I learned over the weekend why the Republicans who have seen the tape of Michelle Obama ranting about “whitey” describe it as “STUNNING.” I have not seen it but I have heard from five separate sources who have spoken directly with people who have seen the tape. It features Michelle Obama and Louis Farrakhan. They are sitting on a panel at Jeremiah Wright’s Church when Michelle makes her intemperate remarks. Whoops!! When that image comes out it will enter the politcal ads hall of fame. It will be right up there with the little girl plucking daisy petals in the famous 1964 ad LBJ used against Barry Goldwater.
Barack may have quit his church but his religious problems are not over. Barack Obama has a Nation of Islam problem that will receive more attention in the coming days. Before Barack came on the scene, THE MAN in his political district was Louis Farrakhan. No one could take Alice Palmer’s seat without Farrakhan’s blessing. No one. I do not fault Barack Obama for seeking out the blessing of Farrakhan, but the story of what was done behind the scenes to get rid of Barack’s predecessor—Alice Palmer—has not been told. A knowledgeable source tells me that Tony Rezko played a direct role in this feat. And Rezko has been tight with Farrakhan.
It also should come as no surprise that Barack hired two members of the Nation of Islam to work on his staff—Jennifer Mason and Cynthia K. Miller. (And no, I am not merely recycling info initially reported by Debbie Schlussel. I have two independent Chicago sources for this info.) If Jeremiah Wright and Michael Pfleger had kept their yaps buttoned none of this would mean much. But the fact that both men have been—until scrubbed from the website in recent weeks—listed as spiritual advisors to Barack Obama and also are very close to Louis Farrakhan, forces the question about Barack’s faith and beliefs.
In probing those matters we begin to understand that the Nation of Islam has been a critical component of Barack Obama’s base of support. And, I am told, Louis Farrakhan has been careful to use Tony Rezko as the intermediary in his relationship with Barack. This is not guilt by association, this is guilt because of actual relationship. Farrakhan, Wright, and Pfleger are each on tape in various settings spewing the most vile racists garbage in the guise of preaching. Barack Obama, up to this point, has tried to pretend he had no idea that these men had these thoughts or said these things.
NONSENSE!! He knew and he knows. And the gig will be up when the Michelle tape hits the airwaves. One source described how this tape was acquired. Let’s just say that one of the republican candidates who is no longer in the race, but had a dandy oppo research capability, uncovered this gem. If Republican poohbahs have their way the tape will remain on ice until October. But when it comes out, Barack will be permanently branded with the Nation of Islam. That’s not a winning platform in November. And Barack’s bundlers understand this threat. I also have learned some major financial backers are asking the Barack team about the tape and are being stonewalled. It is a wild card in the political campaign that has not yet played out.

My old friend, Larry Johnson, knows about manipulating elections from his training with the Central Intelligence Agency. He doesn’t want Obama to win the nomination for whatever reason, and he’s in full propaganda mode to do everything he can to frighten the superdelegates. He claims to have a shocking tape of Michelle Obama ranting in some anti-white diatribe. He promises to produce this tape tomorrow at 9am.

I’m going to be honest with you. Both SusanHu and Larry Johnson have been friends of mine. They have both done a lot for me and I am grateful and indebted to them. Any issues I’ve had with their activities in this election I have kept private. I haven’t visited their site in four months because I found it too personally painful to read what they were writing and I did not want to be tempted to respond. I thought I owed them that. But loyalty can only go so far. If they publish this allegation tomorrow, I will no longer speak with them. And I say that with great sorrow.

According to news reports coming out of Chicago, Jabir Muhammad, a son of Elijah Muhammad, was the “front man” for a “minority-owned” business called Crucial. This business was actually owned and run by Rezko.

I believe that the tape does exist, and that it is what you say it is. I also agree with those who have said that you’re all hat and no cattle. This delay until October all but guarantees that a) Republicans dearly want Obama as their opponent b) They will delay as long as possible in releasing the tape to ensure Obama doesn’t have time to use his amazing teflon coating once again. A coordinated blitz of t.v. ads, talk radio, print, and direct mail all released at the same time would be difficult for Obama to overcome. It would eliminate Obama as a candidate “forever,” but would also sideline Hillary until 2012 when she would be back fighting off more “sanitized” women candidates, e.g. Kathleen Sebelius (the stepford Hillary who can “follow party orders” and keep smiling).

The problem for Barak Obama is that everything he claims to be is evaporating and blowing away in the wind. All his past associates are crooks, racists or shady political fixers. He has no legislative accomplishments, and his name was affixed by Emil Jones Jr.to all those bills credited to him as State Senator, but Obama did no work on them. Just one of the Rezko/ Muhhamed patnerships , Crucial Inc., went from receipts of $200,000 in each year before opening at concessions at O’Hare Airport, to nearly $6 million. In 1997, Crucial’s Panda Express won the right to open a lucrative concession at O’Hare International Airport under the city’s Minority Set-Aside program which directs large contracts to companies owned by Women, African Americans or Hispanics. The city awarded a 10-year contract for O’Hare Airport to Crucial Inc. in 1999, which the city believed was owned by an African American, Jabir Herbert Muhammad, the son of the late Elijah Mohammad. Crucial Inc. was also hired as a subcontractor to telephone giant SBC Communications, which received an exclusive deal to provide 1,000 pay phones for Cook County Government.
Rezko also was a central financial leader in the nation of Islam orbit as he was made the Executive Director of the Muhammad Ali Foundation. Jabir Herbert Muhammad was sued in 1999 by boxer Muhammad Ali for unauthorized use of his name in connection with the so-called Muhammad Ali Foundation. Jabir Muhammad has since sued rezko for Fraud and financial theft himself. CHICAGO, Dec. 30 (UPI) — A federal judge ruled Chicago’s 14-year-old set-aside law to remedy discrimination against minority- and women-owned businesses in the construction industry is flawed and gave the city six months to make changes.
Minorities and women received $619 million in city contracts last year — about 41 percent of all city business — far exceeding minimum requirements of a 1989 set-aside ordinance which reserved 25 percent of city contracts worth more than $10,000 for minority-owned businesses and 5 percent for women-owned businesses.
The minority set aside ordinance was initiated by the late Mayor Washington 20 years ago. Mayor Richard M. Daley is a staunch supporter of such programs .
In a 31-page ruling Monday, U.S. District Judge James B. Moran said the city’s set-aside program as presently constituted was illegal. The judge said it was unfair that healthy, well-established minority- and woman-owned firms were eligible for set-aside contracts under the current program. Moran said the city should take into account a business owner’s net worth and lower the annual amount a minority- or female-owned firm can make to qualify for the set-aside program.
