“I Am The One I’ve Been Waiting For”

Shamelessly stolen from The Real Barack Obama’s Freedom Fairy:

It seems that Sen. Obama’s dream of delivering a speech before thousands in front of the Brandenburg Gate, the very same place where two great American presidents—John Fitzgerald Kennedy and Ronald Reagan—have so proudly stood, is not to be.

And so, it seems that Barack Changeling Obama shall have to wait for another day to further stoke his delusional Narcissistic fantasy that he is JFK. This is especially hard on the poor child, particularly since he has put so much effort into the design of his personal logo that just never seems to really catch on with his stupid, mean and bitter American subjects. Not to mention all those Goddamned HO’s. Thank Zeus that The Great One has special opportunistic friends to be there for him at this time of undeserved disappointment.

After having Seized delegates that didn’t belong to him, and after having Seized The Nomination and the DNC, one would think that we ungrateful Americans would render unto “Seizer” that which is Rightfully His.

Comment by Elizabeth Reilly | 2008-07-19 10:38:31

It would be amazing if he truly understood the disillusionment that his actions are causing among his cult members. I’ve no doubt that many will hold onto whatever thin delusions they still have until the bitter end (am I permitted to use that word?!!!)
They’ll either continue to ignore the growing evidence of his wrongdoing, political chicanery, backstabbing, doubletalking and lying, or they’ll come up with truly laughable lame excuses….always, of course bearing in mind that this is all Hillary’s fault!!!

Every day he shows more clearly to rational people across this nation that he is a neophyte when it comes to understanding people. He thinks that his speeches should be carved in a stone ala God’s Commandments to the people. I see this growing megalomania as a growing sickness in him and he is simply and fully not to be trusted with the fate of this nation. Too many worked too hard to let it slip away into the hands of this pathetic little man who thinks of himself as beyond reproach, somewhat holy, perhaps, and (I mention here his civilian security forces, or whatever he is calling his latest attempt to develop his own private army in America)we could well be on the verge of a power grab ala the South American coup-variety. Far fetched? Look at how he has manipulated the DNC, the election, the caucuses, the press, etc., etc.
Think again.

Comment by mahaska | 2008-07-19 11:00:35

I think a lot of the creeps that are supposedly his followers aren’t. I think they are just street punks that like to bully people.
The gangs have got such a death grip on the south side, the people die in their locked up apartments because they are afraid to open their windows in heat waves.
To paraphrase Mrs. bo, if you can’t run your own district, how can you run the white house?

obama must QUIT!!!!

Comment by Zee | 2008-07-19 12:27:29

It’s all Rovian win-win for the elite.

Comment by Diana | 2008-07-19 14:43:34

Someone compared it to McGovern, but I don’t remember people average voters getting death threats to their whole family during the McGovern race, if they said anything bad about McGovern. If they refused to vote for McGovern. These people are rabid. They’re acting like radical Muslims. Look how they got over a cartoon!! He has set race relations back in this country. Jesse Jackson didn’t even do that when he ran. I had a friend I’ve been friends with for over 15 years that is no longer a friend. When the primaries began we teased each other back and forth. Continued to do so for a long time. I don’t even know who she is now. She went to one rally and was completely different the next day. No more teasing. I said what the hell they piping sublimal messages over those speakers, listen to yourself!

Will any of the three cheerleaders (anchors of the once big three networks) dare ask him about any hard-hitting, relevant questions on his tour? Like, what is his response to this news?

By GEORGE JAHN, Associated Press Writer
1 hour, 3 minutes ago

GENEVA - Iran on Saturday ruled out freezing its uranium enrichment program, casting doubt over the value of its talks with six world powers less then an hour after they started.

Or his response to today’s NYT article by Benny Morris that Isreal will strike Iran’s nuclear facilities between November 2008 and January 2009, and if conventional weapons don’t take them out, Isreal will have to use nuclear weapons?

Go over to The Real Barack Obama and see the bargaining chip Obama has come up with in a last ditch effort to speak in front of that gate. Sometimes I truly feel like I’m stuck in the Twilight Zone as I try to process that BO is actually a presidential candidate. Or when I see (in the media) that Obama is on a “World Tour” (like a rock star!) instead of a foreign trip. Or the breathless slam of McCain for allegedly leaking “details” of BO’s travel plans. I figured out he’d be there this weekend. I don’t think anyone needed John McCain to “leak” the probablility that the BIG WORLD TOUR would begin today.

The Real Barack Obama is a great site that I visit daily for info, giggles and a great roundup of blog and news articles. Our wonderful Uppity Woman is linked there often.

Comment by s. hall | 2008-07-19 10:33:01

Indy — Yesterday Obama said he NEVER wanted to speak at the Brandenburg Gate because he knew it would create such a problem he was content to go elsewhere.

Now he’s still trying to get that venue. This is the most arrogant man ever to run for the Presidency and if its one thing that most Americans hate its arrogance.

Comment by Indy | 2008-07-19 10:41:35

His poll numbers are slipping too, no matter how hard the media shoves him in our faces every day. I didn’t know he denied wanting to speak at the gate…but that is typical Barack, isn’t it?

I was just reading about death threats against Puma’s, and how one PUMA was the victim of arson in the last few days. The PUMAPAC website has a list of who has received death threats. It’s down some on the front page. Arrogant Thug and Criminal.

Comment by mahaska | 2008-07-19 12:18:20

Once upon a Time…I was sitting in a small room in SE Florida with a low-level Federal Prosecutor who informed me that the only thing between Me and a lengthy stay at Marion was him.

I told him to kiss my ass, that I had enough kinfolk from Terre Haute to Crawfordsville that I’d be rolling up some Wabash Green and drinking Famous Grouse INSIDE Marion before he got his next BJ.

Dumb f***er didn’t know how to bluff. I raised his Empty Threat with a visit from Roy Black, and was having brunch with a very nice, healthy Cuban lady of my acquaintance at Joe’s Stone Crabs before he was done filling out his time sheet for the interview.

catherine — When McCain took 2 trips to the middle east not one reporter accompanied him. Now they are as giddy as children at the prospect of this free trip. Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought reporters traveled all the time for the jobs. Your right — this fawning has got to stop — never has so much been made of someone worth so little. But it won’t stop next week as the 3 Network News Anchors tell us how the rest of the world will change because they have caught a glimpse of Obama’s face.

Comment by Catherine | 2008-07-19 11:34:29

And what is sad is that the MSM media thinks what they are reporting is significant news. Barak Obama is making his FIRST trip to this part of the world- he is a kindergartener when it comes to the learning curve on the IQAQ and Afghanistan dilemmas. There are those who think a “kindergartener” should be POTUS- this is newswothy and we should all get a nice warm and fuzzy and feel secure because Obama is going to IRAQ for the first time.Unbelieveable. Obama has become the new “Anna Nicole Smith”.

I’ve been following politics since 1960 and I’ve never seen anything close to this in America, maybe a DICTARTORSHIP or BANANA REPUBLIC. I’ve always voted for DEMS but never again, they don’t understand what DEMOCRACY means, I will be doing all I can to prevent Obama from getting the job of DECIDER and will support McCain, at least he does like this country, unlike Obama and his wife and his friends. I do have new respect for Merkel, however. She and Germany apparently aren’t as dumb as America.

The DNC should be arrested for letting such an arrogant azz even run. Will August be too soon to get rid of this colossal joke?

>>> She and Germany apparently aren’t as dumb as America.

I think it’s more like, “That movie has played here already.”

Makes you wonder who will liberate US from Obama’s Domestic Security Force concentration camps, doesn’t it?
