The Hell with P.C.: The Republicans Have Obama Nailed with This New Ad

And any Democrat dumb enough to vote for this loser will be rewarded with a John McCain presidency anyway because — fortunately — the majority of Americans aren’t as gullible.

WOW!!! well it has started I say good for the republican party lets see how the Obama camp like those apples, cant say Hillary did not warn them, this is just the beginning of things to come.

The Republicans must own Rasmussen polls because when I checked over there today, this is what I found!

However, while Senator Clinton has remained close and competitive in every meaningful measure, she is a close second and the race is over. It has become clear that Barack Obama will be the Democratic nominee.

At the moment, Senator Clinton’s team is busily trying to convince Superdelegates and pundits that she is more electable than Barack Obama. For reasons discussed in a separate article, it doesn’t matter. Even if every single Superdelegate was convinced that the former First Lady is somewhat more electable than Obama, that is not enough of a reason to deny him the nomination.

With this in mind, Rasmussen Reports will soon end our daily tracking of the Democratic race and focus exclusively on the general election competition between Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama. Barring something totally unforeseen, that is the choice American voters will have before them in November. While we have not firmly decided upon a final day for tracking the Democratic race, it is coming soon.

I used to go over there every day, but I just removed them from my bookmarks. Like I’ve removed MSNBC and CNN from my TV viewing.

Pretty soon you want be reading newspaper, watching ANY TV, etc. All you’ll be doing is checking these delusional blogs for Hill. Kinda of a suspended reality. You guys are like Eviline from the WIZ “Don’t nobody bring me no bad news”. lol lol lol.

Not only have I removed them, I’ve taken myself off of the Michael Moore email list, and will probably cancel my TIME subscription after this week’s cover. DONE WITH ALL OF THESE PEOPLE.

I have officially decided to register as an Independent. I’ve been a registered Democrat for the last 18 years, but am DONE with this party. Of course I can never give my vote to a Republican, but I want them to know that they do not have me. Dean is a piece of crap! As horrible as it’s going to be, I may have a slight smile on my face when McCain is sworn in. Big F U to the biased party leaders. Congrats on another addition to the Mondale, Dukakis, Kerry line-up.

It sure does. I can think of miles of video footage I’ve seen that can easily be spliced together to show his message of change. I think this, changed my mind - now, I think that. Endless opportunities for opposition to clobber him with his own words. JUST words.

It sure does. There are miles of video tape that could bury Obama in his own WORDS. Just Words. He just keeps changing them.

No Shit. This is the stuff they consider “Above the belt”. The stealth stuff will be lethal.

Comment by rachel | 2008-05-09 16:27:47

Seriously those are very legitimate questions that he has been able to escape for the past 16 months. Let’s see how he gets out of all of these. Say hello to a John McCain presidency!

BTW, I want to add that even though McCain is saying he wants the court to overturn Roe vs. Wade, I don’t think that will happen. I think he is just more or less pandering to the conservative base that he needs to win back. He won’t do any such thing.

Comment by Dave | 2008-05-09 17:33:21

How come when Obama says something you don’t like, your reaction is “OMG he’s a traitor he’s gonna destroy the country!!1!!1″

But when McCain says something you don’t like, your reaction is “he didn’t mean it?”

Comment by Strawberrybitch | 2008-05-09 18:01:40

His track record. I’ve been following him for years. He’s a known, known. Obama is what Rummy reffered to as a unknown-known.

Comment by Dave | 2008-05-09 18:21:18

I liked the 2000 version of McCain, when he bucked the mainstream Republicans with his (to them) controversial views on campaign finance reform, pork spending, etc. I voted for him in the primary that year.

But I’m afraid that because he’s now the Republican’s guy for the nomination, he’ll dilute his progressive ideas to kowtow to the Republican party. They guy shared a stage with W., a man he HATES, just to show mainstream Republican voters that he’s in the same boat as W. and his neo-con buddies.

The republicans have ruined this country, and I will not vote republican again until a MAJOR rehaul of their positions takes place.

Be it Hillary or Obama, I’m voting Democrat in ‘08.

//voted for Ron Paul in this primary
///switched to Hillary after Paul dropped out
////recently switched to Obama

Comment by zzzot | 2008-05-09 20:54:44

Comment by gypsy howell | 2008-05-09 13:42:17

We could ask McCain all these questions too - and get some pretty horrifying answers.

BTW, will you be fundraising for republican attack ads now?

Comment by Mary | 2008-05-09 13:45:31

Haven’t decided, Gypsy.

Did YOU fundraise for all the Obama attack ads against Hillary Clinton?

You ain’t seen NUTHIN yet, little darlin.

Comment by gypsy howell | 2008-05-09 13:49:39

Well, for a supposed democrat, you seem pretty excited about the republican attack ads coming our way. I think you’re going to be disappointed when it turns out that Hillary doesn’t support McCain.

Comment by Mr. Music | 2008-05-09 13:55:47

Exactly. I really think these people are out to lunch. Do they care at all about the actual issues? Why would any real Democrat who supported Clinton because of the issues support McCain over Obama? It makes NO logical sense. None.

Comment by Kevin | 2008-05-09 14:03:16

the key word there that’s causing your confusion is “logical”… there is no logic just irrational, emotionally based fear and loathing.

Comment by MessyMarcy | 2008-05-09 14:52:44

You got the fear part right — it’s a sad day when the Democratic Party elders are trying to force the most qualified and more electable candidate out of the race in favor of an untested, unqualified unknown quantity who surrounds himself with criminals and whose lead in delegates has been accomplished by means of thuggery and intimidation.

Comment by zzzot | 2008-05-09 21:09:31

I’ll even take it a step further. When it comes down to this type of irrationality it becomes more about the persons own frailities, failures or biases. It becomes less about Hill, policies, and the Democrats and more about their own selfishness.

Comment by John | 2008-05-09 14:06:08

why would any real democrat support Obama? We will support McCain in droves if Obama is elected as we simply do not like him, his wife or his friends:) Simple enough.

Comment by Kevin | 2008-05-09 14:18:12

That was his point - you’d rather vote for someone who supposedly is the exact opposite of Hillary as far as policy and goals go… just because you dislike Obama so much?

Comment by ces | 2008-05-09 14:58:13

At we have an idea of what McFlightsuit stands for…

Comment by zzzot | 2008-05-09 20:56:45

Yea, the exact opposite of what your gal Hill stands for. Retarded.

Comment by Ryan | 2008-05-11 03:41:52

Absolutely retarded. Lets vote against all our better interests because of…what?

Comment by MessyMarcy | 2008-05-09 14:59:54

No. We’d rather vote for the most qualified candidate — Hillary Clinton. But we will not vote for Obama, who is the least qualified. I don’t like McCain, but should Obama get the Dem nomination I will attempt to mitigate damage by voting for McCain rather than turn the country over to a race-baiting, hate-mongering conman who has surrounded himself with criminals.

Comment by jwrjr | 2008-05-09 15:28:03

Comment by IndayHill | 2008-05-09 16:31:39

you said it right, messy.why turn our beloved country to Obama, who is unpatriotic, undignified, unqualified,& untrue to ALL the values our forefathers died for?
President & Commander-in-chief Hillary Clinton is inevitable!

Comment by Tom | 2008-05-09 15:35:58

Kevin,

What DOES Obama stand for other than himself?

What DO you stand for other than you are in love with Obama?

Why would any real Democrat vote for Obama? he will drag everyone down with him.

Comment by zzzot | 2008-05-09 21:01:27

Kevin I’m with you, but trying to convince these over emotional, self serving Hill supporters, it’s like pissing in the wind. The idea that they would support someone that’s the exact opposite of Hill (although nowadays you can’t tell since she’s become the gun toting, tax cutting, race baiting, right wing conserative Rush would be proud of) is totally ludicrous.

Comment by MessyMarcy | 2008-05-09 15:02:05

What we know, but apparently you trolls do not, is that the more you come here to slander Hillary and insult us, the more determined we are to support her and see that Obama never becomes President. Your actions are self-defeating, but since I would prefer either Clinton or McCain over Obama, please do keep it up.

Comment by gypsy howell | 2008-05-09 15:19:08

What? I’m slandering Hillary because I’m predicting that she’ll be supporting whoever the democratic nominee is in November, rather than McCain?

What are you going to do once SHE starts supporting Obama?

Comment by Tom | 2008-05-09 15:37:30

Comment by S. Markom | 2008-05-09 14:53:04

The Republican attack ads are not coming the Democrats way - they are coming Obama’s way.

If I had a choice between Obama and anyone else who is experienced and responsible, I will choose anyone else. I believe what has been said here. Obama is unqualified. Period. As far as his character - you are measured by the company you keep. In Obama’s case the company he keeps is unsavory.

We are looking at another McGovern and the best we can do is make sure we do better in four years.

Obama is the most unqualified candidate any party has had probably in U.S. history. If we were to list Obama’s accomplishments they would be zero between his national and state offices. I would rather have a John McCain for four years and look for a better candidate in 2012 (a much more accomplished and formidable Hillary).

Just because you have a “(D)” after your name does not automatically qualify you for office.

Comment by Ryan | 2008-05-11 03:48:03

Hillary has shattered any chance she ever had of running for president again. Her repugnant actions in this primary made sure of it.

Comment by Ryan | 2008-05-11 03:55:28

BLACK GUY MIGHT WIN THE PRESIDENCY OVER OUR APPOINTED QUEEN!

LETS ALL ABANDON OUR MORALS, VALUES, VIEWS AND NEEDS TO MAKE SURE HE NEVER GETS ELECTED!

1000’s more dying in Iraq? So what.

Elimination of the middle class? So what.

ETC.

That’s right, even people who voted for somebody get to give their votes to Barky. I think that’s some kind of Affirmative Action thing don’t you?

Comment by Mary | 2008-05-09 20:01:56

Not excited at all, gypsy. But the candidate you support is poorly equipped to deal with what’s coming his way. Too many pillows have been provided.

Did you hear about Obama’s campaign advisor who was secretly meeting with Hamas in Gaza? Obama had to fire him because the international papers reported it yesterday.

He’s really more like Dukakis than McGovern, don’t you think?

When you deny voters the right to vote, you lose the moral high ground to the Republicans. Do you all SIMPLY forget Florida? Jesus Christ!!! And you ask me if I’m a Democrat!?! Who the hell are you to ask me?

Comment by Hope | 2008-05-09 14:45:38

They are the far left wing fringe of loonies that are going to push the country into another Republican presidency because of their ultra-left nutwing ideology that MOST Americans want nothing to do with. You ask if we are Democrats? Are you truly Americans who will vote for someone who has terrorists for friends? What’s wrong with you- you little idiots? Are you the same people who think that 9/11 was a good thing like Rev Wright?

Go take your gyrating mouths over to some other watering hole you dumb herd of mindless mustangs!

I had the same thought- haven’t we and Larry and Susan, ALegre, texas darlin, Linfar and a host of others been asking those very same questions. for MONTHS?
We can all repeat the Obama answer now- “How dare you question ‘The One?’ You are a racist for asking questions.”

For America to embrace Obama, because of his rhetorics which are shallow & empty, is beyond me.Recently, one person was asked why she likes Obama, her dumb answer, “because he is young!” How about Barbara Walters, when Obama was the guest at her show, The Views”, she was so delirious & exclaimed to him:”You are so good-looking!”(no wonder, this woman is a family wrecker, had a secret, illicit affair with a married Black lawmaker for several years!)Isn’t the devil busy nowadays?
Obama will damn America!!Beware!Michelle, his racist wife, did NOT denounce her anti-America pastor! Obama did so FOR POLITICS! HE IS A PHONY!!!I am as bewildered as you, my friend.

It sure seem like there are many tangled webs to unravel to get to the bottom of WHY OBAMA?

I am just an average gal - an artist and a breeder of chickens (really!) So what seems to be coming together from the perspective of this average gal is that there seem to be at least 2 forces at play here. We know that the Repubs hate the Clintons, and I have heard some comments from Hillary to the effect that this administration should be held accountable for the mess they have created.(Sorry, I cannot quote or site where I heard this - just relying on my memory). So GWB and Cheney are probably using some of their resources to make sure Hillary doesn’t have a successful campaign. And I am figuring these guys have a good bit of pull from some of the big money monopolies, right? Thus the reason for the media being so biased, etc. Plus the fact that most of the commentators are idiots anyway.

Then what looks like the second power at play is the DNC itself with their elites, and it appears that Hillary’s candidacy is threatening to rock their boat, too.

All because Obama is a pliable “yes man” and Hillary is really wanting to help Americans. And the people are too blind to see.

Now where all these webs go and who all is involved lies outside of my realm of expertise, and I will leave it up to the experts here to untangle these webs of deceit! I sure hope things come together before it’s too late. Hillary Clinton simply must be our President.

Comment by Melissa | 2008-05-09 21:21:57

I am just a typical old white woman. the best answer I can come up with is that the DNC wants a loser so a Dem doesn’t get saddled with Iraq.
Nothing else makes sense- they absolutely know he is a loser if they give him the nod.

Do you remember 4000 American soldiers dead and another 30,000 injured? Do you remember the economy going down the tubes and the average family making less $ today than they did 8 years ago? Do you remember Bush’s horrible SC justice appointees? For God’s sake. THIS IS NOT A GAME. Wake up!

Never Mind the guy can’t win the damn elction.

Don’t lecture me about the Iraq war. Don’t you dare lecture me about working class people making less $$$ (your guy just through them under the bus, remember?) and don’t you DARE lecture me about the SCOTUS. He thinks he is, see, you ask Cheney, say, why his straussian neocon methods don’t, didn’t work, and he can’t tell you, he’ll deny it, and say ,w ell, we need more troops in Iraq.

But you ask an academic, and strong unbiased one, about proving a negative, which is what Starussian theory is, or does, for many reasons, and he’ll be able to tell you WHY it, and say, Alinsky don’t work.

(Didn’t you do this in college, troll, boy, we did, having to argue and provide a proof of a subjective, the profs encouraging dissension to hammer out the best meaning, meaning never set as new interpretations were always emerging, as they should…)

We used to have leaders the quality of THAT academic. Rove’s and Axel’s methods of cheating have left us with crippled candidates who don’t understand simple abstracts, simple poetry, even.

So, we descend into a third world country, legislators no more capable than say Saddam’s thinking, in terms of the war, and economy.

IS it a 100 year war?

Well, no, you’ve got two sides trying ot prove a negative, so it’s internecine, (I will find the chemical equation that is the corollary, maybe that will help, but again, with this group of half wits, the ability to grasp a philosophical abstract is not an option).

But see this internecine war, born of stupid neocons, and thie Obama counterparts, can be hacked, and worked by people who undersatnd what I just wrote.

Is the country in trouble?

Yes.

Why?

But Mr. Music I thought Hillary started this war, I thought the tenure of Bills presidency wasn’t what the American people wanted, I tought Hillary and Bill never knew the ideas of Civil Rights after all you all have been claiming they are and her supporters are aking to dixiecrats. For months Hillar has been the evil Bit*h and so to her supporters, so why are you here exactly?

Oh Roe v. Wade you think you can bring the little “liberal women” back into the fold? LOL I would vote for McCain in a heartbeat over obama, Hillary over all, but McCain isn’t a rightwing crackhead nor a leftwing crackhead. Did you know obama voted for cheney’s energy bill and Hillary and McCain did not? Did you know that obama lied to iowans claiming he passed legistlation holding the nuclear industry and when they did a little whining and paid him large sums of money he allowed them to rewrite the bill which gave them carte blanche? of course you do, its just he is a man, isn’t it. One thing McCain isn’t and that is a fraud, neither is Hillary, however, obama is the biggest con artist I have seen since bush.

I agree, and I agree with what Mimi wrote the other day. She said something to the effect of “Let other women fight for their reproductive rights, just like her generation had to”. I feel the same way. Women of the 60’s and 70’s fought hard for the rights of other women…and when the first woman candidate for POTUS…the most qualified candidate (regardless of gender) comes along….so many women are supporting the sweet talker instead of the woman? I don’t understand it.

These little boys and girls who are so gaga over snObam — if they get their demands and snObam gets the keys to the white house — when THEY are near retirement — I’ll bet snObam sold Social Security to the highest bidder. And they won’t have health care — and THEY will be living in some sort of authoritarian HELL.

Those of us lucky enough will have fled elsewhere.

However — NEVER COUNT CLINTON OUT!

MADAM PRESIDENT & CiC

Mr Music …..

That was Bush, not the Republicans.

Also, you have NO IDEA of what Obama will and will not do. We have no idea of who owns him…..someone does… probably more than one. His policies are copy and paste. Even his advisors on more than one occasion has said that what he is saying on the trail is not really what he believes, NAFATA….time table for the Iraq war.

look at his choice of friends…associates…and judgment….you want him appointing justices?

His relationship with Auchi… doesn’t concern you?

When has his rhetoric matched his actions?

What is one real accomplishment?

He can’t stand up under the pressure of campaigning and questioning, how can this child be President.

McCain is not Bush … his votes for justices have been fairly liberal.

Oh by the way… the tuff votes on abortion is when Obama voted present … so what does he really believe?

This race if between Obama and McCain… is NOT a Democrat versus Republican…. it is Obama versus Republicans …. cos Obama certainly doesn’t represent the Democratic Values.

The last time I checked…..it was an American and Democratic value to let people vote…have their votes be counted and not use aggressive behavior…..three strikes against Obama.

We are much safer (and it isn’t actually comforting) with McCain than with Obama.

At least with McCain, we know we have someone who values this country. Obama and his wife… ummmmm….who knows.

Oh believe me we don’t think it’s a game either. We are dead serious. And if you are here to influence any one of us you are doing a piss poor job of it. But that’s expected given the arrogance and insults we are now impervious to.

You need us and you can’t have us. Can you guess why?

Uppity you surely speak for me as well! Thanks!

You are right THIS IS NOT A GAME - WAKE THE F#$% UP Yourself! Get off whatever you are smoking, open your eyes and look at Obama and company.
We are as serious as cancer! The man is an unknown with extremely questionable associates and We. ARE. NOT. voting for him, EVER!
We love this country and have no wish to see her self destruct by voting for a candidate who spent 20 years listening to Wright’s black liberation garbage. A candidate who worked for a terrorist for 8 years, who aided and abetted Rezko in his slumlord rat infested buildings.
Oh and thanks anyway, I don’t want to pay his Global tax. Why aid and abet foreign people who teach their children to hate America- we have that right here in America, in Obama’s church.
