Reuters: McCain Surge Attributable To “White Women Voters”
By Uppity Woman on September 9, 2008 at 12:40 PM in Barack Obama, CNN, Democratic Party, Democrats Against Obama, Donna Brazile, Gender Bias, Howard Dean, John McCain, MSNBC, Misogyny, Nancy Pelosi, Sexism, general election
Hey Barack! It’s the Women, stupid!
Too late! We already know what you are.
But then, like Donna Brazile said, you don’t need us.
Remember when you made another Obama Fantasy Remark about how you were SURE you could get all the Hillary Clinton voters to vote for you? Bzzzzzzzz! Wrong!
Remember how you sent your “surrogates” out to bash Hillary left and right–and enjoyed every second of it?
Remember telling her she’s “likeable enough”?
Remember your sicko comment about her having ‘Periodic moments”? Remember Annie Oakley?
Remember when you called that reporter Sweetie? Remember when you offered a female pharmacist a kiss to wear your button? And offered to get down on your knees?
We do!
“99 Problems And A Bitch Isn’t One of Them“? Oooooooooops! Guess again! Lotsa bitches are your problem now. See how Ludacris that is? Chuckle….chuckle….
Remember when your online sycophants ran us out of forums, and called us all kinds of filthy despicable names that can’t be written here without embarrassment? Remember? We do!
See how well that’s working out for you, woman-hater. But please tell them to keep it up! It’s growing our numbers! All of you are trapped in your own irony! Thanks!
We got slammed with the Race Card day and night, Barack. By your supporters, by your surrogates, and by YOU.
The S word is the new R word. Or as Tina Fey warned, Bitch is the new Black. How’s it feel? Irony, Barack. Irony.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican presidential candidate John McCain has gained huge support and now leads Democrat Barack Obama among white women voters since naming Sarah Palin as his running mate, according to a survey published on Tuesday.
The Washington Post/ABC News poll found that much of McCain’s surge in the polls since the Republican National Convention is attributable to the shift in support among white women.
How about you, Howard? How ya feeling, guy? I can’t tell you how much we appreciated your revoltingly smug silence during the figurative Sharia burning of Hillary. It spoke volumes about you, fella. If you have to go back to being a doctor in January, please do us one big favor: Don’t practice on women again. Thanks!
Yo, Donna! How ya doing, girl? How’s that plan to tell us to all go to hell coming along? You know, all those unnecessary Democrats from the base who were in your way? People over 50? Seniors? Bitter hicks with guns? White Women? How’s that working out for you now, Donna? In a sense, we should all be grateful for your mouth.
Any one of us who has spent plenty of quality time in Corporate America recognizes you.
You’re the woman who kneecaps her way to just below the top and then kicks the ladder out from under you so that you don’t have any of the Girly competition nipping at your heels while you finger your pearls. Most of us were usually waiting for women like you to stand near a corporate hole. One mistake and we all threw you in your own hole and then went out to lunch and celebrated. You are our Clarence Thomas, aren’t you, girl?
CNN’s Mr. Magoo, Bill Schneider: Remember when you kept giving us “four weeks” to move onto the next “Phase of grief”? Or how you kept saying we would all fall in line? How about your constant Magoo cracks about how there just aren’t that many of us? How ya doing? We aren’t grieving or “Sulking,” you half-assed fool. We are pissed off. And we Do. Not. Want. Barack. Obama. There’s a huge difference. Just so you know. Let me help refresh your ignorant memory. Back In early July, you, Mr. Magoo, said:
These things always take time to heal,” said Bill Schneider, CNN senior political analyst. “I think Clinton’s supporters are waiting to see if Sen. Obama will pick her as vice president. That would certainly be very healing to them.
…and then you said….
If he doesn’t pick her, a later stage of grief is depression and then acceptance,” Schneider said. “In the end I expect Clinton supporters will accept Obama, because they will listen to Sen. Clinton, who has said the stakes are too high for Democrats to sulk.”
Do yourself a favor, Mr. Magoo. Go do something else for a living. You are looking like a fool here. And as I said back then, we never wanted Hillary to be Barky’s Bridesmaid. Many of us have seen enough of the mediocre man hiring on the superior woman to make him look good while he prances around and takes credit.
If Cable News networks like yours hadn’t buried some very unsavory details about Barack Obama, his affiliations, his Plans, the caucus fraud, and the odd redistribution of delegate numbers in certain districts, the Democratic Party would have a winning ticket today.
Maybe if you and your network had reminded people that plenty of superdelegates voted against the will of their districts, we would have a winning ticket today.
Maybe if you and your network hadn’t continually tried to force Hillary Clinton to get out of a race that was none of your damned business as “reporters,” we would have a winning ticket today. I hold you responsible. Maybe next time, your network will stick to your real job of reporting instead of tying to fake out America into picking Presidents you want. MSNBC got the point recently, albeit too late. You will too.
The interesting ( and fun!) thing here is all of these Hillary bashing pigs are now crippled with the pick of Sarah Palin as John McCain’s VP. It’s all just too close to the media murder of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and the Republicans have learned well. Let’s face it: As a party, they have always been smarter than us. They know now that these bashers all have to be careful of looking obvious. Not that they didn’t already look obvious to us women who watched things unfold. So keep it up CNN, MSNBC! We appreciate you trying to derail Sarah. We appreciate your questioning whether being a VP is “right” for a woman with kids–especially considering Barack Obama is only home on weekends and is therefore one heck of a lousy father. Imagine him sacrificing his family for his political career!!! Awful! Just awful! We appreciate your worrying about “vetting” Sarah. You should talk! Caught in your own irony, once again.
Barack! Keep in touch with your vibrating cell phone, Sweetie! We’re brushing you right off our shoulders, man!

funny post…also uppity, thank you for the article. very nicely put.

THE CRYSTAL BALL
lol
right on….I second that!!
Awesome article.
BUT…(yes there’s a but) I would feel MUCH much better if this should be November 5th, with the results in as McCain being pronounced the winner.
Because of my cautious nature, I just shudder at exclamations of “Mission Accomplished” before all is said and done.
jus sayin
Agreed. Let’s still keep our fingers crossed.
He certainly has accomplished one mission …. to remake the party in his image. Funny thing about that though …. not everyone likes what it looks like.
THIS is the woman some of us are really, really liking:
http://marcambinder.theatlantic.com/archives/2008/09/palin_on_cspan.php
Hey Uppity. I am a
HillaryMcCain supporter and am a man. I went to a McCain rally in Colorado Springs and there was a man with a sign saying “Hillary Supporters for McCain”. So, there are least two of us who have joined the brigades of women storming the walls that Howard Dean is hiding behind.Thank you JJ. I thank you wonderfully TRUE progessive men often at my blog. WHere would we women be without you! The others are not progressives, they just hijacked the word. More like regressives. They can’t hold a candle to you.
Hey, I’m a man! Give me some love!
j/k I’m a guy who sees the best in Hillary, and that’s just plain common sense.
Big smooch to you, destardi and JJ, and to all the other guys out there who like and respect women and stick up for them - not only when it’s convenient. We LOVE you!!!
The men that come here, that are speaking out are the exception, not the rule and that saddens me. When I see Republican men coming out by the majority to stand behind their women…the voices that were outshouted at the treatment Hillary received. It doesn’t make me angry. It deeply saddens me.
Democrat men were supposed to be the progressive that stood behind their women, helped to fight for them. I guess it was just another lie.
My husband is Republican, although he wasn’t always Republican. In college he was Democrat, for several years out of college he was Democrat. When he switched to being Republican he became a diehard Republican.
When I told him who I was supporting I thought OK here comes the Republican beating, which is why we don’t discuss politics a lot here. It was the opposite. He stood behind me, he never ridiculed her. He had nothing but good things to say about her and President Clinton. I knew he wouldn’t vote for her, but he stood behind me and my decision.
Whenever I’d get discouraged over something happening in the primary, with the MSM he was my cheerleader. He’d say, “Don’t get discouraged. Your supporting one tough women. Trust me there isn’t a Republican alive that doesn’t know she’d be hard to beat. If you believe in her, you fight for her.” Now I have to ponder if it would have been the same if he had remained a Democrat after seeing the almost deafening silence from the majority of Democrat men.
That should be you’re and woman, not women. I’m sorry it still upsets me when I think about the treatment Hillary had to endure, and that Sarah is now having to endure.
Destardi and JJ, really glad you guys are here! Have to say I bet there are many more like you who it deeply rankles to hear women gettin spat on! My good friend also who doesnt blog but feels these things also just as I do. So glad you both do blog though cause I have enjoyed reading your blogs.
Make that a table for 3. Change that to 4, I have to bring my LADY with ME!!!!! NObama08/HRC12
Thank you just the same, though. LOL.
I read an article about Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews getting dumped by MSNBC, and how “liberal bloggers are reacting with indignation, saying they’re caving to RIGHT WING PRESSURE.”
Then Howard Kurtzman went on to quote and link Jeralynn and Taylor Marsh. The Obama campaign is aware there’s a big problem.
It seems no body believed Sarah Palin burned books, ate an Eskimo in part of a bizarre Pentecostal sabbath or is like a dominatrix or an Islamic terrorist. So, now the attacks are “she’s not a maverick” and “she’s not from a small town” and “she was for the Bridge To Nowhere before she was against it.” That last line loosely borrowed from John Kerry didn’t help him beat Bush in 2004, and I doubt it will help Obama now. But it looks like his campaign has matured to high school taunts now.
The buttheads need to remember that Barry and JoeBo each voted twice for the bridge not taken … putting it ahead of Katrina victims.
Perhaps Oblahblah should give a speech on bridges, warning the audience not to burn them to the rear, to the front, and underneath them as he has during this campaign. He could finally speak from experience.
Ditto! Whatever happened to the statement that we are insignificant? We don’t matter. We should just stay at home. That Pumas are just a handful of old bitter women? That’s some handful when you add us to the Republican’s.
Let’s not get overconfident as Obama supporters did. We must remain vigilant. We still have a lot of work to do. We must remain vigilant even after this election to ensure this never happens again to any women whether she has a D, an R, or an I behind her name. We may not agree with them personally on a political stage. But, we must stand up to make sure it is about the issues they’re debated on. Not their sex.
Forgot the link I was looking for stop/don’t post!
http://thenewagenda.net/
Totally agree with you! Why in the world would any woman vote for a man who hates women?
(White people also)
One good brush off deserves another.

O PASTOR IN SEX SCANDAL
REV. WRIGHT DONE ME WRONG: CHURCH LADY
SAMUEL GOLDSMITH in Dallas
and JEANE MacINTOSH in NY
Elizabeth Payne
September 9, 2008
He almost wrecked Barack Obama’s presidential dreams, and now firebrand pastor Jeremiah Wright has helped destroy a Dallas church worker’s marriage - and her job, The Post has learned.
Elizabeth Payne, 37, said she had a steamy sexual affair with the controversial, racially divisive man of the cloth while she was an executive assistant at a church headed by a popular Wright protégé.
When word of the unholy alliance got out, Payne’s husband dumped her, and she was canned from the plum job at Friendship-West Baptist Church, she told The Post.
“I was involved with Rev. Wright, and that’s why I lost my job and why my husband divorced me,” Payne said.
She refused to reveal when the adulterous affair started or how she met Wright.
But fellow churchgoers at Friendship-West “found out about the affair in the spring,” Payne said.
At the time, she was secretary to the Rev. Frederick Haynes III, a longtime Wright disciple.
In April, Payne organized a series of Texas public appearances by Wright, 67. Weeks before, Obama had disavowed his preacher of 20 years after Wright’s anti-government rants came to light.
“Liz was by Rev. Wright’s side day and night during those days,” a church source said.
“It’s all true,” said Payne, adding that she has filed a wrongful-dismissal claim with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to get her job back.
In an ironic twist, Wright last night spoke at an East Orange, NJ, church revival on the subject of “unexpected problems.”
“There’s no such thing as a problem-free relationship,” he told a packed Elmwood United Presbyterian Church. “In life, you’ll have unexpected problems.”
He punctuated his 45-minute sermon with evocative 1960s hits, including the Supremes’ “Where Did Our Love Go,” Frankie Beverley’s “Joy and Pain,” and the Temptations’ “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg.” He’s set to speak there again tonight.
Payne’s husband, Fred Payne, 64, said he learned of the affair in late February, when he discovered e-mails between his wife and Wright.
“There must have been about 80 of them, back and forth,” he said. “Wright said things like he was going to leave his wife for Elizabeth.”
Wright has been married to his second wife, Ramah, for more than 20 years.
The preacher reportedly wooed Ramah away from her first husband in the 1980s, when the couple came to marriage counseling at Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.
After discovering he had been cuckolded, Fred Payne, who had married Elizabeth in October 2006, headed straight for divorce court.
“I was downright mad about this bull- - - -,” said Fred, who said he is “in the oil and gas business,” belongs to a hunting club and makes his own bullets in his garage.
“People wouldn’t be happy to know that my wife was sleeping with a black man.”
He added, “Rev. Haynes doesn’t like the interracial thing, either. This was quite an issue for him.”
Elizabeth Payne said she has been banished by Haynes and the flock at Friendship-West.
“I’m not a member of the congregation anymore; I’m not even allowed on the premises,” she said.
Wright became an embarrassment for Obama after videos of the preacher’s old sermons emerged.
In them, Wright blamed the United States for the 9/11 attacks and boomed, “God damn America!”

Good Article Uppity….Well Done !
Want a real laugh? Take a look at Elizabeth Payne.
http://tinyurl.com/5g4toj
What happened to that hatred for White KKK America? She was fired because her boss another pastor doesn’t believe in mixed race relationships. It’s all ready to become a made for TV movie!
The story would be even better if it weren’t trying to rewrite the past to better suit/serve Obama.
From the article:
In April, Payne organized a series of Texas public appearances by Wright, 67. Weeks before, Obama had disavowed his preacher of 20 years after Wright’s anti-government rants came to light.
I’m sorry but as I recall, Obama didn’t disavow Wright until Wright made that very disparaging remark about Obama’s being just a politician. We have to remember that Obama (in his oh-so-famous race speech that was given because of the initial controversy of Wright’s rants) swore that he could never disown Wright any more than he could his own (apparently racist) grandmother. Obama defended Wright and rationalized Wright’s comments.
But when Wright indicated he wasn’t upset with Obama because that was what politicians do, THAT was when Wright went over the line and had to be thrown under the bus. In fact, a transcript of Obama’s reaction to Wright’s appearance at the National Press Club can be found at http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/04/29/transcript-obama-press-conference-on-jeremiah-wright/ .
Here’s the most damning part:
QUESTION: What’s going to happen with these distractions that have taken you…?
OBAMA: Well, I want to use this press conference to make people absolutely clear that, obviously, whatever relationship I had with Reverend Wright has changed, as a consequence of this.
I don’t think that he showed much concern for me. More importantly, I don’t think he showed much concern for what we are trying to do in this campaign and what we’re trying to do for the American people and with the American people.
And, obviously, he’s free to speak out on issues that are of concern to him, and he can do it in any ways that he wants. But I feel very strongly that I want to make absolutely clear that I do not subscribe to the views that he expressed. I believe they are wrong. I think they are destructive. And to the extent that he continues to speak out, I do not expect those views to be attributed to me.
This happened on APRIL 29. I find it a bit hard to believe the timeline offered in the article. Obama did NOT disavow Wright until April 29–he had merely distanced himself from Wright’s comments before April.
Looks like Jeremiah’s Penis is coming home to roost.
So many preaching penises- John Edwards fits that scenario also. Makes me wonder a bit about Larry Sinclair too..
So what else is new with Wright? I mean the guy was “counseling” a couple in his congregation. Marriage counseling. The problem was he was Boinking the wife the whole time. They ended up divorced and he marriage the wife. Some pastor. Here’s a jerk who calls what “girls” give out “kibbles and bits”. He’s a perv so this doesn’t surprise me.
amen and hallelujiah
can’t wait till election day!

McCain-Palin ‘08
Hillary ‘12
Brilliant article. It is all so simple really. Gloria Steinem really threw me for a loop when she dissed Palin. What was she fighting for all those years–only liberal women. I thought it was all women and choice.
I recently re-registered as a republican after being a democrat for 50 years. I love Hillary but the democrats blew it.
McCain/Palin for me. Go PUMA
In March I re-registered as an Independent, now that we are in the general and the democrats have proved even more of an embarrasment I am going to re-register as part of the New Republican Party after the election. I do not want to risk my chances of voting to do it before the election.
A friend emailed me Steinem’s article this am and thank goodness I have been doing extensive reading about Palin’s history. I was able to rebut just about everything Steinem said about her. I’m quite sure the truthful side has never been looked into by this friend and perhaps she had her eyes opened a little.
Thanks Uppity. This is a great piece and it is only the beginning of Obama’s downfall. You can be sure the Republicans have lots of stuff to dish on Obama.
I’ve finally accepted the fact that the Democrats just don’t have enough discipline or intelligence to run a successful Presidential campaign. They remind me a little of Elmer Fudd!
I’m switching to Independent after the elections and hopefully, will never identify as a Democrat again.
The women on the left have a very sad take on how women fit into this world and how to get ahead. But really, most of these liberal feminists come from a priveleged background, marry well and don’t have any appreciation of what a self-made woman goes through to establish herself. They’re religious bigots, too. Throughout the Bush administration, the evangelicals were portrayed as backwoods snakehandlers praying for the Rapture, and Catholics were all in on the boy-fucking and gay-bashing, and now this woman is being branded with all kinds of stereotypes. I fell like I’m watching the birth of fascism. The attacks against a people and their culture - Christians, Jews and Muslims - is a little frightening. Because whether Obama is Muslim or not is of little or no concern to me. He probably was and hid it from the public and dropped the ball on that one. But the church he attended for 20 years wasn’t Christian, and he isn’t one and never was. He’s a marxist, humanist, egotist.
“Gloria Steinem really threw me for a loop when she dissed Palin. What was she fighting for all those years–only liberal women. I thought it was all women and choice.”
To be in support of women’s rights, Gloria Steinem has to put gender before her political ideology? Isn’t that a form of sexism? If a man had a choice between a male candidate who didn’t support his ideology and a woman who did, if he chose the male because any man is better than a woman, it would be considered sexist. Are you asking Ms. Steinem do to that, choose any woman is better than a man?
I have to support Governor Palin as the vice president candidate even though I don’t support many of her views (that is the ones I’ve been able to research on my own and reach a conclusion about, the rest will have to wait until the McCain campaign stops sequestering her) or else I’m sexist?
I’ve decided to support President McCain for president. At this point, based on my research into Governor Palin, I’m will not give my support to the second half of the ticket. That may change as I learn more about her. But as of now, I’ll vote McCain and pray he finishes out his term. Does that make me sexist because I don’t agree with Governor Palin policies and I refuse to go against my value system to vocalize support for her?
Because I’m white and leery about Senator Obama because of his background with nefarious people, his possibility of dual citizenship, his lack of accomplishment as a politician, etc…, I’m racist. Because I’m a woman and choose to vote for McCain but have reservations about his vice candidate choice, I’m sexist. Basing my vote on issues, integrity, accomplishments, leadership ability, etc… makes me sexist and racist. I can’t win in this election.
Steinem is a true feminist, not a fake bubble-gum chewing repub. She’s simply wrong about obama.
Obama is anti-feminist down to his cloven hoofs.
Too bad Steinem can’t see that. But I would never question her commitment to the cause of feminism. She’s one of America’s great icons
(and the list is getting really thin).
What a GREAT line! Must. Use.
Generally speaking- “Mothers know best.”
Yo, Brazille. A mind is like a parachute. It`s only useful when open.
That was great — everything I wanted to say but was too filled with anger to put into words. Thank you, thank you thank you. I hope his campaign reads it.
Uppity
You are brilliant. You nailed it all the way. You have made my day again.
I’m a non-white woman. I’m part of that surge too!
Me too!
Me three!
the Surge is working!
Me Four — all women’s rights.
Yes, It is not just White women who will NOT vote for Obama. It is not just White women who are disgusted with the blatant sexist attacks from Obama, the DNC and the MSM. It is women of every color. It is not just women, it is also men who witnessed the attacks against Hillary and her supporters. It is not only the old but the young voters who were appalled at this kind of behavior. The entire world saw what they did, what they continue to do.
I have the answer to the question that many many in the MSM have asked and are unable to get an answer for…..”What has Barack Obama accomplished in his political career”..1) He has managed to get millions of our hard earned money and give it to anti- American terrorist people like Rezco, Wright, Ayers, etc. 2) he has managed in a few short months to undo all the progress and divide this country on race and sex.
Considering all of his associates, his money trail, I believe that he was hand picketed for this election, to bring America down. I believe that he has accomplished what he was set out to do, I believe that was the whole purpose of this insanity.
Yes, we do often lapse into the stereotypical “older white woman” catchall because that’s how the misinformation media refers to us. But believe me, we know you’re there and how important you are.
We also know how much more societal pressure there is on some of you to support Obama.
So I’d like to send a big shout out to all like-minded women and men that don’t fall into the narrow identity our detractors have tried to give us.
You give this movement the validity and strength it needs to exist, and we absolutely could not do it without you.
Bless your heart. We love ya!
YAAAYYYY!!! It ain’t the color, it’s the character (hmmm, wonder where that idea came from…).
Good thing Barky & the rest of the Dems don’t need my vote. This white woman isn’t getting over it!
I don’t trust Barky one bit. The Dems had a winner, but chose to knock her down and drag her around by her hair. Good one morons!!
Good work, Uppity. I think Uppity means willing to challenge suppression, not arrogant. You own that word now.
Bravo, Uppity. Today, when asked about the huge swing of white women voters to the McCain camp, Barky hemmed and hawed and basically changed the subject. He’s afraid of strong white women, us “typical white women.” How much of this misogyny stems from mother abandonment issues and his black power, angry wife would take a lifetime to sort out.
Contrast that to John McCain, who actually appears to enjoy sharing the limelight with a woman, and who is married to a happy woman who is secure in her own identity, secure enough to adopt a non-white child.
Small wonder.
This is the year I found out that progressives hate women almost as much as neocons do.

Eehmmm….Fascists are not well known for either a sense of humor or being particularly supportive of Female Rights….Neither are Socialists/Communists….chuckle….
*** Soeterobama is a FASCIST and Unfit For Any Elective Office…nuff said ***
And if he really were a Muslim, he wouldn’t take women too seriously either.
Bo certainly is affronted by Palin. He has his mob working on it too. Meanwhile McCain is the invisible Republican candidate, I guess.
Hmmmm…..The very fact that Barry Soeterobama is pickin snit fights with the VP is telling…..Even FASCISTS flp sweat ! This is gettin to be very entertaining….The Best antidote to the demise of my party that has been usurped by lunatic Fascists…..Eat Popcorn while I watch em’ go down…..
A vote for McCain in 08 is a vote for Clinton in 2012…..Country First
Progressives are ex-repubs (wink, wink) sent here to sabotage the Dem party by bashing Hillary. Markos, Ariana, TPM etc. all of whose websites wouldn’t suprise me if they go completely conservative in the next few weeks. Dem leadership must go. Go McCain/Palin!
They already jumped on the stoning bandwagon. They thought for sure once it was discovered Bristol Palin is pregnant, the right would cast her out and brand her with a scarlet letter. hey don’t get it.
They aren’t progressives. Don’t be fooled. They just hijacked the term like they tried to hijack our party. THey are radicals and left-over communists, marxists, maoists, socialists, radicals and old hippies still on the bong who hooked the Children. They are not progressives at all. They Regressives.
It’s safe to say we have accepted McCain/Palin.
LMAO!
I never liked Hillary Clinton until I saw how she worked her butt of in this campaign & how Obama & his thugs trashed her. I would have been happy with her or McCain as president. Now that she’s out of the race, I’m scared to death Obama could end up in the white house. Between Hillary & McCain, it was just the difference in issues but with Obama it’s about are we going to be safe. I hope the women who are angry with Obama will not back peddle like Geraldine Ferrare.
I have always underestimated Hillary.
I thought she could not identify enough with voters to get elected in New York - WRONG.
I thought she would act as a celebrity senator and not work well with others - WRONG.
I thought she would not be a forceful leader as a presidential candidate - WRONG.
In all three cases I was wrong because i failed to appreciate her capacity to grow.
Donna Brazille just can’t help herself. Over the weekend she said [apparently on CNN, a network I no longer watch] that:
“Jesus was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a governor.”
Hello? Losing, desperate comment. And remember all the howling condemnation when Carville made the Judas remark?
But please keep it coming. With every stupid attack, the polls climb–for McCain and Palin.
Amazing!
Oh I’m sure all the Governors in the U.S. are going to really like that comment. NOT!
What does that even mean? Republicans/women/non-Obama supporters are somehow responsible for the crucifixion? Agents of the devil? Tyrants deserving of damnation? Or perhaps that Obama died for our sins, or that the apocalypse is nigh?
It’s such an ignorant and hate-filled remark, offensive on so many levels. I’ve heard/read it so many times now, and it still gets me spewing.
It means that women are the new Jews. (Shamelessly stolen from another poster)
Maybe it means Palin will crucify Obama in the polls. In that case it would be an accurate statement!
Hmmm….Is Commissar Donna Brazeal talkin about the Historical Jesus or Jeezus the Black Ghetto Freedom Fighter…chuckle…..apparently part time community oragnizer….Oh Brother !sheeeesh!
anybody notice that Pilate remainded in control of the government?
Donna, please “Stop the hate”
hehehehe
‘Jesus’ wasn’t paid, Obama was…
Obama is no ‘Jesus’!
peggy sue…
donna brazile said that?
wow.
she is openly comparing obobo to Jesus Christ!
and Gov Palin to Pontius Pilate?
ooowhoa….she is really stirring the pot now.
i never watch anything but FOX now, so i never get to hear this crap. wonder if any of the “news” media has picked up brazile’s latest nugget?
she is just another shill for the bobo, and not a very effective one now that Hillary is out and Sarah is in.
surprise donna..Sarah is allowed to fight back.
poor old donna….
soon she will be melllttiiinngggg. all that will be left will be her pointy hat in a little puddle.
I tried to send an email to DB but it bounced back. Go figure.
1. Anytime Obama compares himself to Sarah Palin he loses. Every. Single. Time. But dumbass sexist green with envy Obama can’t help himself.
2. The Jesus comparisons freak voters out.
3. Pontius Pilate made a real life or death decision that was above his pay grade. Does Obama really want to go there?
4. Being a Governor then was not the same as it is now. We elect or governors and take pride in that.
5. It makes Obama explain his community organizing and brings scrutiny to his resume. That’s the last thing he needs.
I am a white man and we are surging too.
Go MacPalin.
America’s women sweetie chicks are coming home to roost, as it were.
Fun article, Uppity except for all those bad flashback quotes.
I guess many of us took Donna B. seriously when she said we weren’t necessary. We “got on board” with what she told us.
We got in line with her program and left. Oops, wrong line for the Dem. Party.
