Blog radio at 9 p.m. ET tonight: “Meet Me in Denver with Murphy & Friends”

Meet Me in Denver with Murphy & Friends: Catch Darragh Murphy’s premiere show tonight, and every Saturday night, from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET, LIVE on NoQuarter Radio.

Murphy, a politically active blogger in Boston, Massachusetts, is the founder of blog.PUMAPac.org, a federally registered political action committee. PUMA stands for People United Means Action.

If you found yourself during the primary campaign disheartened, discouraged, or disgusted by the actions and inactions, the divisiveness and discriminations of the Democratic party, the press, the mainstream blogs, and many political leaders — you will feel at home here!  Listen here for all the latest news about the ground game to get us to Denver.

Larry Johnson and I have featured Darragh twice at No Quarter. Larry Johnson’s must-read post — chock full of information and revelations — was “Barack is not Qualified.” Here’s the video Larry posted:

Here’s the video I posted the next day in “PUMA’s Darragh Murphy Today on Fox & Friends” on June 25, 2008:

Allow me to reiterate: Read Larry Johnson’s post, “Barack is not Qualified.”

Happy little Republican failures together.

How much has Darragh donated to Democrats again?

Comment by Sharon | 2008-07-19 12:47:27

It’s so easy and satisfying for you bots to call us all “republicans,” isn’t it? Every democrat or former democrat who knows what Obama, the DNC, and their minions in the media and the netroots have done to pervert the Democratic party and subvert this democracy - and then has the “audacity” to call you on it - gets called the “most dreaded word” - republican!

You are laughable. You idiots don’t even know the difference between Democrats and Republicans. You don’t have any idea what a Democrat is (or should be). We do. We are, or have been, Democrats - for reasons that are lightyears beyond your intellectual or spiritual or moral capacity to understand - or even give a sh*t about.

It’s just all about the name-calling for you. It’s all about the threats you can make from some “anonymous” location. It’s all about the sheer joy you take in your nastiness and your depravity and your immaturity. A mentally healthy adult could never ever write or say the things you bots do.

Maybe when your precious loses, you (and precious, the head bot) will do some long-needed soul searching. But I doubt it…

There’s nothing wrong with disliking Barack Obama, either. I’m just going to say it. He comes off as a nice person, but his unpreparedness for the role of leader of the free world can be picked apart on so many levels. I have not heard of one reason to vote for him but “re-branding the nation in the mold of soft power.” I have more respect for the office of POTUS and this country itself. He can come back in 4 years or send another civil rights spokesman, preferably without a rap sheet.

Comment by Hope Floats | 2008-07-19 11:51:22

Nice person all sexism and race-baiting notwithstanding. I know that’s politics, but it was a new low. All the talk about hope was rubbing salt in it.

Comment by wodiej | 2008-07-19 12:10:11

a nice person doesn’t do the shit Obama did, I have to disagree. He may appear to be charming but alot of charming people are the complete opposite of their true colors. Race card, sexism, sitting in a racist, anti American church while his daughters sat and watched the Reverend make gyrating hip movements? No, not a nice person. And a stupid dishonest one at that.

Comment by Grail Guardian | 2008-07-19 12:50:00

I use this litmus test:

Would you want to leave him alone in a room with your child?

Not unless you want them to come out rather twisted and an idol worshiper. Sorry Hope Floats- not a nice guy. Nice guys don’t lie 24/7.

Comment by B from Bloomington | 2008-07-19 14:55:35

Leave him alone in a room with a child? I envision a screaming child whose lollipop has been ripped from it’s hand and replaced with a condom… Nope wouldn’t leave him alone in a room with a child.

I dont see charming, he comes off arrogant and condescending to me. Like an anthropologist looking at Americans as interesting subjects..

Comment by NoBamaNoWay | 2008-07-19 16:31:13

exactly; one really gets the impression that he doesn’t consider himself to be “one of us” (american).

I remember all the interviews of the people, that knew the guys from 911,also, that said they were really nice guys. That’s the way there trained. Next attacks will come from the inside.imo
Vote Clinton or MCcain, there a safer bet

Sadly the DNC has forgotten the right of people to vote. Never before in our history have votes been taken from one candidate and given to another.

Never before have delegates been awarded a candidate who did not win them by the representative voting of thier constituets.

In November you must remember.

It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.

Never before has a candidate had a committee write the rules and because they get all menopausal about it demand that they are changed. I guess that is what happens if you run an inadequate white woman.

I just got a hold of an early draft of Obama’s Berlin speech. In it he signals a major shift in his position on “Hope and “Change”. As I understand it, “Unity” ls also under review.

Comment by Dawnelle | 2008-07-19 12:14:13

The problem must be in the definitions of these words.

On the Barry Ship of Fools Dreams (cough) the words HOPE and CHANGE and UNITY could be as different as say the word for cigarettes in jolly old England.

Not at ALL the same.

Comment by TeaMug | 2008-07-19 12:18:36

Anyway can we see and read this early draft of Obama’s Berlin speech.

links, proof, fact, truth.

And anyway, I doubt Obama wrote it himself, it would have been one of his trollops. Those ones who don’t know there arse from their elbow.

His Hubris has decided to lecture Europe on personal responsibility, too.

No free ride for Europe, says top Barack Obama aide

This is offensive. You don’t go to another country (continent) as a candidate and inform them that they will all be working for you. As a President you wouldn’t even approach diplomacy like that.

Comment by katmandu | 2008-07-19 12:41:33

Exactly right, yttik. This is the same inexperience and hubris that cause the Brandenburg Gate debacle.

Report: Obama will meet French opposition

When Obama’s aides yesterday detailed his planned foreign meetings to reporters, they included key figures in the British Tories and the German Social Democrats, as well as the Israeli left and right (along with meetings with those countries top elected leaders).

But the Paris tabloid Le Parisienne reports today that he will meet a delegation from the Socialists next Friday, though the details aren’t clear and none of the top figures in that party’s leadership fight is listed, but rather a longer shot for leadership who comes from the right of the party, Manuel Valls.

The campaign didn’t immediately confirm or deny.

Comment by ginaswo still says no Uhhbama | 2008-07-19 13:15:03

the socialists always seem to make the top of his to do lists

The Washington Post editorial tells Obama to start practicing what he’s preaching about campaign finance transparency:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/07/18/AR2008071802595.html?hpid=opinionsbox1

IT WASN’T so long ago — last September, to be specific — that a senator with a particular interest in campaign finance reform introduced a bill to provide important transparency in presidential campaigns. The measure, S. 2030, would require presidential campaigns to report the names of fundraisers who bring in “bundles” of individual contributions totaling $50,000 or more. The campaigns would have to report the occupations of the bundlers and the specific amounts they are credited with raising. This was a terrific idea. It’s too bad that the bill’s sponsor, Barack Obama, is failing to follow the rules he set out.

And etc. It knocks McCain, too, but Obama more.
