Special Convention Coverage on NoQuarter Radio

Join us for a special week of Democratic National Convention coverage on NoQuarter Radio!

The Nocturnal Warrior Tonight’s the big night for Hillary fans: Senator Clinton is scheduled to address the convention at 10pm ET, and we’ll be bracketing her speech with special editions of The Nocturnal Warrior and Hour of Power.

From 9pm to 10 pm ET get your pre-speech warmup with the Nocturnal Warrior and his trusty sidekick Puma Pam. The Warrior’s special guest will be David Freddoso, author of the bestselling The Case Against Barack Obama. Mr. Freddoso is attending the convention in Denver, so we’ll get his first-hand impressions of the mood there as Hillary prepares to make her historic speech.

Listen to the livestream broadcast from 9pm to 10pm ET on NQR. The call-in line for questions is (347) 677-0792, and the NQR chat room will be open as well.

Then, following Senator Clinton’s speech, we’ll be back at 11pm ET with a special late-night edition of Hour of Power. Host DCMediaGirl will be joined by the Nocturnal Warrior for post-speech analysis and discussion with live callers.

Listen to the livestream broadcast from 9pm to 10pm ET on NQR. The call-in line for questions is (347) 677-0792, and of course the chat room will still be going strong.

An audio archive of each show will be available at NQR immediately following the broadcast.

The Rasmussen poll is tied up as tightly as the knots in Obama’s stomach. But Obama was ahead by 3. What happened?

Obama’s support has declined in each of the last three individual nights of polling. This may be either statistical noise or a reaction to the sele ction of Biden. If it’s the latter, it probably has less to do with Biden than Hillary Clinton. Forty-seven percent (47%) of Democratic women say Clinton should have been picked and 21% of them say they’ll vote for McCain.

Thus saeth Rasmussen — a negative bounce. Who woulda thunk?

Excuse the poor editing — the quoted material is the second paragraph.

I hope HRC doesn’t give a kiss ass speach tonight. She owes BO nothing. She doesn’t even owe the wretched DNC anything either.

Tonight on NY1, a New York cable news channel, Clinton’s former campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe told the Obama team, “You’re nominated to be president. It’s your campaign. At some point, quit talking about the Clintons and move on.”

I hope she talks about - wait for it - DEMOCRATIC Values - you know, the stuff the “new democrats” don’t care about - the stuff the “new democrats” HAVEN’T talked about or even considered in their CONvention bambipalooza “platform” - stuff like:

Health care
The working class, the poor
Education
Human rights (including bambi’s dreaded gay rights)
Women’s rights/issues
Privacy
Transparency
National security
Gas prices
Others

If she talks about TRUE DEMOCRATIC VALUES she will put them all to shame - because this CONvention, for the fraudsters, is meant to be all about bambi and nothing else.

Tonight and tomorrow night America is going to see and hear the only two DEMOCRATS in the democratic party - Hillary and Bill Clinton.

the mccain media/add campaign is brilliant.

they don’t give BO a moment to relax. they attack daily

and from our own experience, from march till june we know already how the BO campaign and especially Bo acts on the defense end

Comment by Firefly | 2008-08-26 09:45:46

It’s a great ad - the only thing that bothers me is that the obamacons - especially the media - are going to try to force Hillary to denounce it publicly - like they did with “Passed Over.”

Gawd, I hate these “people!”

Comment by audacity | 2008-08-26 09:52:11

she will do it and at the same time she will enjoy it. yes, it is sad that she is the target of harassment from both camps. at the same time shows that she is the centerpiece of this campaign, even if she is out of it.

in my opinion, she should have step out of the dem party and run independent. she had millions to back her up.
