As opposed to Obama’s tactic of just having Howard Dean and Donna Brazile steal the nomination for him? Or one of his other tactics of having the Republicans in NE, ID, UT and all the other little red states select our nominee for us? Since the Republican Party selected the Dem nominee as well as their own, I’ll vote for the one who’s at least arguably capable of governing — McCain, not the unelectable and unqualified Obama.
And you see where Obama’s love got the DNC, now a wholly owned subsidiary of the Illinois combine. The only thing that could possibly be worse for the Democratic Party than Dean and Obama stealing the nomination is if Obama were to actually win (or be able to steal, as it’s known to Obama) the GE. Another Democrat wouldn’t be able to overcome the stench of his crooked and inept administration until the 22nd century.
She raised more than any presidential candidate in history besides Obama. It is a known FACT that Republicans were supporting Obama to stop Hillary from being the nominee because they COULD NOT beat her! I’d also love to see how many of Obama’s donors know they donated to him. Obama’s website allows donors to choose an address in one of 227 possible countries or territories, including Iran, Iraq, Zimbabwe, and Yemen. Any foreign contributor can easily circumvent the law on Obama’s website by checking a box labeled “I am a United States citizen or a lawfully-admitted permanent resident,” along with his or her donation. While donors on Clinton’s web site who list a foreign address are directed to a special page which advises that such donations are only taken by mail and that donors “must include a copy of your U.S. passport or green card.”

I’m sorry to say that I think that the article “Are American Voters as Stupid As Democrats Bank On?” is right on the money. The smaller the government, the more freedom one has. If the government is doing a horrible job now, making it bigger isn’t going to help. Just more people to fight with.
I know a lot of people have been saying they are leaving the party because it is not the party we know of years past…I thought the piece was right on the money with what has been going on.
This article is right on point, except it is worse than Socialism. I don’t know if stupid is the right word, or if it gullible. Either way, it is very dangerous.
To digress, when Bush won the second election, after stealing the first, I was flabbergasted at the people who voted for him. Not only had he stolen the first election, he was systematically eliminating our freedoms.
Now it is happening again. People are flocking to a Obama who not only stole the nomination, he won his other elections in similar unsavory ways.
He has shown himself to be morally and politically corrupt by his associations and dealings.
He has no experience.
He has taken over the DNC (although I suspect that happened before he claimed the nomination).

Is the word for these voters stupid or gullible? They are no better or worse than you or I but there is something in them that makes them easy prey for power abusers. They see a charisma in Obama that the majority of the people cannot see. These are the same people who unwittingly gave power to the likes of Hitler, and kept supporting him until it was too late.

The important thing is - no one can take our freedoms away unless we let them. That is exactly what we continue to do.
This may all sound a little paranoid, but we have all seen how easily our freedoms can be taken away. I cherish our freedoms. I stood with the candidate who would protect them, not take them away.
I thought this Canadian was spot on, especially in his conclusion that Barack Obama is unfit for office either because he failed to recognize for 20 years he attended a separatist church with a racist pastor; or because he did and lied about it. And any American voter who thinks either way, this does not disqualify him for office, is stupid.

My understanding is that no internet live stream at this time but I’m sure with video on site (National Press Club )that the whole thing will be You Tubed. Don’t take my word on this though, you may have to do a direct contact to know for sure.

I read that article at nymag before the blog entry here disapeared and I must say, it was fantastic. I like that Hillary basically admits that she knows Obama will lose. And she gives the reason all of us know. The same reason why Gore and Kerry lost. They could not connect with hard working middle Americans and hispanics (amongst others).
At the same time, she knows that she will get blamed for Obama’s loss in November, especially if Obama offers VP and she says no. So she’s likely to take it if asked even when she knows their prospecs aren’t good.
Looks like they think Gore might get the MI voters for Obama.
