Tonight I have the honor of interviewing Bob Shrum. His book, No Excuses, is just out in paperback and it’s candy for the political junkie. If you love politics, you’ll love this book. I’ll be asking him about his political war stories. I also want to get his thoughts on this recent primary campaign and the concerns expressed by Hillary’s supporters. We’ll take some calls. I hope you’ll tune in to hear this very special guest. The show begins at 9 p.m. EST.

6pm my time- ok i gotta remember to tune in! great catch on getting shrum
Fantastic!
Bud you know he is for Obama don’t you.?
when I used to hang out at the DNC open thread………. Bob Shrum was not a big fan of most of the DEMS there.
Many even blamed him for Kerry losing. Something about not being quick enough to recant the swift boaters? Was that even his job?
What I remember for sure is Deaniacs were not fans of his on that blog. So, PUMAS may want to embrace him. Unless he’s a HUGE KOOLAIDE fan. I don’t know.
I saw him on MTP he has drank a lot of kool-aid, so be careful of him.
Bud White is an intelligent man who’s writings are informative, I’m happy to listen and perhaps glean and insight or two. It is an interesting medium with the interaction of the online Hawaiian Dehydrated Macadamia Nut gallery.
Ya never know what you’ll find…
Shrummy is bloated with the Kool-Aid
I can’t stand that fool
Will be there at 9.
Bud just wanted to say well done. While Bob Shrum was out to hawk his book. The stress in his voice was noticable when talking about current affairs…He was playing the “team” card”, at that level the “get in line” forces are remarkable.
It will make a grown man cry.
I would make a suggestion for an interview, Mudcat. He says it like it is and doesn’t care a great deal for the Dem machine seeing how they have left the south to rot, and how he see the “50 state strategy” being under funded.
He upset me when he said Hillary will not want a roll call.
Said he was a New Deal Democrat. Obfuscation must have been the second thing he listed on his resume….
So Shrum says Sen.Kennedy talked in terms of millenium keywords during the 80s campaign.
Color me skeptical.
Fittingly he segues to John Kerry from there.
