Democrats Defecting
By TexasDarlin on May 27, 2008 at 9:15 PM in Clinton, Current Affairs, DNC, Democrats, Disenfranchisement, Hillary Clinton, Howard Dean, Obama, Popular Vote, Superdelegates
My blog received a wave of comments and emails from “Hillary Democrats” over Memorial Day weekend, mostly in response to guest posts by two readers who separately contacted me and wanted to share their thoughts about their growing dissatisfaction with the Democratic Party: sumuchtusay and deppdogg.
What the party elite and “superdelegates” must realize — before it’s too late — is that this disenfranchisement with the Democratic Party is not an isolated occurrence among a tiny minority of bloggers. These are everyday Democrats, most of whom are just casual visitors to political websites. They are mostly women, although many men have written too, and they have been the foundation of the party for decades. Many of them were Reagan Democrats re-captured by Bill Clinton. Almost all consider themselves “lifelong Dems.”
Anyone who’s paying attention will understand that we’re witnessing an extraordinary movement, one which could lead to the creation of a structured third party or a significant population of former Democrats registered as “independent.” It is already underway. Visit any political website and you’ll find similar comments.
With that introduction — this post continues the presentation of contributions from readers, a series which will be ongoing so long as people send me their thoughts.
From the people:
I too will not be voting for Obama if he is the nominee. The democrats haven’t learned their lesson yet. You cannot win a general election unless you can appeal to main stream Americans. Donna Brazile seems to think that Obama can win with the Black vote, college kids, and far left liberals. I will be laughing in November when all the pundits and party leaders will be scratching their heads wondering what happened!! One thing I know for sure is that they will blame Hillary for Obama’s loss instead of themselves.– Elizabeth L
Elizabeth: you said a mouthful, you are absolutely correct, they will blame Hillary for Obama’s loss. I have voted for a Democrat since reaching majority (more years ago than I care to admit) and now feel like I am wandering on some bleak and nightmarish planet ruled by the pajama people. I cannot vote for McCain, I will vote for down ticket Dems, but never, never will I vote for the golden child. Count me in for that third party option. — Phylise
My husband and I have been life long democrats who have voted in every election since we were old enough to vote. I am 66, my husband is 67. We will not be voting for Obama and have already changed our registration to unaffiliated. We sent our cut up democrat registration cards to Howard Dean in protest of the way they have been treating the voters of FL and MI and also for the way they have allowed Hillary to be treated by the DNC, the Obama campaign, and the MSM without saying a word in her defense. We will be voting for McCain in November if Obama is the democratic nominee and that includes if he “decides” to pick Hillary as his VP. We will not vote for Obama under any circumstance. Obama is untrustworthy, unprepared, arrogant, and a product of the corrupt Chicago political machine. We are Americans first, party loyalists last. – Nana
This is agonizing for me. I have always voted Dem (except for Weld over John Silber, who voted for Reagan — who needs a “Democrat” who supported Reagan? Speaking of which…My daughter is worried about the Supreme Court. I informed her that it is thanks to Dem wimps and k***sses that we ended up with Thomas in the SC. And what have the Dems done since we voted them in in 2006? I’m ready for a third party and I won’t vote for O. — boomerg’ma
I won’t vote for Obama. I won’t vote for McCain unless my state is in play in November. I hope to be voting third party (but certainly not for Libertarian impeacher Bob Barr.) — Slim
I , too, have reregistered as an Independent. I have never voted for a Republican in my 47 years. But if Obama is the nominee I not only will be voting for McCain, but I will actually work for his campaign. I feel so strongly about not allowing Obama get to be president. I see and feel and smell disaster if he becomes president. I am in literal shock and disbelief at what the Democratic party has done, not only to Hillary and Bill, but to themselves and to a large part of their constituency. It sort of feels like being betrayed by your best friend….you don’t really believe it at first….then you feel so stupid for believing anything they ever said to you or that you were friends with someone who disregarded you so.
I don’t think I have ever felt as passionate about seeing Hillary Clinton in the White House. She is one of the most brilliant and aweing candidates we have seen in a long long time. For the democratic party not to see that, defies logic. I actually hope that Senator Clinton decideds to start a third party. Wow would that be one for the history books!!!! — Ray
To be continued…
Update: In a comment to this post, Anna Shane makes an excellent point:
It seems like a movement, and grass roots, of long time voting and contributing Dems who’ve forgiven our party and the candidates that didn’t have it in them to win, but who won’t put up with nominating a loser over a proven winner….They dismiss her and install him at their own risk, we won’t be willing to back this hack party if they waste our money and insist on giving us damaged goods. But, they know, the point is, do they care, do they still want us in the party?

Being thrown out of all of the democratic blogs was the tip-off that the party does not want my participation, except to give them money, and vote for the candidate they pick out.
Amen.
Exactly! I started blogging in January, and immediately noticed the vulgar, disrespectful, tactics implemented by the Obamabots towards Hillary. I was disgusted that neo-con tactics and talking points were used on her by fellow Democrats. Well, it’s been a long four months, and I’ve learned a whole helluva lot. One of which… the Democratic Party, the Party of my parents, grandparents, and myself, has not only lost its mind, but its scruples. They do NOT represent me, and don’t give a damn what I think. Picking Hillary as a VP in order to “appease” us, is disgusting and insulting.
Well said. I am disgusted with all who have turned their backs on the Clintons. How quickly people have forgotten what they did for us. I refuse to vote for a candidate so incredibly hypocritical as Obama. He is as extreme as Bush in my mind. The fringes of either party are not good for this country. In order to create the “check” in the checks and balances our government was intended to have, it will be McCain for me, which will the first Republican candidate I have ever voted for in my long history of voting. I never imagined this could happen and as you mentioned, I too have learned a whole lot.
speechless. Are we having nightmares?
Yes indeed! Just hoping that we’ll soon wake up and discover that it really WAS a nightmare. What a bunch of idiots, losers and Judases….who would want to associate with the likes? Let them walk off the cliff by themselves!
Oh well. A lot of those blogs are run by ex-Republicans (Kos, Huffington) who could care less about core Dem values, or by quasi libertarians who value Hope and Change (whatever that means) over, say, universal health care, because they’ve already got theirs and could give a rat’s ass about those who don’t aside from calling them hicks and racists for not supporting Obama. They also, of course are terrible sexists who enjoy trashing Hillary all the time because they have nothing substantial to make a positive case for Obama.
I work in a place that is heavily Democratic.
I was always a strong Hillary supporter. Most others, who are not really involved in politics but do vote, at the beginning supporter either Hillary or Obama. They said either one would be fine.
Well, six months later, there are at least ten people that will not vote for Obama. He had goodwill at the beginning, but his support has completely eroded. Obviously, that is true across the country. The big turn off was the Wright issue. The second issue was using the race card (everyone is sickened by him saying things like the Archie Bunkers and everyone from Kentucky is racist, etc).
I don’t know when the party is going to realize that this anger is not just a few “angry women” but the whole core base of the party.
They need to wake the f$## UP.
“Democrat party”? I think your views would have more credence if you didn’t produce phrases like those of a hyper-partisan Republican.
“There’s no great mystery about the motives behind this deliberate misnaming. ‘Democrat Party’ is a slur, or intended to be - a handy way to express contempt. Aesthetic judgments are subjective, of course, but ‘Democrat Party’ is jarring verging on ugly. It fairly screams ‘rat.’”
That’s interesting. I was just trying to be accurate grammatically. I can assure you that I had no more sinister motives.
Can anyone else comment on this issue?
I prefer to be accurate and if I should edit this usage, I will.
I wonder if it is a regionalism. I was watching one of Kim Frederick’s fantastic videos about the Texas caucauses and at one point she said “Democrat Party”, so I wondered if it might not be a regional quirk rather than the usual putdown of the Democratic Party.
Roseanne Barr said ‘democrat party’ on Air America. She got the same questions - why are you using that term? She said she’d always used it. I don’t think it is a ‘giveaway’ to be a closet repubican necessarily.
Democrat party is the way I’ve been brought up to say it. I’m not from the boonies. Since when did the term change to ‘democratic’ party. It implies something democratic rather than a Democrat. just sayin’.
Republicans and conservatives do it so they can emphasize the second syllable — RAT.
Actually technically the 2nd syllable is ‘crat’.
When McCain or Bush or McConnell or Boehner say it, it comes out “RAT”. And it’s not by accident. Check out from last fall. Olbermann’s condemnation of “Democrat Party” is at about the one minute mark.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcMsvr342oc
Well that’s a dead giveaway. Anyone who’d post a Keith Olbermann “Look-At-Me-I’m So-Special Comment” to bolster their case must be an Obama supporter.
Are you lost, sweetie?
*****A
And by December it will be pronounced “crap”.
lol
They started doing it after the “Gingrich Revolution” because they didn’t like admitting that the D’s are actually democratic (small d) in their behavior whereas the R’s behave like thugs. (Oh wait . . . )
texasdarlin, it is democratic! the repubs along with bush have used it like that. hope that helps!
ooops, ok, i fixed that. thanks.
looking good!
I think it may be regional — I’m a Texan, and I shift back and forth between Democratic Party and Democrat Party.
to be honest right wing talk radio types all say Democrat party instead of democratic, as if to imply that we are not democratic, merely partisans.
It tends to be seen as a slur, like liberal and womans libber.
That being said - great post.
We need somewhere to gather now that Taylor Marsh has jumped the shark.
She banned me for no reason. ‘Just cut me off. No reason. No warning. No loss. Can you imagine 500 plus comments written by a couple dozen bloggers who censor themselves.
Don’t give up yet folks!! Even if Obambi reaches what he will call ‘the nomination threshold’ it won’t matter until the convention. That’s still 3 months away. Still lots of time for more of Obambi’s skeletons to dance out of his closet. Hillary (and us) must keep a vise-like pressure on that lying weasel. Stay strong!!
Thanks avwrobel! I agree, hang tough everybody!
I voted for Mondale when I was 19 years old in 1984; then Dukakis, Clinton, Clinton, Gore and Kerry. I have voted Democratic in every single campaign since I was old enough to vote with three exceptions- in 1984 I voted Republican for Governor of Vermont because I had a personal grievance against the Democratic Candidate, two years later I voted Independent for Governor (the guy I voted for was Bernie Sanders, currently US Senator,) and in 2002 I voted in the Republican primary for Congress in Maryland’s Fourth District because I was a candidate (I ran to give my AP Government students a special project to work on; I chose the GOP primary because the incumbent was a Democrat and I hoped to win the primary so we could continue the project through to November.)
This November, I’ll either stay home or vote for McCain. There is no chance in hell that I will vote for Barack Obama. I would have loved to vote for Hillary in November, but clearly the Men in Charge don’t give a shit about my vote or my money.
I won’t be voting for downticket Democrats either; here in Maryland the only Democrat of note who supported Hillary was Gov O’Malley and he isn’t on the ballot this year. I won’t cast my vote to any Democrat who aided and abetted this disaster.
I hope everyone’s hearing you loud and clear.
Hey John:
Glad to find another fellow Marylander who feels the way I do. My first election was 1988, and I have voted Democratic ever since. I too will not be voting for any Democrat who either willingly participated in this travesty or who sat in silence, watching it unfold. I am reminded of the following quote by Dante:
I will be changing my party affiliation to Independent.
I love that Dante quote…I think our beloved Bobby Kennedy used it frequently.
Marylander here, liberal, always vote straight ticket Democrat.
I will vote McCain if Obama is nominated. If you feel as I do that Obama is not qualified to be president it is a much better strategy to vote McCain because that takes one vote and gives it to the other candidate, instead of voting third party or write-in.
My parents are also Marylanders and lifelong Democrats and will not vote for Obama.
I have NEVER voted for a Republican in my life, and I have voted since 1988.
That said, If they give it to Obozo, I will be voting for McCain.
I will also be participating in OPERATION: POSION COATTAILS, where we vote AGAINST all down ticket Dems who endorsed Obama.
They will regret taking his money.
POISON COATTAILS that is
Just got two gimme letters, one from the DCCC “from” Nancy Pelosi, and one from the DSCC “from” Al Gore. Am waiting for the Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting before I send in my donation of $0.00, to see how MI and FL are ruled so I can word my letter appropriately!
I’m with you on that one. Just like Santa, I’m making a list and checking it twice.
All I have to give is my money and my vote. Either the Democratic Party will hear from us loud and clear now or LATER.
The state in which we Democrats find ourselves today is surreal. This is my letter to the Democratic Party and fellow Democrats. I will not leave my party but I will not vote for its presidential nominee if that person is Obama. I will vote for McCain. I will vote for Democrats who have supported HRC. Anyone tainted with Clinton Derangement Syndrome and Obamania will not receive my vote and I will work actively to cause them to lose their elected office. I will become an activist within my local party and I will take back my party. I will make sure that HRC is recognized as the First Leader within the rescued remains of that Democratic Party. I will not rest until the people responsible for this insane turn of events are outed and they apologize and make amends for their stupidity or they agree to quietly leave the Democratic Party and form their own party which they can name whatever ridiculous name they think most aptly describes the politics of self inflicted wounds and the audacity of arrogance.
I agree with standard, I got the message loud and clear when blogs like Huffpost, DailyKos and Americablog decided they no longer needed those who supported Hillary. They are the “new” progressive wing of the Democratic party and they will decided who we are to vote for. Not this life-long Democrat (37 yrs of voting)! I will be re-registering as an Independent this week when I go with my son to register to vote for the first time. He was going to register as a Democrat until he saw what Dean did to FL and MI. He will register as an Independent and said he will not vote for Obama for any reason. We both live in Illinois and we have seen first hand what a phony Obama is.
I hope this movement continues to grow. I don’t feel the least bit guilty if McCain wins. This will be the only way to show the Democratic party that disenfranchising voters and misogyny will not be tolerated by Democrats.
Oh…and for those who believe that Obama is far to the left, think again…he’s more of a right winger. He’s thrown his own party Democrats under the bus a number of times with his votes along Republican party lines in Illinois. He’s also thrown his own constituents under the bus if it meant he could get a big fat load of cash for his campaigns (Rezko and Exelon). As bad as McCain is…Obama is worse. He’s hungry for the power of the Presidency, the will of the people mean nothing to him and he will only do what is in his own best interests, just like Bush.
And when we all leave the party, the bastards will turn around and blame HRC.
It won’t matter, because there is no way in hell Obama will be elected. Even if he reluctantly tacks on HRC as VP (something I hope she will never accept), it will be a weak ticket. Because Barack Obama is nowhere near qualified to run a country.
With an Obama/Clinton ticket I’d work twice as hard for McCain! Hillary might be noble enough to sacrifice herself that way, but I’d try to keep her from being tied up to that idiot.
If she doesn’t get the nomination this year she can win in 2012, after we help McCain destroy Obama.
There’s a story to be told about how MoveOn and DailyK got together and hijacked this whole thing. There are vested interests there. Personally I find Markos to be mentally ill.
Did you all see that some senior Obama aid is saying that Bill Clinton is the only one who can “…put his arms around the (Democratic) party and begin the healing process.”
When Obama loses, it will serve (2) aims of the party elite.
1. destroy Senator Clinton’s chances for 2008
2. blame Clinton’s and marginalize their influence even further.
funny how bill is the only one who can unify us, but obambi’s supposed to be the great unifier and the clintons are supposed to be the divisive ones.
these people have no shame. not only must their puppet candidate lose, but they must all lose their jobs.
do you know back in January (1/2 to be exact) KOS defended Hillary for remaining on the ballot in Michigan. I’d give you a link but I don’t know how to do that yet.
Wasn’t MoveOn the one who trained the paid volunteers to hijack the caucuses?
The “white trash” (Obama’s words) got kicked out of the party — along with gobs of other undesirables.
There is no way that I will ever consider myself a democrat ever again. The democratic party no longer exists. Donna racist Brazile — your doing a heck of a job — you too Howie Dean.
Now I’ll just sit back and watch.
The Clintons would be wise to leave as well — the hatred and hostility that have been directed at both is so undemocratic and cruel that it seems some sort of de-evolution has occurred. I know that I consider anyone who is an Obamabot an enemy. And I also will not vote for anyone who has endorsed Obama. I believe that in WA state that there are enough of us who feel this way that the current Gov. will be the former Gov. next year.
She’s corrupt too just like Obama.
I THINK THE QUESTIONS TO ASK ARE:
1. Is the DNC trying to throw the election?
2. If so, WHY?
Disenfranchising FL and MI sure make it seem that way.
I wonder about Axelrod.
Everything his henchmen have done are designed fan hatred and to alienate.
The Democrats, if they throw the election by nominating Obama, want to co-opt his fundraising machine.
No not throw it. Of course not. But there are forces there that are desperate. It’s fairly obvious. What you see happening is really happening. That’s rule #1. The next step is to figure out why. Uppity has explained a lot already. Bullying, pressuring, threatening with new primaries - there’s a reason for this just like there’s a reason for trashing MI and FLA and trying to get Hill out.
There’s a lot of money riding on this one and for the big money behind it there’s a lot to lose if Hill wins. What makes them doubly desperate is seeing these poll results - that Hill cleans up in November.
What they’re really afraid of is her at 1600 with a strong Dem majority in congress. There are special interest groups she will be going after. It’s these people who are scared and are backing Barry as the fallback in case McCain can’t win it.
You are onto something. It goes along those lines but even deeper.
Kerry, Dean, Brazile and company would have some righteous wrath to fear from a President Hillary Clinton, given the ugly way this campaign has gone down, and they’re running scared. They simply cannot afford to let her win the nomination, and they’d rather lose the election for rank-and-file Dems than let Hillary open a can of whupass on them. They’re weasels and cowards. There’s the money, too, but I think the more salient motive now is fear. That’s why the Obosphere is so hysterical.
She won’t do anything. She has more important things to do. She’ll just walk softly and carry a big stick.
They may feel that way, but all of the evidence shows that Hillary does NOT hold grudges. She has always reached across the aisle to work with her opponents. I don’t see why that would change just because her opponents are so called Democrats now.
Maybe by the time Obama had proved unelectable, the DNC were scared of his threatened riots in Denver.
Maybe they think that if Hillary wins and Obama’s people riot, the Dems will lose in November anyway, so they may as well lose without the riot. Maybe they’re scared Denver would bill the DNC for damages — which they should, as the whole thing is the DNC’s fault. It’s the DNC that has let Obama get away with re-defining the rules in the middle of the game so that his people would consider the election ’stolen’ from them.
At this point Hillary might win in November riot or no riot: it’s obvious what has been happening and that none of it is her fault — and it won’t be HER little old ladies out there rioting.
If Obama lets his people riot, that’s the end of him, and good riddance.
It’s not our place to protect the DNC from the consequences of their folly. And Denver has had plenty of time to prepare for this; if they have any sense, they’ll demand a big damge deposit from the DNC or tell them to take their convention to Chicago.
Well, if the DNC has any sense, they sould have a mail-in convention.
nobama ever!
test
I teach in a high school where the obama kids have told me that they don’t need us old democrats-who have given time and money to democrats for years (30 years for my husband and I. Supposedly, obama has “brought all kinds of new voters” in. Well, democrats used to stand for inclusion, but no more. They don’t need the working class whites anymore. I never thought I would see the day when half the democrats would be told to stay home (via donna!).
cheer up jen! think about this. after the dims win both houses of congress they are going to go for a big immigration bill to pander to the latino community. i don’t think the aa contingent will much like that. they’ll be under the bus with the rest of us. and the young voters? good luck with that. their attention span is no longer than american idol. they’ll come back begging look for money and support. i say too damx bad!
Obama will probably start to draft the brats — he wants to increase troops numbers — and the only way to do that is to start up the draft.
Yep that’s the ticket — the draft!!!
That Would Be Funny!
Obama kids in high school? How old are they?
are those kids going to make up for our money?
didn’t think so.
Putting the money in place to establish a “new order” takes time and it takes candidates who appeal to a lot of people. You may lose at first, but you gradually “test” your methods and put in place the structure to eventually reach your goal–control, power.
yeah, and they’ll run that as well as the presidential elections over the past twenty five years or so. sounds exciting(not)
i think winning against the clintons is more important to them than losing the general. also you have fools in leadership positions. they actually think barfy is going to get them some money and a lot of young voters to replace the old hicks they don’t want anymore. sounds surreal? well it is!
What’s wrong with the Clintons? Why don’t they like the Clintons?
I got the message loud and clear when blogs like Huffpost, DailyKos and Americablog decided they no longer needed those who supported Hillary.
You too Mary Ellen? It’s been months since I’ve visited those places. I’m leaving the Democrats behind, they clearly have no use for people like me any longer.
Not only will I not feel the least bit guilty if McCain wins, I’ll celebrate because I am going to work very hard to ensure McCain is the next President of the United States. No Democrat will get my vote.
Axelrod isn’t stupid. If he’s daring to alienate such large voter constituencies he must have something up his sleeve. Either that or he’s going to leave Barry hanging after the nomination process is complete. Which would be really funny.
What if this whole situation is being manipulated by people who don’t care if you vote McCain? For example, “the Combine” (see Evelyn Pringle articles at RezkoWatch) was made up of both parties. They didn’t care who was elected–the idea was to put into place individuals who made money from voters for the Combine participants.
Got a donation request and survey from the DNC this week. I wrote all over it in huge letters with a red felt-tip. I thought about writing a nice, civilized letter, but I am so angry I wanted to get in their face. No profanity, just telling them what I think of their treatment of Hillary Clinton, their bias, and the way they have tried to rig this nomination for Obama.
I’m 49, and registered as a Dem on my 18th birthday. I have never been so disgusted. I feel like I’m wandering in the wilderness, a person without a political party.
I heard someone mention on a blog, I think it was that assh**e Roland Martin from CNN, that Hillary is trying to increase the anger in her supporters. That is such bullshit. Believe me, nobody needs to try to increase my anger. I don’t need any help with that–I have never been so angry in my life.
They are going to flush this election down the crapper. I would take pleasure in seeing the Obamabots and the media being taught a lesson, except we are in such need of a Clinton presidency right now with the economy in such bad shape, that I just feel disgusted with the fact that we are going to be deprived of the person who could help the country the most. 4 more years of Republicans, brought to you by Howard Dean and the Democratic elites.
I already gave money to the DNC. Is there a way to get it back?
I also gave money to NARAL. I feel like all my old friends are deserting me!
I’ve heard of some big donors asking the DNC to refund their donations. The DNC may actually do it!
I used to work in a non profit. You can request that they return your money.
” I think it was that assh**e Roland Martin from CNN, that Hillary is trying to increase the anger in her supporters.”
No Roland! Obama, Michelle, you and your cohorts in the msm, vile, vulgar Obamatons, Dean, Brazile, and the whole load of you cheaters, backstabbers and vile people you all did that on your own!
Got it?????
And guess what, I won’t vote for Obama if Hilllary ’s on the ticket. And NOTHING she or Bill can say will get me to support Obama.
Can I make myself any clearer?
How about this:
WIN WITHOUT ME!
I hope people will write the Hillary campaign and urge her NOT to take the VP slot. As much as I love her, I could not vote for Obama even if she were on the ticket as VP.
She needs to know that it will only hurt her.
I want Hillary to know that any sacrifice she makes to help Obama will hurt Obama, because it will make us work harder against him in Nov. I don’t want her sacrificing or hampering herself for him or for ‘unity’.
The only way to get around this is to have a new candidate, outside the mainstream of politics–Independent. But the election system does not favor Independent candidates. They don’t have large enough support groups at the individual and state levels.
Going to bed.
I got that same survey. At first I was writing in black liquid ink, but I realized I wasn’t making myself nearly clear enough. Went and got a nice bright red gel pen and let them know how I really felt. When they asked what advice I had for the Dem nominee, I told them this: “Be Hillary Rodham Clinton. If you’re not her I wouldn’t bother.”
Everything else was pretty standard as far as calling out Donna Brazile and Howard Dean and Nan Pelosi.
They should be afraid of the number of people they’ve upset. Let them learn no lesson now; they’ll learn in November.
Got a donation request and survey from the DNC this week. I wrote all over it in huge letters with a red felt-tip. I thought about writing a nice, civilized letter, but I am so angry I wanted to get in their face.
I did the same thing, told them no more money, no more votes.
I wont vote for Obama. Between his woman bashing clown supporters, his complete tolerance for gay bashers, his sweaty eager friendliness with the republicans, and his murky past how could any person vote for him.
The democrats will totally control congress after the next election, we dont need a trojan horse in the White House undermining what we will be able to do. Better to have Mccain and know what we are dealing with.
I am the woman in the photo, not literally, but figuratively. I am 50 years old, a professional, a lifelong democrat who has never been more than superficially politically active. I have donated to Hillary’s Campaign somewhere around $1000. I donate every month, sometimes twice a month. I have volunteered repeatedly and I am here to tell you I am pissed off. I won’t be a party to a party who treats women like we are nobody and fools. I won’t stand by and see a good American torn to shreds because she is a woman. If Hillary Clinton called and asked me to fly to Timbuckto tomorrow I would be on a plane. I am certainly not alone. Before this year I had never blogged in my life, I dare say I had never even visited a blog, or even knew what a blog was. Here I am on No Quarter, because right now, it is the only way I have to fight and have a voice. If the DNC thinks that I will get over this if Hillary losses they are smoking crack. I won’t get over this even if Hillary wins. If they don’t seat MI & FL and if they give the nomination to Obama there will be no rath like what will happen with American women. I will never vote for Obama.
Right ON, Right ON, Right On Sista I am with you 100 percent!!
great comment….
What she said. Good point, too: “I won’t get over this even if Hillary wins.”
I am most definitely not voting Obama, ever, for any reason. I am very very afraid of what his hidden plans for our countyr might be- but given his relationships- Wright, Ayers, Odinga and Michelle, I am sure it won’t be good. I am
