Sports Edition!! Since I wrote about Obama hanging out and playing basketball ON YOUR DIME, here is another basketball related post. Some of you may have seen the “lowlights” from last night’s game between the LA Sparks and Detroit Shock. It all began when one player tripped over another player, and that player then plowed over the first player. All hell broke loose then, and it was a bench-clearing brawl. It was short-lived, but a brawl nonetheless. In the MIDST of it, the assistant coach of the Shock, Rick Mahorn, a LARGE man, got into it, and shoved Lisa Leslie down. Don’t take my word for it - watch the video.

Now, if you have been living in a cave, and do not know who Lisa Leslie is, she has been a basketball star for YEARS (in the pros since 1997), an Olympic Gold Medalist, a model, and a mother. She has been a spokeswoman for women’s basketball for quite some time. Unlike Obama, she can dunk, and was the first woman to do so in a professional basketball game.
So, this Mahorn guy shoves her down, and was ejected from the game after the referees reviewed the tape to see who was responsible for the melee. Afterwards, he said:
“I was trying to protect the whole game, the integrity of the game. The WNBA is very special to me because I have four daughters. I don’t even raise my hand to them, and I would never push a woman. This game, I love this game too much.”
Wow. That’s the kind of convoluted logic that would make Obama PROUD!! I mean, really - he is ON VIDEO pushing her, and then he claims he would NEVER push a woman?? So, what, is he saying Lisa Leslie isn’t a WOMAN, because that is the ONLY other explanation for his inane WORM-like statement.
As an added bonus, we have the Shock’s head coach, BIll Laimbeer, telling us we didn’t see what we saw. Oh, no - Mahorn is a PEACEMAKER!!!
I swear - ever since Bush took office, people have completely FLIPPED the actual definitions of words. He has done it constantly, Obama does it constantly, and now men are doing it when they shove women around - they are making PEACE, not PUSHING them! C’mon, what’s WRONG with you?!?!
Seriously, though - after watching Obama this entire election season, especially in the debates and his WORMing after talking to the press, along with his TAX-PAYERS funded romp through the Middle East and Europe (hey - will you tax payers send ME to Europe?? Please?? I’ll find some facts, I promise!), telling Katie Couric that she clearly does not understand him because he is trying his damndest to WORM around the whole SURGE issue, playing both sides, and if she would just PLAY ALONG already, and bow down to him, his point will be CLEAR - he was “against-it-before-he was-for-it-but-he-wouldn’t-have-done-it-even-if-it-worked-and-it-is-working-isn’t-that-great!” logic, it makes Mahorn’s claim that he did not push Lisa Leslie down seem PLAUSIBLE. Watch any one of the replays on ESPN or YouTube or wherever - every commentator, especially the ones who WERE THERE said he pushed her. Heck - it is pretty darn clear he pushed her. Like Obama, Mahorn does not seem to realize we have VIDEO and REPLAY. Holy freakin’ crap - what is the world coming to, I ask you?!? Just because he SAYS he didn’t push him, we are supposed to listen to him, not believe our own eyes and ears? Well, that is EXACTLY what OBAMA has done for eighteen months now, so it shouldn’t be all that surprising…
Good heavens, is this to what we have to look forward? Men behaving badly and then telling us they would NEVER behave badly despite all evidence to the contrary? Apparently so. This past year has pretty much demonstrated that by Obama and the MSM, though it wasn’t Lisa Leslie who bore the brunt of it - it was all women, with the primary target being Hillary Clinton. That is simply unacceptable to me. This Obama Playbook, and the men who use it, are intolerable. We need to stand up, step up, and stop this. We cannot let them get away with this kind of Switcheroo Flip Flop Blame Us For Seeing What Is Happening Before Our Eyes. Not only MUST we have Hillary Clinton as our president to start correcting this brutish behavior, but WE need to stand up when we see/hear/experience it. Call attention to it. Make it clear that this is UNACCEPTABLE, no matter how much we are told we aren’t seeing what we are seeing. We can do that. And we must.
Oh - and when was the last time you saw the WNBA get this much coverage?? Yeah. That’s what I thought…

I agree, to me it was all about how he treated hillary. He can’t undo that no matter how hard he tries. I hate him for that, not because of his skin color, but because of his woman color. In the true donna style: “My daddy always told me never to disrespect a woman, and my daddy was always right.”
Right before my trip to conzumel, I asked for a sign to let me know if I should vote for Obama or not. On the first day of the trip, the guy beat the crap out of the girl in the cabin next to mine. That told me everything I need to know.
On other websites they’re still running with the ‘closet Republicans’ theme. As I pointed out there’s only one problem with that: Obama asked Republicans to become a Democrat for one day and vote for him. They, like the guy in this story, are pretending that never happened. Hillary never did that. So who’s the more loyal Democrat?
What part of “I was never for the surge…it is working…but if I had the opportunity to vote for it again, I would still be against it…” don’t you understand? This isn’t doublespeak - it’s triplespeak. Does he even listen to himself anymore or just talk to be heard?

I was watching the game for the last few minutes and the Detroit player did escalate the problem when she walked over a player on the floor. Mahorn was just trying to help and stuck his arm out to hold Lisa back, she then fell, looked like a flop to me, players are always flopping in basketball. Mahorn is also quite strong, maybe Lisa should get stronger if she wants to mess with Rick.
Oh, the trolls get it; it’s just not in their perceived self interest to admit it. This is a basic strategy of people doing bad things. Plus they love watching us earnestly trying to explain it to them.
There are five different angles shot from this footage. When Rick extends his arm out she throws a right cross and then falls back to the ground.

He pushed her, she went to swing back, and he pushed her again on her back.
That was after he put his hands on the opposing teammate who was helping HIS teammate up and swung that opposing player around.
And after he pushed Lisa, he then grabbed the LA asst coach by the arm. He wasn’t interested in breaking up anything tossing opposing players and coaches around. Like the announcers stated. Good teammates break up fights by pulling their own teammates out of the fight.

I’ve looked a bunch of times, and I do not see Lisa throw a punch at him at any point. I guarantee you, if she had, she would have been thrown out, too. What I DO see is him shoving her - HARD. Look how far she slides on the floor. It was completely unprovoked. For him to then claim he didn’t do anything of the kind, and for Laimbeer to claim he is a “peacemaker” is just obscene.
Thanks for the links to the photos - I admit, I was so shocked over what he did to Leslie, I didn’t even see him grab LA’s assistant coach - wow. He’s a BIG guy, and she looks tiny (maybe just by comparison). That’s pretty intimidating for a woman in and of itself. Thanks again!

That speech is all you need to see to know just what Obama really is. He is a thug AND a passive aggressive dufus. He was embarrassed by his lame performance on the ABC debate that he attacked Hillary because she was so good and he was so lousy. Just check that speech out on you tube or ABC news. It is about 15 minutes and it will illustrate all you need to know about the punk Nobama. His performance reminded me of a adolescent frat boy and I have had enough of that from a President!

One thing is for sure. It doesn’t matter what Obama says because if you wait a second he will clarify it and say the opposite. Then he can always claim he was right. You know that famous speech he claims he gave in opposition to the Iraq War which gave him cred on judgement, well it was probably made the day before he made a speech extolling the virtues of the Iraq Invasion. Neither speech was taped or remembered or written about by the media. So of course Nobama had to recreate the one that he felt would put him in the best light. Why anyone relies on a silly speech by Nobama is insane. He will change his position at the drop of a dollar. He doesn’t even seem to comprhend what he is actually saying. He is like Mr. Magoo just going blythly along creating havoc in his wake, all the while thinking he is on top of things. The only difference is the media pretends the havoc isn’t happening. Of course the media has a hay day mocking McCain. But Nobama is treated just like Dumbya. It is truly the theater of the absurd.
When did Obama give a speech extolling the virtues of the Iraq war? I’d really love to read the transcript.
We don’t know if he did, but do we really know if he gave a speech opposing the war? We don’t as it wasn’t covered by the media. It wasn’t taped nor was there anything in the newpapers either. He said he did but is that for real? He wants us to believe that but we just have to take his many words as word. So we don’t know if he ever gave a speech extolling the virtues of the war, do we? It would be in keeping with his flip flops though. He has always voted to fund it, hasn’t he? I never remember him being at any anti war marches I attended. i don’t remember him standing up for Joe Wilson when the Administration went after Joe and Valerie for questioning the war. Do you?

I am one of the 25 PUMAs, a 63 yr old black AA female & still a Hillary supporter with 37 and 27 yr old daughters who keep me up-to-date on rap. How about these examples of Obama’s sexism:
1. At a Hillary and Obama fund raiser Bernie Mac told a Ho (whore) joke involving his wife and daughter. Both answered that they would accept $50,000 for sex. Bernie’s true meaning and insinuation was regarding the $100,000 total. Remember the latest news that week was that the Obama large donors had raised less than $100,000 for Hillary. His whole meaning was to call Hillary a Ho (whoring after Obama donors for money) and getting only (hypothetically/realistically)$100,000 for her effort. Obama joking told Bernie to clean up his act then right away said “just kidding you man”.
2. To cheers, at a rally in Atlanta, Obama referenced the rapper Lil Wayne as follows: “maybe you are the next Lil Wayne, but probably not, in which case you need to stay in school”. Now he could have used any rapper but he chose Lil Wayne. Why? Maybe the third stanza of the following lyrics explains why and why the crowd laughed and cheered so wildly:
“I get on top
She drop it like its hot
And when I’m at the bottom
She be Hillary Rodham”

Obama and his people want to control us. It is so scary. Think about them. Telling us what color to wear and telling us what colors to have on our plate of food at the DNC convention.
