The orator has fooled people as an executive ever since the ballot box was invented.
People think because a man talks smoothly, charmingly, pleasantly and promises largely, gorgeously and with a vehement show of sincerity, that he is going to do what he says.

Leadership styles/personality types — is something I studied in college. I remember one prof. lectured about the two different leadership styles (known throughout history) — the charismatic leader (the orator) and the organizational leader who understood the mechanics of how to get things done and organize people.
It has been clear since the beginning that Obamaling is a BS artist and that he has no substance, no core.
The question is WHO is the real leader — who is hiding behind the curtains making all the decisions — the nuts and bolts paper work, knowledge of details? With GWB — we know that Cheney is in fact the real power — he’s relying on his experience in previous GOP administrations.
WHO is the organizational leader behind Obama — all orators/charismatic leaders much have someone who knows how to get things done.
We would be better off if we elected the skilled administrator — Hillary Clinton. I know I’m speaking to the choir.

The men behind obama are Soros and Brezinski. I also find it very revealing that both of these men are also instrumental in Georgia’s Saakhashvili’s rise to power in Georgia. Coincidence?
Keep in mind that these powerful men are behind the Georgian conflict with Russia. I would be very sceptical of what the MSM is reporting about this conflict and not accuse Russia of wrongdoing before researching who and why this conflict was started. Here’s another interesting coincidence…both obama and Saakhashvili attended Columbia Univ. and Harvard. Brezinski was a professor at Columbia when obama was a student there.
When you examine the similarities in the tactics and policy of Obambi and Saakhashvili the Columbia/Brezinski/Soros connection is no longer just coincidental.
Soros has been undermining democratic reform in the former Soviet States, including Georgia, in favor of “Enlightened Authoritarianism” and a “Personality Cult”.

Personality type analysis is useful but oversimplifies by implying an either/or dichotomy. In reality, while both of these types exist in their pure form, many people combine these traits. Churchill was a great orator as well as a good administrator. Ditto for FDR. Kennedy was becoming good at the governing aspects when he was killed, although he screwed up badly in the beginning. (Had he taken his years in Congress more seriously, I doubt that he would have bungled the Bay of Pigs or the Vienna summit, giving Kruschev the impression that he could get away with putting missiles in Cuba.)
I once read that after WWII Americans were very leary of charismatic leaders having seen how Hitler had mesmerized the well-educated Germans. If you have to have just one of these traits, competence should always trump charisma. That is what a mature society would choose, anyway. Unfortunately opinion in our country is shaped by a bunch of media folks who are the epitome of arrested development and are emotionally stuck in high school, sucking up to the bullies and kool kids and dissing the serious students.

Actually, I find it harder to read all caps. The letters seem to blend together more, less differentiation or something maybe. I often skip over comments written in all caps for that reason.

After hearing about the death of the DNC party chairman it might be wise for us to do a story on this confirming the chairman supported Hillary Clinton. My concern is that the Obamanots might try to label PUMA and all Hillary Supporters as the violent ones. The MSM is going to use any advantage to label us as violent before the convention.

However, as you point out, truth about threats and violence is not a strong suit of Obama supporters.

They somehow fail to report about any threats, violence, or insults directed against Hillary supporters. Or threats against others that don’t support Obama.

I saw another threat last night when I linked to sign the petition for the FEC. They really need to delete anything from it that doesn’t look right. Someone had put some kind of mickey mouse name and in the comment section said(paraphrasing) we can get all your names, we will find out who you are, anyone who signs this petition will get a call from us. I’m not afraid of them and I’m not afraid of Denver, although, I am having to fight my husband and children about going. I have graves disease, but it should be under control soon. I had a radioactive iodine treatment three months ago and am on synthetic thyroid now. By the time the convention starts, I’ll be fine. And this is an historic moment for Hillary and women. I got my tea shirt, but I won’t wear it. I want her to sign it and I want to give it to one of my granddaughters to keep so that she can show her daughters it is almost possible Does anyone really believe another woman will come along who will be more qualified or more exceptable? It took thirty five years of hard work, learning, fighting and then fighting some more for Hillary to take on that glow she carries around and the beautiful lines in her face and the sparkle in her eyes. Lordy, I am so pissed off.

Thank you Postmaster, it’s good to feel there is a light at the end of this tunnel. It’s been an ordeal.
I decided, after my first marriage broke up and then an affair, I would be celibate for a while. I was teaching in another country and lived near the beach. Then, after classes, I walked to an art school to take classes. I started practicing yoga and became a vegetarian and walked on the beach when I had time. It was the most creative period of my life and lasted about two years. Never watched tv, just listened to music and read USA today on Sundays. I recommend it to anyone. Now my husband is my friend and I’m a better wife and mother. But, some always feel there is something wrong with a person who makes that choice. Edwards choice has hurt a lot of people. I’m not judgemental, but this was a time he could have used restraint and he didn’t. Now look at the mess.

How many times in a presidential primary election has someone been killed? I can only think of one, Bobby Kennedy. I stayed up late to watch the results from CA. I just kept saying “no, no, no,no……, like if I kept saying it long enough somehow time would roll back a few minutes and he wouldn’t have died. Those were scary times too. My husband says things always come in threes. i should never have loaned him the Celestine Prophecies. But it was true then, because James Earl Ray decided to kill that wonderful man MLK jr. Maybe you are all too young to remember those days. I was in college then and I believed we could change the world. We stopped a war, didn’t we? We helped to change the lives of AAs for the better a little and women? Or did we? I always thought so, but maybe not. Why do obamabots want to change it back now? With the racism and sexism?
Gwatney’s tragic death is not connected to anything except mental illness and economic misery. Anything else is rubbish–paranoid rubbish at that. It’s got nothing to do with anything–except that the man who shot him needed psychiatric treatment.
