Saw a snippet of the Couric interview on the news and couldn’t make head or tail of what he was trying to say. It was something about sending the troops from the surge to Afghanistan and that would help with an energy program, or something. It was way confusing.
Well I was over at the Political Machine (sic) at aol today. They spent the last several months trashing Hillary and now they are on McCain. They keep hitting him on his “gaffes” No mention is made by David Knowles and Tommy Christopher about Obama’s problem, just all about McCain’s AGE and GAFFES. Nothing against the ONE. gag They also attack PUMA from time to time. Their posting have gone way down too. I was also pleased that the NYT revenue is down, way down.

Some people are more sensitive to these cues and others, like the author of the article are well trained to identify the signs in an systematic way.

Okay. We haven’t seen Obama’s birth certificate. Have we seen his medical records? I happen to catch a minute or two of Obama on one of the cable shows earlier in the day. I thought he sounded a little more fluent than usual, or, I should probably say, a little less bumbling than usual.
This quote is a little disturbing. It reminds me of a professor I had years ago who had a thing about marijuana and used sing its praises in the classroom. Occasionally, he would have these episodes of talking gibberish; he also seemed to have memory problems. He didn’t last very long.
Is Obama on some kind of mind-altering prescription medication? Or is his mental stamina so degraded after his admitted history of drug use that this is what we can expect everytime he gets a little fatigued?
Many people have noticed the same things:
1. He has blue lips/gums. There actually are a few people who normally are this blue, but it’s so rare that it looks sick, because it is associated with lack of complete oxygenation of the blood. And if your brain isn’t getting oxygen, it isn’t working on all 4 cylinders, as Brazile put it.(See, she knows how weak he is.)
2. He gets tired a lot, or seems to be too tired for the energy of schmoozing endlessly. This could be related to #1 or to other causes.
3. When he isn’t prepared, he screws up verbally. It reminds some people of being drugged somehow; some, of being deprived of a drug; some, permanent damage from a drug; some, basic ineptitude with no need for drugs. In any event, the commonality is faulty memory, it seems to me. Again, there could be various causes. Personally I see him as having had good natural talents that are being reduced to reflexes, like dementia.
