A Stunning Display

“I don’t want Bush-Cheney lite,” he told reporters yesterday. “I want a fundamental change.”
Sen. Barack Obama, NYT, July 26, 2007 referring to Sen. Hillary Clinton. Oh, really? Let’s explore this a bit as we stroll down memory lane…
I‘m sure many of you recall the NYT Magazine article by Ron Suskind, excerpted from his book, “The Price of Loyalty:
George W. Bush, the White House and Paul O’Neill.” One passage in particular that I remember is President George W. Bush’s confusion of Sweden and Switzerland in regards to a standing army and neutrality. Here is the passage:
In the Oval Office in December 2002, the president met with a few ranking senators and members of the House, both Republicans and Democrats. In those days, there were high hopes that the United States-sponsored ”road map” for the Israelis and Palestinians would be a pathway to peace, and the discussion that wintry day was, in part, about countries providing peacekeeping forces in the region. The problem, everyone agreed, was that a number of European countries, like France and Germany, had armies that were not trusted by either the Israelis or Palestinians.
One congressman — the Hungarian-born Tom Lantos, a Democrat from California and the only Holocaust survivor in Congress — mentioned that the Scandinavian countries were viewed more positively. Lantos went on to describe for the president how the Swedish Army might be an ideal candidate to anchor a small peacekeeping force on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Sweden has a well-trained force of about 25,000. The president looked at him appraisingly, several people in the room recall. ”I don’t know why you’re talking about Sweden,” Bush said. ”They’re the neutral one. They don’t have an army.”
Lantos paused, a little shocked, and offered a gentlemanly reply: ”Mr. President, you may have thought that I said Switzerland. They’re the ones that are historically neutral, without an army.” Then Lantos mentioned, in a gracious aside, that the Swiss do have a tough national guard to protect the country in the event of invasion.
Bush held to his view. ”No, no, it’s Sweden that has no army.” [end]
A few weeks later, GWB admitted that Rep. Lantos was right. However, this stunning display of ignorance and dare I say - arrogance came across my mind when Larry recently mentioned that Sen. Obama had mistakenly said that Arabic is the language of Afghanistan.
LJ states
“Barack’s ignorance of critical foreign policy issues will be exploited. His latest Obamaism claiming that “Arabic” translators are needed in Afghanistan is inexcusable for someone who wants to be Commander-in-Chief in the war on terror. The languages of Afghanistan are Pashto and Dari Persian.”
A serious gaffe but I must admit that I am no longer surprised by our all too compliant press corps/media when it comes to calling out their darling - the Chosen One during the Dem primary. Republicans will not be so sparing. Sen. Obama chairs the subcommittee on Europe, which has not convened a single meeting since he became chair. NATO, which is participating in Afghanistan would be under these auspices. Joe Conason summarized this observation, first brought to our attention by the intrepid Steve Clemons, and was elaborated upon here at No Quarter. not to mention a brilliant piece by NQ fave Joe Wilson.
The lack of curiousity by Sen. Obama in affairs domestic and foreign that are pressing and urgent is all too reminiscent of one who has led our country down a disastrous path. You would be far better served Sen. Obama, by at least reading and studying foreign and domestic affairs, as opposed to regurgitating Malcolm X speeches. Sen. Obama has stated that he has has been too busy campaigning to convene a meeting since he was appointed chair. Wes Clark testified in the Hague against Milosevic in Dec. of 2003, in the midst of a presidential bid. Somehow, Gen. Clark managed to make the time. It wasn’t a politically beneficial move for Clark - GWB imposed a press blackout on it and it was a closed court room. Hell, if you would have at least read The Kite Runner you would have known Arabic is not the language of Afghanistan. We truly deserve better from someone who wishes to lead this country. Which is why this voter supports supports Hillary Clinton.

LJ, You are absolutely right. If Hillary Loos, I will not vote for Obama,He sais, tha He will bring Our bouys and girls form Iraq in 4 years, McCain said , that We can win”war ” in Iraq in 2013, so it basicly the same. 2009-2013 =4 years. I didn believe that Obama will do anything, but I believe, that OUR country wiil be a heaven to Musli radical Muslim, supported by bloody junta from Kenia!!!
Here’s a surprise: the Emperor has no clothes; the Messiah has clay feet.
This stupid idiot voted for Chenney energy bill. And he got the nerve to say he doesn’t have Bush-Chenney lite.
Oh purleaase, try looking at yourself in a mirror someday Barack.!
Barack Obama is the pastor mimicking, Democratic version of George Bush
It is Barack Obama who best represents the Democratic version of Bush/Cheney lite. I had a good chuckle at Barack’s expense.
My first gut reaction: if he doesn’t want bush/cheney lite, then why is he running? Obama’s campaign uses several of the worst characteristics of bush/cheney/rove campaigning.
Cheney-lite? This jerk voted for Cheney’s Energy Program WHEN EVERYONE KNEW that anything out of Cheney’s office and energy was the biggest fraud you can imagine.
And BO’s claim to fame is judgment.
I. Don’t. Think. So.
Well, the Wright debacle and the Rezko friendship proved he didn’t have much in that department.
Are you sure Obama studied in Harvard? How about 50 states instead of 57 states, BO. He must have been absent again.
Yes, he graduated in the top 25% of his law school class. He interviewed for head of Law Review–it is used to be awarded to the top student, but the requirements have changed.
I hope he didn’t apply for affirmative-action admission since he was raised by whites in Hawaii. His family was fairly well off. His mother may have gotten food stamps after his Kenyan exchange-student father left to attend Harvard (he already had a wife and children and didn’t stay around for his second family), although the white grandmother Obama threw under the bus was one of the first women to be bank VP in Honolulu. His white grandfather seems like a wonderful surrogate father.
As I was reading this the Monty Python “Twit of the Year” skit popped into my head.
Makes you wonder, huh?
I think OBAMA WAS PRESENT AT HARVARD….whatever that means….
He never wrote for the Law Review….Which is pretty strange for an editor…
and we don’t hear many stories from his pals at school….Hmmm….
Has anyone verified he actually went to Harvard?
We Have Michelle Obama’s thesis. Do we have anything Mr. Obama wrote while studying?
[firefox, no link. What in the world is happening to comments? I’ve lost a number of them in the past few hours. Apologies for the repeat if three on the same subject appear right here; troubleshooting problem]
Do we have anything Mr. Obama wrote while studying?
Not for want of spending time looking, I can assure you. Very similar to his senate records.
He did not write anything for the HLR so go figure.
“I want a fundamental change.”
Revolution?…
Great points Taters!
it’s weird. I could never run for President. Hundreds of people from my past would pop up - good and bad! And I’m Barack’s age. Why is about 15 years of his life so hazy?
Quick quotes from OBAMA: The Postmodern Coup, Webster Griffin Tarpley, 2008 (He goes into the significance of this in great depth. It’s worth mentioning the Ford Foundation and the fact that Zbig is not the apex of the pyramid.)
“In the case of Obama, the exposure of the prospective future candidate to systematic training, indoctrination, and ideological formation, … appears to have been going on for many, many years.
“…there is good reason to believe that Obama was identified and recruited by Brzezinski at Columbia University between 1981 and 1983, at a time when Obama was studying politics with a specialty in international relations and a thesis topic involving Soviet nuclear disarmament — a topic which has Brzezinski written all over it.
“Obama…has proven to be extraordinarily secretive about his years at Columbia, refusing to help a New York Times reporter with any information about his courses, professors, activities, or friends. What is Obama hiding? Why the obsessive secrecy about this point and so much openness about other things that might at first glance appear much more damaging? The answer may well be that it was at Columbia University between 1981 and 1983 that Obama was recruited by the Brzezinski machine, be it through direct personal contact with Zbigniew Brzezinski, or through his relations with professors in Brzezinski’s orbit.
“…if the hypothesis ventured here should prove to be true, it would mean that Obama has been undergoing indoctrination from the Brzezinski intelligence faction and its allies for approximately a quarter century…”
I really must read this book. But I have to say as someone familiar with Columbia U, his unwillingness to discuss these years sounded suspicious to me from the start. It simply does not make any sense. And I’ll go you one better, I think he was recruited before he got to Columbia, that’s why he transfered.
You can down load this book from Lulu.com for only $5.00 And it was a great read and well worth the money. Unfortunately you won’t be doing anything else this weekend because you will be totally engaged in the book. Everything I checked up on, checked out. It gives some really great insights.
One thing is sure, he had to be vetted by the power structure. No one gets in unless they’re on the “take”.
Unfortunately, this is true with EVERYONE in politics.
But some “takes” are more evil than others, and international tomfoolery, is one of the worst. As it’s no longer about this country’s citizens calling the shots, but international power brokers.
BTW, to tie in on your message: Remember Sam Nunn signed on for Obama. And guess what his post-politics work was about? Nuclear Disarmament.
Ties that binds?
When you start investigating his past, you keep coming in contact with Pakistanis friends and Muslim roommates in NY and Occidental. Visits to Pakistan, and you don’t run into any women??? Two guys walking a dog on the upper W. side…There is one guy, a Pakistani named Siddiqi, who knew Obama in Occidental and who knew him at Columbia. He is described as a druggie who went with Obama to Pakistan. His roommate in Occidental was a Pakistani (muslim?), Imad Husain. I just have to wonder about his acquaintences. Alot of guys…where are the girls? I have gay guy friends and straight guy friends. Obama’s experiences most parallel the gay friends. One noted he was known for wearing puka bead necklaces and really short shorts. How many of your straight friends are known for that fashion statements in the early eighties? And the upper W side had a lot of gays back then. I am not saying being gay is bad, (I am gay and I know of what I speak) but it is a real problem if he is a closeted gay man trying to be President who has a thing for Pakistani Muslim men. Talk about a ticking bomb! This, to me accounts for his personality problems. His attempts to fit in. TO deny so much of himself. Both the white part and the “gay” part. His hope and change. His McGlurkin tour, the gay guy who changed. The refusal to be photographed with Gavin Newsome. Maybe Obama is hoping he has changed too.
Thanks, Taters, Great article!
An editor that doesn’t write. Is he the freakin’ opposite of everything he sez he is? Why, YES!!! But he’s right on the money with the Republican tactic of “If we say it is true, than it is true. Do not bother to spout off your so-called FACTS. We do not pay attention to them!”
Sounds like lots of “Democrats” these days. Everything is upside down. But we can hang - we are tough, we are smart, and we are ready to fight this to the BITTER end!
Thanks Hillary is Inevitable!
Hillary Clinton was brilliant in her Town Hall meeting in Oregon. She answered questions beautifully and her knowledge is very deep. She has a wealth of reasoning and a love of policy and country to bring to the table.
For equal time, Barry will have a “rock star” rally with he Axelrod campaign them of Hope+Change(TM). Take a chance on your own aspirations.
Although I don’t begrudge Barry his rock-star fame, I wish he’d read the speeches as sermons on the evangelical circuit and leave politics to those who care about people and politics, not sheer ego.
This is a real country at stake. Being bored in the Senate after one year does not confidence inspire. And this popular ad campaign with the compliance of the Republican media along with the Democratic Party power struggle (get the Clintons out and someone we can control in) will do a great disservice to the citizens of the United States. We aren’t being denied a Kerry if Obama is the nominee (and Mccain wins handily)– we have a potentially extraordinary President in Hillary Clinton. She could beat McCain.
It’s our country, and we care about even what is left of it after 8 years of Bush. Two empty suits in a row would be devastating.
Well said CB and thanks for the update.
Ha! The station offered HRC 30 minutes and Obama 30 minutes, and he turned it down. Clinton says he refuses to be seen near her.
So they gave Clinton the full hour!
Ego, thy name is Barack!
“Being bored in the Senate after one year does not confidence inspire”
If by some freaking nightmare happens and barky gets elected we will only have to endure 1 year of it since he gets bored so easily. He’ll move on to running for Pope.
OKAY….YOU GUYS HAVE GOTTA QUIT WITH THE POPE….chuckle….
My stomache cannot handle it…I don’t know whether to laugh or throw up !…..
Now does the gray smoke mean he is the new pope or they are using Uppitys hope bong.
Well I just did a check on my Malachy prophesy….Next Pope is the last guy and he is Peter of Rome…So Barry is out !…..He wll have to run for Dali Lama when that gig is available….
TSAR? AYATOLLAH?
I think they’ll be looking for a new guy in Cuba, right? He likes islands ….
New from the Vadican & Pope Barry the I
Hope on a Rope.
When the hope runs out you can hang yourself with the rope.
It’s the gift that keeps on giving.
Scott you are a mischevious imp….Jeeezus mary and joseph….
It’s not like the RCC does not have her hands full already….Besides Barry would not look good in the papal drag…
BARRY WILL HAVE TO SETTLE FOR DALI LAMA….and saffron
He would look DYNOMITE in the freaking red shoes that the Pope loves!
A few weeks of that and he’ll be elbowing God out of the way.
too bad MSM is behaving like B.O. is our candidate.
They’ve gone from bashing HRC to pretending she does not exist.
Fox too?
It will be pretty hard to ignore a 40 pt win in KY and a small win in OR (seen the latest polls Hill is behind by 5). I’m not saying they wont try but I don’t think they can. Barky hasn’t won anything but NC in a long time.
Barky has a plan for Kentucky. He learned form his mistake in West Virginia of having Edwards endorse him after the voting.
Monday he plans to exhume the body of Daniel Boone or Davey Crockett and have the corpse endorse him in an attempt to mitigate Hillary’s lead.
Obama could have a couple of “re-enactors” playing the part of Boone and Crockett. He could tell his adoring Obomatons that he “raised them from the dead” and they’d believe him! The MSM would comment on how good Crockett and Boone looked next to Obama.
OMG! CB, I love what you just wrote. This is serious! Our great country is at stake! Just listened to Hillary’s call with Bloggers. She is in it to win it! What a gracious and completely brilliant woman she is with the best interest of the people of our country at heart! Go Hillary!
Barack Obama, Fluffer in Chief?
As for Larry’s assertion that a nukular moment for Michelle’s mouth lies in the near future, you have to remember that he was hearing of the news heading into a weekend.
You only put out bad news to your side on a document dump day like Friday.
If it helps you and hurts the opponent, you let Monday’s headlines become that item.
What was that Feith said about ad campaigns? “From a marketing point of view, you don’t introduce new products in August.”
August is a month of Fridays for the neocons.
The October Surprise could come well before then, they need a shot in the arm for fundraising. Obama’s been so good for it helping the GOP that Rove has Bush address the Democrats directly with talking points aimed at Obama policy. That’s right, Obama may actually help AWOL salvage some shred of support to keep his threadbare legacy intact.
Meanwhile the DNC is rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic of a ship that just got its pants handed to it in middle America, by forty points. He hasn’t capsized yet, but he’s taking on a lot of water.
Hillary and her pantsuits, including the ones Obama was wearing in West Virginia. Doesn’t that woman know her place?
Mr.Murder… just live Hillary alone, get to another subject and stay there…
Tis snark. MM is a longtime regular here and beloved, dare I say.
Mr Murder was it Andy Card or the stovepipe fitter Feith?
One question about BO, does he use body doubles for the church scenes?
It was Andy Card who made the remark that “from a marketing point of view you don’t introduce new products in August”. Of course, the dandy new product he was talking about was a war. It still astounds me that the media yawned at this. It shows just how corporatized our world view has become. We say we stand for democracy but it is really capitalism that we fight and die for. Not that I think capitalism is evil, it just should not be an end in itself and should only be promoted when it is serves democracy. This administration has given us many examples of situations in which it does not, such as the privatization of critical military - and now intelligence - functions. Check out this interview on the topic by Terry Gross. I’d like to hear Larry’s take on this.
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=90411856
Off topic, but… I saw the McLaughlin show on PBS last night and he pointed out the craziness of the way delegates are assigned in the Dem party. Obama has more but since they are from small states, they actually represent fewer people. Pat Buchanan said Obama would be losing if it were the Republican party. (Of course that would also be true with their winner take all system, but I do not favor that because candidates do not campaign in states where there is not competition. I would like to see all states adopt a proportional system for electoral college delegates, too.)
Whatever the outcome of the primaries, we need to fight this undemocratic system. I understand the need to give small states some more weight but this system is ridiculous. Just by letting small states go first in the primaries we give them the chance to eliminate candidates before the rest of us even get a chance to vote! Then the Dems give them even more clout. At the very least, caucuses need to go or just be symbolic and we need to have some kind of rotating primary system.
Check out the show. It airs in my market several times over the weekend.
Also this interview with Gore about his book “The Assault on Reason” is very interesting, too.

Larry, you say we deserve better “from someone who wishes to lead this country.” I don’t think Obama wishes to lead the country. He just wishes to be President. There’s a difference, but he doesn’t understand or even care about that.
I wish that he would disappear from the political landscape completely.
I hope I get my wish. I strongly hope he doesn’t get his.
so saddened
I am completely flattered that you take me
for Larry. Great post!
sorry taters, i always forget to read the author’s name, which is a very, very, very bad thing to do.
much applause for a terrific article.
No apologies required to me, maybe to larry - lol! he’s better looking, taller and has more money..;)
Thank you very much for the kind words, so saddened.
If you listen to carefully to candidates or examine their histories you can tell which ones are motivated more by personal reasons and those whose focus is on the country’s best interests. Bush was clearly motivated by a need to prove himself superior to his daddy. His language is very much about me, my, our, etc. and his ego is center stage. If you listen to Obama or read his books, the same pattern is evident. Even when he denounced Wright, he spoke about “me”, “my campaign” “who I am”, etc. not about how Wright had insulted the American people.
I have read that Obama has some kind of magical belief in his ability to unite the races just because he is biracial. He apparently sees himself as a living symbol and like Bush seems to think that symbols alone have the power to change the world. Bush thinks that God is on his side and therefore he has only to will things to make them happen. Both men are magical thinkers, a stage that should have been outgrown in childhood. (Unfortunately so are our media people which is why they fall for such delusional thinking.) Both are motivated more by their own personal search for identity, validation, etc. rather than the problems of the world around them. Both are nursing long held grudges and anger against society. Both see themselves as more qualified than people with much more knowledge and experience. Obama is even said to be stubborn like Bush, shunning advice of more experienced people.
I wonder what it will take to get our media and political leaders to wake up and stop repeating the same disastrous mistakes over and over again. To promote someone who is just out to boost their own ego as a good choice for most powerful person in the world is insane. Maybe we need to start a Reality Based Party to fight this.
Quoting So Saddened
…………………
Then he has something else, besides inexperience, in common with Chicken George. I think Bush has illustrated for 8 long years that he wanted the title & the power. He did not want the job.
After the “decider” do we really believe that there is such a thing as the “hoper?” or “changer?” and do we want what he is peddling?
The same was said about Bush. He was in it for the contest. A way of proving himself a better man. Why do you think he went on vacation?
Taters,
Sen.Webb will be on this week’s Parade cover, talking about leadership.
It would be nice to have you accompany this story with an article to boost attention to the site here and reinforce some of the things he has to say also.
Sen. Webb’s op-eds have been keepers to this point. He has the kind of gravitas that could nullify any attempt to trump him on security items when McCain tries to do that in the election. Webb’s insight for economic concerns can even surpass that of John Edwards.
As he increases his national exposure it is time we help him gain this visibility, if for no other reason to elevate his voice to address policy.
Hiya Mr. Murder,
I heard Sen. Webb on NPR today. He was great. He also said he would serve us all better as a senator as opposed to a VP.
You mean like this one?
http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/text-sen-jim-webbs-response/story.aspx?guid={ED76BA44-B22A-4D30-AE37-93ADD5B0A6D8}
He was nice to Hillary and made it a point of mentioning her when Siegel ignored Hillary and was only speaking of Obama.
Edwards is not interested in being VP either, I hope he’s more not interested than Sen.Webb, to be honest. We’re Edwards fans too, but he decided to take a different political path of recent.
“Not interested” is code for “will respectfully consider” from what I can determine these days.
Agree. However, I am so disappointed in John Edwards and disgusted by the dirty trick of endorsing Obama at this late date. He should have remained neutral. I think anyone who has decided on a life outside of running for office, that concerns an important issue like poverty…should stay neutral. I will not be keen to sign up for any plan of action urged by John Edwards.
Rember, Axelrod was with Edwards on one of his campaigns. Did he owe Axelrod or did Axelrod have something on Edwards? It was not the most enthusiastic endorsement I have ever seen.
Posted On Taylor Marsh today.
A Conversation of Heart
It was just between Hillary Clinton and bloggers who have her back.
I taped it for all of you so you could hear it for yourself.
Peter Daou introduces the call, which included bloggers who support Clinton, especially on getting the votes counted in Michigan and Florida. But invitations had absolutely nothing to do with blog clout or traffic. It was about talking to and thanking people, because we’re all in this together. Clinton’s appreciation is evident in every word exchanged. It reminds me of seeing her at the women’s generation event in D.C. last week. When she came over, saw me, took my hands, then said, “Thank you. Thank you.” That was the tone and message of the call from Clinton.

Excellent! Glad to hear that her voter lead is finally being acknowledged.
I would love to see the town hall meeting.
Thanks for the link, blobert. Yeah, Alegre!
Rove may be trying to help Obama by having Dubya attacking him. Rove is good at exploiting odium. And he knows what Bush is good for. I think he and Cheney send him overseas on his little junkets to piss people off - and humiliate them by forcing them to play along with the Big Charade.
But Obama and Bush?
I agree with Mr Murder, particularly given the event in Israel, yesterday, and the democratic elite reaction, (out of touch hypocrites)
Obama made Bush look Presidential.
Not an easy thing, but they’re so out of touch, they dont see it.
Perception is reality?
Whose?
Actually Obama’s reaction was worse — why assume Bush was talking about you? It backfired when Bush people came back and said he had Carter in mind when he said that. It makes Obama look defensive about his strategy — OTOH tell me when he has not looked defensive.
Tell me when he hasn’t looked foolish!
To tell the truth, I thought Carter first, too.
Obama wanted to jump the gun and use it like a race card — “See he’s picking on poor Black me!”
It looked foolish, more so than Bush addressing home politics from a foreign country (it’s as bad as Bill Clinton protesting the Vietnam war in the UK).
Hope the USS Liberty vets skin him again, too. >:(
Today, if I heard it right, BO responded to Bushes insults by by responding in kind, calling McCain a lier, saying he will debate Bush and McCain anytime anywhere, but he is afraid of being seen in the same room with Senator Clinton.
That says it all.
At the moment I am amazed and very concerned about the way BO chose to respond. Making the insult all about him.
Bush did it just to sucker him and he took the bait like a 15 pound Bass…That Bush choose to say this in the Knesset is not lost on some of us.
BO is incapapble of raising the diologue out the mud.
As a bonus the whole world gets to see an idiot exchanging insults with an idiot.
Great example of grace in action.
I know…imagine Barry willing to debate a sitting POTUS…WTF ?
Is he just stupid or what….GWB isn’t running or has anyone told Barry ?
He’s too scared to debate Clinton….He thinks McCain is easy…especially on Foreign Policy ?…..I guess McCain has never had a debate before….
Did he flip them off, though?
Obama is tough guy, right, I mean, he postures, and he preens, he just never DOES anything.
Good god, Obama making Bush look good, how sad.
LOL. BO makes Bush looks like a Rhode scholar. bawahahahaha.
57 states vs Potatoe. LOL
I can’t stop laughing at myself.
The same here, he couldn’t resist the urge to wallow to Bush’s level. Not afraid of Bush, but will not debate Hillary?
Doesn’t say much for the candidate.
Barack- ‘all about me’ and TWK nails it.
He has to steal the limelight, and reframe it around his only power — the race card. The subliminal message in his outburst [to the Black community — and folks his speeches as tailored to them] was: “See, he’s picking on poor Black me”.
Obama’s out of touch, as he’s not addressing issues to the all America, he’s addressing it to that Black block vote (who’d careless about the Middle East anyway). He has to keep them whipped up of the Sandman, much like Zionists against Palestinians, to keep resolutions from occurring, and making a permanent victim class.
Victim classes become special+equal, and don’t even have to have the same responsibilities (but, ah, leadership to dictate policy, though).
Scams all around.
I think it’s about time we voted for presidents with breasts. After all, we’ve been voting for boobs long enough.
LOL…Priceless harp….and with that chuckle I’ll end my session on a high note….thanks…
Cheney has boobs, what do you mean?
harp, you made me spit out my corona. and i love corona!
you’re oh so right about the boobs/breasts.
Please consider checking out Steve Corbett’s radio show and campaign, Operation Turndown on http://www.wilknetwork.com in PA. (WILK-FM)
I listened today. The support is incredible as some others have reported. We need a critical mass.
I live in NEPA and Hillary took this region by storm and the radio shows have been largely anti-obama for a year now. They know the facts, as we all do about his past and have educated the voters on them. Moreso this is repeating across the nation at small independent local TV newsstations, radio shows and small town newspapers across the nation. The party elders might be lemmings for NBC and obama drivel but the people of small town america, those bitter clinging fools, are more armed with FACTS than the Superdelegates and big city bandwagon party toads for hope are.
Although the mass media has fallen off the cliff and are long in the tank the little guys, as always, are putting up a hell of a fight and winning the war with truth!
Nothing better to do at work but think up Tee-shirt slogans. Yes, I know OT.
First off:
Rock Obama with a John McCain
Next:
Dont get mad, get McCain (elected)
Last, a photoshop idea unless some body did it. Take Obama’s logo and put that red circle with the diagonal bar bisecting it on top.
I’m in it for Clinton.
Amen moose-14.
Uhhh, guys, these are for when the Democrat leadership gyps Hillary out of the nomination.
