[...] Math that matters most… (by V at No Quarter) Many people are asking. “Why isn’t Hillary leaving the race?” Or, “Isn’t the math prohibitive?” Well, the answer is given quite simply by Karl Rove. Now Karl may be a lot of things, but he is not stupid and he knows politics and elections. Unlike Hillary and her surrogates in the Democratic party, he does not have to say, “either candidate can win the general but Hillary is stronger.” He can tell the unvarnished version which is that Hillary wins against McCain and Barack loses. So it’s simple, a vote for Barack in the primary is tantamount to a vote for McCain in the general. Click through for another study that confirms Rove’s analysis. [...]

The Monte Carlo simulations are just great. I thought of running some, but i am too lazy to gather the data and do it. Moreover, 10,000 simulations give you enough data points and that is showed in solid SEs and a nice 95% CI. Really great job.

I have a feeling if Hillary was on the GoP side, they would have run her with pride and respect. What a disappointment this dem party has been.

Yes it is too bad that MSNBC and CNN are busy blowing Barry. But we expect that to change soon and then we can "rely" on them again to baste Obama handily for the roast.

No. The "new" "Democrats" are doing a spectacular job with no assistance from anyone! Let's give them all of the credit, shall we?

To be honest with you, that could offend many women. You see, plenty of professional women understand the concept of a superior woman being the second-in-command to a mediocre man, holding him up so that he might take the credit. The Obama camp just plain doesn't understand women, and doesn't care to. There is no way I would vote to put him in charge of my country even if my mother were his VP choice.

Yes, my husband and I were joking about it last night. Especially with McCain's campaign pointing out the fatal attractions statement from Obama's surrogates are unbecoming of his lofty rhetoric. They are of course, doing it for their purposes but the irony is that they are defending Clinton when all the cowards in the dem party are staying silent. Lofty rhetoric, my foot. It is gutter politics at its worst.

If you browse the comments to this post, Barack’s trolls seem completely offended and oh-so defensive when presented with the data. Perhaps this is because they don’t have any of their data to show. In fact, I’m still trying to find ONE data based analysis that shows Barack winning or doing better than Hillary in the general election matchup against John McCain. Here’s your chance Obamabots! C’mon, show me the data…

This is key. Where are their numbers? There are none. Even as we speak he is MIA in WV and KY both Bill Clinton carried both times and Hillary is poised to win in big numbers. So take those states off his list for November. It is double whammy for Obama; under normal circumstances, the dem nominee has to work hard for the swing states. In this guy's case, it is even worse because he does not have a big chunk of the dem base itself. Bye, bye swing states and the win.
