Introducing a new blog for Sarah Palin

I receive lots of requests asking us to feature certain blogs, or add blogs to our already long blogroll. Usually, I decline to do so. But this individual has a blog that is worth a visit: Stop Smearing Sarah.
It’s tragic this person has had to create this site, but it is necessary. The onslaught of attacks from ALL OVER the media — not just the mainstream media but even the cheesy weeklies like Us and National Enquirer are piling on.
You and I know that the main reason she is being attacked so viciously is because she is a woman.
When it happened to Hillary, we thought it was in good part because she’d been targeted for the past 16+ years along with her husband.
But NOW we know that this is SOP whenever the candidate is female.
It makes me sick.
It makes me furious.
It makes me realize that all the “gains” that women have supposedly made over the past 50+ years are truly but a small start.
Chris Matthews and his ilk believe that women have secured their rights and that they’re now treated just like men.
They have NO idea how it feels to be a woman and watch the odious spectacle that is going on right now in attacking Sarah Palin from all corners of the media.
My wife works at an abuse shelter for women and believe me the stories I hear are enough to make strong men weep.
So you want this anti-woman rights woman in the White House?
It’s called “women’s rights”. (not that you care.)
And yours is a baseless smear against Sarah Palin. She is not anti-woman.

Just because we don’t like her policies does not excuse sexist attacks. I can’t stand Clarence Thomas but I would never dream of attacking his race - nor would most liberals. But we seem to think women are fair game. Until this stops I believe abuse of women will continue to be a big problem in our society.
What ever happened to arguments based on facts and principles? Democrats are acting like the kind of Republicans that have ruined that party. God help this country if we don’t stop. Contrary to conventional wisdom Bill Clinton did not resort to personal attacks and was reelected twice. His approval ratings were 65% when he left office. So staying on the high road is not only the right thing to do, it works.
If she was anti-woman’s rights she would not be where she is today. Think about it.
Sarah as mayor blocked a bill that would have prevented abortions. She allowed as Governor legislation to allow same-sex partner benefits.
She said even tho it was against her personal beliefs, she understood her job to be one that is faithful to the Constitution!
Sarah is not Phyllis Schalfly. She did say a few months ago that women shouldn’t “whine” about sexism–at the time Hillary’s holocaust was occurring–and that they should just do their job and always we’ll have some sexism!
Now, we can say, welcome to Feminism in the media, Sarah, and help us go a long way. Now, you’re one of us!

Yeah Hillary was treated terribly at the convention. She received a shout out from every major speaker. She was given center stage during the roll call. Bill got a three and a half minute standing ovation before his speech.
Christ it is like the whole delegation has to prostrate themselves before the Clintons in order for you guys to say they weren’t mistreated.
The Clintons WERE mistreated! How they were treated at the Convention changes nothing about how they were treated!

I was always told that if I wanted freedom as a woman, I should make sure I voted Democrat. If I wanted to insure my right to choose, I should make sure I voted Democrat. Ben Graber is a Democrat running against Wexler as an Independent. You know how wonderful it is living in Florida. Wexler, however feels Florida isn’t a good enough place to raise his kids.
