Because we are so pleased that a MAJOR news outlet like Fox News is covering this story — and very well, I might add — we forgive Sean Hannity for claiming the color photo is an “exclusive” even though it was our very own Patrick Henry who discovered and sent the photo to Larry and me yesterday.
We posted the photograph, along with perspectives on Mr. Ayers and his relationship to Barack Obama here in our story:

I wish people would quit saying their kids go to the same school. since that is a proven lie. They SHOULD say Axelrod lied and said their kids go to school together but since Obama’s kids are 6 and 9 and Ayers are 27 ish and 30. I was disappointed in this coverage. It doesn’t even touch the most important part of the story: Obama got his start from a fundraiser held at Ayers’ house, he worked with Ayers, and he LIED about the extent of the relationship!

I am amused that Liz Chadderdon is saying that there is media bias now that Obama is getting more scrutiny. This should have happened months ago. This is called vetting, not media bias.
I do not think the media is piling on him and rushing to report anything negative they can find.
I do not think I could bear to hear him whine if he becomes the nominee and the scrutiny comes out for real… I think the problems with Obama are withheld from the MSM so they can be used to a greater effect if he gets the nomination.
FOX did not bring up how half of the story in regard to his ties with Ayers. I felt like they are holding back…

Liz Chadderdon made me think that anyone could call themselves a “political strategist.” How could she honestly say she’d never heard of this before? Apparently you can be a political strategist and never actually look at any political sites on the internet?
I remember meeting a “political strategist” that was working for Andrea Seastrand, against Rep. Walter Capps, in California. The strategist was an interesting guy, very slick. I asked about his background and he told me point blank that anyone could call themselves a strategist and get work. I had a background in TV and an interest in politics, he’d encouraged me to print up some cards and go for it.
So.. I’m thinking the term “political strategist” is a rather loose one. Cuz.. Liz Chadderdon was about as lame as you could get.

You can not “contextualize” this sort of crazy and win an election. I don’t care if you have an ivy league PHD . It can not be done.
No matter what happens today in North Carolina or Indiana today, Obama will be radioactive by the end of the month. Almost every down ticket Democratic candidate from Senator and Governor to school board by convention time will be demanding that he remove himself for consideration as the party’s nominee. Still I pray NC grants us a miracle and it is all over for Obama today.
I have never been a Hillary supporter. But I am a Democrat. Unless Obama supporters are willing to make a credible case for the drafting of an alternative candidate like Edwards or Al Gore, than we must all act like responsible adults and support Hillary with all our might.

Larry, if you are reading…(sorry I’m still sort of stunned someone like Obama can get this close to the White House without someone noticing) but anyhow, there are quite a few of us reading right now, who’ve had to have background checks in order to get government jobs. From every little PFC to folks like you, working for the CIA. And I just have to ask, wouldn’t something like this disqualify you from getting hired, let alone get a security clearance? Hell, my husband damn near lost his Top secret clearance just because we fell behind on a credit card. But yet, it’s OK for a known and unrepentant terrorist to raise money for you? I have a headache in my eye.
I do know that for higher level clearances Barry’s associates would be cause for denial.
The only way he could get a clearance was for his senate buddies like Lieberman or Reid to pressure DISCO into overlooking his nefarious associates.
Of course the other possibility is that he doesn’t have a clearance which I suspect is the case. Why? because any thorough background check would have uncovered a truck load of dirt on Barry which could leaked out and be used against him in a presidential run.
And maybe that lack of a clearance is the reason he’s never visited NATO or held meetings of his committee.
He can’t because he’s a security risk.
It just dawned on me this morning that Obama is a terrorist. (I suppose it has dawned on others far before me.) The old “birds of a feather flock together.” Of course such sayings aren’t always true.. but in this case…
Everyone (not everyone, but) has been saying that it isn’t that Obama shares these beliefs, etc.,etc…
But that it’s a question of his judgement in having any kind of relationship with them at all.
Now I think I will just sidestep the issue of whatever ideologies might be kicking around out there, and focus instead on method.
Terrorism is defined in my OED (abridged) as:
the unoffical or unauthorized use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims.
And terror: from L terror. Terrerre “frightener.”
It is the mindset of what is appropriate behavior that I think Obama shares with Wright, Ayers, Dohrn..etc. It is the belief of what connotes
“appropriate behavior.” Dohrn, and company clearly believe appropriate behavior includes bombing, murder, intimidation, all violence.
Obama (and must we still say “campaign” or “supporters” when we point out bad behavior? Because I think I’m just gonna lay it all at Obama’s doorstep where it belongs) is using intimidation and violence.
The behavior at the caucases by Obama’s squad. The disallowing of democracy through threats and intimidation, “if Michigan and Florida are counted there will be violence in the streets.” If Obama doesn’t get the nomination there will be violent
uprising in Denver.
This is the calculated mechanizations of a domestic terrorist. Death threats to Clinton supporters, attempted destruction of carreers to those who oppose Obama. All orchestrated, all set in motion
with unity at the drop of a hat.
This is organized domestic terrorism.
Obama is a terrorist. And that’s why he sees no problems in hanging out with Ayers. They are kindred spirits.

Sandy, ya know, maybe it’s the Vicodin and a very active imagination, but sometimes I think Obama is part of a larger plan by the right to insure a permanent right wing majority by electing the scariest left wing nut job, and having him take the fall for the economy, Iraq, etc. Then impeach him over stuff like Ayers. If you find yourself writing statements like “Obama is a terrorist”, you need to back off, get some R&R, and up the prescription.
Folks, if this is what happens to you under the pressure of a tough primary season, where you suddenly decide your opponents aren’t just political opponents, don’t just have different ideas that you don’t agree with, but that they are actually “terrorists”, then politics isn’t for you. Some feudal or tribal society where disputes are dealt with violently perhaps, but not a functioning democracy.
Rev. Wright’s labelling of American military actions as “terrorism” has been rightly (and universally) decried on this site. The same should be done to people who take their language like this one gigantic, incendiary leap too far, just like Rev. Wright.

FOX News will turn on us with teeth and claws bared once Senator Clinton gets the nomination, but for right now, I grateful that somebody is covering the Ayers story to some extent. Sean has definitely talked about BO kicking off his state senate campaign at Ayers house, etc. I listen most every night at 9:00. But you’re right, they didn’t go into every detail last night.
I think the mistake Hannity and others are making (though I TOTALLY appreciate coverage of this story) is that it should be couched in the terms of electability. It was briefly touched on by Colmes (the most ineffectual person on TV), but that is the most important aspect of all this.
Could Obama beat a former POW Senator in a General Election with these associations and questionable ties? Obama is getting softballs tossed at him right now, but the Super Delegates and the undecideds who actually CARE if the republicans keep the White House, should ask themselves how this is going to play in the GE???
We cannot CHANCE that Obama would overcome that stuff. We’re getting a sneak preview of what’s to come for him in the media and with the GOP. Thinking people would never vote for him.

After watching this video and this Liz Chadderdon person I think that the Cult has some certain side effects on people, namely their inablity to remember anything at all that may be considered damaging in any way to Obama. It may be a side effect created by Obama’s worship of Ronald I Don’t Recall Reagan. And it filters down through the Collective Cult because it is Obama’s personal disease. It surely explains how Obama with those immense ears was unable to hear his pastor say all those horrible things.

I can tell you a great place to look - based on a history of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge the announcement ceremony was a huge photo-op - Ambassador Annenberg’s daughter handed the mayor of Chicago a poster sized check for $49.2 million, presumably to flashing bulbs and the whir of videocameras.
SO, would the head of the group that led the grant proposal be in a photo with the newly annointed chairman? One might think so. But I can’t find a
photo in the Chi Trib or Sun archives.
The event was Jan 1995 at Washington Irving school in Chicago; maybe a society mag had photos; maybe the Annenberg foundation could be contacted.
