Are these the type of people who will be visiting the White House if Barack Obama is elected President?
Fair question, right?
Most Americans are clueless about the depth of Obama’s relationship with William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, unrepentant founders of the terrorist group Weather Underground. When the time came to throw them under the bus, the Senator wasted no time erasing his 13-year relationship with this charming couple. “They’re just folks in the neighborhood,” he said, or something like that.
Truth is, Obama, an ambitious newcomer to Chicago who was eager to meet left-wing power brokers, sought out Ayers and Dohrn and they became friends. In 1995 Ayers and Dohrn hosted Obama at their home for a private fundraising soirée in advance of his first election.
Obama and Ayers served together for years on the board of the Woods Fund, which the Wall Street Journal thinks could be Obama’s “swift boat.” While on the Woods board, the friends collaborated in awarding a grant to another radical associate, former PLO employee Rashid Khalidi.
Today, Ayers is a Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, but he’s still proud of his days as a terrorist in the 70s. The flag-stomping photo, which will haunt Obama for the rest of his political life, was taken just 7 years ago to promote Ayers’ book, about the same time that he told the New York Times that he didn’t regret setting off bombs. (In an eerie stroke of timing, the article was published on 9/11/2001).
Compliant main stream media have enabled Obama to keep such associations under wraps, 
but the Republicans can’t wait until the Ayers ad goes on air. And when it does, Weather Underground will shock Jane and John Q. Voter. I have no doubt that this picture of Ayers desecrating the flag will be featured prominently by the RNC.
My apolitical friend, let’s call him John Q. Voter, saw that photo recently and asked me about it. When I explained who Ayers and Dohrn are, John Q. said: “Obama is friends with them? I’d go running from those people like my house was on fire.”

But should Obama get the nomination, what will moderate and swing voters in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Missouri think of it all? Will they think Obama is able to transcend partisan divisions if he’s been supported by Ayers?
Ayers is not an anomaly, that’s Obama’s problem. Obama has a lifelong history of befriending people (from preachers to his wife) who turn off lunch-bucket voters. That’s his baggage, not our bias. These are his chickens coming home to roost.
If Barack Obama gets elected President, will the taxpayers be hosting Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn at the White House, along with the rest of Obama’s sidelined friends (Wright, Pfleger, Auchi, Khalidi, Farrakhan….)? America would like to know sooner than later.

I think you are missing the Annenberg Challange Grant that Obama and Ayers received to improve education in the Chicago area. The Annenberg Challange was a $500 million grant to improve education in America matched by other funds. Ayers-Obama got the Chicago grant of almost $100 million that was spent promoting their radical agenda. After the money was gone they couldn’t measure any improvement but their radical liberal friends were pleased by the IDEAS they promoted.

For the 735th time, they did not get pardoned by President Clinton. He commuted some sentences. Pardoning and commuting are entirely different.
If you’re talking about the WU, Clinton commuted their sentences after they’d served 16 years in a prison while Bill and Behrnardine went “Guilty as sin, free as a bird.”

Davidson and Hayden take credit for launching the “Venceremos Brigade,” hundreds of young Americans who were covertly transported to Cuba to help harvest sugar cane and mingle with the communist revolutionary leadership in Havana.
Davidson muses about how he could not support John Kerry for president in 2004 because he was not progressive enough. But he is stoked for Obama.
The Hate-America-First crowd has long been in bed with Obama.
And I hate to say this, as an erstwhile lefty myself, but there is a wide swath of “liberal” America which can only validate its self image of superiority, whether in education or class or taste, by denigrating America, Americans, and American products.

Dohrn publicly celebrated the group’s maiming of Chicago prosecutor Richard Elrod in the Chicago riots. In 1970, rich kid Ayers, son of the chairman of Commonwealth Edison, explained what the Weather Underground was all about: “Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that’s where it’s really at.”
Following the mass murders of actress Sharon Tate and others by disciples of Charles Manson, Dohrn had this to say: “Dig it. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, then they even shoved a fork into a victim’s stomach! Wild!” Dohrn went on to suggest adopting a “fork” salute might be appropriate for her fellow homicidal maniacs.

I’m not accusing anyone of being racist. (Although almost everyone is on some level, including myself.) I just think the steady flow of blown out of proportion stories on this site can have a very detrimental effect on ones sanity. If you sat down someone as an experiment and made them read every post on this site from now until November they would be convinced that Obama is some sort of Manchurian candidate that needs to be stopped by any means necessary. I’m not saying that people can’t disagree on policy and tone etc. But this stuff on this site is unhealthy for everyone involved.

I respectfully disagree. It is all about judgement. Iraqi electricity and Commonwealth Electric are not so different, and that’s how Thomas Ayres looked the other way after his son’s terrorism came to light.

Well I guess it depends on your interpetation of “liberalism.” Originally it meant the embracement of science vs religion in academic inst’s. See Baruch Spinoza or David Hume for example.

Black Liberation Theology is marxist and humanist. Humanism and Christianity are incompatible. If you were truly a Christian, you would not think about what color Jesus is. We all see him in our own way. Attacking a whole race of people you see as an oppressive class is naziism. NOI and the Black Panthers have no business in Christ’s church. It is not Christianity.
Wrong again. My guess is that you’ve never read anything about Black Liberation Theology. My encouragement would be for you to pick up a book or speak one-on-one with a pastor or other church leader who espouses Black Liberation Theology. Otherwise, you’re speaking out of just plain ignorance.

Without debating whether one can be both “Christian” and “Marxist,” my immediate response is that Obama is more Marxist/Atheist (inherited from his parents) while his wife Michelle adheres to black liberation theology.

I live in Michigan and I was a DEM for many years, this year the DEMS, the DNC and The Michigan Democratic Party gave my vote to Obama. It is amazing and sickening at the same time. I am a strong supporter of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and believe that all of us have the right to express our opinions, no matter how crazy they may be.
However, Ayers did a lot more than just speak out against America. Now I may be an average American guy from a small town. Maybe I don’t have the open mind of the intelligentsia but when I look at that picture of Ayers stomping OUR flag, I can tell you that my support of free speech is severely tested.

I cannot see this as anything other than a red herring argument. First of all, there’s nothing at all to prove that Ayers would even be invited to the White House. Say way you want about Obama’s judgement, but he would never be dumb enough to invite such controversy. I’m not even completely sure that Ayers would be able to pass the background check to even get into the White House - I hear security is quite tough in that regard.
Second, the picture in question is something we should be celebrating. Burning the flag or desecrating it in any matter is something one can disagree in vehemently, but we should champion someone’s right to do so. Isn’t that one of the Democratic ideals which we should be espousing?

Yes. We should celebrate the fact that our Bill of Rights works as it is supposed to. The Bill of Rights covers all speech, including the protest of burining or descrating the flag. That’s an easy call for a Democrat to make.
Speaking of red herrings…I think most Americans can tolerate such expressions without “celebrating” them, and certainly without implicitly endorsing them by befriending the perpetrator. Is your worldview so black and white world that there are only two extremes: ban something or be BFF with the doer of such?

And you think the military will salute him? How degrading for them! What about police officers and firefighters and teachers and nurses and anyone else who has to go through a background check before getting a job, do you honestly believe they are going to look past these associations and vote for him?

The Chicago Period began in 1985, when some white leftists were looking for someone who could recruit in a black neighborhood in the south side of Chicago and Obama answered a help-wanted ad for a position as a community organizer for the Developing Communities Project (DCP) of the Calumet Community Religious Conference (CCRC) in Chicago. Obama was 24 years old, unmarried, and according to his memoir, searching for a genuine African-American community.
Both the CCRC and the DCP were built on the Alinsky model of community agitation, wherein paid organizers learned how to “rub raw the sores of discontent,” in Alinsky’s words.
Alinsky viewed as supremely important the role of the organizer, or master manipulator, whose guidance was responsible for setting the agendas of the People’s Organization. “The organizer,” Alinsky wrote, “is in a true sense reaching for the highest level for which man can reach — to create, to be a ‘great creator,’ to play God.”
One of Obama’s early mentors in the Alinsky method was Mike Kruglik, who had this to say to an interviewer of The New Republic, about Obama:
“He was a natural, the undisputed master of agitation, who could engage a room full of recruiting targets in a rapid-fire Socratic dialogue, nudging them to admit that they were not living up to their own standards. As with the panhandler, he could be aggressive and confrontational. With probing, sometimes personal questions, he would pinpoint the source of pain in their lives, tearing down their egos just enough before dangling a carrot of hope that they could make things better.”
The agitator’s job, according to Alinsky, is first to bring folks to the “realization” that they are indeed miserable, that their misery is the fault of unresponsive governments or greedy corporations, then help them to bond together to demand what they deserve, and to make such an almighty stink that the dastardly governments and corporations will see imminent “self-interest” in granting whatever it is that will cause the harassment to cease.
In these methods, euphemistically labeled “community organizing,” Obama had a four-year education, which he often says was the best education he ever got anywhere.
For three years Barack Obama was the director of Developing Communities Project, an institutionally based community organization on Chicago’s far south side. He has also been a consultant and instructor for the Gamaliel Foundation, an organizing institute working throughout the Midwest.
And Obama, Ayers, Wright, Rezko et. al., are masters at manipulating the system to enrich themselves at the expense of the downtrodden they supposedly “represent.” Obama and Michelle lived quite well as they climbed the corrupt ladder of success in Illinois politics - “Pay to play,” “The Combine” - where slumlords contribute to their favorite candidates, who contribute to their favorite race-baiting clergymen, who agitate their followers to blame America first, and to vote for candidates who ignore their suffering, instead using their political power (on boards) to enrich themselves and their buddies.
“Operation Board Game” - when will the MSM expose the true story of graft, corruption. and influence peddling in Illinois politics and Obama’s central role in it? When the indictments come down?

Good point. That is exactly my interpretation of Obama, always preaching, scolding, lecturing. Always blaming The People for their own troubles–except blacks of course, who he’s going to put in the lap of luxury with his Faith Based Initiative (FBI) and Neighborhood Project.

Thanks Harp. This should be required reading for all Americans, since it so aptly describes Obama’s campaigning techniques. He is so phony and has stirred up all the worst emotions in his followers. I don’t think he counted on the emotions that he has stirred up in the rest of us. He has wakened the patriotism that has been dormant in us for a while. Now we have to decide how to use this awakening to defeat him before he destroys our country.
