Assuming Barack Obama is the nominee, and PUMAs continue to reject him and the Democratic Party - and assuming they do not embrace the conservative ideology - then it seems that to get elected to Congress without fully accepting the party you are running with, you would need to do a bit of sneaking. As I think is clear from my piece - I'm not afraid of PUMAs and I think they may be a force that has some staying power.
