done as Chairman of that Senate Foreign Relations Sub-Committee,” because he hasn’t done a damn thing. They also couldn’t say, “Look at how well he organized those neighborhoods and looked out for minorities in Chicago,” because we should all know by now that he and his pal Rezko sold those folks up the river and let a number of his “constituents” freeze their asses off in the dead of winter due to political expediency. Those were Black asses freezing might I add.

Tavis, keep your head up. I can only imagine what you have been going through, seeing as how you’ve been trying to slap some sense into millions of folks on a weekly basis. I’m sure you will come out on the other side of this even stronger than you are now. Tom [Joyner], you are as much to blame for this as your listening audience. You guys sat in that booth and had some great laughs at Tavis’s expense over the past few months when if anybody, Tom, you should have been the voice of reason. There will be a high price to pay when this is all said and done. A very high one. So, let me go ahead and issue a collective, “kiss my ass” to all of you Obama supporters who will wake up soon with one helluva hangover, wishing you hadn’t drank that kool-aid…..regretting how you’ve wronged so many.

1. A presumption about all African American Obama supporters…

2. Followed by a twisting pike into a generalized, stereotypically mis-characterization.

You ought to haul your butt over to her blog every day and read the crap she takes for being an African American for Hillary. You might not be so smug. In fact you might be embarrassed, if that is at all possible.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-15 21:46:25

Go read the post about the AA cop who harrassed her and scared the crap out of her on the road at night. The thing that made her decide she has to take that Hillary sticker off her car.

Trash. Obama people are thugs.

Thanks, Uppity. And Sugar, I’m so sorry that happened to you. The WSJ had an article not long ago about women who’ve come under attack for supporting Hillary and one woman was berated by a man in a parking lot (he rolled down his window to yell at her when he saw her sticker). IIRC, he was all like “vote for that thing all you want but it won’t be president.” Yeah, thing.

I think MSNBC and other news outlets have really made it open season on women and Hillary supporters with their outrageous misogyny. They’ve made it “ok” for people to behave this way. I feel like they’ve opened something up that’s been hidden for a long time and all women need to be a little more careful than usual. I’m not sure we need to hide our support but we need to keep our eyes open. You did the right thing by getting on the phone!

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-16 06:41:30

Yeah you mean like women are more disposed to violence for supporting a woman. Talk about a bunch of pigs setting back America four or five decades. Oh yeah, I’m gonna vote for Barack Obama when pigs like him fly.

Sugar what a good post…..McCarthyism is not acceptable anytime or anywhere. When people are threatened, insulted and intimidated because they express an opinion that is unpopular it is the duty of democracy to protect those individuals from the scornful actions of the majority. It is sad hat the only way that Candidate Obama has sought to win at all costs, in this despicable way. But then again with his thin record how else could he and his campaign expect to. The democratic party is the big loser in this one. I admire Mr. Smiley very much, I started to listen to his radio show on NPR and still try to catch his TV interview show on PBS. I did’nt always agree with him,but I liked his style and although relatively youn was becoming a very good interviewer. I look forward to his shows and he will rise above this temporary situation because he is bright and a man of class.Makes you kind wish he was in politics. Thanks for the post.

Ha! Cee Hussein, let me head to AT&T Wireless to see if this list calls to 911 as “Emergency” in the same way they show up on my phone. I have no reason to lie about this sweets. I was on the phone with 911 for exactly 4 minutes and 46 seconds starting at 10:10pm according to the MyCallLog on my Palm Treo 680. Thank GAWD I downloaded that free software to my phone or I wouldn’t be able to know how long the call lasted.

Now, let me go see if I can get a screenshot of my calls at AT&T. I’m sure you wish that this was a lie about your Obamazoid friends, but it’s not. Also, I’m not sure if 911 calls are public record, but if you want to confirm this so badly, why don’t you call up the South Carolina Law Enforcement office or whatever it’s called and ask them so that you can hear my 4 minute and 46 seconds of terror. Including when I let that Obamazoid have it!

Comment by Sugar | 2008-04-16 11:08:04

Alright, checked my AT&T online and nothing…thought at first, “Oh shit, the fix is in!” but I don’t think it’s that deep, so I called AT&T and tech support told me (after I made the customer service rep forward me to them when she told me I’d have to wait to see if it shows up on my bill) that 911 calls won’t show up on my bill with them because the calls are free and can be made even if I didn’t have a SIM card in my phone. He says I’d have to have an attorney subpoena the information from them…I’m not even going to those lengths to prove anything to somebody calling themself “Cee Hussein”. I can tell you this, I didn’t even know where I was, but the 911 operator asked me my location and I told her too that I didn’t know, but I was passing either mile marker or exit 140 or 141. I was heading South on I-95. I can take a picture of the call from MyCallLog on my phone tonight and post it for further proof, and if I do that, rest assured, there will be a lot of curse words included in the post. It will most definitely be rated NC-17 because I was the one who was harrassed on some dark stretch of 95 South by a damn fool.

A presumption about all African American Obama supporters…

Correction: A majority is not all.

Please don’t put words in other people’s mouth, when they never said what you’re implying.

Even I knew that Obama was getting a block vote, even though he has zero roots in the South, but my entire street — that never votes — all of a sudden came early to vote for Obama. Naw, don’t tell me they voted for him solely as he was the “best candidate”, they voted for him soley because he proclaims to be Black.

I say proclaims, because if he was Asian and did what he said he did (like denying his white heritage to be more black), I wouldn’t proclaim him Asian.

Skin color doesn’t make a person ethnic. It’s the shared experience, and not changing it like underwear for some gain.

BTW, I’m multiracial, too. But unlike Obama, I’m damn proud of being both Japanese and Swedish. Wouldn’t trade either to fit into one group — nor could I even dare to describe my parental grandmother in the terms he did, either (what a cold bastard).

Either you’re proud of who you really are, or you’re a fake.

Comment by Mel | 2008-04-15 22:00:33

Kevin, you really enjoy twisting things around for the sake of confrontation don’t you?

This time, you are using a logically defective response for the sake of confrontation, as you neglect the simple fact that cult in any form has masses who blindly follow an illogical form of reasoning and the numbers of attractions in this case warrant this to be true!

It is a simple addition of facts, facts which are overwhelming in this case and in the case that Obama and his blind supporters work in irrational ways to achieve an end result!

When Obama preaches to unite and to run a higher level campaign and one which is above politics of old and yet he himself doesn’t follow his own preachings and has not once chastized his supporters even over the net of whom he has built so he claims his foundation of support!

Therefore, it is safe to say that Obama condones everything because if he hadn’t, he wouldn’t of allowed the the respectable Seantor from Atlanta to change his support from Hillary, but the threats which occurred and the attacking going on produced a view of the lengths Obama sanctions to allow his campaign to go to in order to win!

His record of actions in order to win are all there, this is no acception and deceit is his formitable game, unfortunately he has been caught and to his demise even if he wins in nomination, he will be destroyed in the GE. He is an amature political hack from Chicago opening the eyes to deceitful politics in the national forum and sorry to say, the distruction he has allowed to roll out for his self gain, and it is self gain only here as it has always been for Obama, the GOP will use it to destroy the Democtratic Party in such a way that years will be needed to revive from it!

So good people fall for the selfishness of a single man feeling everyone owes him because of his proclaimed to be hard life, when it wasn’t a hard one at all, it was one he chose every step and association he made along the way!

So to group together a segment as you claim is false to do, is simply a lousy attempt to cause more confrontation in an already bountiful situation before everyone right now and does nothing but infuriate people for not reason than selfish pleasure, which is childish, and best be left out of this forum and every forum as Obama has caused more than enough damage to America throughout the world right, from Wright to bigot statments of Americans to sexist remarks he feels is funny!

Kevin:

Please come back when you find the equivalent to Sugar’s experience, Tavis’, or this:

AKRON, Ohio — A man attacked Hillary Clinton campaign supporters on Market Street near a campaign headquarters Monday evening.

Police said William R. Bonner, 26, took the campaign sign from supporters and tried to hit people with them.

Officials said Bonner punched one of the supporters in the back of the head and took a sign away from another supporter.

When Bonner was arrested he began kicking the window in the police cruiser. Police said they used pepper spray.

Police determined he had a felony warrant on file in Youngstown.

Bonner was charged with assault, disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon. He was transported to the Summit County Jail.

One of the volunteers was punched in the back of the head and another had his thumb dislocated.

Both were back on the same corner on Tuesday to continue their campaigning for Clinton.

Senator Obama has a really BAD group of people in his corner.

I just saw a clip on MSNBC of Michelle Obama asserting she and Barack ARE NOT elite because she was raised in south side Chicago. Sure, she went on, she went to Columbia and Harvard BUT (she gets her angry face on) there have “been no miracles in my life”. Excuse me, I was raised poor and white and had to fight my way into the 3rd tier schools. It took me 18 years to pay off the debts and I NEVER questioned the importance of affairmative action. Now I’m feeling like a monkey. What were their grade point averages to get into those great schools? Maybe it was a little bit of a miracle or maybe it was a gift? Sorry, I can’t choke out a “you’re welcome” for poor Michelle.

Comment by DisenfranchisedVoter | 2008-04-15 22:14:42

This is my problem with the Obamas. Obama and I come from a similar background. I am of mixed race, I’ve had the priviledge of attending the best universities in the country, and my black father walked out on my mother the day I was born and never spent a dime or lifted a leg to get me to where I am today. I attribute all of my success to my mother who is not black. The difference between me and the Obamas is that I actually APPRECIATE my non-black mother as well as affirmative action programs and progressives of ALL races who helped me win scholarships and an acceptance into top public universities and an ivy league school. I have no resentment or anger towards white or black people. I do not resent my mother for having me and I am not ashamed of being bi-racial. I am not going through an identity crisis nor do I feel it is necessary to go on a journey to track down my deadbeat father. Damn Barack, go see a f-ing psychologist if you have all of this anger. My questions is WHY??? I’ve had a tougher life than Obama. I actually grew up in the inner city and my mother didn’t have the help of her parents to raise me nor did she have a college education. If I can grow up to be a relatively happy adult who didn’t have to go to a church that preached hatred towards white people and the “US of KKK A”, I don’t think Obama has any excuse either. He and his wife have been more priviledged than MOST people (white, black, Hispanic, Asian, or Native American) in this country. Obama’s only problem is that he has been so obsessed with his own mixed heritage that he has built himself up in his autobiography and he chose to go to a radical church to “fit in” and purge himself of his white identity. Whatever. I think Obama has some white guilt of his own. If he wasn’t for his white mother he would be NOWHERE today. He’s lucky she and his grandparents had the courage to raise him instead of throwing him in some foster home like many mixed kids I’ve met.

I don’t even know what is up with Michelle. Yea, she grew up in Chicago. So what? I grew up in a neighborhood where my neighbor got shot about 30 feet away from my front porch. We’ve all gone through rough times but I’ve learned to be thankful to be one of the few who make it out of that environment to become part of the “creative class”. Unfortunately, Barack and Michelle’s ivy league degrees and million dollar mansion have gone to their heads. Elitism is a state of mind and someone who grew up poor can still become an elitist and someone who is rich but has the sense not to look down on folks and actually understand where poor people and the working class in these small towns are coming from doesn’t have to be an elitist just because of the amount of money they have in their bank account.

I have never held a gun in my hand and I pray that I will never have to use one. I am not religious. That is not the point. I still RESPECT the tradition of hunting in this country. I understand that the majority of Americans with guns are nonviolent people. I understand that faith is very important to most Americans and it is NOT because they are bitter and angry. The problem is that the Obamas have NO RESPECT for middle America and Barack chose to make fun of middle America at an elitist event held by a bunch of San Francisco billionaires. He should be ashamed of himself. I’m tired of him and Michelle trying to explain their statements instead of maybe thinking about why their statements and generalizations about small town white people are so offensive.

I don’t give a rats ass how anyone grew up. What matters is the person you become.

Comment by DisenfranchisedVoter | 2008-04-16 02:15:24

The person each of us becomes often depends on our childhood experiences, the environment we grew up in, and the way we view ourselves, our parents, and other people. I think this is especially telling for people of mixed race. Mixed people are not the same and we do not look at ourselves the same as someone born white, black, Asian, etc. We are born into a world that in large part demands that we pick a category. Either we’re white, black, Asian, etc. but it is often taboo for someone, especially someone who is half black, to openly say that they consider themselves to be bi-racial instead of just black. I consider myself to be bi-racial. I find it hard to shun a part of who I am by choosing one race over another. So I always check the other or bi-racial race box. I view myself and my place in the world much differently than Obama even though we have the same skin color (I’m lighter than he is but relatively the same). So yea, how Obama grew up and viewed himself, his relationship with his grandparents and mother as well as his decision to attend Rev. Wright’s church speaks volumes about his personal beliefs and opinions about America and working class whites.

I think the Obamas were legacy admissions, like George Bush. Barack’s father attended Harvard, and Michelle brother attended Princeton.

Comment by DisenfranchisedVoter | 2008-04-16 09:34:13

Yes, I agree. I’m not saying some legacy admits aren’t smart and capable of doing well at ivy league schools but it definitely helps them get in. The same with Obama. He’s smart but legacy is often more helpful than affirmative action. Not only are you getting an extra advantage because someone in your family attended the school, you’re getting an advantage for already being born into priviledge. I doubt most legacy admits grew up poor. I know some of these people and they are my friends but they grew up in world where it is expected of them to get into top schools. They are raised with private tutors, like Obama they went to the best private high schools, and their family had the money for test preparation. Do these folks really need another huge advantage than what was handed to them at birth? I’m saying this as someone whose children will have the priviledge of being a legacy admit to some of these schools and trust that they won’t have to go through the same hardships I went through to get in.

I love Tavis Smiley. I watch his show regularly out here in LA. I’ve always thought he was one of the brightest talk show host I’ve ever seen. The way he questions his quests has always impressed me. He has done so much for the AA community his whole life, and I’m totally surprised that he has been thrown under the bus so easily by his community. In my mind, Tavis Smiley is the one with true courage. Tavis would never let his community go without heat or water to advance his own cause. You can see that Tavis has a huge heart for all humanity, and I respect him greatly. If Tavis was running for President I would vote for him in a second.

I certainly can’t say the same about Obama.

Most AA’s cannot abide other AA’s making it in the world. AA’s who make it are called Uncle Toms and oreos. I, as an old white woman, find that reasoning intolerable. I was reared in the south and was taught not to see color only character. I am completely disgusted with all the race talk from the current POTUS campaign. We had made great progress in our race relations in this country and someone is setting us all back decades.

Wise words, Sugar. I listen and read Tavis whenever I catch a column or appearance and have always found him to be a great thinker no matter what topic he’s addressing. I think it’s sad that so many Obama supporters have taken to insulting and threatening anyone that dares to even question him. I’ve seen it in all quarters and it’s a mistake I think they’ll one day come to regret.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-15 21:53:20

Well Tavis was a wee bit upset that Obama couldn’t bring himself to attend the State of the Black Union. That was a smug slap in the face …no scrap that, it was spit in the face. He ‘offered’ to send his wife though, because he was just too busy to hang out with the AA community that day. The community that put so much passion into his candidacy.

Elitist? No? Really?

Comment by tnjen | 2008-04-16 01:32:50

Yeah, I know. Obama has turned his head away whenever anything of importance to the black community comes up. I honestly wonder if he thinks he’s just too good for anybody. The excuse that he doesn’t want to be labeled “the black candidate” doesn’t fly at all with me. Every politician who cares about social justice should be there period. US politicians represent EVERYONE in this country and black issues are AMERICAN ISSUES. Honestly, this may sound strange but when I see Obama I see the worst of white privilege. To me, he’s just another preppy, privileged, country club ‘white’ guy that went to Harvard on a legacy clause and has never worried about material things and thinks he’s better than everybody else. I don’t know if that makes any sense but he just reminds me of all the Tucker Carlson’s in the world instead of someone real that cares about social injustice and poverty.

Comment by LandOLincoln | 2008-04-16 14:10:58

I agree. I think Barry Obama wants to be white in the worst way–and he is.

When I had cable, I remember liking Tavis Smiley when I ran across his show. He was a good journalistic interviewer and I imagine still is although I don’t watch TV anymore. He was sort of Charlie Rose for people who weren’t insomniacs.

I cannot believe how thoroughly the AA community has thrown their vote away on this flim-flam artist who hasn’t done a damned thing for any black people but himself and his family. He’s done NOTHING for them and they are carpeting the ground beneath his feet with their own skin. It’s awful.

Comment by stodghie | 2008-04-16 03:45:43

tavis will still be with us long after obama is a forgotten wannabe.

Comment by yttik | 2008-04-15 22:27:20

Great words, Sugar.

I’m so sorry all of this stuff is happening, it makes me angry. This is not how people should behave towards each other.

I really don’t know how people do it, people like Travis Smiley. Or Hillary Clinton. I would have thrown in the towel a long time ago and decided people just weren’t worth it.

Comment by yttik | 2008-04-15 22:41:33

“Tavis”, sorry.

Did anyone read Earl Ofari Hutchinson? I thought he made a good point about how obama should issue a statement of support to Tavis. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/earl-ofari-hutchinson/hang-in-there-tavis-smile_b_96253.html

Not that Obama will, but if he was a real leader, he’d lead. He’d set the tone. He’d let it be known to his supporters how he expects them to treat people, especially people like Tavis who is not the enemy. Go harass somebody like karl rove.

Comment by Catriley | 2008-04-15 22:42:57

OBama will only do it if Axelrod sees some political benefit to it.

Comment by TeakWoodKite | 2008-04-15 23:11:03

He’d let it be known to his supporters how he expects them to treat people,

He has never “lead” anything in his entire life. He knows nothing about setting a repesctful “tone”. As for how he treats people he learned from the best side show in town.

I very much wish it was different.

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-04-16 00:52:00

Ehemmmm……..They are too busy harassing members of the Black congressional caucus.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-16 11:51:10

Obama is not a leader. He is a divider. Deliberately. He is the Democratic version of George W. Bush. He will bring war, hatred, division and pain.

What happened to Smiley is a shame, just another BS ‘John Lewis’ scenario, otherwise known as “if you’re African-American and you go against Barack we’ll do everything we can to blacklist you.”

It’s a bunch of Stalinist garbage, and this stuff has got to stop. And the only way for us to get it to stop is to expose it as Sugar’s post does. Great work.

*thumbs up*

Barack X — The videos

My brother John and I made 2 videos last night discussing “Bittergate” and how it’s not going to play well in Pennsylvania. Since we are both spent a lot of time in Pennsylvania in our youths and since I live there right now, we definitely know of what we speak. We also tied-in the Reverend Wright and William Ayers stuff, as well as the words of esteemed African-American Ph.D. Thomas Sowell who discusses the concept of Barack, himself, being a lie.

We have named Barack “Barack X,” in honor of the late Malcolm X and Barack’s affinity for him, as well as Barack’s numerous radical associations. And to highlight this new name we have included some funny footage of the Saturday Night Live character (played by Chris Rock) “Nat X.”

I should also mention that John is very conservative, so you can get a Republican perspective on Barack Obama and what we’ll be up against if Obama is named our nominee and the GOP is facing us down instead of other Dems who don’t want to hurt each others’ feelings too much.

The videos are informative and entertaining. I’m on via speakerphone and John handles the hosting/on-camera duties. Check them out and have a laugh. Total running time is about 20 minutes, but it goes fast.

Instead of linking to them individually I’ll just put the link to our site where we have them both posted:

LOL! John Lewis supported Hillary UNTIL he discovered that someone planned to run against him.

I’m sure you made a nice video. People just don’t care about the bitter comments.

John Lewis supported Hillary until Jesse, Jr. threatened him with well-funded (Soros?)primary opposition in his next election bid. I had admired John Lewis for years, and have kept a quotation of his taped to my computer monitor,”We may have come to this country on different ships, but we’re all in the same boat now.” Such a shame for him to feel that he had to give into Obama’s velvet-gloved thugs.

Translation: “Let’s call out the remarks and bury the slime oozing off the smarmy thieving thug we support. Let’s threaten everybody’s lives and well being and they will “forget”. Nobody is going to forget. Especially not in November”.

Oh don’t even put Barack Obama in the category of Malcolm X. We’ll have some fightin to do if you do. Malcolm was a great voice for the struggle, and Obama is a plagarizing asshole who never knew the struggle Malcolm was talking about. Come on now, damn, don’t make him something he’s not.

Comment by mimi | 2008-04-16 12:58:01

Yes , please don’t do that. Malcolm X was a genuine leader and was intelligent. Malcolm X educated himself after a tough childhood and a criminal lifestyle. I believe his father was lynched and his mother had mental illness.

Please don’t confuse this fraud with one of the most incredible stories of survival and transformation just because Malcolm X’s politics was radical and something you disagreed with.

At the end of his life, Malcolm was on the verge of yet another transformation which included a more accessible attitude with regard to whites.

Comment by Untilthelastdogdies | 2008-04-16 21:29:46

I agree! Malcolm’s ass sure as hell wasn’t plopped down in the middle of a place like Punahou by his loving grandparents…

I think the integrity of individuals like Malcolm X and Tavis Smiley speaks for itself and will be with us forever. Unfortunately, Obama’s street-cred will last only as as long as this election cycle!

Sugar,

Thanks very much for your post. No matter whom one is supporting, we can only hope that support is based on fact, on the record, on the truth. Many people have been trashed these past few months and I am sorry that Tavis Smiley is one of them. I am sorry Hillary Clinton has to endure daily bashing of a kind I have not yet seen before. Sorry Gerry Ferraro, sorry Miss Fowler, sorry Sen. Obama’s Grandma, sorry people of PA, sorry to the people whose names I do not mention here and sorry to the average voter who tries to make a legitimate case and is trashed by hateful comments that have no basis in fact, or common sense, for that matter.

I can only pray that the slumber will soon be over and people will wake up to the truth and actually check the facts out for themselves. We need a president who is actually going to work for us, regardless of sex, race, age or any other characteristic that has nothing to do with doing the job.

Comment by Strawberrybitch | 2008-04-15 22:46:08

Why can’t Tavis run for POTUS?

Comment by Janis | 2008-04-15 23:04:40

Because we need people like Tavis to keep an eye on all the other shysters who try.

If this man finagles this nomination like he is doing, my next site will be for all the people he has disenfranchised, to organize and work our asses off against him. Because it’s not going to be enough to see him defeated, which he
