And Obama is only interested in counting votes if they serve him politically, too.

Only Clinton isn't running around claiming she is "different" and "new politics." Obama is a politician, just like all the rest. They try to manipulate scenarios so that they gain more than their opponent does. THEY ARE BOTH DOING THAT. Obama is no sinless saint and he adds bonus hypocrisy to the mix.

The difference between them is that Hillary gains an advantage from doing what is RIGHT: counting votes.

You can't get around the fact that Obama's machinations continue to deny 2.4 million people from participating in their government. Our will expressed with our votes is being ignored by our party to the benefit of Obama. He stands to gain from disenfranchising millions. That is wrong. It was wrong when Bush did it and it's wrong now whan Obama is doing it.

There's also the other matter of what the rule book actually says about how these situations really should be handled. When a state moves it's primary, the "punishment" is supposed to be cutting their seated delegates in half, not stripping them entirely. There were also 3 other states that moved up their primaries with no punishment whatsoever. Obama won two of those states. No one has talked about how those states broke the rules and need to learn their lesson. And you can be damn certain no one is suggesting we throw out their election results and split those delegates equally. He wont those states, just like she won Florida and Michigan, where he willingly took his name off the ballot (knowing the rules he loves so much stated he would lose the his rights to any delegates). He didn't think he did needed those delegates at the time, so he's changing his story now, just like you've accused Clinton of. Same coin, different side.

Disregarding the results and arbitrarily handing out delegates is the antithesis of democracy. It isn't "evil" to gain politically by sticking to democratic principles. That should be how the whole damn system works. When the rules are wrong, like Jim Crow laws, we change them and civil disobedience is a valid method.

Lord, how did we get to a point where Democrats are afraid to count votes and love rules more than justice?

Because that would mean that 2 of the states that Barky won would be disqualified. And we can't have that. It wouldn't fit into dean and brazilles script.

Why are we still discussing this stupid primary and who should the nominee be. Please, please, please Sen Clinton, if you are listening, give the nomination to Sen Obama and run as Independent. We want you to continue fighting for us and deliver us from the radical Obama and Bush clone Mcain. We can do this without the help of the Democratic party. You already have a strong following plus a sure shot on winning Michigan and Florida. You also are assured of the majority of working class white, hispanics and asians (remember CA).

All the luck.

The Michigan/Florida thing is pure desperation. Clinton wouldn't care about MI/FLA if she were ahead.

And regardless it's really not that close. Even if MI/FLA were counted as is, Obama would still be the winner.

It's a non-issue. They'll be seated at the convention.

Go check out her site and her platforms. You can also learn a lot about her from her wikipedia pages and her "Senator Clinton" official page with tons of information on her work in the senate.

Your comments made me laugh and it is true.

You give them hate, they give you love. Which is the more powerful of the two? I cast my lot with love.

Love & Peace, my brother.
