I now have it from twothree four sources (three who are close to senior Republicans) that there is video dynamite–Michelle Obama railing against “whitey” at Jeremiah Wright’s church. Republicans may have a lousy record when it comes to the economy and the management of the war in Iraq, but they are hell on wheels when it comes to opposition research. Someone took the chance and started reviewing the recordings from services at Jeremiah Wright’s United Church of Christ. Holy smoke!! I am told there is a clip that is being held for the fall to drop at the appropriate time. The last thing Barack and Michelle need is a new clip that raises further questions about her judgment and temperament. Here’s what the Republicans are currently using in Tennessee:
When the ugly video tapes about Jeremiah Wright’s racist ravings first broke Barack Obama told us he could no more disown Jeremiah Wright than his own Grandmother. Well, we all know how that turned out. So will Barack stand by Michelle when the tape emerges of her verbally attacking “whitey?” Republicans, who are otherwise gloomy about prospects in November, recognize that this recording will create real problems for Barack and give them a shot at the White House. It is their October surprise.
Does Barack have an obligation to tell the Democrats, super delegates in particular, about this tape? Did Barack and his campaign do their basic homework and identify this tape as a potential problem? And, more importantly, do they have a copy? Probably better to deal with this issue before the convention rather than wait for October. What do you think?

You’re 100% correct. Republian leaders don’t want McCain to face Clinton in a general election because her record & qualifications are such that McCain would lose to her. Not so with Obama. Hillary’s campaign manager, Terry McAuliffe said himself that the “Republican-owned & controlled” Fox News has been more favorable to Hillary than any other news outlet. He actually thanked them for their “fair & balanced” coverage. I think what’s going on here is that Obama is the darling of the liberally-biased mainstream media, e.g. CNN. I have people very close to me who work at CNN, and they tell me that there is a strong, institutional bias towards Obama. They want him to be the next President, not Hillary or McCain. But you can bet they would take Hillary over McCain if they had to choose.

Man, are you right about that! I was listening to Alex Bennett on Syrius Left today, and he made this SAME point. An Obama supporter called in and complained about what he was saying–accused Alex of giving Hillary a “free ride”. Alex pointed out that he had been hard on Hillary, too, but that all the race business had been totally concocted by the Obama people. As Bennett pointed out, Obama was desparate before the South Carolina primary because Hillary was polling BETTER with blacks than Obama was. So what did Obama and his surrogates do? Why, they cried “racist” at EVERY SINGLE THING coming out of the Clinton campaign! And of course, the idiot media played right along! To this day, I will NEVER understand what was wrong with Hillary talking about the role that LBJ played in civil rights. Even MLK recognized this, and it galled me no end when the Obama campaign tried to make Hillary into a racist for merely reflecting on some of the other players in the civil rights movement besides MLK!
Interestingly, Alex Bennett said that the Obama-bots had been calling him right and left and accusing him of being a “right winger” with many even calling Alex a “racist” for not bowing down and kissing Obama’s ring. He complained about this, too–he said that the extreme lefties were just as hateful and destructive as the right wingers. On that point, I totally AGREE with Alex–authoritarianism is bad, whether it comes from the right or the left! Sadly, from what I have seen thus far, there are a lot of authoritarian types associated with the Obama campaign, and I’ve seen little out of “The One” to indicate to me that he has tried to rein these people in. The crowd in Michigan that booed John Edwards for saying nice things about Hillary is a perfect example of this. Over half the crowd were booing, and if Obama had exhibited any sort of positive leadership, that would not be occurring to such a great degree.

Last week I heard on Fox News that Hillary has what they called a nuclear option — something on Obama so devastating that it would bring down his candidacy. I read that the reason that Hillary was continuing her race for the Presidency is because she and Bill know something about Obama which would make him a dangerous person to have as President. I notice Michelle Obama did not campaign in WV. If she did, I imagine 80% and not 52% of voters in that state would think he shares the views of Reverend Wright.
Fox must have it, and is holding it until he is the nominee. They want him as nominee. O’Reilly said already on the air that he has all kinds of damaging stuff from Chicago. Probably Rezco related, and more. This is probably one of many examples.
How can we get this out before he is crowned?
Contact O’Reilly and Hannity and tell them it is their patriotic duty. Ask them “Do you really want to wait until October and roll the dice with our nation’s future?” There is no guarantee McCain beats Obama. Do they want to take that chance?

Then Americans would elect anybody….If it means stability and it’s american….Look how many of us here….Committed lifelong democrats and independents who are reacting to the fascism we see already….And many of us are saying we would vote for McCain if it would prevent Obama from getting the POTUS…Not because he is AA but because he is what many of us perceive as a danger to US.

You’re 100% correct. Republian leaders don’t want McCain to face Clinton in a general election because her record & qualifications are such that McCain would lose to her. Not so with Obama. If Obama became the nominee, the media would turn on him with the same tactics it’s been using on Clinton, and he’d lose easily.

Hillary’s campaign manager, Terry McAuliffe said himself that the “Republican-owned & controlled” Fox News has been more favorable to Hillary than any other news outlet. He actually thanked them for their “fair & balanced” coverage. I think what’s going on here is that Obama is the darling of the liberally-biased mainstream media, e.g. CNN. I have people very close to me who work at CNN, and they tell me that there is a strong, institutional bias towards Obama. They want him to be the next President, not Hillary or McCain. But you can bet they would take Hillary over McCain if they had to choose.

Man, are you right about that! I was listening to Alex Bennett on Syrius Left today, and he made this SAME point. An Obama supporter called in and complained about what he was saying–accused Alex of giving Hillary a “free ride”. Alex pointed out that he had been hard on Hillary, too, but that all the race business had been totally concocted by the Obama people. As Bennett pointed out, Obama was desparate before the South Carolina primary because Hillary was polling BETTER with blacks than Obama was. So what did Obama and his surrogates do? Why, they cried “racist” at EVERY SINGLE THING coming out of the Clinton campaign! And of course, the idiot media played right along! To this day, I will NEVER understand what was wrong with Hillary talking about the role that LBJ played in civil rights. Even MLK recognized this, and it galled me no end when the Obama campaign tried to make Hillary into a racist for merely reflecting on some of the other players in the civil rights movement besides MLK!
Interestingly, Alex Bennett said that the Obama-bots had been calling him right and left and accusing him of being a “right winger” with many even calling Alex a “racist” for not bowing down and kissing Obama’s ring. He complained about this, too–he said that the extreme lefties were just as hateful and destructive as the right wingers. On that point, I totally AGREE with Alex–authoritarianism is bad, whether it comes from the right or the left! Sadly, from what I have seen thus far, there are a lot of authoritarian types associated with the Obama campaign, and I’ve seen little out of “The One” to indicate to me that he has tried to rein these people in. The crowd in Michigan that booed John Edwards for saying nice things about Hillary is a perfect example of this. Over half the crowd were booing, and if Obama had exhibited any sort of positive leadership, that would not be occurring to such a great degree.

I read that the reason that Hillary was continuing her race for the Presidency is because she and Bill know something about Obama which would make him a dangerous person to have as President.
