Bingo! Malicious YouTube Hoaksters Exposed

The Internet was ablaze with You Tube videos early Friday (5/1/08) showing footage from The War Room, Part 9, a documentary about Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign, that supposedly depicted Clinton aide Mickey Kantor referring to folks in Indiana as “shit.” More outrageous versions were spawned later that also claimed that Kantor called people “white nig**rs.”

None of it was true. By late Friday, it had been completely debunked, and Mickey Kantor vowed to take legal action against the culprits. (For background, check out D. Cupples’ earlier story here.)

Based on my research, I recommend that Kantor’s legal team immediately contact Jamal Brown of Venice, CA (Brown owns a small business that specializes in videos); Dietrich Cusseaux of Spring, TX; JedReport.com out of Las Vegas; Markos Moulitsas, owner of Daily Kos; and the Barack Obama campaign.

CRITICAL SIDE NOTE: Six hours ago, Jamal Brown posted another YouTube video: “Hillary Clinton is trying to get Barack Obama killed!.” (WE PLAN to address this abhorrent video in a separate story.)

The original hoax video was posted around 3PM on Thursday by BingoFrogger at You Tube, who created that You Tube account that day. Shortly afterwards, the video was spread to Daily Kos under a new screenname, Slow Poke.

I believe that Slow Poke is BingoFrogger - just think about the old video game Frogger, where the frog keeps getting hit by cars because it is a “slow poke,” and it makes sense…Markos at Daily Kos could provide a valuable service to the reality-based community by releasing Slow Poke’s IP information to the Kantor legal team. Meanwhile, further examination of the BingoFrogger account reveals startling web-like connections between various other You Tube accounts:

BingoFrogger had 10 subscribers shortly after being created. Four of them (reckkent, smwebb0704, astroseer, and lavlove) only subscribe to BingoFrogger, and could be sock puppets for other actions. Four subscribers appear to be unimportant in the scheme of things. Ladybchi is of interest, because “she” only subscribes to BingoFrogger, barackobama.com, and some other account, and lists barackobama.com as a friend.

But it is the last subscriber who opens a window into the spiderweb-like connections I have found, and should be checked out by people with skills greater than my own. Dcusseaux, who appears to be Dietrich Cusseaux of Texas, based on pro-Obama writings online and The Audacity of Hope listed as one of his two favorite books, subscribes to only three You Tube accounts - BingoFrogger, JedReport, and edbdpt1, and lists one friend - style6919.

We’re already familiar with BingoFrogger. JedReport is a strong anti-Hillary/pro-Obama force online who happens to be friends with another notorious poster of videos, Politikewl, who reposted BingoFrogger’s video around 2 AM Friday morning. Edbdpt1 is certainly not involved with what happened, but is very important to this story because he/she posted the War Room series of documentary clips at You Tube, and Part 9 was used to create the hoax. It’s certainly fascinating that Dcusseaux, an Obama supporter, would subscribe to edbdpt1.

But it’s even more fascinating that Dcusseaux’s only You Tube friend, style6919, a strong Obama supporter with a “calling card” in his profile which we’ll take a look at momentarily, lists The War Room, Part 9 as one of his favorite videos - indeed, a look at his favorites clearly shows that this is the only video among his 72 favorites that is pro-Clinton…well at least it used to be, until BingoFrogger posted the original hoax video.

As I mentioned before, he left his calling card - wholesaleleatherstore.com/barack.html, which has many pro-Obama videos. A WHOIS reveals the owner as J Miles B Productions, of Venice, CA, and by googling on this, we come up with Jamal Boone of Venice, President of J Miles B (Jamal Miles Boone) Productions, which specializes in the production of “movies music and videos.”

No doubt, Jamal Boone has the skills to produce BingoFrogger’s video. He subscribes to BingoFrogger, he lists The War Room, Part 9 as one of his favorite videos even though he is anti-Hillary and pro-Obama…and he only subscribes to one thing at You Tube - barackobama.com. Billows of smoke usually mean a fire is somewhere close. I sincerely hope that Mickey Kantor sends a team of firemen to take a good look at them.

Sincerely,
John Dean

Anybody who has a you tube account can flag the video as innapropriate, which I jsut did. There will be a list of reasons why you think the video should be removed, including violence.
Hope somebody captures this and then we should all flag it so it gets taken down.

Hello Blogger,

This is Jamal Boone in Venice. Just to clear things up. I didn’t create the original Mickey Cantor video. I saw it on Youtube and I thought if this video was true this needs to get out. So I copied it from Youtube and posted it up on my videos quickly. But Then I heard where the original comments originated from “The War Room”. I looked it up on Youtube, found part nine, placed it in my favorites, listened to over and over with the audio amped up and tried to decipher what Kantor was saying. All I could hear was “those people are shitting” I wasn’t sure if he was talking about Indiana posters or Indiana Voters. So I removed the video, no one told me to. I admit I hastily posted it without doing my research. I apologize to Mr Kantor for that. But I did not create the original. I do not know the person who did.

I am a strong Obama supporter. I used to just create peaceful fun positive videos about Barack, until Sen. Clinton released her kitchen sink strategy and I became infuriated. I decided to fight back. I look forward to your criticism of my latest video on the mailer that the Clinton campaign created. It can also be found on Politico.com Ben’s Smith blog. I think it’s dangerous, and I will explain to you why after I read your criticism.

Peace,

Jamal Boone in Venice

Oh good grief…project much? Now you’re saying Hillary wants Obama dead? Jesus wept. You need professional help. Kitchen sink my ass, you’re grasping at straws. Taylor Marsh has a great rebuttal to Ben’s pathetic attack on Hillary. And all the mea culpas in the world will not make up for all the garlic nose, Archie Bunker, bitter, gun toting, church going, typical white person comments made by both Obama and his minions. Have fun in November without us. You’ll need it.

Comment by Jamal Boone | 2008-05-05 12:15:38

You were never going to vote for Obama anyway. Nothing lost there.

Comment by Pie Hole | 2008-05-05 16:03:51

Hey Jamal, “peace” my ass.

Nice trope there: deliberately misspelling Mickey Kantor’s name as “Cantor”, in hopes that we would imagine you’re really not all that familiar with the guy’s name. Reminds me of Judy Miller (NYTimes) doctoring her notes and writing down Valerie Plame’s name as “Valerie Flame?” (complete with question mark to emphasize her feigned unfamiliarity with the name).

BTW: when and where exactly did you find the ‘gun-mailer’ video on YouTube before you so thoughtfully chose to repost it for our edification?

And how does that work, would K** have to donate the money to charity?

Oh, wait…

It’s Obama who keeps having to donate money to charity, it’s so confusing, every time you turn around the big bake sale has another recalled cookie…

Just think “smurf” “smurf” “smurf” and call the IRS…

Comment by Nellie | 2008-05-05 16:07:50

Perhaps after tomorrow - not only should the IRS be involved - but if there is a lawyer among us we need to file a HUGE group complaint with the FEC and have a complete audit done of Obama, and all his funding and finances.

Some people claim that McCain’s administration would be McBush revisited.

However if the worst happens and Obama manages to sneak into the white house — it would be the O’Bush part 3 white house. [But I still see Madam President being sworn in come next January!]

And hell yea — I want to see the evil doers get caught and have the book thrown at them.

Obama is up to his eyeballs in Chicago dirty politics — he’s not smart enough to not get caught with for something???

These Obamabots are pulling one dirty trick after another — the caucus garbage — then the NAFTA mailers and the GOP vintage anti Universal Health care mailers. Going to the Canadians and telling them — never mind what Obama says about NAFTA — he’s just talking to dumb ass white guys to get their votes.

With all the crap the Obamabots are pulling some of it has to bounce back and dirty them!!!

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-05-05 09:37:28

Rain….Not that I differ from your concluson…..But I, shall we say pause..
Obama is really a cypher…..My feeling is that I have no idea what to expect if he becomes POTUS. If I make a logical conclusion based on the fact that as a politician his entire career has been engineered to this point then I have to look at the best references for behavior available.
I know that his greatest political influences are those propagated by Racial Suprematists….and Political Radicals…..
It looks as if his money is generated by Foreign Political Extremists….
Obama has carefully eradicated evidence of his state senate records to avoid review…..
I think there is no comparison in our country’s recent history to use in forming a logical conclusion in anticipation of what an Obama presidency would be.
There is however a worthy comparison in history…..It is Berlin 1933

Comment by Aremis Asling | 2008-05-05 13:37:50

I guess I’m one of those ‘pigs’ then. I’m an Obama supporter, but I find this video to be a disgusting perversion of the truth, same as you.

I can’t see how this is in any way a demonstration of normal behavior for Obama supporters, however. Furthermore your ‘detective work’ showing that they subscribed to Obama’s channel is just plain garbage. It’s a public channel and anyone can subscribe. This person is clearly an Obama supporter, but the fact that they support Obama doesn’t mean Obama supports them. Hillary’s campaign is similarly rife with people making comments she doesn’t agree with. How many people has she fired so far for inappropriate comments again? And they worked for her campaign. These people are just a handful of whack-jobs with no lives. And if you look at the comments on the video, no one bought it. It’s a flimsy, crummy argument anyway. Anyone who actually finds this to be a valid reason to vote for Obama is someone the Obama campaign doesn’t need as a supporter. And he certainly doesn’t need the sort of people who make videos like this. I’d be quicker to question your integrity for actually buying this crap as a valid tactic of any campaign.

And in the midst of all the noise and mudslinging usually attributed to any kind of election I haven’t heard ONE WORD about any of this. No news stories. Nothing in the blogosphere other than this one piddly little article that is trying like hell to make it into an issue. In other words, quit making a mountain out of a molehill.

You don’t like Obama, that’s fine. You don’t like his supporters, that’s fine too. But this conspiratorial BS is just ridiculous.

Aremis

The new video on “style6919’s” YouTube page is absurd. He’s trying to say Clinton’s ad attacking Obama’s waffling on gun control is advocating violence.

I posted a comment on the site but it was taken away:

Even if you DO think the ad is implying violence against Obama, given the crap people like Olbermann have said targeting Hillary, this alleged “gun aimed at Obama” is at best SELF-DEFENSE on the part of Senator Clinton.

Ugh. What else is this guy going to pull out of his ass?

Comment by Uppity | 2008-05-04 23:47:37

I always check the read count on those things. Some of these youtubers are just playing with themselves in the dark and get their friends to post comments. Unless I see that hundreds of thousands of people are looking at the thing, I dismiss it. That place is crawling with little Obama nobodys pretending their stuff means anything. If there was even a smidgeon of truth, CNN and MSNBC would be covering it for the Baby Jesus.

burnt norton, “wire in the blood”:

II.

Garlic and sapphires in the mud
Clot the bedded axle-tree.
The trilling wire in the blood
Sings below inveterate scars
Appeasing long forgotten wars.
The dance along the artery
The circulation of the lymph
Are figured in the drift of stars
Ascend to summer in the tree
We move above the moving tree
In light upon the figured leaf
And hear upon the sodden floor
Below, the boarhound and the boar
Pursue their pattern as before
But reconciled among the stars.

Beautiful poem…

Here is a place of disaffection
Time before and time after
In a dim light: neither daylight
Investing form with lucid stillness
Turning shadow into transient beauty
With slow rotation suggesting permanence
Nor darkness to purify the soul
Emptying the sensual with deprivation
Cleansing affection from the temporal.
Neither plenitude nor vacancy. Only a flicker
Over the strained time-ridden faces
Distracted from distraction by distraction
Filled with fancies and empty of meaning
Tumid apathy with no concentration
Men and bits of paper, whirled by the cold wind
That blows before and after time,
Wind in and out of unwholesome lungs
Time before and time after.
Eructation of unhealthy souls
Into the faded air, the torpid
Driven on the wind that sweeps the gloomy hills of London,
Hampstead and Clerkenwell, Campden and Putney,
Highgate, Primrose and Ludgate. Not here
Not here the darkness, in this twittering world.

Descend lower, descend only
Into the world of perpetual solitude,
World not world, but that which is not world,
Internal darkness, deprivation
And destitution of all property,
Desiccation of the world of sense,
Evacuation of the world of fancy,
Inoperancy of the world of spirit;
This is the one way, and the other
Is the same, not in movement
But abstention from movement; while the world moves
In appetency, on its metalled ways
Of time past and time future.

IV

Time and the bell have buried the day,
The black cloud carries the sun away.
Will the sunflower turn to us, will the clematis
Stray down, bend to us; tendril and spray
Clutch and cling?

Chill
Fingers of yew be curled
Down on us? After the kingfisher’s wing
Has answered light to light, and is silent, the light is still
At the still point of the turning world.

Don’t these scuzzbags realize that they can and will be found out?

For a lot of them, no, they are so OUT of it, it’s like they’re in a movie, but they don’t know it, they don’t see anything but themselves, they don’t KNOW anything, no self or other awareness. And they feed off each other, and who ever is manipulating them controls them, a really cloistered, closed environment, a typical, controlled group dynamic.

And since they’re maybe 6 degrees of separation from the candidate, or some rich guy, they think they’re protected, and happening.

Not understanding, of course, the rich guy is also a slave.

They’re like sideshow Bob, of the Simpson’s — all this grandiose pretense, but none of their plans ever work.

Ever.

Hm.

They remind me of sliced tomatoes on buttered toasted bagels, for some reason.

Maybe tomorrow’s breakfast.

Or a midnight snack…

Indiana and North Carolina Democrats, your help is needed to avert an ugly controversy awaiting us in Puerto Rico. In the U.S. territory, citizens do not vote in presidential general elections, but they are given a voice in the Democratic primary.

Puerto Rico’s Democratic party decided, on March 8 of this year, to hold a primary rather than a caucus to allocate it’s 55 delegates. This decision was made after it became clear that in a close contest, the total popular vote — no matter how skewed a figure, due to the mix of primary and caucus states — would become an important number in discussions about the nomination. States that had already had their caucuses, in full accordance with the rules established before the primary season began, did not have the re-do option.

Colorado and Puerto Rico have been allocated the same number of pledged delegates, 55. With Puerto Rico holding a primary with an expected turnout of at least a million voters, its popular vote will likely equal the total caucus votes of Colorado PLUS the primary votes of South Carolina, New Hampshire, Delaware, and Utah, combined. Puerto Rico will thus have a popular vote equivalent vote strength of 160 pledged delegates, rather than their allocated 55.

If the perception is widespread that Obama won the delegate count but lost the popular vote, it will weaken our Democratic nominee and cause feelings of resentment among Clinton supporters. Our best hope of winning in the fall is with a strong nominee who was fairly chosen because he won the most pledged delegates and the most popular votes. The large popular vote expected for Clinton in Puerto Rico may make Obama fall short in the popular vote.

It is my expectation that Obama will end the primary season June 3 with a pledged delegate margin of about a hundred votes.

Shortly thereafter, I hope the DNC and Obama’s campaign will announce they will recommend that the credentials committee seat the Florida and Michigan delegations selected at their state conventions, giving Clinton a 60 net delegate gain. Obama will continue to lead the total pledged delegate count by about 40 votes.

I think that a few hundred superdelegates will announce their commitment to vote for Obama at the convention. Obama will be the presumptive nominee, AND Michigan and Florida will have been counted in the total.

If the situations were reversed, and Clinton was ahead by any number of pledged delegates, she would be the nominee. To do anything else would leave her supporters feeling severely alienated and cheated. The Democrats won’t do that to either side. Since Obama will almost certainly be in the lead, he will be the nominee. I hope that the Democrats can then unite around Obama, our nominee, and win in November.

If you’ve concluded, as I have, that our likely nominee, Senator Barack Obama, is worthy of your vote in the fall, I urge you to consider voting for him May 6. I think it is a wise move for everyone who hopes for a Democratic victory in the fall.

Even if Obama is not your first choice now, your vote in his column of the popular vote would be a gesture of hope for a Democratic victory in November. Doing so will help unite the Democratic Party and give us our best chance for a win in the general election.

Obama himself can easily “avert an ugly controversy awaiting us in Puerto Rico” by dropping out of the race. He has frequently shown that he doesn’t care about the Democratic Party (or even fellow AAs so quick to give him 90% of our vote), so you and he should not be surprised that the heart of the Party reciprocates in kind.

Obama is unfit for the Presidency. As a young, college-educated AA, I despise what he has done to this Party, and I’d only vote for him to be dog catcher with the assurance that he would be frequently bitten. Hillary Clinton is the one who has spent her life actually helping people rather than just talking about it. Obama only cares to help himself. I urge voters in the remaining contests to support HRC because it is in their direct interests to do so. If the elites in the Party think they can shove the fraud Obama down our throats, they should be aware that the consequences of their actions will be a McCain Presidency.

Obama stole “Hope” from Jesse (Keep Hope Alive) Jackson and didn’t even give him his due credit — standard operating procedure for a guy whose entire campaign is composed of other people’s ideas. I went against the grain and the brain-drain early on. I voted for HRC, and I hope others do the same. I actually care about the content of one’s character rather, as well as the only metric Obama has given us on which to evaluate him — his judgement (extreme lack thereof in his case). Obama will be lucky he isn’t indicted in the coming months.

Give Obama and the DNC elites the finger just as they gave it to us.

Vote for HRC and for all votes to be counted. We don’t need another self-serving, unprepared, unqualified, resident. We need a President for the people. We need Hillary Clinton.

This is one of the best comments and replies on BO that I’ve seen.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

I don’t think that Jesse Jackson has a copyright on ‘Hope’.

Judgement and character: HRC’s vote in favor of the Iraq War tells me that she is extremely lacking in both. With tragic consequences.

Comment by PDMM | 2008-05-05 13:24:26

Oh please, get off your high horse. First off BO has shown that he can’t take a stand on any important vote as he often votes, simply present so as not to be locked into an opinion. He wasn’t even in the Senate when that vote was taken. AND THE VOTE WAS NOT TO GO TO WAR BUT TO AUTHORIZE THE POTUS TO ACT ON WAR IF HE DECIDED. And frankly, if there is anyone in this country who didn’t know from the day he was inaugurated that Bush was going to wage war on Iraq then you were living in a cave. Since BO came to the Senate he HAS VOTED TO FUND THE WAR EVERY SINGLE TIME, JUST LIKE CLINTON. So get your facts straight.

Dear Typical,

You stated your case eloquently. I love your handle and even more appreciated this comment of yours:

Without character - there is no foundation on which to build anything decent. Thank you so much for that.

A vote for Barack H Obama guarantees a landslide of historic proportions for John Sidney McCain. I for one am going to enjoy reading every single word of the coverage after the Obama campaign crashes and burns. I will buy ever newspaper that I can get my hands on and savor the taste of his humiliation. Then and only then will the Democratic party begin to come to their senses!

Comment by Strawberrybitch | 2008-05-05 10:43:36

Beebop, they’ve got their concession speech already. “IT’S ALL HILLARY’S FAULT! SHE DID THIS TO US!”

Comment by beebop | 2008-05-05 10:45:02

Yeah … typical. He’s the classic leader for the “its never my fault” generation.

“‘Dems’ to Win,” you may want to wait to count your chickens until they come home to roost. And come home they will - the biggest chicken being Barack himself!

You have a lot of nerve stating that Obama is the best choice to win a general election when it’s clear HE CAN’T. But you go ahead and keep supporting your lame candidate who can’t keep his lies straight about Rev. Wright, corruption with Rezko, associations with terrorists like William Ayers. The people of Puerto Rico have seen the light and it is HILLARY CLINTON. They do not want a tainted man like Obama who can’t even stay strong for a primary race let alone what the Republicans would do to him in a General Election race!!

Hillary Clinton is the BEST candidate AND THE DEMOCRATS ONLY HOPE OF WINNING THE WHITE HOUSE IN NOVEMBER.

Now, scoot back to NObamabotland and drink more kool aid, DemsToWin.

I’m a bitter supporter of the 22nd Amendment, both letter and spirit.

No third term for the Clinton co-presidency!

Comment by speaktruth | 2008-05-05 20:32:04

Dems to Win,
Just how stupid do you think we are? Are you really buying that you are the creative class and we are the dumb, uneducated voters. Well, guess what, many, if not most of us have graduate degrees, some multiple Masters and doctorates, many are professors, writers, scientists, etc. So no, we are not buying the bridge you’re selling, with its lies, spin, and illogic. Most of us have done tons of research about who the candidates really are.

And your 22nd amendment comment means that you do not think FDR was good enough president to be elected for four terms - which he was. My parents, grandparents, and millions whose lives were literally saved by his presidency, would disagree with you. Repubs pushed 22nd amendment for fear of other beloved competent Dems.
That argument is for morons. Your logic is very flawed.
Which do you object to, the peace or prosperity?

GREAT investigative work. I hope this gets wide play.

Mostly I hope Kantor or the cretor of the film or someone sues the pants off these folks. Obama supporters are some of the vilest and mean spirited sob’s I have ever encountered any where.

Legal scholar, Jonathan Turley said on his blog:

“….the director of “The War Room” is saying that it is untrue. That would raise an interesting legal issue. Anyone who is responsible for the doctoring would be guilty of defamation and false light. It would be worth pursuing such a case, which would allow discovery of posters. The editor of the video, however, insists that he enhanced the audio but did not change it.”

If there is anything I can do - write a letter, make a phone call, sign a petition, just let me know. I will do it.

This kind of thing has got to stop.

For Obama to campaign as a candidate above the fray and against the politics of personal destruction he has certainly managed to arreact a lot of supporters who are anything but.

Obama has personal issues he needs to work out. He should not be doing that from the campaign trail, certainly not from the White House.

Let’s hope that the agrieved party nails this sleazy, pathetic lil bastard to the wall and hammers the nail in HARD! There should be a WHOLE LOT of laws being broken hear including wire fraud along with the libel. We’re talking CRIMES with fines and JAIL time. Nice of the obamalamadingdong campaign to keep quiet on this ain’y it? But then what did you expect from the campaign of such a dickless weasel anyway. With full apologies to any four footed furry weasels out there who might have lost their dicks through no fault of their own. This man and his cult are scum, lying, chickenshit scum!

This man and his cult are scum, lying, chickenshit scum!

Mostly no talent shitheads who don’t understand how the thing works.

I mean, you figure the Pentagon, the CIA, and/or the NSA has been doctoring film for YEARS.

As much as an affront as it is to Kantor, and he should sue, it’s nothing new, at all.

Again, before the boys do things such as this, they should ask themselves if someone is setting them up.

They never ever do…

I wonder why?

This needs to be forwarded IMMEDIATELY to Kantors legal team and the MSM. I’ve so had it with Obama supporters. They remind me of Hitler’s brown shirt thugs before he took power…intimidating everyone that stands in their way. They are trash!
