Obama Ad Starring Racist Preacher

Obama’s relationship with yet another controversial Chicago minister, the Reverend James Meeks, has received relatively light media coverage, but the two are part of a circle of friends which includes Jesse Jackson Jr., a member of Meeks church. Blogger fleaflicker wrote an in-depth story about Obama and Meeks for No Quarter in March.
In 2006, Meeks was recorded preaching, in the tradition of Wright and Pfleger:
“We don’t have slave masters, we got mayors…But they are still the same white people who are presiding over systems where black people are not able to be educated. You got some preachers that are house n——. You got some elected officials that are house n——. Rather than them try and break this up, they’re gonna fight you to protect that white man.”
Now, reportedly Meeks has stopped using the “N” word at Jackson’s prodding. And naturally Barack Obama’s campaign has issued whatever expedient words have been needed to distance Obama from Meeks. Certainly Obama has become a master at throwing everyone except blood relatives (for now) under the bus, so no big deal…
But only 4 years ago, Obama recruited Rev. Meeks for a radio advertisement in support of Barack-Obama-for-U.S. Senate. And now it’s surfaced on the national stage:
How does Obama explain ALL these long-term friendships with racists, homophobes, anti-semites, crooks, terrorists, and other assorted offenders — ALL of whom he has disowned in the past 6 months? I’m losing track…..Wright, Pfleger, Meeks, Ayres, Dorhn, Rezko, Farrakhan, Auchi, Khalidi…. (probably leaving someone out). As I pondered in another post, does Obama have any normal friends? Seriously, this guy is scary.

We are now on day 6 of LarryWatch. This is 6 days since this very blog claimed and I quote:

BTW we are on 13 months into the first LarryWatch in which he claimed Rove was being indicted and he claimed ‘any day now’.
He lied then and his is lying now. He just hopes enough people will forget, well this one won’t.

And we won’t forget what was done to us when the nobama controlled DNC stole the election. And we will not forget the outrageous ties that the empty suit has to an ever-expanding list of shady, nefarious characters.

Oh. Michelle isn’t really connected with reality, not really understanding what Larry said, despite all the words she spews she has no intrinsic understanding of the greater issue. She feels the Rove methods will work, outside the bought and paid for media, even though Obama STILL had to steal the nomination, despite all the money, and bought out obama blogger wannabe ops, spinning on his behalf.
And she doesn’t know how to counter effectively, because she’s not very intelligent.

It is fact that Larry claimed from multiple sources that Rove was to be indicted any day, that was 13 months ago. Where is the indictment?
He claimed there was a tape according to his multiple sources, where is it? It is claimed that Michelle Obama blamed Katrina on Whitey. The problem is it is a lie. Katrina happened AFTER this event. It is impossible because it is a lie. As such everything a liar says should be taken with that in mind.
The Obama campaign put out the references to Katrina along with the ‘Why d’he” story to calm his investors. Then Larry put up pics of the women’s panel and the likely date of the event which was July 2004. It seems it was Bill Clinton speaking at another forum that started the shocking tirade. That is one angry woman. I believe the tape exists.

My understanding was that Rove was about to be indicted, but then his lawyer contacted the Grand Jury and Rove made another appeareance before the Grand Jury to “clear up a few misconceptions” (retract a few earlier lies), and this final appearance saved his ass but contributed to the indictment of Scooter Libby. And there does seem to be another bombshell coming out dail;y on Obama, but MichelleK may be so under the influence of the intoxicating Koolaid (like the media that ignore just about anything that may cause questioning of Senator Obama) that she cannot be moved to a state of consciousness.
As for the tape. Do we REALLY need it? I mean honestly even if the tape surfaces don’t you think that the Obamas are going to “slither” away just like they’ve done with EVERYTHING else about this guy. (and his wife). They slither away and say, “that’s just a distraction, let’s stick to the issues.” I’m so sick of this guy. Sick sick sick.!
Look, I’d love to see a tape, any tape, that came close to what Larry’s purported, but the fact is, Larry jumped the gun and has a tendency to do so. This is a great site and I find myself checking it often BUT credibility is critical and if you want the views heard, you need to exercise restraint. Pick the battles lest the war be lost.
I agree, Cindie. We don’t need that tape. We also don’t need that tape of Hillary participating in human sacrifice. She’ll just “slither” away from that like she’s “slithered” away from everything else.

I’m glad we’ve finally all seen the wisdom of eliminating the need for proof of libelous allegations.
All he said was the Republicans have it. He’s heard of it from a few sources. The WSJ and FOX seemed to think there is a bombshell floating around out there about MO. It wouldn’t be so scandalous, if Obama’s wife hadn’t already made comments that make it plausible.
I’m still trying to figure out why the DNC forced this candidate on us. I can’t stand John McCain but I can’t stand Obama more.

A Manchurian strawman cannot by definition have any friends. He has handlers, facilitators, and of course followers. Black liberation theology is about as mainstream in black America as neocon politicians and Falwell evangelicals are in white America. We have only ourselves to blame. This election may not ultimately be about the economy or the war. It may be about the segregrated indoctrination of extreme left and right politics in our Sunday worship. The Clintons’ integrated Methodist and Baptist legacy looks better everyday.

I came across an article in one of the Chicago papers that said Jack Ryan was having Obama followed in public back in 2004. It’s not that out there to believe that someone could have put a tail on Obama and his wife, after all, they have those cameras that are like buttons now, you know, the ones they use to see up women’s skirts. Poor Michelle, she probably thought the coast was clear with an audience full of faithful adherents to black liberation theology.

Imagine if he never stopped having Obama and Michelle followed after the shameful way they had his divorce records unsealed so Obama could win his senate seat.
Larry has told you the Republicans don’t want to use until the general election because using it now would knock Obama out and get Hillary in his place. Although, even with the tape I don’t think the DNC would take it from him because they’d worry about blacks rioting.

I guess Rev Meeks as a SD gave his endorsement to Obama not out of race, he just felt that this black man was way better than a white woman, I mean anyone listening to Meeks can see he is by no means racial at all he just supported Obama because he was the better candidate, just like all the other SD that dropped Hillary and but there vote towards Obama,..Right?
As for this Johnson issue it is really disgusting and as the days go by and more and more come out about OBama and his dealings, I am going to harden my heart against Dean and the DNC for what they have done to all democrats, we had a golden chance to put a democrat in the WH I just don’t know or understand why these people could of just blown that away.

I watch as this election begins and as it moves closer to November,I see McCain standing there wrapped up in the American flag, a man who served his country. I don’t like his politics but I respect the man for his service to this country and I see Obama hold hands with his many wacky friends, How did this happen? are people blind to Obamas strange bedfellows? I don’t vote republican and I will not vote Obama, not a lot of choice out there.

I can see the fall ad now: Meek’s racist rant, followed by the voice over: “I’m Barack Obama and I approve this message.” It may not make it on TV, but it will be all over YouTube.
Statement on the St.Sabina Web-site… they don’t need Pfleger and the Bishop should have talked to them before sending a temporary replacement in ???

I think their feeling is that by not having their pastoral assistants (who I’ve heard are academically trained in Catholic ministry) fill in, they’re being punished along with Rev. Pfleger, i.e. there’s more than just the one man at stake.
