Obama supporters running scared of PUMA?
Written by T. Karol

I have to laugh when Barack Obama’s supporters are so afraid of the “PUMA” movement (Party Unity My Ass) and Just Say No Deal — among other coalitions that have sprung up since Obama was chosen as the DNC’s nominee — that they’ve attacked the very people they should be courting to establish the “unity” Obama claims the party needs.

The dog-and-pony show Obama put on with Hillary Clinton in Unity, NH was pandering to the point of insulting — especially when it was obvious how uncomfortable Hillary seemed (and Bill Clinton was a no show). The wounds haven’t healed, and Obama’s recent remarks that Hillary’s supporters need to “get over it” are just another glaring example of his arrogance. But die-hard Obama supporters seem to follow him like a cult, and are on the attack.

I have to laugh too.

The Roe v Wade argument that the Obama supporters try to throw at me doesn’t hold water, either: while McCain may be pro life, he has also vowed to appoint Supreme Court judges who will not legislate from the bench. And frankly, I trust McCain and take him at his word – not something I can say about Obama, who seems to change his word daily.

If she “takes him at his word” then obviously she wants Roe overturned.

McCain says Roe v. Wade should be overturned
Presidential hopeful reaching out to GOP conservatives

updated 8:35 p.m. PT, Sun., Feb. 18, 2007
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Republican presidential candidate John McCain, looking to improve his standing with the party’s conservative voters, said Sunday the court decision that legalized abortion should be overturned.

“I do not support Roe versus Wade. It should be overturned,” the Arizona senator told about 800 people in South Carolina, one of the early voting states.

Obama is pro-life so what is your point?

Comment by DJ | 2008-07-03 18:08:39

OBama may say he is pro-life but voted in Illinois senate AGAINST a bill that would allow medical treatment to be given to a baby still alive after an abortion

Come on Mike, We know republicans are pro life. You want to know what trumps our pro choice position???? It’s the fear of some lunatic becoming POTUS!!!!!!!

Comment by Obama is a bum | 2008-07-03 17:22:10

Trying to hold Roe vs. Wade over the heads of people who are averse to Obama will not work. Go back to your drawng board - Obama is a very tough sell to wise people.

How antichoice is John McCain? Let’s look at his record. In his four years in the House, from 1983 to 1986, he cast eleven votes on reproductive issues. Ten were antichoice. Of 119 such votes in the Senate, 115 were antichoice, including votes for the ban on so-called partial-birth abortions and for the “gag rule,” which refuses funds to clinics abroad that so much as mention abortion. In 1999, the year he said he opposed repeal of Roe on health grounds, he voted against a bill that would have permitted servicewomen overseas, where safe, legal abortion is often unavailable, to pay out of their own pockets for abortions in military hospitals.

His record on contraception and sex education is just as bad. He voted against a 2005 budget amendment, sponsored by Senator Hillary Clinton, that would have allotted $100 million to reduce teen pregnancy by means of education and birth control. He voted to require parental consent for birth control for teenage girls and to abolish Title X, which funds birth control and gynecological care for the poor. He voted against requiring insurance companies to pay for prescription contraception, when they pay for other prescription drugs–like, um, Viagra.

RNC Statement on Democrat Party Disunity
WASHINGTON – RNC Chairman Robert M. “Mike” Duncan released the following statement today:
“Even as Senator Clinton concedes her candidacy and endorses Barack Obama today, it’s clear the Democrat Party is struggling desperately to unify. Senator Clinton was correct to question Obama’s naïveté and inexperience, and those concerns remain for all voters nationwide. As Senator Clinton and other Democrats have clearly stated, their Party will struggle to coalesce behind Barack Obama.
“I am confident voters across America will reject Barack Obama on Election Day, just as half of his Party already has – and with good reason. Barack Obama’s inexperience, poor judgment, and fundamental lack of understanding of issues that matter most to Americans are becoming more visible every day. As voters become more familiar with Barack Obama’s record in the coming months, they too will see why he is not qualified to be Commander in Chief.

Comment by Lee,sarasota | 2008-07-03 19:19:34

Obama voters are not concerned with the issues or even who Obama is. In the past few days he has changed his stance on issues as public funding, NAFTA,etc. and now he is backing down on the war. His supporters apparently do not care about anything except that he is the change candidate and as was pointed out early in the campaign–those are just words. He struck back with– words do matter. We agree, but only if they are backed up by actions. His actions show that his words change as the wind, depending on what he thinks will get him votes. Obama voters are not voting with their heads and apparently nothing he does will change their vote even tho he is becoming another GWB.

It’s no wonder. Michelle and Barack Obama were associated , friends, with Louis Farrakan, Rev. Wright , The New Black Panther, radicals and terrorist, during the last 20 and more years.

Well I certainly hope that tape comes out sooner then later. What are people waiting for?
Come on over to Larry Sinclair’s sight and find out the truth about Obama. REad from top to bottom. Watch
all the videos and listen to the radio interviews. Even watch the National Press Release. I believe this man as Obama and his crew are working overtime trying to shut Larry up. If it wasn’t true Obama would just come out and call him on it!!! Now Biden is even in on it they think!!!

How does the DNC like it that other than on drilling (for now anyway) and taxes Obama’s positions now mirror John McCain’s? Hmmm!!! I guess everyone should vote for John McCain then because there is no difference and McCain is more experienced. Obama is a liar. We know he is going to damage the military and the country. We know. He is a liar of the utmost degree. At least McCain and Nader don’t (and Hillary didn’t) pander and flip their positions. Obama does it every single day. LIAR!!! NOBAMA!!!

Comment by believe | 2008-07-03 17:51:13

They don’t have the same positions. You’re making stuff up again.

And McCain flip flops like crazy — you know it’s true!!!

* McCain supported the drilling moratorium; now he’s against it.

* McCain strongly opposes a windfall-tax on oil company profits. Three weeks earlier, he was perfectly comfortable with the idea.

* McCain thought Bush’s warrantless-wiretap program circumvented the law; now he believes the opposite.

* McCain defended “privatizing” Social Security. Now he says he’s against privatization (though he actually still supports it.)

Wait, I’m not done with the last two weeks yet….

* McCain wanted to change the Republican Party platform to protect abortion rights in cases of rape and incest. Now he doesn’t.

* McCain thought the estate tax was perfectly fair. Now he believes the opposite.

* He opposed indefinite detention of terrorist suspects. When the Supreme Court reached the same conclusion, he called it “one of the worst decisions in the history of this country.”

* McCain said he would “not impose a litmus test on any nominee.” He used to promise the opposite.

And these come after these other reversals from April and May:

* McCain believes the telecoms should be forced to explain their role in the administration’s warrantless surveillance program as a condition for retroactive immunity. He used to believe the opposite.

* McCain supported storing spent nuclear fuel at Yucca Mountain in Nevada. Now he believes the opposite.

* McCain supported moving “towards normalization of relations” with Cuba. Now he believes the opposite.

* McCain believed the U.S. should engage in diplomacy with Hamas. Now he believes the opposite.

* McCain believed the U.S. should engage in diplomacy with Syria. Now he believes the opposite.

* He argued the NRA should not have a role in the Republican Party’s policy making. Now he believes the opposite.

* McCain supported his own lobbying-reform legislation from 1997. Now he doesn’t.

* He wanted political support from radical televangelists like John Hagee and Rod Parsley. Now he doesn’t.

* McCain supported the Lieberman/Warner legislation to combat global warming. Now he doesn’t.

And these are the flip-flops I’ve noticed earlier:

* McCain pledged in February 2008 that he would not, under any circumstances, raise taxes. Specifically, McCain was asked if he is a “‘read my lips’ candidate, no new taxes, no matter what?” referring to George H.W. Bush’s 1988 pledge. “No new taxes,” McCain responded. Two weeks later, McCain said, “I’m not making a ‘read my lips’ statement, in that I will not raise taxes.”

* McCain is both for and against a “rogue state rollback” as a focus of his foreign policy vision.

* McCain says he considered and did not consider joining John Kerry’s Democratic ticket in 2004.

* In 1998, he championed raising cigarette taxes to fund programs to cut underage smoking, insisting that it would prevent illnesses and provide resources for public health programs. Now, McCain opposes a $0.61-per-pack tax increase, won’t commit to supporting a regulation bill he’s co-sponsoring, and has hired Philip Morris’ former lobbyist as his senior campaign adviser.

* McCain has changed his economic worldview on multiple occasions.

* McCain has changed his mind about a long-term U.S. military presence in Iraq on multiple occasions.

* McCain is both for and against attacking Barack Obama over his former pastor at his former church.

* McCain believes Americans are both better and worse off than they were before Bush took office.

* McCain is both for and against earmarks for Arizona.

* McCain believes his endorsement from radical televangelist John Hagee was both a good and bad idea.

* McCain’s first mortgage plan was premised on the notion that homeowners facing foreclosure shouldn’t be “rewarded” for acting “irresponsibly.” His second mortgage plan took largely the opposite position.

* McCain vowed, if elected, to balance the federal budget by the end of his first term. Soon after, he decided he would no longer even try to reach that goal.

* In February 2008, McCain reversed course on prohibiting waterboarding.

* McCain used to champion the Law of the Sea convention, even volunteering to testify on the treaty’s behalf before a Senate committee. Now he opposes it.

* McCain was a co-sponsor of the DREAM Act, which would grant legal status to illegal immigrants’ kids who graduate from high school. Now he’s against it.

* On immigration policy in general, McCain announced in February 2008 that he would vote against his own legislation.

* In 2006, McCain sponsored legislation to require grassroots lobbying coalitions to reveal their financial donors. In 2007, after receiving “feedback” on the proposal, McCain told far-right activist groups that he opposes his own measure.

* McCain said before the war in Iraq, “We will win this conflict. We will win it easily.” Four years later, McCain said he knew all along that the war in Iraq war was “probably going to be long and hard and tough.”

* McCain said he was the “greatest critic” of Rumsfeld’s failed Iraq policy. In December 2003, McCain praised the same strategy as “a mission accomplished.” In March 2004, he said, “I’m confident we’re on the right course.” In December 2005, he said, “Overall, I think a year from now, we will have made a fair amount of progress if we stay the course.”

* McCain went from saying he would not support repeal of Roe v. Wade to saying the exact opposite.

* McCain went from saying gay marriage should be allowed, to saying gay marriage shouldn’t be allowed.

* McCain criticized TV preacher Jerry Falwell as “an agent of intolerance” in 2002, but then decided to cozy up to the man who said Americans “deserved” the 9/11 attacks.

* McCain used to oppose Bush’s tax cuts for the very wealthy, but he reversed course in February.

* On a related note, he said 2005 that he opposed the tax cuts because they were “too tilted to the wealthy.” By 2007, he denied ever having said this, and insisted he opposed the cuts because of increased government spending.

* In 2000, McCain accused Texas businessmen Sam and Charles Wyly of being corrupt, spending “dirty money” to help finance Bush’s presidential campaign. McCain not only filed a complaint against the Wylys for allegedly violating campaign finance law, he also lashed out at them publicly. In April, McCain reached out to the Wylys for support.

* McCain supported a major campaign-finance reform measure that bore his name. In June 2007, he abandoned his own legislation.

* McCain opposed a holiday to honor Martin Luther King, Jr., before he supported it.

* McCain was against presidential candidates campaigning at Bob Jones University before he was for it.

* McCain was anti-ethanol. Now he’s pro-ethanol.

* McCain was both for and against state promotion of the Confederate flag.

* McCain decided in 2000 that he didn’t want anything to do with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, believing he “would taint the image of the ‘Straight Talk Express.’” Kissinger is now the Honorary Co-Chair for his presidential campaign in New York.

Black Conservative Group Rips Obama

Here’s a sample of what you might hear on your radio:

“Bitter is what Obama called blacks and whites who love God.

Racist is what Obama called his white grandmother who raised him and made sacrifices so Obama could get a good education and become a millionaire,” says the narrator one of the spots.

“Obama’s mentor for 20-years was Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who said innocent Americans deserved to die on September 11th,” says the voiceover in another.

What Obama actually said about some Pennsylvanian voters:

” … It’s not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them …”

And, during his race speech in Philadelphia, of his grandmother:

“I can no more disown him [the Rev. Wright] than I can disown my white grandmother — a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me . . . but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed her by on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe.”

LOL!!! Here comes the Mother of All Flip-Flops:

Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) on Thursday backed off his firm promise to withdraw combat forces from Iraq immediately and instead said he could “refine” his plan after his trip to Baghdad later this month.

Earlier, a top Obama adviser had said that the senator is not “wedded” to a specific timeline.

Obama told reporters in Fargo, N.D., that he is “going to do a thorough assessment.”

There was a delegate to the Democratic National Convention from Wisconsin who is likely not going to be seated because she plans to vote for McCain. What I am hoping for is that there are more such delegates who have gone underground so as to not lose their credentials.

What chaos if either a pro-McCain or anti-Obama demonstration broke ot on the fllor of the convention.

Dear Friends, Has anyone noticed that Obama has been “put out to pasture” for this 4th of July? He couldn’t be further from main stream media unless they sent him to Barrow, AK! He was in Fargo, ND yesterday and Butte, MT parade today. I think Obama’s campaign wanted a weekend off from the retractions. Even so, he’s still handing out the waffles! Butte has a great Hillary group, so the parade may not be as friendly as expected. Happy 4th to All True Patriots! We are fighting for real Democracy!

As I told a great Journalist African American writer:

Our religion taught us, that when the master of liberal wing instructs the astray, he will first gather them first, the liberals, and then to “fool the faithful ones” , he will move to the central, and then gather them too. This is happening to today, the master’s plan is in action. The master’s puppet , Obama , has moved to the central.

For us religious and who practice the Word, know this are just political movements that are made to confuse the central and right, which are govern by Yeshua’s people, our Lord Jesus Christ for the Judeo-Christians. Some will be fooled, others will not. Many people condemn us, accuses us of innumerable transgressions if we point out some of Mr. Obama’s ties and iniquities, and they even confront us with crushing judgement of bodily harm to us. But, it is moments like these that the divine assurance of Yeshua to keep our country safe and send marvelous pen soldiers, such as Noquarterusa and Cinton4Mcain, Puma and many other warriors of journalist to fight these evildoers that are trying appease the “central” and deceive them. Harken! Do not fall for the “I agree with you attitude from the Obama’s camp” from the left- this is to deceive the elect ones, and to blind their eyes so they can proceed with their agendas.
