Hillary on the A.M. Shows, Open Thread & Announcement

UPDATE: Check out this great Web site, “Hillary Rapid Responders.” (It’s so organized, fun, and informative. I’m signing up for its action alerts. How come I never knew about this site before? Oh well, I’m on board now.)

FYI: Our spam filter is acting up again. If you post a comment, but it doesn’t appear, please e-mail me at susanunpc at gmail dot com. I can search the spam filter and retrieve your comments. Since there are almost 2,000 spam items just today, I can’t search through them all, so send me an e-mail.

ALSO: I hear that Turncoat Bill Richardson and James Carville will be on Larry King tonight. AND HERE ARE some videos of Hillary on the mornings shows today:

::::::::::

Thank you, C.S., for capturing all of these videos.

Susan: I don’t know how you keep writing all of this day in and day out. You’re a superwoman.

Here is the narrative I want to hear for the next two weeks, though I know we won’t: Barack Obama needs to win the Indiana Primary, or its all over.

North Carolina means nothing. If Obama wins North Carolina and loses Indiana, it just highlights the weaknesses of his candidacy- he can win in states with lots of upper-class whites and few minorities, he can win in states with large AA populations, but he can’t win the large states dominated by middle-class voters.

He would not compete in Michigan- and proceeded to use Hillary’s refusal to take her name off the ballot there as a weapon in New Hampshire (how’d that work out for you, Barack?) He cheated in Florida, but lost anyway- so now he’s using his leverage with the DNC to keep that delegation from being seated. He’s lost California, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania. He’s going to lose big time in Kentucky.

So where can he prove his “electability?” Indiana. That’s it. If Obama loses Indiana, he’ll still be ahead in delegates. But he will have lost the electability argument once and for all.

Then the Superdelegates can decide- do they want to hand the nomination to the guy who can’t win Catholics, Latinos, Middle-and-Lower Class Whites, or Women?

If the answer is “yes,” get ready for an absolute blowout in November.

Come on, Media, do your job. Indiana is the ball game.

Even if we don’t hear it from the MSM, John, we can put it out ourselves. It’s a good idea, whether it’s coming from them or us!

LOL, wouldn’t that be hysterical? Of course, I’d feel like I was on another planet if I heard or read that anyone said that about Obambi!

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-04-24 08:47:57

BABY-O is not going to win IN…..I’ve lived in Indianaolis and the Chicago shit will not play well to HOOSIERS…I don’t see him doin well outside of Gary….Evan Baye will be her Rendell…

Also, most of his wins were caucuses. And we all know how accurate those are.

Comment by Janis | 2008-04-23 21:44:04

And when Hillary wins Indiana, they’ll just move the goalposts again.

Comment by SN | 2008-04-23 21:59:22

Here’s the narrative I want to hear:

Barack Obama’s pledged delegate count lead does NOT matter because he won them before the country got to truly KNOW him, his associates and how he and his campaign perform under pressure!

I wish I’d known you didn’t know about Hillary Rapid Responders — I always think that by the time I find out about something, everybody else already knows. I’ve been signed up for a while and they’re great.

Btw, I’m watching Larry King right now (I generally ignore all cable news at this point), but right now James Carville is kicking Bill Richardson’s a*s. It’s not a pretty sight. They’re talking about debating and counting all the votes (FL and MI). I’m waiting for a Clinton surrogate to ask “what is it exactly about democracy that Obama doesn’t like? Why is Obama afraid of the democratic process?” Clearly that’s the subtext.

Oy — Richardson just started in on Obama representing “Hope and Opportunity.” Hmph. He represents my hope that Clinton keeps on exploiting her opportunities to clean his clock.

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-04-24 08:51:21

I’ve always had a fondness for that ol’ dog Carville…..He’s a tough SOB….I can’t believe Richardson agreed to that….That US GOVT. ISSUE CRACK he’s smokin from the UNITY PIPE must be especially potent this mornin…..

New Bill Ayers tape coming up on Hannity. For those that didn’t see it on the last thread, Sean called PA a “humiliating defeat” for Obama.

Comment by DCDemocrat | 2008-04-23 20:41:41

Talktruth, Sean Hannity only said that because it’s true.

Comment by Talktruth | 2008-04-23 20:49:00

Yes, dear sweet Jesus, it is! But I’m not used to hearing truth coming from the boob tube, and it’s still a major shock hearing it from Sean :-J.

Have a great night, folks. And thanks to all the writers that do such a good job here at NoQuarter!

Comment by NoBama | 2008-04-23 21:19:05

Carville said tonight that whoever wins Indiana should be the nominee. I think Hillary feels comfortable she can win there.

Comment by AF catfish | 2008-04-23 21:50:27

Dave Letterman on why Richardson endorsed Obama (skip to 1:45 in): “also, Obama offered cookies, cake, pie and caramel.”

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-04-24 08:56:11

Well I needed that laugh….Thanks for posting the link…Letterman being a hoosier is gonna have a lot of fun over the next few weeks….

Comment by beebop | 2008-04-24 08:59:09

That really rocked. We need more funny stuff!

Just watched Carvelle and Gov. Richardson.

It is amazing to think that Billy Boy, while campaigning did not use all those “diplomatic skills” he keeps spoutin about and DO something about Florida and Michigan.

I mean after all, he say he has negotiated with dictators. Surely the Democratic leadership isn’t a dictator, is it? I mean these are fellow citizens we are taking about here.

Carville, “Gov. Richardson made representations, I stick by what I said and it was in context.”

If I was going to negotiate with the governor of New Mexico, I would know at least one thing before hand.
He does not keep his word.
With respect to the people of great state of New Mexico, imagine if those were your votes that where not counted…What in the world has he been ingesting?

Negotiate that “twisting knife”. You can run BO , but you can’t hide.

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-04-24 08:58:18

Ehemmm……Bill Richardson the fat one that dropped out….LOL

Comment by Patrick Henry | 2008-04-23 22:58:24

Is negotiation like Lying to each other and then each side going away believe they got the Upper Hand in the Negotiations.??.because as far back as I can remember most negotiations seem to have failed..the only thing that keeps getting recycled are the negotiators.. in the same old landscape..
