“Painful”
By NoQuarter on August 8, 2008 at 2:20 PM in Advertising, Bamboozling, Barack Obama, Energy Policy Act of 2005, John McCain
This ad is very effective. I worry that not every American has realized yet that, in 2005, Barack Obama chose to side with his lobbyist benefactors over the American people, and that he voted FOR the Bush-Cheney Energy bill. Hillary Clinton or John McCain voted against the bill.
Imho, that alone is reason enough to not nominate Barack Obama. “Words? Just words?” Well, sadly, that is all they are, Mr. Obama. When push comes to shove, you ALWAYS side with your money men. You didn’t give a single thought to the AMERICAN PEOPLE.
I just had to get that off my chest. If every American voter KNEW that Barack Obama voted WITH Dick Cheney and George Bush on energy and profiteering for big energy companies, there’d be no doubt who should be nominated.
This ad is about the average American family:
From the McCain campaign — which this blog does not endorse, but recognizes for its ability to point out the stark differences not only between John McCain and Barack Obama but also between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama:
ARLINGTON, VA — U.S. Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign today released its latest television ad, entitled “Painful.” The ad highlights Barack Obama’s record of voting to raise taxes on middle class families and his proposals for painful tax increases that will only further hurt those already struggling with higher gas prices, higher food prices and the threat of home foreclosure. The last thing we need to do is raise taxes that force families to make even tougher choices with less money in their pockets. The ad will air in key states.

Obama voted to raise taxes on people making just $42,000.
He promises more taxes on small business, seniors, your life savings, your family.
Painful taxes, hard choices for your budget. Not ready to lead. That’s the real Obama.

AD FACTS: Script For “Painful” (TV :30)
ANNCR: Life in the spotlight must be grand, but for the rest of us times are tough. Obama voted to raise taxes on people making just $42,000.
· Barack Obama Voted Twice In Favor Of The Democrats’ FY 2009 Budget Resolution. (S. Con. Res. 70, CQ Vote #85: Adopted 51-44: R 2-43; D 47-1; I 2-0, 3/14/08, Obama Voted Yea; S. Con. Res. 70, CQ Vote #142: Adopted 48- 45: R 2- 44; D 44- 1; I 2-0, 6/4/08, Obama Voted Yea)
· FactCheck.org: The Budget Resolution Would Have Allowed Most Of The Provisions Of The 2001 And 2003 Tax Cuts To Expire, Effectively Raising Taxes On Those Making $41,500 In Total Income. “What Obama voted for was a budget resolution that would have allowed most of the provisions of the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts to expire. In particular, the resolution would allow the 25 percent tax bracket to return to its pre-2001 level of 28 percent. That bracket kicks in at $32,550 for an individual or $65,100 for a married couple. But as those of you who have filled out a 1040 know, that’s not actually how income taxes work. We don’t pay taxes on our total earnings; we pay them based on our ‘taxable income.’ The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center’s Eric Toder told FactCheck.org that ‘people with taxable income of $32,000 would have a total income greater than that.’ In 2008, anyone filing taxes with single status would be entitled to a standard deduction of $5,450, as well as a personal exemption of $3,500. So to have a taxable income high enough to reach the 25 percent bracket, an individual would need to earn at least $41,500 in total income, while a married couple would need a combined income of at least $83,000.” (”The $32,000 Question,” FactCheck.org, http://www.factcheck.org, 7/8/08)
· FactCheck.org: “Obama’s Votes Indicate A Willingness To Raise Taxes.” “Certainly Obama’s votes indicate a willingness to raise taxes, and Obama has not been shy about saying explicitly that he will raise some taxes.” (”The $32,000 Question,” FactCheck.org, http://www.factcheck.org, 7/8/08)
· Obama Campaign: Barack Obama Voted For A Budget Resolution That Wouldn’t Have Increased Taxes For Any Taxpayers Making Less Than $41,500. ROSEN: “Campaign aides to Senator Obama today, called the charge that he voted for tax hikes on people making only $32,000 a year, quote, ‘bogus.’ They circulated an analysis stating that the resolution that Obama had voted for would not have increase taxes on single taxpayer making less than $41,500 a year in total income.” (Fox News’ “America’s Election Headquarters,” 7/30/08)
· The New York Times: Barack Obama’s “Vote Was On A Budget Resolution To Raise Taxes On People Making $41,500 A Year.” “FactCheck.org, a nonpartisan Web site, said the vote was on a budget resolution to raise taxes on people making $41,500 a year; the $32,000 figure, it said, was the amount of taxable income those people had.” (Michael Cooper, “McCain Goes Negative, Worrying Some In GOP,” The New York Times, 7/30/08)
· The Associated Press: Budget Resolution “Would Have Allowed Tax Rates To Return To Pre-2001 Levels, Meaning That An Individual With Taxable Income Of About $32,000 Would Have Faced A Tax Increase.” “At issue is Obama’s vote on a non-binding budget resolution in March that called for President Bush’s tax cuts to expire. Such a step would have allowed tax rates to return to pre-2001 levels, meaning that an individual with taxable income of about $32,000 would have faced a tax increase. Taxable income is what’s left after taxpayers account for deductions.” (Liz Sidoti, “Obama Dismisses Conservative Criticism,” The Associated Press, 7/12/08)
· In June 2008, Obama Said “The Senate Voted To Stand Up For Working Families In Illinois And Throughout The Nation” By Passing The Democrats’ Final Budget Resolution. Obama: “Today the Senate voted to stand up for working families in Illinois and throughout the nation by rejecting the failed policies of the Bush Administration and moving our country back on track to fiscal discipline. … Our country needs change, and this budget is an important step in the right direction. I commend House and Senate leaders for working together to move this legislation through Congress.” (Sen. Barack Obama, “Statement Of Senator Barack Obama On The Senate ’s Passage Of The FY 2009 Budget Resolution,” Press Release, obama.senate.gov, 6/4/08)
· In March 2008, Obama Hailed His Vote For The Budget As Making “Significant Progress In Getting Our Nation’s Priorities Back On Track.” Obama: “The budget passed by the Senate tonight makes significant progress in getting our nation’s priorities back on track. … We need change in this country, and this budget is an important step in helping bring it about.” (Sen. Barack Obama, “Obama Statement On The Senate’s Passage Of The FY 2009 Budget,” Press Release, obama.senate.gov, 3/14/08)

· Barack Obama Has Called For Higher Income Taxes, Social Security Taxes, Capital Gains And Dividend Taxes, And Corporate Taxes, As Well As “Massive New Domestic Spending.” “Obama’s transformation, if you go by his campaign so far, would mean higher income taxes, higher Social Security taxes, higher investment taxes, higher corporate taxes, massive new domestic spending, and a healthcare plan that perhaps could be the next step to a full-scale, single-payer system. Is that what most Americans want, someone who will fulfill a Democratic policy wish list?” (James Pethokoukis, “Barack Hussein Reagan? Ronald Wilson Obama?” U.S. News & World Report’s “Capital Commerce” Blog, www.usnews.com, 2/12/08)
· Barack Obama Would Raise Social Security (Payroll) Taxes On Families. “Obama’s proposal … would impose social security taxes on income above $250,000 per year. He would continue to exempt income between $102,000 and $250,000 from social security taxes.” (Teddy Davis, Sunlen Miller, and Gregory Wallace, “Obama Kisses Billions Goodbye,” ABC News’ “Political Radar” Blog, blogs.abcnews.com, 6/18/08)
· Barack Obama Would Raise Income Taxes. Obama: “[I] would roll back the Bush tax cuts for those making over $250,000.” (Sen. Barack Obama, CNN Democrat Presidential Candidate Debate, Manchester, NH, 6/3/07)
· U.S. Department Of Treasury: Small Business Owners “Are Frequently Subject To The Highest Individual Income Tax Rates.” “Changes in the individual income tax affect most businesses in the United States. That is because taxes on business earnings are often paid through the individual income tax when ‘passed-through’ to business owners. The business income from sole proprietorships, farm proprietorships, partnerships, S corporations, etc., is all taxed at the owners’ individual income tax rates. This year 34 million business owners are expected to receive this type of income and pay tax on this income through the individual income tax. These businesses are typically small and often entrepreneurial in nature, and a source of innovation and risk-taking in the economy. Moreover, these business owners are frequently subject to the highest individual income tax rates.” (”Topics Related To The President’s Tax Relief,” U.S. Departm ent Of Treasury, http://www.ustreas.gov/press/releases/reports/president_taxrelief_topics_0508.pdf, May 2008)
· Barack Obama Would Raise Capital Gains And Dividend Taxes. “Sen. Obama wants to raise the long-term capital-gains rate for families making more than $250,000 to around 20 percent or somewhat higher but not above the 28 percent level it reached during the Reagan presidency, an Obama economic adviser says. The same rate would apply to most dividend income for these investors.” (Tom Herman, “Tax Report Your Tax Bill: How McCain, Obama Differ,” The Associated Press, 6/18/08)

· Even Barack Obama Admits That His Tax Increases May Harm The Economy. CNBC’S JOHN HARWOOD: “And I found this fascinating, Maria, that on the issue of taxes, he looked to insulate himself by saying that if, in fact, economic conditions justify the fact that it might harm the economy, he might be willing to hold off some of his tax increases when he takes office in January. Let’s take a listen to Barack Obama.” BARACK OBAMA: “Some of those, you could possibly defer. But I think the basic principle of restoring fairness to our economy and encouraging bottom-up economic growth is important. So here’s what we know: We know that over the last decade or so, that more than half of the economic growth has been captured by the top one percent of U.S. citizens. That means the other 99 percent have seen their effective incomes go down. That is not a recipe for long- term economic growth.” (CNBC, 6/9/08)
· Tax Policy Center: Barack Obama Would Raise Taxes On One Out Of Every Three Senior Households. “Even though Senator Obama’s plan eliminates individual income taxes for seniors with incomes less than $50,000, his plan would raise taxes for almost 10 million senior households, over a third of the total (not shown in table). On average, seniors would face a tax increase of about 2 percent of income.” (Burman et al., “A Preliminary Analysis of the 2008 Presidential Candidates’ Tax Plans,” The Tax Policy Center, 6/11/08)
· Tax Foundation: Seniors “Rely Most On The Stable Flow Of Income That Dividends Provide.” “Most debate over whether to extend the reduced rates on dividends and capital gains has focused on the tax benefits of these cuts to high-income taxpayers. What has been largely ignored is the impact these tax policies have on corporations’ decisions on how best to distribute their income to shareholders–including senior citizens, who rely most on the stable flow of income that dividends provide. A recent Tax Foundation analysis illustrated that a large number of those benefiting from dividends are seniors and those on the verge of retirement (See www.taxfoundation.org). A further analysis of these seniors earning dividends reveals that lower-income seniors who file tax returns depend more heavily on dividend income than high-income seniors.” (Gerald Prante, “The Importance Of Dividend Income For Low-Income Seniors,” Tax Foundation, http://www.taxfoundation.org/news/show/1354.html, 2/8/06)

Has Texas Darling heard this yet?
Don’t know. Please forward to her if you know how.
She’s got it - from multiple sources. Thanks.
I checked it on imdb, the quote is there. I know this site well. Biographies on the site are written by the artists themselves and their reps, the site does not contribute to them.
In addition imdb has records of who submitted the bio and when. They check every submission before it’s approved.
Honestly, the ad is telling the truth, I am not for McCain, but the ad is great.
ok, I’m just an immigrant, but doesn’t that disqualify him?
Yes. Under the Constitution, people holding dual citizenship are barred from becoming President. If this is true, B-Zero is not qualified to run for the office, or to hold it.
I thought you had to denounce your U.S. citizenship if you held two. I thought this because my husband is from Canada. I thought of moving there, but found I had to renounce my U. S. if I wanted to become a citizen. It was the U S laws not Canada. They allow you to have more than one, but the U. S. does not at least not now…
Dual citizenship is allowed, just not endorsed by the US.
It creates a potential conflict of obeying the laws of both countries.
Kenya doesn’t allow dual citizenship. So if he became a citizen of Kenya as a boy he would have had to given up his US citizenship.
I applied in british Col. CA. ANd was told that the U S goverment does not allow duel. U S immigration told me that 3 years ago! Honestly. The INS said it was the US’s rule not Canada. SO I called Candian INS and sure enough they said the same thing…I am going to go look…
I was sure the US doesn’t allow dual citizenship. I was a little surprised when some at NQ said it was allowed. I don’t think so.
This is the link..
http://www.us-immigration.com/information/dual_citizenship.html
They do allow it, but its not liked. It appears he would have had to been born in Keyna, then became a U S citizen. Otherwise if he were born here, he would have had to renounced his U S citizenship. So in other words there is no way he can be POTUS if this is true.
Is it possible he was born here (US citizen) and his father recorded his birth in Kenya, too…I think they can do that - and that could be the basis of this claim?
Maybe he doesn’t hold legal citizenship status in Kenya, but rather, his BC is recorded there on behalf of his father.
according to kenyan law, Obama would have at the age of 21 declared his citizenship with Kenya and his intent to meet residency requirements. I don’t know if he did that, but at birth it appeared he had both US and Kenyan citizenship by his parents.
If someone came to the US to become citizen is not eligible either: not ‘natural born citizen’. If he gained an other citizenship after his birth, the renounciation would not apply.
That is how it had to be, or he would not be a US citizen. he had to come here, then become a citizen, otherwise when he became a citizen of Keyna, he would have lost his U S Citizenship..
you guys are getting way off track…
http://kenya.rcbowen.com/constitution/chap6.html#97
He does not have dual citizenship with Kenya.
He may with Indonesia, though. Please spend time looking there.
I’m confused…the article seems as if it’s no big deal that he has dual citizenship. Does the writer not realize that it makes him ineligible to be POTUS?
I’d bet on that!!
Holds both American and Kenyan (since 1963) citizenship.
This statement in the article is with out attribution. I have never seen it stated so bluntly. I called Rocky Mountain news and spoke to a person in News Room, who I must say was very pleasant.
i have some names that I got in trying to track down the source of attribution. Silly me, it was at the bottom of the article. The person I spoke with said the 1st and and 3rd where the most likely…I am work and will followup later, unless someone beats me to it, in finding the source…
And why 1963?
biography.com, Internet Movie Database, Atlanta Journal Constitution
oops.
I am AT work and will followup later, unless someone beats me to it, in finding the source…
he was born in 1961…..not 1963
Year of Kenyan independence from GB, year that constitution was adopted.
I checked and there is one line says..
“Holds both American and Kenyan (since 1963) citizenship.”
Excuse me !! He has daul citiznship??? WOW…WOW..
He can not become President of the USA under our constitution article II.
I spent 25 (successful) years in advertising and McCain has hit upon his “positioning” for BO…the celebrity elitist. It’s very powerful and will sink BO’s ship ’cause it’s true. I hope they keep the formula and begin every ad with the Messiah message.
I agree. They’re working.
Then why does Obama have a stable lead and McCain can’t break 44-45%?
The stable lead well within the margin of error. Whoa.
Yes, it most certainly is. And it looks familiar to me, too. Does it to you as well?
Say, a lot like the “stable lead” that Kerry had? And Gore? And Dukakis, who was up by seventeen points around this time?
And none of those guys had to deal with the Bradley Effect, either. I think Obama is in trouble. The only one who can save him is Clinton, and I hope she doesn’t, frankly.
This troll guy with his “stable lead” is whistling past the graveyard. He’s scared. That’s why he’s here–he believes disruption will dissipate our resolve. He’s wrong.
Notice how they can’t stay away? I have no problem avoiding the Messiah websites. I can’t understand why he feels the need to come here and scratch and peck, if we’re so “insignificant” and “fringe” and “outliers.”
Unless, of course, we aren’t…
Interesting, that.
Something tells me you’ve been buyin’ your wackie tabacki on the cheap, debbie - you be smokin’ some bad stuff…
Check Obamedia’s headlines and articles.
In this election a democrat should be leading in the polls by 20%. As I head the MSM say early on in the primaries the dems could run a pig and a chicken and beat the republicans this year.
I guess barky isn’t as good as either a pig or chicken.
1% is all the lead Mr. Obama can garner at this time?
Pitiful! Especially when you consider all of the benefits any Dem candidate should have going for him/her in this election year. A rock labeled Dem would be doing this well.
Truly pitiful!
There’s been nothing stable about Obama’s lead in any of the polls. He’s been up and down like a yo-yo. Last week, he received a miniscule bounce from his European tour then plummeted again.
Stable lead? LOL! After 8 years of Bush, tons of money and the media licking his shoes, he should be 20 points up at this stage. The 527’s are going to bury him.
This one is obviously aimed toward women undecideds, and it’s very effective. His best yet IMO, though I liked “Love.”
BO’s “selection” by the DNC reminds me of the show Who Wants To Marry a Millionaire?
Only this show is called Who Wants to be President?
The bar for being POTUS is a ground zero!
DB,
You may have figured it out, friend! It IS all about the bar.
When they told the DNC they needed a candidate who could “clear the bar,” they thought it was a game of “Limbo!” and said to themselves, “Who’s the lowest snake in the Senate?”
BO’s “selection” by the DNC reminds me of the show Who Wants To Marry a Millionaire?
Only this show is called Who Wants to be President?
The bar for being POTUS is at ground zero!
Yup. I also did commercials. That is the right message and I especially like the “Not ready” part which is evocative of “Not Ready for Prime Time” which also evokes celebrityhood AND cocaine. Nice job.
They are upping their game nicely…
I am impressed with the low-speak delivery. Mature, sedate and matter of fact…
The Democrats are obviously worried about whether or not Obama can stand up to Republican attacks. I just came across an article where an initiative is underway to threaten and harass GOP donors. Their identities will be exposed, their jobs and families attacked and frivolous lawsuits will be filed to aggravate them.
Pro-Obama Group Threatens Republican Donors
Friday, August 8, 2008 11:08 AM
By: Jim Meyers Article Font Size
A new left-wing organization that wants to help elect Barack Obama president is sending letters to nearly 10,000 major donors who contribute to Republican causes, threatening them with potential legal problems if they finance conservative groups.
The nonprofit organization, Accountable America, is even offering a $100,000 reward for information that leads to the criminal conviction or fines of at least $10,000 for violations of campaign finance laws or other statutes by a conservative group, according to The New York Times.
Accountable America is led by Tom Matzzie, former Washington director of the liberal activist group MoveOn.org, and its research director is Judd Legum, who served that role in Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
Matzzie called the organization’s effort “going for the jugular.” He told The Times, “We want to stop the Swift Boating before it gets off the ground.”
The warning letter being sent to potential donors “is intended as a first step, alerting donors who might be considering giving to right-wing groups to a variety of potential dangers, including legal trouble, public exposure and watchdog groups digging through their lives,” The Times reports.
If a conservative group do run ads attacking Obama, Matzzie says his group plans to run ads countering it exposing the donors behind the anti-Obama message.
Matzzie’s group has so far raised only $200,000, but he said he hopes to raise more than $500,000 by next week and $2 million overall.
Republican strategist Chris LaCivita doubts the group will succeed in scaring off donors, saying “they’re not going to be intimidated by some pipsqueak on the kooky left.”
Matzzie previously headed the Campaign to Defend America, which has run ads against Republican presidential candidate John McCain in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

How did we get here?
The warning letter being sent to potential donors “is intended as a first step, alerting donors who might be considering giving to right-wing groups to a variety of potential dangers, including legal trouble, public exposure and watchdog groups digging through their lives,” The Times reports.
Their targets could turn around and do the same thing to them.
Now if Mr. Matzzie could use his energy towards finding Barack’s real birth certificate…he’d have the appreciation of the entire country.
Good, good! You couldn’t ask for a better campaign to help get the GOP base fired up.
This is PERFECT. They want to take their ‘net thuggery to the real world, and in so doing, they are about to unleash a torrent of backlash.
Love this.
Hey Paul,
See I think that is all this video is something for his base. It does NOTHING for me. See 40K is about 20 K more than I get now so I think it’s fine to tax them. As LONG as you repeal the taxes on the UPPER 2 percent first!!!!!
I mean repeal bush’s TAX BREAKS
hell tax them for real
we should all pay
and tax those off shore accounts TWICE far as I’m concerned
those people are RIPPING OFF AMERICA
The top 1% pays 40% of all the taxes. There should just be a flat tax rate of 30% across the board. Then we wouldn’t have these problems. We needn’t beat up people because they became successful. We need to cut all these social welfare programs that do nothing but balloon the deficit. It isn’t my responsibility to take care of others. It is only my responsibility to take care of myself and my family.
You’re a real warm and fuzzy guy Andrew. Try a little compassion. There are some people that have a difficult time taking care of themselves: mentally disabled, handicapped etc. I worked with abused and neglected children. If they do not receive effective help, then they end up as a burden to society–either as criminals and/or in jail. Haven’t you learned anything from “trickle down economics?” You should be careful of your insular attitude. If you ever need help, you’ll be glad someone cares.
The first line of this zeroed into exactly the bitterness I was feeling watching Jessica Alba on that “Yes We Can” video. She says “I would like … hmm… a cleaner earth, for the child I’m about to bring into this world.”
“I would like” as if she were perusing a five-star restaurant menu. Some of us NEED healthcare, job stability.
Yes, very effective ads.
People, I want you to check out the magazine covers they chose to put in the ad…very interesting.
VANITY Fair, La Revolucion!…just look at the covers…
Oh, the cover is La Revolution Obama with those communist style posters for the cover…
Also, watch what happens after the flashes from the camera…it’s Obama’s profile and he is moving in sort of slow mode…CREEPY…lol.
The paparazzi flashbulbs evoke the “white flash” and strobe lights. They make you nervous when you see them. For that reason, this celebrity theme is good.
now THAT reminded me of a GREAT video
HILLARY’s Revolution Video!
It’s even up at my facebook.
OH some disturbing news I just heard on one of the top 3 while surfing.
Oprah has rented a HOUSE in Denver so she can go to the MOFO CONVENTION FOR BAMBI and she paid 50,000 for it!!!
4 bambi
I swear to GOD I will NOT watch that fraud, circus event and I pity the PUMA that have to sit through that humiliating BS FESTIVAL of FRAUDS & Crooks!
ack, spit!
(why did I come back to the news?)
grr
Another good video
Jacob’s Ladder
my favorite line is:
when the information comes out regarding obama’s dual citizenship or maybe even citizenship in indonesia, kenya, and the usa, then i think he may be toast. what a joke!
If its true, it won’t come out untill right before the election. Its is kind of fitting, because obama did the same sort of thing in his elections in Illinois. He got people off the ballot by disqualifing them legally leaving him unchallenged. Of course, his vp could set up and take over, but by then no one would trust the DNC anymore. The press is building him up and then this issue comes out, it will make him look like an utter fool. there won’t be enough people left to stand by him to even make a difference.
Good Article Susan…saw that this morning on another site. No Sympathy for the fascists who are workin with Barry…..
*** OBAMA IS A FASCIST AND UNFIT FOR ANY ELECTIVE OFFICE ***
Another good ad. Maybe McCain will expose Obama enough that the delegates will see the light before it is too late.
If Obama voted for the energy bill and Mac against, it certainly undermines the whole “McSame” mantra. Whether the Republicans have the brains to use this line of defense is another matter…
Sometimes I think the Repubs WANT to lose - to give them 4 years to distance from the Bush admin and revitalize their base during an Obama admin.
Just like I think the dems want to loose so they can go on blaming the republicans for all our problems and not get blamed for the shit that is coming our way.
We are a nation of abundance, Scott. There’s plenty of blame to go around…
If there were some way to get everyone on the same page it would be great but I fear to even suggest its possibility is to sound like Barry. Instead, I wish that our elected officials would, for just once, admit that they need to quit cheating, lying and stealing in our names and using the tawdry excuse that the other guys would do it if they’d thought of it first.
How about them just doing the job WE sent them to do fairly and honorably.
That would be real f’ing change
Regards
Word on THAT!
Well, it depends on which Republicans you are referring to at the moment. Are conservatives on board with McCain? A lot more than not, but still they aren’t happy with his “moderate” views on certain policies. Then there are the actual moderates of the Republican Party that are relieved to move past the conservative wing of the party.
In sum, both parties are being rocked. One is moving towards the middle with their candidate and the other is moving more towards the left.
I decided a long time ago that no matter what John McCain does–he’s better than Barack. And that’s saying a lot because I’m not a John McCain fan.
Was McCain’s Moses Ad intended to present Obama as the Anti-Christ?
So, now he’s the anti-christ AND the messiah…
Depends on who you talk to.
I don’t think the anti-Christ thing was McCain’s intention - that it’s so easy for so many to believe about barky has just been a nice perk.
I don’t think the ad was trying to do that, but I have often thought that Obama could be the false prophet.
You and millions of others!
Point: McCain! You know the old sports philosophy - when you got the momentum, all the breaks seem to fall your way.
And the bamboozler thinks he’s gonna get the evangelical vote! Ha ha ha ha ha!
Is this like Bob Herbert’s non-existent Washington Monument and Leaning Tower of Pisa?
I think people are starting to see mirages.
video from New Yorker magazine says Obama’s flip-flop’s have caused “buyer’s remorse”.
As soon as I move to my new apt. I’m getting a subscription.
That ad has been debunked, but leave it to NQ to spread Republican lies.
Meanwhile, this one is great:
http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com/2008/08/obama_radio_ad_mccain_and_his.php
Oil company CEOs are bundling for Obama.
Probably the reason he denounced Hillary’s and McCain’s proposals for a gas tax suspension.
Debbie,
You say the ad has been debunked. If so, direct us to the analysis that debunks the claims that are made in the ad. If you cannot provide the evidence, please apologize.
Further, did you read the post? If so, then you know that all of the allegations have a solid foundation, unless you believe that the author made up all of the fact checking, or you believe that the fact checkers made it up, or both. Are they liars, Debbie? If they are not liars, does that mean you are a liar?
SM
I smell you troll shit a mile away. The republican ad is true. It hasn’t been debunked.
