Selective Service Required: Did Obama Register?

According to the Selective Service System, under the authority of the Military Selective Service Act (Act of June 24, 1948, c. 625, 62 Stat. 604, as amended; 50 U.S.C. App. 451 et seq.):
A man must be registered to be eligible for jobs in the Executive Branch of the Federal government and the U.S. Postal Service. Proof of registration is required only for men born after December 31, 1959.
The registration requirement was suspended in April 1975. It was resumed again in 1980 by President Carter in response to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Registration continues today as a hedge against underestimating the number of servicemen needed in a future crisis.
1-103. Persons born in calendar year 1961 shall present themselves for registration on any of the six days beginning Monday, July 28, 1980. (Source).
The obligation of a man to register is imposed by the Military Selective Service Act. The Act establishes and governs the operations of the Selective Service System.
Barack Obama, who states he was born in Aug. 1961, was required to register for the Selective Service in 1980. Did he?
Efforts to confirm his registration have been unsuccessful, and Sen. Obama has failed thus far to offer proof of registration, or authorize the SSS to release this information to the general public. It is in the public’s interest to know whether a potential president followed the law during his lifetime.
Sen. Obama can lay this issue to rest immediately by providing proof of his Selective Service registration, which is reqiured to serve in the Executive Branch. The President of the United States of America is the head of the Executive Branch of government. There has been plenty of obfuscation surrounding the matter of Sen. Obama’s birth certification. Hopefully the question of his Selective Service registration will be resolved more swiftly.
If Obama’s birth and selective service is legitimate, why doesn’t he just come out with it??

Obama ran the dirtiest campaign I have ever seen a Democratic Party nominee for President run. Furthermore, in my opinion the DNC, with assistance from MSNBC, CNN, and others, did not treat Hillary Clinton fairly or honestly. As for me, I have been front paged here, and my views on Obama should be well-known.
I am a Democrat. Not a late-to-the-party Democrat like all the thugs at Daily Kos; not a pretend Democrat like some folks here and elsewhere, including Daily Kos; I’m a real Democrat, who supported Hillary, also liked Edwards, really like Wes Clark, and had no problem with Obama until he ran “the dirtiest campaign I have ever seen…”
Now I have a choice to make. The hardest political choice I’ve ever been faced with. Part of me agrees with PUMA - Hillary should be the nominee, is the stronger candidate, is the better candidate, and the DNC is corrupt right now, and my party needs to repel the invaders. But another part of me cannot vote for McCain - to do so would be absurd - Iraq for 100 years, hot bottled water for dehydrated babies, weak on economics, and not what he appears to be.
If ever there was a no-win situation, we’ve got it. More of the same, or a dirty politician. I can’t stomach more of the same, and I can’t support dirty politicians. So I guess I’m screwed, along with the rest of the country.

The Federal Election Commission is in charge of verifying that the candidates are eligible for POTUS. Currently the Commission has I think 3 vacancies. These vacancies have not been filled because the Democratic Majority in Congress has not voted on the nominees. The Commission can not meet until the vacancies are filled. IMO I don’t think anyone has checked/ nor verified the credentials of the candidates.

Obama did not get any student loans after the law was passed requiring selective service registration as a requirement for males applying for student loans.
Selective Service claims in an email that the reason(s) Obama’s registration does not show up is “probably” because of a technical difficulty, he used a different name, he used a wrong social security number, etc.
He didn’t register for selective services just like Michelle Obama never voted in a US election until her husband ran for office in Illinois.
