Take the “Democratic Party” off of Life Support: It is Brain Dead
By medusa on September 2, 2008 at 4:30 PM in Arrogance, Ayers, Bamboozling, Barack Obama, Defunct Democratic Party, Misogyny, Sarah Palin, Sexism, Shakesville, Tennessee Guerilla Women
Do people have any idea how exhausting it is to have to defend women from the constant torrent of sexism and misogyny? But no matter how exhausting, it is our principles as progressives which are under assault. We have to defend women, even in 2008. McEwan makes the point clearly:
I cannot walk away from misogyny for a moment, and so I cannot for a moment walk away from feminism, either. I cannot set it aside any more than I can set aside my womanhood. No — I will not. The choice is mine, and I choose to face the world equipped at all times with the only tool of self-defense I have against inequality. Feminism is my sword and my shield, which I carry because the world is hostile to me, not the other way around.
It’s painful to write about the sexism and misogyny that poisons the very air we breathe.
When Olbermann, Matthews, Shuster, Dowd, Sullivan and the many other excretory organs of the media wagged their nasty tongues about Hillary, we learned that the networks and publishing houses believed that attacks on women were fair game, indeed good business.
And that was BEFORE John McCain selected Sarah Palin to be his VP. Since then, the Bots, the Bloggers and the Fauxgressives have gone totally batshit crazy, making the most heinous accusations and despicable comments one can imagine. As TGW write:
Misogyny Watch: Liberal Bloggers Sink to New Low, Reveal Sarah Palin’s Teen-Age Daughter is Pregnant. Thanks to the ‘progressive’ kossack creeps and their followers, all of Bristol’s friends and acquaintances know that the girl is 5 months pregnant. I can’t even imagine how it feels to be 17 and have the intimate details of your private life — the news of your pregnancy! — splashed all over the internet, the newspapers and the cable news channels.
And these people call themselves Democrats. For example, so-called “Democrat” Taylor Marsh compares Palin to Clarence Thomas, Dan Quayle and Barbie, and then writes:
Elevating women the likes of Palin to being one step away from commander in chief, but not calling this affirmative action selection in go-go boots, diminishes all women of real competency.
Considering Marsh as the source, this is even more ironic than it sounds. Not only was Marsh herself involved in beauty pageants and the porn industry, she once decried the sexism against Hillary but quickly flipped when the winds changed. Fighting sexism was convenient when Hillary was a candidate; now she perpetuates ugly stereotypes against an incredibly successful sitting governor. Additionally, Marsh supports Barack Obama, a man who has zero executive experience, no important legislation with his name on it, no foreign policy experience, and no discernible ideology, other than himself. Indeed, about all Obama has ever done is writes books about Barack Obama. And she has the gall to attack a self-made woman like Sarah Palin? Further examples come from the blogger boyz; you know, the so-called progressives who have co-opted the party. TGW write:
The ‘progressive’ men are actually counting the months of the woman’s pregnancies! That’s right folks. The formerly progressive netroots is trying to bring Sarah Palin down by proving that she is a slut! The menz over at Americablog (and followers) fervently hope to prove that one of Sarah Palin’s children was conceived “out of wedlock!”
In addition to how the children at Daily Kos (mentally, if not physically) first claimed that Palin’s daughter gave birth to Trig, they now have s a poll so you can vote on how soon Palin will withdraw from the ticket, and this post:
Sarah Palin Candidacy Death Watch
by angry young man on Sep 01, 2008 at 04:12:56 PM PDT
Followed by this comment:
This should have been titled: “Sarah Palin Candidacy Death Rattle.” Much more effective than “Death Watch”….
Sarah Palin gets her own page at Huffington Post. She must be a terrible threat to these so-called progressives. After suggesting that Palin is the new Thomas Eagleton and will drop out before the election, Richard Gizbert writes:
But only the most gender-militant, Obama-hating Hilary Girl would have considered voting for this republican ticket anyway.
Yes we will. Dean, Pelosi, Brazile and other leaders have so corrupted the Democratic Party that it is no longer viable. Obama must be defeated so we can purge the party of the anti-American ideologues and the arrogant neo-liberals whose disdain toward the working class, their disrespect of women, their hubris on national security and their disregard of the economic needs of the middle-class, undermines our democratic values. The Democratic Party MUST lose this election in order to redeem itself. What was PumaPac and is now called “the New Democratic Party” has this on their website:
Goodbye Howard Dean. Goodbye Barack Obama. Goodbye Nancy Pelosi. Goodbye Donna Brazile. You have not only lost the White House for the Democratic Party. Today you have brought the Democratic Party to the brink of irrelevancy altogether. John McCain has played you all like a piano.
As a result of the corruption, new groups are popping up: (be sure to read Dr. Lynette Long’s on Caucus Fraud), and PUMAs remain committed to voting against Obama. (If you haven’t posted on Greta Wire, you still can.) The rule manipulation during the RBC, voter intimidation, shameless race-baiting, and dozens of other forms of coercion and thuggery have destroyed the trust, compassion and equality that formed the hallmarks of our party. That, along with the most outrageous sexism and misogyny, which Obama and his cult have capitalized on, instigated and exploited, have contributed to the jack-booted fascism that has appropriated the name “Democrat.”
Today we say GOODBYE to the OLD Democratic Party. The OLD Democratic Party has led us to DISASTER. John McCain and Sarah Palin will win in November by a landslide.
I plan to help them.

Make the bastards pay, upticket and down. This is crucial in OH and PA. Tell all your friends and acquaintances.
I fully intend to so do. I’m irrevocably done with the former Democratic party.
I am voting staright republican this November.
I’ve been talking my heart out for months about obama, problem is I haven’t run into anyone voting for him. I am serious. By this time all my Dem neighbors have signs in their yards. NONE.
I recieved another call last nite from Obama headquarters in town asking if I would help they are extremely shorthanded. I said NO.
In the Northest of Ohio I can tell you The Glorious One isn’t percieved as so Glorious.
I’m in southern Ohio and we don’t want him either.
Obama shouldn’t even bother campaigning here.
We don’t him. He will not win Ohio.
So goes Ohio, so goes the nation.
P.U.M.A
A dem orgainizer called and asked if I was
interested in volunteering to ’spread
the word. I told her no, you guys picked the
wrong candidate and I will be voting straight
repub. She said Oh you must be a Hillary
supporter, did you see her speech. I said I
did and I thought it was a fine speech however
Senator Clinton does not control my brain, I
do and there is NO WAY I could be an advocate
for Obama. But, I said, “good luck with
barry and the kids!”
You reap what you sew.
Well if BO can’t win Northeast Ohio, he can’t win Ohio and if he can’t win Ohio, he won’t win the Presidency. That’s a good thing.
Thank God for Ohio!
For sure, I will pull the lever all the way down. I wish I could take all my votes back that I blindly threw toward the dems way without thinking twice in the past.
Im wondering if all this lies, and distractions are by the obama camp to take our eyes off the biden ball? they are all concerned about Palin , what about bidens son, who obama never mentions.
why because he is a big lobbist
why don’t we see more about this
D.C. CONFIDENTIAL
JOE BIDEN’S FAILED ATTEMPT TO DISLODGE BRATTY SON FROM LOBBYING BIZ
K STREET HOLE Joe, Hunter
Vice presidential nominee Joe Biden and his lobbyist son got nailed yesterday for being rich and insider-y and basically exactly like every other well-connected political clan you’ve ever heard about. “Biden’s Son a Well-Paid D.C. Insider” advises the headline of a story detailing how Hunter Biden has personally billed clients $3.8 million for his lobbying services, and how the firm he co-founded with one of his dad’s buddies excels in a particularly scummy niche of the lobbying trade that involves coercing a small group of congressmen and staffers to slip earmarks into monstrous spending bills.
That article makes no mention of the jobs and large consulting fees Hunter earned from his dad’s biggest contributor (but this one does!) or Sen. Biden’s staggeringly unsuccessful effort to avoid exactly these kinds of stories by getting his son out of the lobbying business altogether. Many of the alleged details on that can be found in a lawsuit filed last year against Hunter and his uncle James Biden, Joe’s brother.
According to a claim filed by pissed-off business guy Anthony Lotito, “In early January 2006, James Biden called Lotito to inform him that his brother, Senator Joseph P. Biden, was concerned with the impact that Hunter’s lobbying would have on his expected campaign for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination.” James allegedly said that “his brother had asked him to seek Lotito’s assistance in finding employment for Hunter in a non-lobbying capacity.”
This supposed ploy worked out just fine at first, assuming that hedge fund work was somehow less of a political liability than lobbying. Lotito partnered with the two Bidens and bought controlling interest of a hedge fund called Paradigm Global Advisors; despite having no hedge fund experience, Hunter was made CEO and given an annual salary of $1.2 million as a way of “fulfilling Senator Biden’s wish that Hunter secure employment in a non-lobbying capacity.” But soon the bottom fell out. Lotito’s lawsuit claims that the Biden boys began “repeatedly citing their political connections and family status” to avoid paying him, and threatened “to use their alleged connections with a former United States senator to retaliate against [Lotito's lawyers] for insisting that his bill be paid.”
The Bidens deny all of this and say Lotito was the bad actor in the deal, but whatever happened, it’s clear that the hedge fund foray was not a success. Hunter quickly returned to lobbying and ostensibly tried to establish some degree of political cover for his dad’s presidential run by playing up his selfless work on the Amtrak Reform Board, a do-nothing patronage gig given to him, of course, by his dad.
Still, the drama continues; the Biden boys were recently slapped with another lawsuit by a different investor who claims they “engaged in an elaborate scheme to defraud” him. It’s unclear how exactly all of this might figure into Barack Obama’s crusade against business-as-usual in Washington, but here’s hoping that some wise journalist covering this week’s Democratic convention will take a look at the impact of Washington establishment brats on Obama’s message of change. We’re looking at you Luke Russert!

I sesne a huge Go Sarah Movement about to take America by storm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am one of those 18 million cracks for Hillary and my crack is now for Sarah!! (pun intended)
Kiss my ass Obamacrats!
I like that. Er, the pun not the crack. No. Really.
Oh my gosh I so needed this! hehehehe I love it! I’ll add my crack too!
I don’t agree with throwing Democrats downticket off just because of some moronic A-list bloggers likely on the Obama payroll.
That’s simply stupid.
Nope. Those who support him and those who did nothing to stand in his way constitute the former Democratic party. I will not vote for a Democrat again until the entire party apparatus is dismantled and rebuilt from the ground up.
I see the problem a little differently. Obama, Dean, Pelosi, et al are like a cancer…A surgeon removes the cancer but tries not to kill the patient. Unless you are a member of the upper economic 1%, putting the Republicans in total control of the government would be a very bad idea, IMO.
As they say, “don’t throw the baby out with the bath water”. When the low level Dems see the leaders taken down they’ll think twice before pulling the same shit.
The problem isn’t necessarily with the perpetrators, Dean and Brazile, et al., because they will be canned after the GE. The real problem lies with those who stood around with their hands in their pockets shrugging and holding up the walls. They’ll do it again and again because they lack a spine. The entire leadership must go, the DNC, the Rules Committee, the Speaker and her second, the Senate Majority Leader and his second, down the list. To do otherwise, IMO, would represent only a fleeting fix. This mess wasn’t made by just the usual suspects.
I agree 100%
That is the truth. I called, wrote and begged my representatives asking them to speak out in defense of Hillary, but never a word.
I was told that Amy Klobuchar D-MN and Senator Clinton were good friends and it was unfair of me to say mean things about Amy for not standing up for Hillary and the democratic voters of MI and FL. Then I was told I couldn’t call her Senate office any more because this was a campaign issue. Only to see her on National television out on the Capital steps with a group of “Female Senators for Obama” or what ever they called themselves. Then just lately I found out she took money for her support, just like the rest of the sell outs.
Nope, I’m with JohninCA | 2008-09-02 16:32:46, Make them pay.
First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out–
because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out–
because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out–
because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out–
because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me–
and there was no one left to speak out for me.
This is why you “throw the baby out with the bath water”. These down ticket Dems did not speak out.
I have loved that quote and it still gives me goose bumps — and it is so true. I believe it and I try to live it. I try to speak out whenever I see an injustice. And I’ve seen plenty this primary season.
Thank you for posting this. I was going to post it.
It’s very fitting.
By that analogy, downticketers who support the caucus thieving candidacy are insuring that the cancer metastasizes.
if this were not an organized and executed coups of the highest order (Democratic Party take-over, hardcore boots chasing down Hillary delegates in motels all over Denver threatening their political careers and whatever else they could think of) I’d be thinking precision, but its not, everyone in it, participating in it, perpetrating it, has to go. No other way to do it but total and utter nihilism in the voting booth.
to put it more simply and calmly
Post-Modern Regime Change.
The fact that these thugs were chasing down Hillary delegates is ridiculous and grotesque.
This is not some third world country.
This is supposed to be the land of the free and we will take our party back.
It’s time to clean house.
Obama, Pelosi, Dean and Brazile need to be kicked out.
Those spineless Democrats who didn’t stand up to corruption have to go as well.
I already sent Jeff Bingaman, D New Mexico a message telling him that because he is supporting Obama and did not speak out about the way Hillary was treated by the DNC, that he has lost my vote. I send him this message at least once a week. I also told Bill Richardson was a sorry excuse he is……I will vote a straight Republican ticket. I may not be able to do much, but I will do what I can, it’s a mistake to do nothing.
That’s the ticket, so to speak.
I’m only downticketing those that he brought and paid for, that sold themselves out. Those that backed him when according to how the people voted were supposed to get behind Hillary. I will not be voting for Boxer again, her appearance at a KOS rally, now the things she’s said this year. I will vote for Feinstein. I need to look how the rest did and start hitting the polling forums here. Voicing how much Obama gave them to get their backing. I know there were several here in CA that put their support behind Obama when Hillary won the votes. They now have to go.
Sorry but The obamacrats and his supporters are just as corrupt and wrong as the right wingers for Bush with voter fraud, misogyny sexism, racism the lies cheating etc., etc., We had one coke addict-Bush we don’t need another one -Obama_ and for me, until a Major Democrat steps up to the plate and Stops this insanity of the Bamabots dems need to suffer. Just like they made 18million voters suffer.
Sorry. To reward those who would reward Obama… is to reward Obama. That’s how I syllogize it, at the risk of being called stupid.
You’re the opposite and you’re also correct.
Oh no. I’ve been planning on voting out the downticket Dems in my state for months. The governor signed the bill that moved up our primaries and our mayor is stealing us blind. Unfortunately, I liked a few of them but they stood by while the corruption in my state multiplied. I think its indicative of the current party elite.
But, why would we downticket those that stuck it out with Hillary? Does anyone have a list? If some SD’s got behind Obama because he won the popular vote in those districts, they did what they were supposed to do. Even if we don’t agree with it. That wouldn’t be right to me to downticket them, that would be lowering ourselves to their level. Especially if they have done a good job, to punish them for doing what they were supposed to do? It’s the corrupt ones we need to go after. Someone has to have a complete list, other than the youtube video. Then we have to go after the leaders.
Those who truly stood up to the O-meisters got the Debra Bartoshevich treatment.
HRC gets my support only. But since I don’t live in NY, I may never get another chance to vote for her. If the Democratic Party is reconstituted from the ground up, she might finally have a chance and only then would I select the Democratic lever and for her only.
there were many who voted opposite their constituents…for money. they will be exposed and taken down with primary challenges and leadership positions. its the only way to stop this madness.
Some got money. But I couldn’t find where our governor got money, so I can only assume he got promised a political favor. Beshear threw his support to Obama when his constituency went overwhelmingly for Hillary.
My rep is John Murtha and I think he stuck with Hillary. I will vote for him but never again for Bobby Casey.
And who ever is in now has probably been corrupted. I’m with you all the way.
agree with that sentiment
that would be stupid if we defeat Obama. Fact is we need to be aiming for severely DIVIDED government. It keeps McCain in check…well, that is the democrats develop a backbone.
I sure with we had a progressive Newt Gingrich!
Ignore the Chauvinists.
Palin Has Real Experience.
By NANCY PFOTENHAUER
September 2, 2008; Page A21
http://online.wsj.com/article_print/SB122031229774188795.html
In Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Sen. John McCain has found a fellow maverick to be his running mate — one who can help bring the right kind of reform to Washington. Ms. Palin, like Mr. McCain, has a strong record of battling the status quo, restoring accountability and effectiveness to government, and working to secure energy independence, root out corruption and curb wasteful spending.
As the chief executive of the nation’s largest state, Ms. Palin oversees some of the country’s largest energy reserves. She came into office at a critical time in Alaska politics, facing a system plagued by corruption. Her response was to immediately begin cleaning it up. The results of her leadership today speak for themselves: Ms. Palin’s approval ratings top 80% — more than 60% higher than that of the Democratic Congress.
Ms. Palin has a tangible, impressive record of achievement and executive experience. She is head of the Alaska National Guard and the chairman of two multistate agencies that make energy decisions that affect all Americans. While Barack Obama spent almost all of the past two years running for president, Ms. Palin has been running a state.
It’s telling that Sen. Obama chose to give a negative, partisan speech at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. He envisions a Democratic monolith in Washington that will solve all of our problems.
But Ms. Palin knows that real change doesn’t come from rigid adherence to party lines. She has transformed her state’s government from what she called a “good ol’ boys network” to an accountable, successful system. Like Mr. McCain, Ms. Palin realizes that the problem isn’t a Republican administration or a Democratic Congress. It’s business as usual in Washington.
Ms. Palin’s experience in reforming Alaskan government shows she’s ready to lead on the national stage. She stood up to members of her own party who abused their power, risking her political career by protesting ethics violations. Ms. Palin went on to pass ethics reform. She has put the people’s interests ahead of her own — like Mr. McCain.
A McCain-Palin administration will not tolerate pork-barrel spending. In Washington, Mr. McCain spoke out against the “Bridge to Nowhere,” a $400 million waste of the taxpayers’ money that led to an island with a few dozen residents. In Juneau, Alaska, Ms. Palin made sure the bridge went nowhere, canceling the earmark. She wasn’t afraid to use her veto pen, and Mr. McCain won’t be either.
In a state where energy production is a top priority, Ms. Palin is an expert in the field. She has never shied away from challenging the influence of big oil companies, all the while fighting for the development of new energy resources. Ms. Palin worked with Democrats and Republicans to institute a rebate that used the state’s vast oil revenues to help offset the high costs of fuel and heating in the state.
Ms. Palin has been a leader in the fight for American energy independence. Like Mr. McCain, she understands that we need an “all of the above” solution to secure our energy future. Her influence extended far beyond Alaska as she recently pushed through a gas pipeline project that will bring new supplies and lower prices to the lower 48 states.
Just last month, meanwhile, the Democrats running Congress went on vacation rather than vote to allow offshore drilling, which would reduce our dependence on foreign oil.
Beyond ethics and energy, Ms. Palin shares Mr. McCain’s passion for conservation. Mr. McCain often speaks of his admiration for Theodore Roosevelt, a conservationist and sportsman who surely would have enjoyed Ms. Palin’s company. She grew up hunting and fishing in Alaska, and she understands the importance of responsible stewardship of our environment.
All women should be proud of Mr. McCain’s selection of Ms. Palin as his running mate, an historic moment that came the week of the 88th anniversary of women’s earning the right to vote. Sarah Palin will break through the glass ceiling that, as she noted on her first day as the vice presidential nominee, has 18 million new cracks thanks to Hillary Clinton.
Loved this article!
Obama and his band of sexist cheerleaders are looking like the politics of the past more and more every hour! Pathetic! They indict themselves by their ludicrous negative attacks and hypocrisy!
Thanks for calling out Taylor Marsh, who also referred to Gov. Palin as “arm candy.” So disappointing - I used to visit her site daily, but when I saw the way she turned on Palin with girl-on-girl misogyny, I removed her from my bookmarks.
Palin and I differ on some social beliefs but I have great respect for her as someone who has done REAL work (can you picture Obama trying to survive one hour on deck as a commercial fisherman?) Not to mention that she does NOT have Ivy League credentials but is a true self-made working-class American who got into politics not by jetsetting to the top with a fawning media but by by rolling up her sleeves in her own small town. By all accounts she -is- a real maverick who challenged her own party to clean up its act, and who while being pro-industry also forced that industry to pay its fair share for infrastructure and the common good. And of course no one gives her credit for being a mother, something all people and certainly all women should respect.
If this year’s reactionary hatred and powerlust is the real Democratic Party, then I’m proud to now be registered “n/a”.
I didn’t know TM was into PORN, but that would explain the OK exploitation of young women like Bristol by these sick idiots and her/TM’s self-hatred is obviously skewing her thinking.
What about Andrea Mitchell, Brown, and Maddow. What rock did they crawl out from under? God, women are their own worst enemies. They don’t have to support Palin politically but they can at least show some respect when they speak about her. They make me sick to my stomach especially Mitchell.
I believe it’s jealousy. For the life of me I can’t think of any other reason.
self hatred!
Thanks for the info, Dr. Kate. It really did have me baffled.
Big time she is into it. She even wrote a vanity book about her experience working for an online pornography outfit.
I don’t mean online, I mean simply a pornography outfit.
The Democratic Party denigrates its own voters by assuming we’re too stupid to see the difference between Palin and Obama.
Palin stood against her own party’s corruption in her own state.
Obama NEVER stood against Chicago corruption or DNC corruption, but used it for his own personal gain.
I think we can ALL see who really represents “change.”
And Donna Brazille saying Pali’s children are “fair game?”
That’s not the Democratic Party I knew.
I will be an Independent until the day I die, thanks to the guttersnipe named Donna Brazille.
And Donna Brazille saying Pali’s children are “fair game?”
- There is something wrong with her. She can’t possibly be happy. You can see that she is evil and mean.
Taylor Marsh strikes me as someone who talks out of both sides of her mouth to get her bills paid. She claims to be DEMOCRAT and hides behind that identity as she watches and contribute to the very thing she railed against during the primary. So, without really seeing Sarah as a mother, a woman and leader, she’d already painted her as irrelevant and ‘arm candy’. What a shame.
Amen. I’ve given on the site, too.
Well, I went stupid on that one. I was endorsing another commenter who had exited Marsh’s site. Left an “UP” and clicked the wrong button. Sorry for the craziness.
Obama’s “Democratic” Party is out of touch with America. It represent the sexist politics of the past. And the f’n media propels it. The more they attack, the more they look like the cowards they are.

Obama spokesman: “Palin was a supporter of Pat Buchanan, a right-winger or as many Jews call him: a Nazi sympathizer.”
Make the real Nazis pay. Remember Jeremiah, remember Ayers, and remember in November.
This obnoxious statement from the congressman and then from the Obama staffer requires loud objection from every civil American. Disgraceful.
Christ. I don’t always agree with Pat but he’s no Nazi sympathizer and I doubt many Jews feel that way, as well. They know who the real Nazis are. That’s two strikes against that idiot spokesman. What utter gall.
I have several female friends who say they are not impressed with Sarah Palin (personally, I think it is snobbery, ignorance, residual Dem. Party loyalty, etc.), but they are incensed at this fixation on pregnancy and her daughter, which is out-of-bounds for them.
Obamacrats can keep going after Palin at their own peril. I believe it will backfire. I believe she will be the sleeper surprise that will blossom positively, while Rezko, Ayers, al-Mansour, al-Khalili, Auchmi, Wright, citizenship, missing records, missing friends who will be identified, ACORN, and other goodies about Obama will/and are starting to reveal themselves. There is just too much detritus flying around out there.
The misogynist left thinks it has scored with its attacks on Palin — little do they know the backlash headed their way.
The sexist and hateful vitriol used against Clinton by the radical left is becoming ever clearer - many more now see the trend and will rally to Palin.

Perhaps an off topic question but one worth looking at as I think it applies in the big picture re: biased, sexist news coverage, especially by CNN and MSNBC.

Other than not watching their biased coverage, any other ideas/suggestions/thoughts?

america first!
This is a great idea! Anyone want to post their sponsors so I can do the same w/o giving them a nielson?
I’d love to know what sponsors to boycott!
Good idea!!
I really hope Hillary makes a atatement about this! I would love to hear that “Shame on you, senator Obama!” that we heard in the primary. I have no idea why she doesn’t put country before party and if she sits quietly, well, I will have to turn my back on her, too!
That’s what I would expect a republican to d!
Not necessarily, I too am beginning to wonder how much Hillary is willing to sacrifice for “party unity”. Course two of her friends are dead.
All of a sudden there is this ‘I’m mad at Hillary!’ stamping my feet meme going around. Republicans know Hillary supporters are loyal and are hesitant to vote for McCain/Palin. What better way to try and get their votes. (still trying to make Hillary look bad)
Just to add to my last statement, I do think there are many Hillary supporters that are NObama in NOvember.
I’m not a Republican; I was a Hillary supporter, but I almost gagged as she told us what a great President Obama would be and that we should support him. I repost here what was posted by:

First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out–
because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out–
because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out–
because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out–
because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me–
and there was no one left to speak out for me.
This is why you “throw the baby out with the bath water”. These down ticket Dems did not speak out.”
There comes a point where you have to stand for something or you’ll fall for anything!
This isn’t Hillary’s fight, but it’s a great way for republicans to once again blame Hillary.
Where were the republicans when Hillary was being smeared? Did they speak out? No, they were doing the smearing also.
I really hope Hillary makes a statement about this! I would love to hear that “Shame on you, senator Obama!” that we heard in the primary. I have no idea why she doesn’t put country before party and if she sits quietly, well, I will have to turn my back on her, too!
correct; if hillary doesn’t say something about this pile-on, it will seriously diminsh her standing in a lot of people’s eyes.
I seriously doubt it will make a difference in her suppo
