The Caring Party, who wants to help the poor!
The Party of The People!
The party who nurtures the poor, unfortunate and affected!
The Democratic Party!
They care!
They care for all the unfortunates, especially the Homeless in Denver. They care to ensure that they won’t have to look at them and get all yucky and offended. They don’t, after all, want to be embarrassed by all those dirty street people. So, they have arranged Free Haircuts.
Yes, that’s what I said. Free. Haircuts. No Kidding. You can’t make this shit up.
In this way, should one of them be wandering around when Barack Obama and his entourage are preening and prancing around Denver, the poor and homeless will at least look better to them. Pesky homeless! Pesky I tell you!
But Barack Obama and our party Leaders aren’t ALL bad. No sir. They wanted to help the Homeless by getting them off the streets. Not because they Offend, mind you, but because they Care. So, they arranged for Free BIngo Games and movie tickets and temporary housing — even museum tickets!–to keep them off the streets during the convention. Brings a tear to your eye doesn’t it?
Last month The Ticket wrote that officials in Denver, worried about the impression that 50,000 visitors to the Democratic National Convention would get next week, were planning to hide the estimated 4,000 homeless people who hang around the city’s downtown area.
They arranged for free movie passes and bingo games to get them off the street, as well as temporary housing and free tickets to the zoo and Museum of Nature and Science.
I’m sure homeless people are very pre-occupied with tickets to the zoo and Museum of Nature, don’t you?
Anyways, Once the convention is over, the dirty things can just go back to the streets and be grateful that at least they got themselves a haircut this year, compliments of Barack Obama and the Party Of The Poor.
God bless our Democratic Party and Barack Obama! This is just one more reason I am so proud to be a Democrat this year. They really Care!

I work for Denver’s Road Home, which is the mayor’s ten-year plan to eliminate homelessness in Denver. In the first three years of the plan, chronic homelessness has been reduced by 36% and homelessness overall has been reduced by 11%. Additionally in that time, over 1200 new units of housing have been built.
To provide some clarification: A private business, Sly’s Family Salon, opened their doors to the homeless for a day. The City and County of Denver nor Denver Human Services played any role in this endeavor. However we do applaud the community’s support for our homeless population.
Denver’s Road Home is unaware of any movie, zoo, or museum tickets being distributed during the week of the DNC. A statement regarding this issue was released by the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless.
We are not hiding the homeless, we are finding housing and services for them. No bus tickets or other means of transportation were purchased by the City and County of Denver to aid in the transport of the homeless.
Denver’s Road Home is a comprehensive ten-year plan aimed at providing a housing first solution with services. It has existed for three years prior to the DNC and will arduously work to reduced homelessness after. More information my be found at denversroadhome.org

Rent a place for them to go and then feed them. Since Oblecch has never had to go hungry (no matter what his fictional bio says) he wouldn’t think of giving the homeless something to eat.
