Hey, Ellen Tenn, Monday has come and gone. What happened?

Comment by Tim | 2008-06-05 22:07:07

Wow, what a bunch of losers you guys are. Do you all get together and watch TMZ too so you can gossip about celebrities?

Is this really more fun than debating issues? Do you really think the Presidency should be decided by which candidate has the least amount of embarrassing incidents/associates/gaffes?

NONE OF THIS WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE DIRECTION OF THIS COUNTRY!!!

If you believe in the conservative platform, I completely respect that and agree with some of the policies. But this type of thing is total nonsense.

Comment by Lana Kane | 2008-06-12 21:19:47

We really shouldn’t be surprised at anything this crowd disseminates in place of the Truth! After all, they all still believe any and All of the garbage spewed forth from the mouth of Rust Limpballs!!

Comment by Edgar Winfield | 2008-06-30 15:36:39

Well put, Lana. The Republicans are letting their desperation show - they’re terrified Obama might actually win. Lacking any real criticism of either the man or his record, they resort, not surprisingly, to rumors, vague accusations, generalities and transparent racism.

It is not the Democrats who have lowered the bar on this election, regardless of what hapless right-wing stooges would have us believe.

Comment by greg gallik | 2008-06-12 08:32:33

stop spreading lies, if you have proof of this comment lets see it. I know we’ll be waiting a long time…its difficult to produce a tape when it doesn’t exist.

Comment by Sarah | 2008-06-12 11:04:03

Listen…I was a Hillary supporter (and always will be if she’s running)but REALLY people, at some point you’ve got to calm down, take a deep breath and be rational. I support Obama because I believe that of the 2 candidates that will probably be in the main race he is the one who more closely represents my interests. Hillary for V.P.!

Comment by Janice Steed | 2008-06-13 20:17:08

You speak my exact views, except I believe Hillary will have more power for our cause if she returns to her senate seat. Let’s save her for our candidate in the first election after Obama is through. She has paid her dues, and done her homework well. We have not given up on her future possibilities!

Comment by Deb | 2008-06-12 16:04:34

Don’t we have enough to worry about in this country without spreading lies and innuendo. You guys are pathetic. There is no tape or proof of these blatant lies that distort our democratic process here in America.

Comment by Tradesheed | 2008-06-12 20:00:21

I don’t know why so many people listen to the top 1 percent of America who get tax breaks. They want you to vote Mccain for a little extra money in their pockets.

Larry Johnson’s “Whitey” Hoax Blown Wide Open
By thejoshuablog - June 6, 2008, 2:25PM

Must read by The Termite:

Conservative NRO blogger Jim Geraghty asks why the apocryphal Whitey Tape bears such an astonishing resemblance to a plot point in the 2006 political thriller novel The Power Broker, by Stephen Frey:

[skip]

If there was any lingering doubt as to whether this tape actually existed, this should drive a stake right through its heart. Not only was this a hoax; it was a poorly conceived hoax, designed by people with the brains of a garden slug and the morals of a nose hair trimmer.

Larry Johnson is a boil on the ass of the body politic. May he rot.

(my emphasis)

Love that last line.

All I can say is, get thee to a therapist, Larry Johnson. You are ill.

Comment by B Poi | 2008-06-12 19:28:41

Please give us all a break. The absolute mess you conservatives have put ‘our country’ in. We need to have a peaceful America, a unified America and a fair America. What you are most afraid of is yourselves. What you most dislike about another is what you most dislike about yourself. Please stop the lies and
this crazy conservative agenda. Peace and vote Obama in 2008

Comment by Ike | 2008-06-12 22:31:57

Monday has come and gone and as usual you folks fail to put up. I guess that now it’s time to shut up. It’s a shame to think that you feel that your candidate can’t get elected without using these types of tactics. Please GROW UP.

Larry Johnson you sir are a lier!

Comment by Phyllis Brown | 2008-06-16 02:04:57

The opposition is nit-picking! Has anyone studied all the lies, half-truths innuendos that Hillary has told? Why aren’t they picking on her? Or did this lie originate with her? Why doesn’t she have to defend herself against true lies? If Hillary had made a statement saying Blackeys, no one would have said a word! Where’s the fairness?

Comment by Phyllis Brown | 2008-06-16 02:08:16

If this is all “they” have to complain about, “they” must really be scared of Barack’s popularity. “They’re trying to whittle him down to their own tininess.

Comment by GodsVeteran | 2008-06-16 17:49:27

Hey everybody - he never said which monday…. tired of WAITING? Wanna get out? Easy - Mr. Johnson is a spin by himself. If such tape exists - why wanna wait until monday? Wait and u will see - but why waiting - truth is obvious. No such tape exists.

Comment by sarah | 2008-06-17 19:45:44

There are significant differences between McCain and Obama. Surely we can discuss those differences without making stuff up?

Telling lies is wrong. Let’s stick to the facts. Even if you disagree with his policies, you should recognize that Obama and his wife are good people who care about the wellfare of ALL Americans. Obama and his supporters give McCain that respect.

Now, let’s see some reality-based debate!

the following website http://www.mikefrancesa.com/wordpress/?p=814
has some excerpts from Michelle Obama’s brother, Craig Malcolm Robinson’s senior Princeton thesis.

I think that video is the only hope left for a major turning point to halt the un-electable Barack Obama from being nominated, hope that it is true, thanks to all of the Clinton supporters, you give us hope and prove there is some sanity left in America.

Barack Obama is a media created myth. Now is the time for the Clinton supporters to start researching, Lexis Nexis, internet, libraries, do what you can to unearth the connections, there are more to be discovered.

Comment by Lucinda | 2008-06-01 07:35:54

At this point, it’s going to have to be something so stunning and unforgivable that he has no choice but to drop out of the race. After watching that meeting yesterday, I now believe without a doubt what Uppity has been saying. The DNC has fixed this race for him to win regardless of the votes or the will of the people. For me, it’s no longer about Obama. I just want the DNC to reap what they’ve sown, and I can’t wait to see the look on Brazile’s face when she has to go on CNN and comment about it.

Comment by swannyj | 2008-06-01 08:36:09

I agree. We are not acknowledging the DNC / SDs message to us because it is so unbelievable. However they have been consistent if the message;
WE DON’T CARE IF WE LOOSE THE BLUE COLLAR VOTE WE ARE BUILDING A NEW BASE. It is clear, they simply do not care.

Comment by daod | 2008-06-01 08:48:09

“WE DON’T CARE IF WE LOOSE THE BLUE COLLAR VOTE WE ARE BUILDING A NEW BASE. It is clear, they simply do not care.”

The Republicans have the same “We are building a new base” problem.

Comment by alexei | 2008-06-01 09:56:20

Except the Republicans are building a new base - it will consist of the white working and middle class, Hispanics, white women, seniors, Jews, Catholics and Asians. That is Hillary’s base and the “old” Democratic base. Welcome to a Republican hegemony if they play this right.

Comment by Amos | 2008-06-01 12:10:44

“If they play this right.”

BWA HA HAAA! Clearly you haven’t been watching us for the last 8 years. We haven’t been playing much of anything right at all.

Forrest Gump could beat our party’s leadership at a chess match in 6 moves.

Between the “He got them good Christiun values… jus’ like’n me!” (say it in Mator’s voice) wing and the pillage, rape and rob the taxpayers like a Democrat wing (only without the polished-turd patina of do-gooderism), we’ve got more morons than a sack full of morons.

We probably couldn’t even play a Wii right.

Are you kidding?

The only reason we’ve done anything is because of your party’s incompetence and perfidy.

I agree you are all correct.

But I suggest that the radical changes in our political system in the last ten years is relative to the massive communications revolution the human race is presently going through.

My first thought of how much the New Age of Communication would/was changing the world during the Bosnia and Melosabith (spelled just as I like it).

You see Melosabitch was "Old World" and his appreciation for technology (information) of our days. These days, you can't even hide mass graves and get away with it.

It never fails. Wiley Cayote tricks always have a way of winding up just another ACME failure.

Obama, sitting in his "Old World" church listening to the old world hate also didn't count on technology, did he?

I hope everyone is paying attention now. This ain't America circa 1981 no mo. ho.
(I can bring on the Trinity too bitch!)

Well, it may not necessarily have to be that stunning. There is such a thing as a tipping point when even smaller items stack up so high that the whole thing tumbles down.

Of course, I thought the tipping point had been reached a long time ago!

Well, it may not necessarily have to be that stunning. There is such a thing as a tipping point when even smaller items stack up so high that the whole thing tumbles down.

Of course, I thought the tipping point had been reached a long time ago!

I thought so too Tricia but I was not surprised at the outcome. Barry is getting the MSM “Royal Bush” treatment. (No, not speaking about the Queen of England.)

Sorry, I’m double parked in the pun zone. Moving on …

While I think there is a good share of Barry Bobbing Heads who will continue to bob no matter what, I also think that an even bigger share of people who are hoping/wishing/expecting/praying for something like this to come out so that they feel “safe” to vote against the “black guy” without guilt.

And because My world is small but my brain is free, I have wondered if “La Pelusa” and Don Knotts Reed aren’t counting on it.

Think about it. Can any Democrat say a word against the black guy in the room without being accused of being a racist?

(doleedeedoo doleedeedo …::: begin dream sequence…. GW at the podium “you ain’t wit me, you are wit da terrrrist! …doleedeedo..doleedeedo:::…..

So, these Democrats act impossibly supportive of the black guy, winning over the black voters, even if they lose in November, individually, each one of these Senators will enjoy a great support from their own AA constituents now and in the future.

But, when the caca hits the casa, they can put their arms in the air and say we tried. In this sense, it is a win/win for these Democrats.

However, these same Democrats have fallen, much like most everyone who comes within camera distance from fame, forget about the little people (no, not Seacrest). And they too are “Old World” thinkers who fail to recognize the info-lution going on and how they themselves are being manipulated by it’s force.

Alright plainly said: They believe the MSM’s hype about them. They did not count on the silent majority bucking.

Why? Because today, even the silent majority has a puter.

Ding, Dong! Pelosita! Anybody home?

(so what is the electronic equivalent of Ding Dong? Who Ding Dongs anymore? Shuddup over there, I heard that.)

Comment by b | 2008-06-01 13:54:57

“Think about it. Can any Democrat say a word against the black guy in the room without being accused of being a racist?”

As a conservative liberatarian, I apologize for intruding on your blog, but I want to point out that today’s atmosphere in which criticism of minorities or protected groups is labeled racist and shouted down, with orwellian “hate crime” thought crime legislation, untenable double standards for discourse and behavior, and splintering national “narratives” has been created solely by the Democratic party and its enablers in the media, and this atmosphere suited them just fine when it was only applied against Republicans. I would like to be encouraged that this Obama nonsense has led some on the left to finally see the problems inherent in the identity politics approach.

Let the flaming begin!

most of the people I know who support Obama do so because they really think he can move people — and he does. He’s not been packing the stadiums with thousands and thousands of people because he’s a dud.

The other thing he does, very well, is convince people of his sincerity — and I think that’s what sunk Hillary and will sink McCain. Not necessarily that any of these candidates is any more sincere deep down than another, but it’s like the longer you talk, over the years, the less able you are to speak from the gut, and the more you have to clear it with your head. Given the in-depth parsing y’all are so keen to engage in, that self-preservational attitude should be no surprise.

The point remains: Obama moves people profoundly, and in huge numbers, and he will be our next president, cause McCain’s having a hard time moving an ant-hill right now, and Bush ain’t helping.

Cheerio,
Drew.

Yeppers. The plot is to lose in November.

There’s no way for the “unity” these Obamatics want, they have burned too many bridges.

Obama is everything I despise in a candidate. Worse, he doesn’t even try to connect to the majority of this country — something even Bush could do.

Absolutely no vote in November.

You are absolutely right about Obama — he’s a total media creation. With Obama, the Democrats are on a Death March to November. He has no resume, he helped build his position with highly questionable figures in Chicago’s political machine, the most corrupt in the nation, and he will just make a government already unresponsive even bigger.

Comment by Cheryl | 2008-06-12 14:51:35

So… the only hope you have of Obama not being elected President of the U.S. is what his wife’s brother said in college…how many years ago?

Please do RESEARCH - let us know what you uncover - because I haven’t heard / seen any credible dirt on Barack Obama.

It seems to me like ALOT of Obama’s friends and relatives have said alot of things that should be told!! READ THE “OBAMA FILE” ON THE INTERNET. Of course, I guess we need to forgive Obama for ALL these people he is so closely associated with—Not! The whole Obama file could not be a lie. Before the election, he will have DISassociated himself with his entire family and friends that he has known and been around and listened to his entire short life BUT OH WAIT–none of them have the same views he has–get real and you people believe him????!!!!

Comment by Shirls | 2008-06-12 23:22:38

I have lost all respect for McCain and the republicans. Is it gentlemanly conduct to have your cronies use smear tactics? In reading these comments I cannot find any respect and old fashion values mentioned, in spreading lies about a candidate and his spouse? The rumors cannot be substantiated so they ARE LIES.

I am also deeply disappointed in democrats who voted for Hillary, or said they are supporters, but I have begun to question this. As a true democrat you could not be posting for Hillary with these comments. She most certainly does not share these views.

Misery loves company and McCain’s campaign is in tatters. Clearly they are desperate to have to resort to such low conduct, or perhaps I am crediting them with scruples they do not possess. Whatever, ONLY republicans are under the bus and McCain’s straight talk express speaks with a forked tongue! The only thing straight about it is it is heading straight to hell.

For those of you considering boarding this old broken down bus, think twice before you jump out of the frying pan into the fire.

Now Opposition Research – when it comes to skeletons and dirt the republicans are dripping in it, so don’t go there. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. I gather that adjective is the operative unspoken bone that is sticking up your craw and choking you to death huh? You need to spit it out because America is about to enjoy the BEST EIGHT YEARS IN ITS HISTORY DURING BARACK OBAMA TENURE AS POTUS.

Go ahead and vote Republican. You’ll get what you deserve.
NRCC Lost $725,000 to Former Treasurer, Audit Finds.
By Sarah Wheaton

“A scheme by a former treasurer resulted in a loss of about $725,000 to the House Republicans’ campaign arm, according to an audit released today.
Christopher J. Ward, long a trusted financial figure in Republican circles, funneled money belonging to the National Republican Congressional Committee and covered up his scheme by faking external audit reports between 2002 and 2006.
Representative Michael K. Conaway of Texas, the new head of the N.R.C.C.’s audit committee discovered Mr. Ward’s actions in late January. After Mr. Ward repeatedly put off meetings with auditors, he admitted that no audits had been performed.
An external audit has finally been performed, by Covington & Burling with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and the N.R.C.C. released a summary of the findings today.”

That would be nice. When Larry first broke the story of the existence of the video I realized that was a good sign. His Republican connections would not have shared their knowledge of it with him unless there was some feeling maybe its not wise to wait until October to release it. They would rather take their chances running against Hillary than taking any risk of having to beat Obama in the GE.

He is, but the GOP didn’t win most of the country’s elections in 20 years without insurance.

The GOP would rather lose to Hillary (and getting the stuff they’re used too, and all the Bill Clinton stuff to jaw on for years), than lose to an outright Commie that could raise a social divide not seen since the 60s.

For all anyone knows, Obama could bring back the chains of slavery again — welfare. That to me is the greatest fear, because a-holes like Obama prey on their own people keeping them down. Look at what welfare did to the Black community — out of wedlock babies at alarming rates (because of welfare “rulez” of fathers couldn’t stay at home, let alone marry who they impregnated without losing benefits), who’s children then turn out to be hooked on the system — be it generationally living in the projects or in prison. It’s one way to buy votes, but it has ugly, ugly, ugly moral/ethical/social consequences, that only souless and heartless politicos (like Obama and his Trinity cohorts) could endorse.

That’s hilarious. A white person being scared of welfare. Especially since “your own people” (i.e. whites) eat up most of this country’s welfare dollars.

It never fails to strike me how racism can so completely overpower one’s common sense.

Don’t forget, there are republicans out there who hate McCain as much as we loathe Barky and would rather have Hillary as president than John.

I really hope this is something that will destroy Obama once and for all.

Lets not use this kind of rhetoric, it is too much like what Obama’s secret friends use. Let us simply hope that the revelation that Obama cannot be a uniter because he has internalized division and anger will spread among all our fellow citizens.

Also let them realize that a strong component of this anger and malice is the socialist viewpoint and that it hates America. Let the “movement’s” credibility be destroyed.

I hope they keep this thread at the top until Monday. May as well make the trolls sweat in anticipation.

Comment by vee | 2008-05-31 23:57:02

The trolls believe at this point that Obama has magic powers that make any scandal roll off of him, untouched. Thus far, thanks to the liberal media, they have been right. I hope there is real substance to this video and Obama ends up having to throw MO under the bus with the members of Trinity.

Comment by beebop | 2008-06-01 06:18:42

The trolls are paid. They are working at the behest of people with an investment in the Obama myth. All of that money came from people looking for a return on those dollars. They don’t intend to go quietly in to any good night. They will obviously do whatever it takes to make sure their investment pays off. That is what he is to them. An investment.

Comment by spamccensor | 2008-06-01 08:14:32

Not necessarily a smart investment, run by intelligent people.

Look at Iraq, or even Enron.

It really is THAT bad, the level of incompetence, and denial, stunning.

But then look at Bush, Cheney and Axelrod.

And compare them to Clinton, or even Joe Wilson.

See the difference?

Not everyone is capable of running a government, or even a business.

Really.

I agree, it took awhile to put the pieces together didn’t it? We all knew something wasn’t right with all of his scandals and lack of knowledge ill effecting his campaign. It is clear now. I do have some relief in now knowing that it is truly a fixed game, had my fears of that for awhile but now it is so obvious. I hope for our country’s sake that this video produces the results we all want and deserve.

Its the corporate press. Worst than communism and fascism. With no Fairness Doctrine, stripped by the republicans and perfected under Bush, we have a no conscience, no integrity press.n Beholden to the highest bidder.

After we take on Obama and his ilk, the press is next in line. In some way, for receiving and disbursing information via the internet, freedom lovers are defying the media narrative. That’s why its so blatantly obvious of their tactics: no negative news against Obama - unless its released over the INTERNET - and no positive news for Hillary.

The other beauty of it is the media narrative is changed by the blogsphere. The MSM, comfortable in their media spin bubble, won’t know what hit them.

Hillary’s candidacy has turned into a revolution to save the America we thought we knew.

Comment by Hershey Highway | 2008-06-01 10:28:47

The media hasn’t really changed in the way they operate. The difference is the number of outlets has decreased to about five major players and they are all on the same page.
Before, you when had one news paper printing the likes of a Maureen Dowd there was another rag across town printing their own lies to support their political faction.
Interested readers could read both spews and arrive at the truth.

Comment by speaktruth | 2008-06-01 11:22:08

I agree, Deep Truths, it is a revolution. I’m thrilled to see so many people out there, angry enough to fight back and be heard.
I would like to find a way to bring more people into it, via the Internet aspect. Very few people actually know these strong pro-Hillary anti-Obama blogs exist. They must feel even more powerless than we do. It would be good to spread the word about these blogs to as many people as you can.
I called my local Congressman and told his office about a few of them, so they would know the level of the passion and anger. They don’t hear it on the media and it would be impossible for us to email them often enough for them to understand fully. So inform them of the blogs, let them read to understand.
These blogs are the start of the revolution to defend democracy.

You all could protest until the cows come home the game is over and you lost. Get over it! This website is to allay fears and provide correct information about the next POTUS. I don’t believe there are any shrinks available to hear your complaints or to provide you with a basin and towel to catch and dry your tears. If you feel so strongly about your candidate losing the primary it may be best to take your grievances to Hillary Clinton.com instead of trying to turn this website into a mausoleum.

I am beginning to despair as to when the mourning period will be over. Frankly there should be none because Hillary is likely to play an important role in the change process. She will not be POTUS, or probably VP, but she certainly will have an important role to play. Cheer up! All is not lost.

With no Fairness Doctrine, stripped by the republicans and perfected under Bush,

Sir - how, exactly, would “equal time” on the Rush Limbaugh Show help Hillary any more than “Operation Chaos” already has?

Its your own Leftist media that has fallen in love with the chocolate idol, and your own Medeval scrupulocity vis a vis race has been turned upon you. It appears you are not enjoying the hairshirt.

The biggest untold story of the Dem primary has been Obama’s strategy to circumvent the base with caucus wins in states which no Democrat can carry in November, the media’s complicity in building his perceived momentum out of that, and the resultant effect that this had upon the popular vote. I would also say that it is a rather consequantial story if a candidate intends to slough off one of the two major parties’ base.

The Trolls really haven’t been so correct though when you think about it. All the media fawning in the world. Cash to the eyeballs. Backing of Party leaders (to the point of intimidation and attempted vote suppression). People afraid to put bumper stickers or lawn signs on display (due to fear of retaliation from Obama followers). All this and he still can’t close the deal. And believe it. The Trolls KNOW he’s in trouble. If they thought he was home safe, they wouldn’t bother coming onto the blogs. Nope, they’re worried and becoming more desperate by the moment; and the more they show, the more we know.

The paint has not dried and I can see through your camouflage. All of you salivating waiting on this ghost tape…don’t hold your breath!

Comment by Lin | 2008-05-31 23:46:46

I heard weeks ago that this tape existed and my source is solid. I believe it is out there…that the GOP and others have it…and that next week will be explosive.
