I received a notice from Hillary Grassroots asking me to redirect my donations to her re-election campaign in 2012. And yet here we’re being reminded to help pay her debt down. Anyone know what’s going on?
That may be if you are already over your limit to donate to HRC’s campaign fund.
I did it otherwise she has to return it, I believe she can only transfer her GE contributions to her senate campaign. Anyway if you do this Obama wont get them for sure
On HRC’s web page don’t contribute through the “contribute” button, that’s for the Senate race.
Go down to the “Spotlight” box.
That goes to Hillary Clinton for President and is strictly for paying down the debt.

That is true she is asking to folks to transfer their GE donations to her 2012 senate race, if you have maxed out in the primary and have given extra funds past your 2300.00 it goes to the GE fund unless you request that she returns it to you or you can allow her to transfer it to her 2012 race either senate or what ever she runs for. I let her transfer it I would hate to see her not have the funds for her senate race. If you want more detail go to Heidi Li blog or to the Denver Group and email Heidi or Marc they can explain the contribution rules.

She got mine plus some more and I also bought more Hill stuff. I bought more bumper stickers because someone (I can’t imagine who) scratched my others off my car and a lapel pin to wear next to my flag pin.

Did anyone get the response back from her PAC? I followed a link on a Web page that was devoted to paying off her debt, and got the usual contribute page, but my money seemed to go to Hillary’s PAC. At this point, it is probably the same endeavor. I certainly hope so. I don’t want Hillary to HAVE to appear on the same stage with Presumptuous any more than necessary.

I did that the other day, too, and did not get the usual confirmation back. I didn’t really pay attention to it being her PAC, either. I sure HOPE it goes to paying off her debt (and I would think so since I got there from her website). Interesting change, though…
word out is if you feel iffy about the donation then send a separate email through the contact url and cut and paste the receipt and tell her it’s for ‘pay down the debt’
To pay down the debt, don’t use the “contribute” button.
Go to the “Spotlight” box.
That goes to pay down the debt.
The link on Heidi’s site takes to to a contribute spot that in the box you check off says

Update: the page that the contribute link takes you to says the first $2,300 automatically goes to the primary.
So even if your reciept is from Friends of Hillary Clinton Pac, if you’re under $2,300 total it goes to pay down the debt.
Let BO pay off her debt. He stole the nomination from her anyway. Make him pay!
I gave to Hillary repeatedly when she was running. But how do we know the money is going to pay off her debt?

I guess we don’t…the other day when I was getting the link to give to Hillary for the 4th for my blog, when I went to her site the banner said Help pay off or down Hillary’s debt…today it has the Happy Independence Day banner up but there is a small thing under:

Just hoping that a dent has been made, especially today - I’ve given a lot since she ‘conceded’ because I don’t want her to have to grovel - I just pray for an announcement before Denver that her debt was retired - INCLUDING the money she lent her campaign (that’d be a nice Obamayousuckass to send out)
It felt good doing that again…I hope what we all gave today made a huge dent…I would like to see it gone before Denver so the DNC could see she still has our support.

I’ve talked with 2 bobo supporters in the past 2 weeks that actually believed he VOTED AGAINST the Iraq War Resolution! I had to explain the fact that he wasn’t in the senate. I’m dumbfounded.
I know I read a piece this week that said he voted against it and that is why they will forgive him all his flip flop’s….I left a comment that he did not vote against it…he wasn’t even in the senate….How can people still write this lie…why are people dumb enough to believe it?

She has NOT conceded, just suspended, which means she still has her pledged delegates. She is not campaigning actively, but can still be nominated in the event something unexpected happens. That’s why the DNC and Obama are scared and want to take her off the ballot in Denver. That’s why it is so very important she is not beholden of Obama or the DNC to retire her primary debt. That’s why the Denver Group is so paramount. The contributions today are a wonderful way to show support, such a good idea to celebrate INDEPENDANCE! I hope we find out soon how much it amounts to.

because they’re into sound bites, not facts. It’s astounding how many people have gotten passionate about bobo, yet didn’t look at his record at all - just bought into the Hope & Change rhetoric. Same thing happened here in MA with Deval Patrick - people were so sick of the Romney effect on MA that he had an open canvas here - the only thing he’s truly accomplished to date is making our public beaches nicer…. ‘wow’.
The beaches were nice anyway..I’m going to Vegas to party and then Cape Cod for a good Atlantic spiritual swim, then on my way back to the West a stop off in Denver for the convention..I’ll be fully healed after that swim in the Atlantic and ready to jingle my keys and picket. Darragh is taking names for tickets to the convention. Front row seats anyone?

My reasons for not voting for Obama have nothing to do with the color of his skin…I don’t give a hoot about that…I look at the candidates record…and the company they keep…I don’t find much that Obama has ever really done for anyone, I think he left a lot of mess in Ill. now look how he has “changed” all most everything he ran on in the primary…it was always said he and Hillary were so close on there policies…is he trying to do the same with McCain now?…ever moving to the right…and sitting in that church and all of his mentors, friends, well that just turns me off and my mind will never change…

That phrase has more importance today than any time in recent history.
Especially for those who were formerly Democrats: who either were thrown under the bus by the Chicago Combine, or those who voluntarily declared they were no longer Democrats on May 31, 2008 (or before or later) because the Democratic Party no longer represented the ideals on which it was founded.
For all those who are either no longer Democrats or those who are hanging on to the shredded remnants of what was once the Democratic Party in hopes that they may realize in Denver the reconstitution of the party, one thing you have in common is your Independence.
You have your Independence from the Tyranny of Oppression by the Will of the Party Elites.
You have your Independence of Thought, Word and Deed.
You have your Independence from Undemocratic Processes.
You have your Independence to declare a New Union.
No matter how you arrived at the point where you declared your Independence from the oppression of Donation Without Representation (a voluntary form of taxation) and Election Without Representation (called Voter Suppression), you are now part of a New Union.
A New Union formed of Independent Thinkers who oppose the Party Elites in their call for Party Unity.
This New Union recognizes that this so-called Party Unity is nothing more than a guise for; a Winning at all Costs Coalition that will therein destroy the once Noble Democratic Party.
This New Union understands that real Unity is the shared idea that placing Country before Party is the truest and most noble voice of Independence and Democracy!
I salute you all today, you New Union of true American Independents.
