Demand a Roll Call Vote

One of the central premises of IOwnMyVote.com is that the 18 million people who voted for Hillary Clinton deserve full and fair representation at the convention.  This means, if nothing else, that the delegates who we elected must be allowed to represent us and vote at the convention, and that Hillary herself must have a prominent role.

That said, the issue of what to do with Hillary Clinton at the convention next month is causing all sorts of hand wringing in Obamaland.  The reason?  In the words of Yogi Berra, it ain’t over until the fat lady sings.  In this case, the fat lady is the 823 superdelegates who won’t “sing” until they vote during the roll  call at the convention.

In order to win the Democratic nomination for President, a candidate needs 2,118 delegates.  Obama only has 1,766.5 pledged delegates, about 350 short of what he needs to clinch victory.  Since superdelegates haven’t voted yet, Obama can’t be sure that he’ll have their support six weeks from now, especially while he continues to disappoint and enrage Democrats with his pandering to the right.  With Newsweek declaring a dead heat between Obama and McCain, and the Rasmussen Tracking Poll showing Obama ahead by only 2 points, and a CNN poll shows that 32% of all Clinton supporters won’t vote for president if Obama is the nominee (up from 22% a month ago), the Obama campaign is right to believe that superdelegates might not vote as expected if given the opportunity to do so in Denver.

All this moved Clinton turncoat Taylor Marsh to go on a scolding rant against democracy, urging that Obama should make sure there is no roll call vote because that would highlight the fact that he hasn’t secured the nomination.

Enough is enough.  The only way to stop the superdelegates from showing their true colors in November is to make sure they never vote.  Can they do this?  Sure.  It’s called suspending the rules and nominating by acclimation.

FIGHT FOR DEMOCRACY!  Stand up and be counted and reclaim your vote by signing the I Own My Vote Pledge at www.IOwnMyVote.com.  Contact the chairs of the Rules Committee of the Democratic National Convention and tell them that you DEMAND a roll call vote, that you voted for delegates to the convention and you expect them to be heard, and you expect your superdelegates to go on record with their votes.  And while you’re at it, contact Taylor Marsh and tell her you own your vote and you’re sick of her acting like you don’t know what you’re doing with it.

What about “Alice and Don” posted earlier:

It is time to act in a mature and resourceful fashion. It’s time to put the primaries behind us. It’s time to support Barack Obama without conditions or demands.

An open vote is a “condition”. Demands to follow the rules are a “demand.” Those making such demands are tiresome. More, you are immature.

Immature. That’s what two leaders think of people who want the party to follow the party’s rules.

I stopped posting my blog posts on her Hot Topics area awhile ago…I used to get some hits from the Marsh site..then, nothing.
It’s obvious that there has been a migration away from that site lately!

Taylor Marsh has always behaved strangely, she wrote the most ambivalent articles. I wasn’t a regular commenter, because I didn’t want to be a “Marshan”. She would quite frequently secretly light a fire and then come out screeming: help, there is a fire. She has a serious problem. And she behaved like a Kindergarten Teacher, repremanding her “Marshans” every so often.
Now she smells benefits from Obamaland and still reprimands us who demand a fair, democratic process.
Mother Taylor Marsh, I don’t take reprimands from you! Never have, never will.

Now to the topic of this post: don’t forget to also go to: http://thedenvergroup.blogspot.com

and shame on you Obama. again, what are you afraid of? same old question we asked when he refused a re-vote in Florida and Michigan, and we asked when he refused Hillary’s repeated invitations to join her in town hall forums (and now he is refusing to do the town hall forums with McCain — what happened to “anytime; anywhere”?, and now we have to ask again as we fight to have HRC’s name on the roll call for the Party nomination.

Sen. Obama seems to have some kind of demophopia. and how dare the Party even call itself Democratic anymore. Maybe the Dem leadership ought to put something in the platform to change the name to the Oligarchic Party.

ABSOLUTE PROOF OF A FIXED PRIMARY ELECTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Important new development uncovered by a Hillary Loyalist Now For McCain.
In early February Don went on record describing the Democratic Party process and the way the superdelegates roles should be played out. Now he writes a letter demanding we back Obama.
Read the whole story and watch the video you will become all the more determined to PUMATIZE the NATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comment by Betty | 2008-07-20 19:14:56

In early February the DNC thought Obama would have the popular vote and Hillary would have the super delegates, so they wanted the SD to vote with the popular total.

Now Hillary has the popular total and Fowler just proved he is nothing but a sock puppet. The guy should be ashamed of him self.

I would like to send that video and a copy of the letter he wrote to all his employees at Walters Power International though. Do you think they are proud of Fowler, do they say,”Yeah, he a big wig in the Democratic Party too”? Would be fun to show them that he is just part of the Democratic Livery, maybe the one who is all dressed up in purple and gold with a big plumed hat who gets to run along side the carriage when Obama comes to town.

Taylor Marsh is a hack who lacks integrity. After all, her blog is a “business.” She is bought and bossed, a paid pamphleteer, a political huckster, a venal operative. And who taught her how to write?

Comment by DoroB | 2008-07-20 19:19:46

I am disappointed in Taylor’s position. TaylorMarsh.com used to be a haven for Hillary supporters, and she took a lot of flack for supporting Hillary and standing up against sexism.
It’s all the more disappointing to see her present stance, I guess. She did tell us months ago that her site would attack McCain but not necessarily support Obama. I think it’s impossible to separate the two.

Comment by elise | 2008-07-20 20:51:23

Doro, of course it’s impossible to separate the effect of both strategies. I am doing the same with McCain. I plan to vote for him, not because I agree with him, but because the alternative is more dangerous. I know there are some real McCain supporters here. I am just not one of them. I don’t make excuses for him or try to rationalize any of his policies to fit into my personal platform. That makes me no less determine to cast my vote for him. I lurked on TM for months because I liked the comments there. Intelligent, well informed and witty supporters of Hillary Clinton and though I liked her posts, for some reason I just never really could get into her mind. There was a little something that always bothered me. She was extremely sensitive to criticism and didn’t like to be challenged. I read what she said about not supporting Obama, but campaigning against McCain and I remember thinking to myself, she will support Obama and she will try to take her regular members with her. The last time I visited her site, she wrote a piece about Donna Bardoshevich(sp) from Wis. after that Hillary delegate said she would vote for McCain. TM was scolding. She said if Hillary’s supporters continued to refuse to back Obama, Hillary would suffer “political payback”. It sounded like a threat to me. It also sounded as though she has changed her mind about supporting Obama. There have been many challenges to Larry Johnson here and I can’t remember a single instance where he responded in anger over a disagreement.

Comment by DoroB | 2008-07-20 21:25:08

Same here, although I haven’t decided to vote for McCain yet. I live in a red state so I don’t think Obama will win here anyway. I was hooked on TM.com , so it was very painful to watch her site become what it is now. I felt that she was a little oversensitive too, but I respected everything she was doing for Hillary. Though I wanted to continue supporting her site, it was just too hard.

She said if Hillary’s supporters continued to refuse to back Obama, Hillary would suffer “political payback”.

I read that too. That’s one of her justifications for supporting Obama, which I thought sounded too submissive for someone who was supposed to be standing up for women like Taylor. It’s unfortunate that Taylor, like many Obama supporters, have decided to hold their noses and stuff their ears to vote along party lines.

Comment by Beth C. Taylor | 2008-07-20 23:28:16

Those of you, like myself, who used to visit Taylor Marsh’s blog will remember that there was a threat made by Obama supporters to have her convention credentials withdrawn. Could it be that she has just yielded to the pressure? Has a trip to Denver outweighed principle?

Comment by Mirlo | 2008-07-21 06:52:47

Doro, Taylor has a very ambivalent personality, that is confusing to people, because she very strongly represents her thing and then will state just the oposite further down. That haven was a strange thing too, I loved to read the comments and often, she would patronize the commenters as if they were immature and needed reprimands. It’s her character, she has issues there. That very statement that she would fight against McCain without supporting Obama is so ambivalent, it’s pathological, I think. But now she not only strongly supports Obama, she throws her former commenters under the bus, including HLF with the Denver Group. Very telling, if you als me, and oportunistic. NOT a good business woman either.

Comment by Taylor Marsh Lacks Integrity | 2008-07-21 18:12:26

“In the words of Yogi Berra, it ain’t over until the fat lady sings.”

Yogi Berra didn’t say that. He wouldn’t say that. Yogi Berra said “It ain’t over till it’s over” - bringing the whole subject to a Berra-esque and peremptory close.

Comment by elise | 2008-07-20 21:01:13

Nitpick is a good name for you. As usual, Yogi Berra misquoted, but that doesn’t invalidate the meaning. Do you have something else of importance to contribute or do you just visit blogs looking for something to nit pick about? BTW: nit pick originated with head lice.

It ain’t over ’til the fat lady sings is a proverb, essentially meaning that one shouldn’t assume the outcome of some activity (frequently a sports game) until it has actually finished.

This phrase in turn refers to the impression by many that at the end of every opera, an aria is sung by a heavy-set woman dressed like a valkyrie. A famous example of this is Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen (aka the Ring cycle). This is a set of four separate operas (lasting about 15 hours), in which the final scene includes Brünnhilde (a very large Valkyrie) singing, and then riding onto Siegfried’s funeral pyre. The set collapses and the entire cycle ends up in the Rhine river, where it started. The “fat lady” is often illustrated with a horned helmet, a spear, possibly a shield, and possibly blond braids (to suggest Scandinavian ancestry).

Comment by VRWC - Nitpick Dept. | 2008-07-21 00:00:30

It was in fun, more about Yogi Berra than anything else. Sorry, I usually manage not to strike the wrong note here. I guess I omitted too much context. I’ll try to clean up and, if I fail, sorry. There was, a decade or three ago, a kind of debate among sports fans and writers about “when is it over?” The traditional baseball line was “it isn’t over till the last man is out.” -

With some relevance to Pumas, come to think of it, since Pumas are arguing that an unbaseball-like clock (like Dean’s) should not have been imposed late and ad hoc on the contest - I tend to agree with that, in imagining a similar situation on the GOP side -

Anyway, alternative sayings were offered and the fat lady’s singing was especially popular. And that’s the discussion that Yogi Berra brought to a “peremptory” close.

Does anyone else think Obama may suffer from a narcissism personality disorder?

Narcissistic Personality Disorder Symptoms

A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:

1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
2. is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
3. believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
4. requires excessive admiration
5. has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
6. is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
7. lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
8. is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
9. shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

Criteria summarized from:
American Psychiatric Association. (1994). Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders, fourth edition. Washington, DC: American Psychiatric Association.

yes malignant narcissism:

Question

Why do his victims feel they are turning into narcissists themselves?

Answer

Narcissism is contagious. The narcissism creates a “bubble universe”, similar to a cult. In this bubble, special rules apply.

These rules do not always correspond to outer reality.

Using complex defence mechanisms, such as projective identification, the narcissist forces his victims - spouse, mate, friend, colleague - to “play a role” assigned to him by “God” - the narcissist.

The narcissist rewards compliance with his script and punishes any deviation from it with severe abuse.

In other words, the narcissist CONDITIONS people around him using intimidation, positive and negative reinforcements and feedback, ambient abuse (”gaslighting”), covert, or controlling abuse, and overt, classical abuse.

Thus conditioned, the narcissist’s victims gradually come to assimilate the narcissist’s way of thinking (follies a-deux) [sic] and his modus operandi - his methods.

You can abandon the narcissist - but the narcissist never abandons you.

He is there, deep inside your traumatic memories, lurking, waiting to act out. You have been modified, very much like an alien snatching bodies.

http://www.angelfire.com/zine2/narcissism/malignant_narcissism.html

_________________________________________

But the “malignant” narcissist consistently manifests at least 5 of these 9 criteria.

The DSM IV uses this language:

“An all-pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behaviour), need for admiration or adulation and lack of empathy, usually beginning by early adulthood and present in various contexts.”

Here are the 9 criteria. Having 5 of these 9 “qualifies” you as a narcissist…

1. Feels grandiose and self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents to the point of lying, demands to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
2. Is obsessed with fantasies of unlimited success, fame, fearsome power or omnipotence, unequalled brilliance (the cerebral narcissist), bodily beauty or sexual performance (the somatic narcissist), or ideal, everlasting, all-conquering love or passion
3. Firmly convinced that he or she is unique and, being special, can only be understood by, should only be treated by, or associate with, other special or unique, or high-status people (or institutions)
4. Requires excessive admiration, adulation, attention and affirmation - or, failing that, wishes to be feared and to be notorious (narcissistic supply).
5. Feels entitled. Expects unreasonable or special and favourable priority treatment. Demands automatic and full compliance with his or her expectations
6. Is “interpersonally exploitative”, i.e., uses others to achieve his or her own ends
7. Devoid of empathy. Is unable or unwilling to identify with or acknowledge the feelings and needs of others
8. Constantly envious of others or believes that they feel the same about him or her
9. Arrogant, haughty behaviours or attitudes coupled with rage when frustrated, contradicted, or confronted.

Used to be (what–all of 5 years ago, or so) that these clowns said homosexuality was a disease.
Please. Give me a break. Obama is much more dangerous than some wanker narcissist. If you want to call him anything, call him a sociopath.
He is completely disconnected from any mores, he answers to no accepted guidelines for human behavior. Narcissis (the fellow from which crazy
therapists choked up this “personality disorder”)
comes from Greek mythology and did little harm to anyone– the guy just fell in love with his own image in a pond of water. The gods turned him into one of the prettiest and best smelling flowers on the earth. You get a gifted person who can do something truly beautiful and if they have any self esteem to acknowledge their own achievement they are guaranteed a place in the hall of “narcissists.” If therapists weren’t some of the craziest people on the planet, then maybe they would have more insight into human behavior than they do. I don’t really care if you call him a narcissist (or anything else nice and negative) but please don’t act like you’ve found the holy grail.

NoTrollZone, didn’t Tim Russert call Hillary a narcissist? It could have been someone else, one of the cable pundits. I wonder where this person saw this in her. She is wealthy, but dresses very simply and I’m sure she has never gone near a cosmetic surgeon (but I do wonder about pelosi). Hillary drives a hybrid, has never spoken disrespectfully to anyone that I have heard and the reaction of those attending her rallies indicate they feel she cares about them. Oh no. I remember. It was Jeffery Tubin from CNN. Anyway, finally to my point. A sociopath also has many of the same characteristic. Pathologically lying is a symptom of an underlying disorder. All three can manifest in one illness. So he could be a sociopath manifested by narcissism and pathologically lying. Personally, I agree with others here. There is some type of disorder and I am convinced he is a pathelogical liar.

Comment by imustprotest | 2008-07-20 23:17:37

You may be correct. My understanding is a narcissist has no empathy for others but is very sensitive to his/her own emotions, everything and everyone revolves around them. A sociopath does not feel. A sociopath also wishes to hurt or harm others, narcissists often hurt others unintentionally. Obama I think is definately narcissistic and because I also think he is a misogynist, hates women.

Comment by JozefAL | 2008-07-21 01:33:22

You are correct. While NoTrollZone has the Narcissus myth MOSTLY correct, he’s mistaken on a few key points.
For starters, the most common version comes from the Romans (most notably, from the poet Ovid). In this a nymph named Echo becomes enamored of a young vain man named Narcissus. Narcissus himself was the son of another nymph by a minor river god, and his mother had concerns for the boy’s welfare so she went to a prophet who told her that he would live to old age as long as “he never knew himself”. Echo began pursuing Narcissus and was eventually discovered. Narcissus would call out “Who’s there” only to be answered back “Who’s there”. After some time, Echo finally showed herself and embraced Narcissus who then pulled away from her and told her to leave him. Echo left, heartbroken, to live out her life in a glen where she finally died, only her voice remaining. After Echo’s departure, Narcissus continued his wanderings until he became thirsty and stopped by a stream where he saw his reflection, fell in love with it and, when he reached down to touch the face, the other “young man” disappeared only to reappear minutes later. Narcissus discovered that his “lover” would vanish whenever he’d reach down to the stream, so that he quit trying to quench his thirst for fear of “scaring away” the young man. Eventually, Narcissus died of thirst and a flower grew where his body lay.
(A Greek version has been found that, for years was only known to have antedated the Ovid version, but another papyrus was found that predates Ovid’s by roughly 50 years. This version involves a young man named Ameinias who’d fallen for Narcissus. Narcissus gave the young man a sword as a rebuff, and Ameinias killed himself, but as he lay dying, he prayed to Nemesis that Narcissus would die of unrequited love. Narcissus later fell in love with his reflection in a stream and upon realizing the truth, he took a sword and killed himself. A flower then grew near his body.)
Basically, a narcissist has no feeling for anyone other than himself.

I’ve been saying this for months to anyone and everyone I can. (I think he has all 9 traits, too.)

In my lay person’s opinion, he is a political sociopath with no conscience and no soul. He stands for nothing but himself and can’t be trusted with the welfare of 300 million people.

Why does he want to be president? What does he want to accomplish? I can’t think of answers to either questions.

The DNC thought they could win and that was all they cared about. Even now, it’s all they care about.

If the DNC cared about America, it would have a roll call vote and Hillary would be the rightful nominee. And, she’d win in a landslide. (Sorry JohnnyMac. I’m only voting for you if I can’t have Hillary.)

Absolutely I do! I studied personality disorders for 10 years because husband went all whackjob like Obama acts! My husband is now my ex husband of course! Funny thing is my ex and Obama are birds of a feather, but my ex hates the guy! Why? Because you never like someone who thinks they are better than you because as a narcissist, you are the best! A legond in your own mind! BTW, during a custody battle with my ex, his psych eval came out exactly as I thought it would, but I could not put my finger on which personality disorder he had. Why didn’t I know? He came out with a mixed personality disorder, a mix of 3 or 4 of these!

I see Obama, exactly as my ex behaves! Both are very creepy dudes!

Comment by ginaswo still says no Uhhbama | 2008-07-20 22:06:44

agree that is where I get my notion of his malignant narcissism!

Comment by Northwest rain | 2008-07-21 00:47:54

Yep — I grew up in a religious cult — and the male evangelists were ALL narcissistic personalities. I recognize the personality type right away.

That speech Obama gave at the 04 dem convention — classic narcissistic delivery — exactly how the preachers guys would deliver their sermons. BUT the evangelist preachers never used a teleprompter and frankly many were far better than Obama will ever be.

Obama has no empathy — he is self centered — full of himself as my Brit friends say.

Comment by Michelle | 2008-07-21 02:31:04

I, too, have been saying this for months!

Hey - do you think that maybe all of us PUMAs/JSNDers SEE Obama for what he is because all of us have had so much experience with narcissists!?!

The other thing I can’t stand about Obama is how passive-aggressive he is…he is such a coward!

My understanding is that a roll call vote is merely symbolic. A candidate needs to have her name in nomination for the vote to mean that she could become the nominee.

Comment by imustprotest | 2008-07-20 19:48:52

Yes I believe that’s the point that The Denver Group is making. PUMA pac blog had the same language I think.

Taylor Marsh is probably hoping for HuffPo traffic. I haven’t been to her site in ages and I suspect many other Democrats have abandoned her as well. So she is hoping to lure the cultists to her site.

Comment by terri | 2008-07-20 20:19:44

The site is now a bunch of bots. The Hillary people have mostly deserted.

Comment by SHV | 2008-07-20 19:06:12

“Taylor Marsh is a hack who lacks integrity. After all, her blog is a “business.” She is bought and bossed, a paid pamphleteer, a political huckster, a venal political operative. And who taught her how to write?”

I kind of feel sorry for her. Her whole life history is a recurring story of trying to succeed with a little talent and a lot of self promotion. She has always failed…Transforming herself into a ‘bot is more of the same…kinda sad.

Comment by csuzeq | 2008-07-20 19:27:09

Just call her Obama Jr.

Comment by Faustina | 2008-07-20 19:07:12

Also, I used to check out the Taylor Marsh website until Hillary suspended her campaign. The last comments I read from Taylor Marsh is that she would work against McCain, but she could not work FOR Obama. If she is supporting the elimination of a roll call vote, maybe in her mind she is being true to her earlier position, but in fact that may be the only way Obama gets the nomination if he continues to carry on the way he has these last few weeks. I wouldn’t be surprised if Taylor Marsh is financially dependent on the Democrats in some way and the same kind of pressure that was brought to bear on Hillary is being applied to Ms Marsh.

Don’t know. Just guessing.

Comment by Sassy | 2008-07-20 19:10:54

I wish we knew how Senator Clinton felt about the roll call vote. I can’t decide whether she would fight or not. I can’t see how she could be “OFF AND RUNNING” and have an organization in place, if she can get the nomination. She will be two months behind. Anyway, I’m glad about the new poll numbers…I think the dems reported registering about 12% more during the primaries… so we need to keep our numbers intact…and VOTE against “O”!

Comment by d2d | 2008-07-20 20:56:28

she’s ready. no need to worry about that.

rise HILLARY RISE!!!

Comment by elise | 2008-07-20 22:58:38

Sassy, hasn’t she said many times she wants those who supported her to be respected and their votes to count? Who knows what’s going on behind the scenes, but Brazil and Obama have talked about negotiations, which means she is still holding out for something. She never conceded the election. It is our mission to take her argument to the delegates. If she thinks she can win, it’s hard to imagine not fighting.

Comment by B from Bloomington | 2008-07-20 19:19:42

QUESTION:

i thought Senator Clinton’s name must be put in nomination, not just “on the ballot” and the roll call vote. The Denver Group goes into the terminology. Please visit their website.

So shouldn’t this be that when you contact the co-chairs above, ask that there be an open convention with Senator Clinton’s name placed in nominaton and an open roll call vote?

Thanks!

I think that Taylor resents the fact that PUMA, NoQuarter, and JustSayNoDeal now receive more hits and is now more successful than her website. I never heard of her until she became a Hillary supporter during the primaries. While I appreciate the fact that she was a cheerleader for Hillary, I resent that she is now attacking Democrats who have decided not to vote for Obama. She can be a cheerleader for Obama but she doesn’t have to attack PUMA just because we’ve abandoned her site.

I think that attacking PUMA is a way to show the Obama campaign that she really is on their side in order to sit in on conference calls, get interviews, info, etc. She wants to make an in with the Obamabots. It’s unfortunate. I understand supporting Obama while have a clear sense of the fraud he is but Taylor has become a total Obamabot. She won’t even criticize him anymore.

Taylor Marsh is the absolute WORSE kind of hypocrite ever. She’s NOT a democrat and has no right to call herself one….she’s certainly proven NOT to believe in democracy and completely disrespects voters rights.

Comment by hilldemgoneindie | 2008-07-20 19:29:25

yeah… taylor marsh. what a jerk. during her clinton phase her site was my homepage. i turned several people onto her blog. i went there many, many times a day to catch up on hillary, get the scoop on obama and stay plugged into my internet community who seemed like intelligent, thoughtful people.
thankfully, it was there i was introduced to nq. i really admired tm (until i saw the first glimpse of her true colors peak through the day she severely scolded her flock for not monitoring each other when writing unsavory things about a dead person).

until that day, i thought she rocked. after that, i boycotted her sight for a while because, quite frankly, i’m in my fifties, i have a mother and her name isn’t taylor marsh - i’m past being scolded, esp by a stranger. after the TEH THEFT on may 31st, i began lurking on tm just to see how the crowd took it all and have been blown away by the “change.” what a blatant and obvious pay off by the obama campaign. and now, the very person who painted every detail of how awful, unqualified and terrible obama is, is now licking his ba**s, and daily calling people, who used to traffic her site regularly and often, vile and despicable names because we haven’t been paid off by obama and actually have brains AND integrity. it pains me to realize that someone whom i’ve admired and cheered in the past has turned out to be merely a paid hack, shilling for the highest bidder.

this whole primary season has been such an eye-opener to me, esp in how corrupt the democratic party is and how those who seek to profit from that corruption (who are also corrupt) feel they can berate my intelligence and bully me and others into goose-stepping to their brown shirt demands.

what i do find interesting, however, is that there are still a few right on participants over a tm giving her and her horrible obamabot zombies hell on a daily basis. also interesting is how nasty, unprofessional and downright snotty she’s become in her defense of her new position FOR obama and AGAINST all those who dare question his preparedness, his character, his integrity, his associations… i’m ashamed i was duped by her for even a moment.

also interesting is how the obamabot zombies love to talk about how small the puma and jsnd contingents are, to name just two, when it’s amusingly obvious how the traffic on her blog has plummeted since her decision to prostitute herself.

finally, her disingenuous and numerous claims that she is the one who is (blindly) following what hillary “demands” of us and that those who do not march in lockstep to that demand are not respecting hillary is so condescending it’s not even funny. what a control freak and obvious and pathetic cheerleader for her employer, obama.

so yes! demand a roll call vote!! tell tm to stuff it. keep pushing, pushing, pushing for democracy. we the people deserve so much better than that phony obama. thank you nq for posting such an important article.

taylor marsh is all ego like obama. She was always interested in taylor marsh and only taylor marsh. She doesn’t care about Hillary and she never did .I stopped going to her site long before she gave Hillary up..she’s a bit too neurotic for my taste. I like Larry .He has good character and a grreat site. Noquarter is loyal too the country not some yo yo.

Comment by catherine | 2008-07-20 19:48:04

Here here! I appreciate that about Larry as well. His loyalty is to country first. To the democratic principles that this country was founded on and not to any party/ies that in their blatant corruption have become unrecognizable.

Comment by Un coup de des | 2008-07-20 19:55:38

I agree: she is only interested in herself and her blog traffic. I also believe she is the recipient of funds from Howard Dean’s fifty state blog network BlogPAC.

I asked my husband, who is a shrink, if he thought Obama had narcissistic personality disorder. Immediately he responded, “Oh, God, yes … most politicians do!”

The difference here, of course, is that most American politicians don’t propose an anti-US agenda.

One other thing … the Brandenberg Gate decision … I did not hear a lot of questioning by the MSM about Obama’s embarrassing request to speak there. The German government initially seemed OK with it. Could it have been the American public’s response that changed the plan?
