Not Illegal But Is It Moral?

One thing they omit was that the challenging of petitions was done on the last day depriving the others of a response. Obama sent in a team of lawyers and they stayed until everyone was off the ballot, not just Alice Palmer, but everyone.

There is no such thing as coincidences in Chicago politics. Blair Hull, Jack Ryan, Alice Palmer. I might add John Edwards to that list. Who leaked the haircut story? Who worked for John Edwards previously but now works for Obama?

From my blog, By The Fault.

Obama and the Obamamites don’t care if it is moral or not because they have none. They are still reciting the mantra that their master won-doesn’t matter that he cheated to do it.

Comment by BJ | 2008-07-17 07:49:04

if the people in this country had any sense, (which they don’t because they put bush near the wH in 2000 not fully vetting him), they’d be scared shitless of what obama really is.

amazes the hell outta me that people are so damned blind and don’t seem to care or realize what is happening here-

i have no doubt there is big money behind obama’s campaign that doesn’t get seen by the public and the kind of power brokers that they don’t want the public to know about

Taking control of Government by storming the institutions.

History is chocked full of examples, none have turned out very well for the people.

I am reminded of the Republicans who stormed the Court House in Palm Beach during the 2000 election cycle, and the flood of Lawyers who desended on Tallahassie, the Atlanta Circuit Court, and protestors at the V.P. Residence in D.C.

All very coordinated.

Do you remember how Bush assumed POTUS even before the courts decided the matter. The transition team.

Yes this all gives me deja vue.

Comment by JozefAL | 2008-07-17 10:52:41

Well, there was also a very complicit media which constantly peppered articles with “President-elect Bush” from the day following the General Election all the way to the Supreme Court’s decision. Gore was always described as being a “challenger” (whether with that word or a similar word).
The media used the 2000 Election to set themselves up as the “kingmaker”, remarking how friendly and folksy and down-to-earth Bush was but using terms like aloof and intellectual when describing Gore. Where Bush was “personable”, Gore was “standoffish”.

“i have no doubt there is big money behind obama’s campaign that doesn’t get seen by the public and the kind of power brokers that they don’t want the public to know about”

Hahaha, conspiracy theorists unite! and 9/11 was a setup by our government!

I think the best evidence of your theory is reflected in Bacrackhead Oblowme’s newly released fundraising numbers- the average donation decreased from an average of $100 in February (his previous highest raising month) to $68 in June (his 2nd highest month).
The bastard has those billionaires locked up in his back pocket, I tell ya.

Comment by Faustina | 2008-07-17 10:11:30

The scientific evidence clearly shows that the Twin Towers came down by controlled demolition. If they weren’t set up as part of the attack on 9/11, then they were pre-wired perhaps as a direct result of the first attack on the Twin Towers. That would be a plausible explanation if the Port Authority or whoever thought that the structural stability of the Towers would be so undermined by any reattack that it would be “cost-effective” and/or safer to bring the Towers down by controlled demolition rather than bear the cost of either repair or piecemeal demolition. In any case, the order to demolish the buildings would have had to have come from the top and whoever gave it has blood on his hands.

As for the money pouring in Obama’s campaign, I myself don’t pay a whole lot of attention to numbers because they can always, repeat ALWAYS be manipulated. I think it is obvious by looking at the big picture that there is some serious power, which in this day and age means money, behind Obama. How else could a nobody nothing from the back streets of Chicago get the political support he has. It isn’t because of his so-called charisma, talent, accomplishments, oratorical skills, wisdom, honor, or any substantive character or quality.

He is a paid puppet.

“If we want to win we have to ACT like republicans.”
and “Anyone but Clinton.”

That was the early mantra at many progressives sites before the primary even started. The thuggery and anti-Clinton talking points was used by most of the progressives who did not pick Clinton, long before Obama became Clinton’s only competition.

If Obama’s campaign was behind the ’sabotage’ of Edwards, Biden, Dodd , Richardson, Kucinich etc., it would be an interesting investigation and might open the idiots in the democratic congress.

Comment by Dawnelle | 2008-07-17 08:20:11

Ya know, you are 100 percent correct about how the DNC (especially the open thread bloggers) felt about HILLARY long before BO open his big old can of stink!

I think I am more angry with Donna, DFA, MoveOn & the RULES & BYlaws NON committee than I am at BO.

They had me chiming right along with them that Hillary was never anyone’s first choice over there. I never bothered to even check her out very much until the FIRST INSULT after the FIRST or 2nd DEBATE

“you’re likable enough Hillary”

oh man that just pisssssssssssed me off BIG TIME!!!!! (things started getting deleted) it has not stopped! Woe Betide the Democrats! Right Perry? lol ;-)

—————————————–
I never knew or felt the depth of Anything But Clinton until primaries unfolded this year…came as one of many earsplitting shockwaves.
Not sure if BO sabotaged the also-ran’s campaigns - I think they ALL ganged up on Hillary after she consistently hit it outta the park in the debates - The ‘guys’ couldn’t take it so they piled on. At first, it wasn’t that obvious…but by the last debate - when all were still on stage - it was clear not even Biden would support her.
She won by all measures with her hands tied behind her back and only Bill, Chelsea, her campaign team and US!
The Act Republican part is chilling.

Obama was not behind it, but he benefited and LET it stand.

It became crystal clear when they were down to three: the MSM ignored Edwards out of the race so they could get their Black Man vs. White Woman match that they wanted. And divide the two biggest constituencies the Dems have.

Comment by Dan | 2008-07-17 08:03:04

I think they see it more like “We have complete faith that Obama is going to be the right President, so we support any means to get to the ends of having the ‘right president’ elected”.

The trouble is, it does seem to take blind faith to not see why he is not suitable for this job!

Comment by Betty | 2008-07-17 09:05:39

I remember reading on Open Left about how he agreed with Digby that even though Obama’s Health Care Plan was sadly lacking, once they got him elected they could hold his feet to the fire to get a better one.
I wrote a comment about how he kicked the South Side voters to the curb after he was elected to the state senate, then he kicked the anti-war activist to the curb after he got elected to the US Senate and I asked them what on earth made them think they could hold Obama’s feet to the fire. Kicked to the curb/tossed under the bus, think of the list I could make now.

Thing is I’m not smart nor did I follow politics that much, I just recognized an Obama when I saw one.

Comment by Zee | 2008-07-17 16:44:02

Good point, Betty. I was sneery and dubious from the start when they were swooning over a mediocre speech at the 2004 convention, but I watched and waited. And sure enough….the second Obama hit the US Senate, same old, same old. No fiery antiwar stance, nothing. So I was majorly unimpressed.

Then, when Edwards led the way to boycott the Fox debate, Obama the waffler kept his finger in the air measuring which way the wind blew before FINALLY getting on board….some leader. I was justified in sneery and unimpressed.

It wasn’t until he gave that interview trashing the Clinton presidency and extolling REAGAN and Reagan’s SOUTHERN STRATEGY and called Hillary “likable enough” that I knew I detested him….and subsequent research has borne out that he is the rankest of opportunists and a fraud.

If the public doesn’t see it on TV or in the headlines they don’t ever see it until it’s too late. We are a small portion of the voting public and we are the ones who care enough to really research the facts. If the message doesn’t get out, in a big, obvious, loud, meaningful blast then it will be a tough go for McCain due to OB campaign and behind the scene financiers. He better fight fire with fire and start soon. As has been stated, this probably won’t happen until after the conventions. The general public is not tuning in to most of the stuff going on now and won’t unless it is plastered all over the media. We are the lucky ones who know already why OB should never get near the WH. I sure hope we can get our message across to some voters who don’t have accesss to the things we have access to. Hope this is successful and I for one am trying hard to convey this to everyone I can. If Hillary somehow got back into the race as the dem candidate then things will change because everyone knows her and her record without having to broadcast it everywhere. She and McCain are well known. OB can still hide because no one knows him yet and all they see is the glare. He and his minions can still sneak in the shadows to do bad things to our country and what we believe in. People need to know and right now.

Comment by Zee | 2008-07-17 16:49:01

This is true, chris, but the heartbreaking thing is how our compatriots in the so-called REALITY-BASED community, refused to look at the facts, vet, research and THINK, choosing instead to embrace a FRAUD just like the Bushites did, simply because he was SOLD as their BRAND.

film by Geert Wilders–quite long but must be seen

He’s a Dutch writer who is now under protection from the Islamists in the Netherlands.

This is the film that has the EU and the muslim world with their pants in a wad.. Most websites have removed it, including You Tube. All bowing to threats. Google still has it posted as of today but, will probably bow to pressure soon. It is about 16 minutes long but, worth the time.

Can be a little tough to watch in spots. But this is what we are up against . I think we better get REAL serious.

No we see your sarcasm. So now you admit that you’re only here to mock instead of adding comments to a discussion. Is that what the Obama message is? Go around and mock people? That’s Obama’s idea of a good time? Is that how Obama gets his jollies? Mocking people with passive aggressive sarcasm? That’s not the kind of person I want in the White House. We need a leader, not a childish bully.

I would hazard a guess that the feeling is mutual Dave. The Obama supporters I have encountered are rude, vulgar, vile and just plain mean. I don’t hang out with people like that Dave, no matter what letter of the alphabet goes on their voter registration card D or R. I don’t think it matters anymore democrat or republican. I admit, I used to think that too. Sadly, this primary season it seems the division is not that simple. Perhaps the qualifier will be an Obamademocrat and a Hillarydemocrat. I for one will continue a nice dialogue with Hillarydemocrats and I guess continue to be insulted and annoyed by obamademocrats.

I believe the event she was describing was reported by Larry Sinclair and there was even a press conference about it before the Obama thugs had him hauled off. Many death threats against Larry from what I understand. Obama followers like to make death threats don’t they Dave. Dave why do you associate with people who make death threats against Americans who practice free speech? Dave, why do you hate free speech? Dave, the threats, with the exception of Larry, are made against women in particular. Dave, why do you hate women? Or is it women who speak out? Or women who disagree with you?

Why do you associate with felons I must ask?

Oh yeah, found some more (and I apologize for not being able to find a post that identifies Obama as both gay AND a Muslim). Why individual references to each is not good enough is beyond me, but then again, nothing is ever good enough for you guys.

The commenters were comparing what is known about obama and his family and how that can be embellished to make satire. One comment was from a troll, Undercover Blackman. Anyway, Dave you can’t compare apples and oranges here Dave. My original comment was about your use of the word idiot. Dave I’ve been on this blog when it’s pretty much troll free. Gendercide and Gender enslavement must not be tolerated.

Islam can either adapt to HUMAN STANDARDS. Or die.

Killing, maiming and enslaving women is no “religion of peace” as I’ve seen some here still refer to Islam as. As IF.

I was called (at work, no less) by an Obamabot asking for money. He was very pushy and wouldn’t say exactly how he got my work phone number. I said “I don’t take political calls at work so please mail me an envelope to send a contribution.” He wanted me to commit to an amount on the phone. He literally argued with me, refusing to take ‘no’ for an answer. It went on for … well, it would’ve gone on forever if I hadn’t ended the call.

I think this is one way they cook their numbers. They try to force people to commit to a number on the phone, and just like the public radio stations with their pledges, they can now “count” that contribution even if there’s no check in the bank, or even in the mail.

In the below email to supporters this morning, campaign manager David Plouffe announced that the Obama campaign raised a total of $52 million in the month of June with an average donation of just $68. Combined, the Obama campaign and the DNC have a total of nearly $72 million cash on hand.

I don’t believe Obamas campaign raised that much money in June - especially since this was an email to supporters. I have read in several places where it was only about 30 million - this is proganda created by the campaign so their supporters won’t be worried. In other words BS.

Then for some inexplicable reason Kellie (who quite possibly has anger issues) started spewing insults! Go back and read the post Dave. “My friends”:

Obama will be the next President.

Hillary will never be President.

I am sympathetic that you are going through the 5 stages of grief. Acceptance is coming, don’t worry.

In your dreams.

Comment by destardi | 2008-07-17 09:08:37

Wow. obamabushbot.

Comment by Catherine | 2008-07-17 09:48:17

Your candidate is corrupt- hope that makes you proud.

Comment by splashy | 2008-07-17 13:15:19

Of so, we kiss universal health care goodbye, and more people will die every year because of it.

Doesn’t that make you feel good? All those poor and almost poor people dying because of your candidate?

Yes, Obama is truly running away with the election with his 3-4 percent lead at the moment. He is such a run away hit with America! I would not count your chickens before they hatch. Besides, those of us who are not pro Obama will not be jailed if he gets elected — oh, you know, based on his Chicago antics, perhaps we WILL all be exiles — ok, I just scared myself . . .

Comment by Dawnelle | 2008-07-17 08:47:33

yea and we all forget the ASS KISSERS for BOBO get “brownie points” when we respond to their nasty asses!!

I say ignore the fecal matter or flush it.

Comment by btintaos | 2008-07-17 09:18:47

Yes, July–before the Republican war machine smashes your beloved Bobo. If it obliterated Kerry, who kept much of the Democratic base and who didn’t get his butt kicked in the primary (don’t kid yourself, Hillary won the popular vote), then what do you think it will do to Bobo? Play nice? Say, “Never mind, we won’t destroy him because we see the light?” They are not going to be chanting OMbama, that’s for sure. No, the republicans have plenty of material that Bobo himself has given them.

You are fighting the losing battle.

Comment by Dave | 2008-07-17 09:47:35

That stat is bull Kellie- why I read right on this blog that latinos will never vote for OCrackhead because Latinos hate ‘the blacks’!

Obamamamabis campaign rigged all of those polls!

Just listen to Dawnelle- she’s willing to bet anyone here he won’t even win 11 states!

Comment by CATscratchfever | 2008-07-17 09:50:43

listen you idiot, i live in calif. northern rural calif. is not going for obasm and hes not raising any money or votes here. so, stfu.

Comment by Dave | 2008-07-17 09:56:17

Haha man Obama’s really gonna miss all those electoral votes from “northern rural California”

Man I wish they’d just change the rules and give ALL of the electoral votes for a state to the candidate that wins it. Then Obambi could have a chance in CA- otherwise he’s toast. I mean, seriously, I saw a poll yesterday showing McCain up 98 to 2 in CA!!!

Comment by DeaninMI | 2008-07-17 10:15:15

I totally agree with you Dave!!!

Obama certainly has benefited from the “rules being changed”!

Hell. Why even have an election? Why don’t we all just bow down to him now?!

We’ve tried that nerdy democracy thing, howzabout trying that monarchy thing??? (I think we should vote on it.)

Trinity Co? Winecountry Ca for me. I saw more Ron Paul signs in Eureka…than anything else.

CATscratchfever, on behalf of imustprotest, would you please stop injecting hate into this blog? Only trolls like me can do that here.

Thank you for your understanding.

Comment by imustprotest | 2008-07-17 09:54:30

California is not going to vote for a republican so of course Obama will do well in California. He lost the primary though, even after Oprah and Caroline did their stage show with Maria Shriver. Ha ha!

Comment by TeakWoodKite | 2008-07-17 11:28:26

imustprotest; Ca will be a VERY close race.
BO will have to spend more time and money here.

Comment by imustprotest | 2008-07-17 11:46:13

Well, if Oblahma is the nominee after August I plan to work for McCain here in California. We have a republican governor, you know ARNOLD but it’s a very liberal state. I hope you’re right that it’s close here in CA but the polls I’ve seen suggest otherwise.

Comment by TeakWoodKite | 2008-07-17 12:04:14

I am in Ca as well and as you said, For the first time in my life, I will work for McCain. Polls have BO ahead at the moment.

That’s an odd comment Dave. Are you feeling well? Teakwood and I were having a perfectly nice chat. Why did you feel compelled to respond in that manner? Are you really Kellie? I haven’t seen many comments from her lately and you seem very hostile like Kellie. Making weird out of nowhere comments like that seems very odd Dave. I recommend a nice cup of tea. That may calm you down.

too bad for you your comments are nothing but laughing points.

don’t cry in your koolaid dearie. and please change your diapers, they stink.

Comment by Heather | 2008-07-17 10:45:15

Kellie, you aren’t reading the polls are you? Oblahma’s numbers are sinking fast and the big mainstream outlets (NYT, etc.) are becoming disenchanted. Not nearly as much drooling idolatry as we saw back in the “let’s all bash Hillary!” days. We’re looking at a trend here … stay tuned.

Comment by imustprotest | 2008-07-17 11:10:32

I agree Heather. The trends are downward. That’s why the bots are here trying to spin and spin the numbers. They are worried in camp Obama and they should be.

****HOLD THE F*CK UP****

Remember the last 8 years of the “mainstream media” NOT REPORTING TRUTHFULLY, or INVESTIGATING BUSH!?!?!?!!?!? Was all of bush’s crap and failed policies “a joke”? Is that why they didn’t report and investigate deeper?!?

My GOD you’re a moron.

As if your comment is true; it’s ONLY important if it reflects positively on YOUR candidate, who is an empty suited, CROOK.

JUST LIKE A REPUBLICAN, bushbot, huh obamabushbot?!

But I guess what you typed, and understanding what I wrote is beyond you.

Good luck!

Comment by Karma | 2008-07-17 11:03:55

Yup, they can’t see that the same media that sold them Dubya and the war…is selling them Obama.

Most sane people would be concerned…lol
