The hole in your debate is that Obama really WILL do what he says he will do.

Clinton said what she would do and we have her voting record to base our belief in.

Obama does not have a good voting record. WILL he do all the things he says he will do once in office?

When people say Obama and Clinton are similar on issues, I laugh. How can we know for sure? Anyone can say ANYTHING these days.

McCain also has a good voting record.

Obama has nothing but words when it comes to the issues. The only behavior (which by the way is what people are really judged by) we have to go on is his personal life and we all know what that entails.

Obama may just be SAYING he is for this or that. What is he really up to?

I agree that Sen. Clinton is the best choice, but McCain is so much better IMO than Obama. I live in Arizona and he has been my senator for years. He is a good leader and has experience. I can assure you he not going to overturn Roe v Wade (I say this with a heavy heart since I am pro-life). But for all you pro-choicers out there, he will not appoint judges who will overturn.

As far as the war in Iraq, I don't think Obama is going to just bring the troops home within the first year of taking office. Hillary wouldn't either.

I vote for McCain is a vote against Obama. I do NOT want Obama in the White House, nor his little wife, too.

Please include Gov. Janet Napolitano of Arizona.

Not only is she female, but her constituents voted hands down for Sen. Clinton in the primary in Arizona. She gave Obama the thumbs up right after the primary vote in Arizona.

It is highly implausable that the DNC did NOT know about Obama's connections to corrupt Chicago politicians and left-wing radicals, even black liberation fanatics. So, one can only surmise that the DNC is "one of 'em". The MSM, too. They see nothing wrong with their Marxist/Socialist philosophies, and propose to advance same philosophies. The fact that Chicago politics is corrupt is secondary to the fact that it is also extremely successful financially, something the DNC needs in it's efforts to control the country. That Rezko was found guilty was probably a concern to them, and who will be implicated next, they may wonder. Blagojevicz was their first choice to run for POTUS, but with the upcoming Rezko trial and Blag's own involvement, the pols had to then pull Obama off the bench as their number 2 guy. TWO potential candidates, both out of Chicago! A coincidence? I think not. But there is no way they did not know about his own involvement with Rezko; They were just hoping it wouldn't be as blatant and as easily uncovered. What I found so amazing at the RBC meeting was the fact that, when Hillary Dems were audibly protesting the RBC's decisions, the chair and co-chair were visibly FLINCHING!!! Did they NOT KNOW how strongly we all felt about an Obama presidency??? Can it be that they are so cloistered and oblivious to the will of the masses of voters, that they never expected such a reaction??? Can it be that they believe so strongly in their radical agenda, that they failed to see how many of us believe otherwise??? Can it be that they have completely forgotten that they are THERE to represent the masses??? I guess so.

The notion that only a Democratic president will put forth worthy SCOTUS nominees is not supported by historical evidence. Learn who it was who recommended Warren, Burger, Marshall, and Stevens. Recall that other nominees put forth by presidents have not automatically been approved by the Senate, e.g., Bork. Who gets on the Supreme Court depends upon the President AND the Senate. Also, if you review the record of the "strict-constructionist" Burger's tenure as Chief Justice, more than one landmark, progressive, ruling came during this period. The nominees must be considered as individuals, and whether or not they have demonstrated integrity, critical thinking, and compassion during their careers prior to nomination.
