VERY powerful!

I liked it!

Comment by Catriley | 2008-04-19 17:07:07

Wow. That is absolutely amazing. It deserves to be seen, and sent around, and talked about. And listened to… so perfect.

Comment by yttik | 2008-04-19 17:09:50

Good one!

No matter how loud and obnoxious Obama supporters get, they don’t speak for me. He is not the “will of the people” because I too am a people. Two million voters in Florida and Michigan are people. Tavis Smiley is a people. Trying to strong arm everybody into supporting Obama doesn’t make you right, it makes you a bully.

Comment by Dawnelle | 2008-04-19 17:10:38

I saw AMerica (ugly betty) and Amber Tamblin in one of the last pictures saying, “NOT ME”

coooool

Comment by Mary Jo Kopechne | 2008-04-19 17:25:28

Nice one, Flineo. Patriotism feels righteous about now.

Why would Dean, Pelosi etc ever presume to speak for me? Do they actually think Hillary supporters are going fall in line like sheep behind Obama?

Hillary and Obama are as different as apples and oranges, or maybe I should say apples and lemons!

No way will I ever vote for Obama and if “my” party’s official won’t speak for me, then I guess it’s not my party.

Comment by SusanUnPC | 2008-04-19 17:34:37

Stay tuned! We are going to post a story shortly about the DNC. I am so upset with them and Howard Dean, who I supported so heartily in 2003-2004. I wish they knew how much they are alienating millions of longtime, dedicated Democrats.

Comment by Janis | 2008-04-19 18:34:32

Yeah. I was a Deaniac too, and happy to be one. He was the sparkly maverick, but he had experience, a long history of balancing budgets, plus giving rights to all citizens. He was a fighter, a tough little son of a bitch on the side of light. His campaign fell prey to the same things that killed a lot of dot-com companies — death by success. Set up a web page and advertise your wares, and suddenly a clicks-and-mortar place is swamped with a hundred thousand orders that they can’t handle.

Now look at him. It’s heartbreaking. I can’t express how disappointed I am in him.

This kind of arrogance is the reason why non-cultists are less likely to vote for ‘the Chosen One’ with each passing day. We didn’t choose him and we resent cultists trying to choose for us.

Comment by Bud White | 2008-04-19 17:35:02

Beautiful…the Obamacans don’t realize–with their racial & sexist politics, selective disenfranchisement, and outright lies–that they are ripping the party apart.

Comment by jes | 2008-04-19 17:43:39

One can only assume that the Obamabots have never heard that old expression, “when you sow the wind, you reap the whirlwind”.

Comment by jwrjr | 2008-04-19 17:50:54

Or “be careful what you wish for. You might get it.”

Garlic Nose! I had no idea that was you! You are one righeously fine blogger!

Comment by Garlic-Nosed Guitarist | 2008-04-19 18:58:55

Uppity!

Why thank you! :)

I’ve been writing articles since the early ’90s but only started blogging a few days ago.

I will either start my own blog or do a guest thing — It is great to participate in the threads but the ideas tend to get buried, as is the nature of the beast.

Ciao,

Like it or not, some voters believe you can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep, or by how they speak in private, etc. Just because Obama’s supporters are willing to give him a pass on those things doesn’t mean the rest of the country has to too.

The National Honor Society said the same thing, when my son inducted.

Senator Obama doesnt fit the defination, neither do his supporters.

In fact, the louder and more obnoxious you are, the less you speak for me.

This garlic-nosed bitch can do loud and obnoxious for her damned self, thanks. :-)

I resemble that remark!

And has anyone thought about the qualitative differences of Michelle vs. Bill as first lady? :)

I vote for Bill for first lady! :)

Holy cow, Jewish AND Italian. To Obama that’s a double quota!

Well he is for it but he isn’t. He is pro-choice but he isn’t. He is for affirmative action, but he isn’t. He is against raising taxes but he’s for it. He is a lot of things he isn’t.

Comment by Janis | 2008-04-19 18:31:25

Brilliant. Obama in a nutshell.

Comment by Catriley | 2008-04-19 19:22:19

I think the term Obama prefers, btw, is “pro abortion” according to that Compassion gig last week. He’s real champion of women’s rights alright (not)

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-19 20:25:29

Well over in POCKISTON, where all his buddies come from, they set women on fire if they piss any men off.

Comment by Garlic-Nosed Guitarist | 2008-04-19 20:32:54

I can tell you what Obama isn’t by what Hill is, as I write earlier today:

“…Hillary is the best choice for America, she is an empathic, wise, and seasoned leader with great judgment. She can also take anything slung at her and reply with grace and courage under fire and can think on her feet. Obama can’t do any of that.”

Comment by Garlic-Nosed Guitarist | 2008-04-19 20:28:03

I think he has a bladder control issue as well, since he keeps pissing vitriolic sulfuric acid rhetoric on all of us. Yuck, nice image. :)

Do any of you remember when Bill Clinton was president and he would visit a foreign country and the people would come out screaming just to see him? Everybody loved him. I felt so proud to be an American. I want a president again that the world loves. I want to feel special again when our president visits a foreign country and everybody is happy to see her.

Comment by ginamc | 2008-04-20 10:17:19

Great video. I needed that one this morning. I just saw Meet the Press, and everyone still repeating the same refrain of “Obama is the inevitable nominee” but, today it took a new twist… he is the inevitable nominee even if you count in Florida. What?! OK, I guess they forgot about MI. I am SICK of hearing about the INEVITABILITY of BO while FL and MI are not even a footnote in the discussion.

well the evolution continues. 1st the shameless MSM get dumped. They make it damn near impossible to question Bush on leadup to war by aggressive cheerleading for it. Of course NOW they berate people for supporting it. So many turned to blogs for information and journalism. Blogs became Very self satisfied. Now they presume to spin, and speak for us and at us. I believe many of the large blogs are about to learn the same lesson MSM did 4 yrs ago. Inform us, but stop the manipulation. And frankly I’m tired of the your way or the highway attitude. I must admit one positive thing though I have discovered some excellent new blogs. Listen up kos, TPM, and huffington.
