Raila Odinga, who claimed that President Mwai Kibaki rigged his election victory earlier this year and whose followers rioted, raped, pillaged, and murdered after the election, is Barack Obama’s cousin. In a story reported by the BBC, Obinga celebrated his connection to the president hopeful by sharing his familial tie. According to Odinga, Obama’s father was his uncle.
If the family connection was all, it is easily dismissed because many of us have relatives we would rather forget. Sadly, that is not all. Odinga had a pact with the National Muslim Leaders’ Forum, a hardcore Islamic organization that represents Kenya’s Muslim minority. Odinga promised Muslim leaders that he would establish Sharia courts throughout the country once elected. He also promised to impose Muslim dress codes for women, prohibit the sale of pork and alcohol, and ban Christian preaching.
There is still more, and it takes us to the very crux of the matter. In the late summer of 2006, Barack Obama visited Kenya and vocally supported Odinga and his presidential ambitions. There are pictures on the web showing the two together. During that visit, the Kibaki government likened Obama to an Obinga “stooge,” an unfortunate moniker for a presidential hopeful.
Why would Obama become involved in the internal politics of another country? What should Americans make of Obama’s political endorsements and stumping for Odinga in Kenya? Surely, these incidents raise serious questions about Barack Obama’s judgment and his understanding of international decision-making. Is this how Obama plans to work with other countries if he should win the presidency? These are questions that demands Barack Obama’s answer.

You get to the crux of the matter - that Obama spoke in support of this guy. I keep telling people that you need to look at the pattern he has of associating with radical and/or corrupt people - Ayers, Rezko, Wright, Pleger to name a few. I do not know if he did this just for political expediency or if he really believes in what they stand for , but either way it puts the lie to his claims of superior judgment! He also cozies up to free market economistst like Goolsbee and praises Reagan so it is impossible to know who this guy really is - if he even knows.
I have big problems with McCain on a lot of issues, but I also know that he will be enable to act on most of them (like his tax cuts for the rich) because there is no way he will have a veto-proof Republican majority to uphold his bills. He will be very limited in what he can do without help from Democrats. That could give him the cover he needs to move back to the center. I think he is our best bet to clean up the corruption and cronyism in the system, too. On the other hand………

They had no respect for their “old lady”. When a new female came into the group, the previous ones were tossed aside and many even had children by these freak daddies by then. It was a miserable existence for young women. These men were pros at sweet talking you, getting you excited about making a difference. But in the end, they were just creepy little thugs.

Why would Obama become involved in the internal politics of another country? What should Americans make of Obama’s political endorsements and stumping for Odinga in Kenya? You get to the crux of the matter - that Obama spoke in support of this guy. I keep telling people that you need to look at the pattern he has of associating with radical and/or corrupt people - Ayers, Rezko, Wright, Pleger to name a few. I do not know if he did this just for political expediency or if he really believes in what they stand for , but either way it puts the lie to his claims of superior judgment! He also cozies up to free market economistst like Goolsbee and praises Reagan so it is impossible to know who this guy really is - if he even knows.
I have big problems with McCain on a lot of issues, but I also know that he will be enable to act on most of them (like his tax cuts for the rich) because there is no way he will have a veto-proof Republican majority to uphold his bills. He will be very limited in what he can do without help from Democrats. That could give him the cover he needs to move back to the center. The women had to “score” their dope and were put on the frontline so the risk was theirs, not the male “leaders”. The women were often arrested while the men laid back and partied. They had no respect for their “old lady”. When a new female came into the group, the previous ones were tossed aside and many even had children by these freak daddies by then. It was a miserable existence for young women. These men were pros at sweet talking you, getting you excited about making a difference. But in the end, they were just creepy little thugs.

What we actually need is a two prong attack - the other line of attack being decoupling McCain and aggressively tying Obama to the Bailout mess through his votes, contributions from Freddie/Fannie, dem fighting off regulation and advisor Penny Pritzkers. The Pritzker bank failure is alot more relevant then Keating 5.
This morning, Joe Scarbough finally brought up about the dems fighting regulation of Freddie/Fannie by the repubs as a way for John McCain to fight back. He didn’t go far enough - re McCain cosponsoring regulation nor did he bring up Obama’s problem Pritzker, but its a start.
This guy was not vetted by the DNC. They had no idea what they go them self into. I think there is so much dirt on this guy that by the time they get done with him he will be lucky if he can stay out of jail not be POTUS.

Jerome Corsi detained in Kenya.
He had been planning to launch his book, entitled The Obama Nation Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality, before travelling to one of Nairobi’s slums to donate money to the Senator’s half-brother George, who was found living in squalid conditions two months ago.
Dr Corsi said he had a $1,000 cheque for George Obama, seen as part of a stunt to suggest that the Senator was not taking care of his Kenyan-based relative.
A source at Nyayo House, where Dr Corsi was being held, said the author had been detained for references made to Raila Odinga, the Kenyan prime minister, and allegations that his Muslim supporters had engaged in a wave of violence that rocked the country after December’s disputed elections.
The allegations are not taken seriously in Kenya, were Mr Odinga is widely seen to have been cheated out of a legitimate victory.
However, in his promotional literature, Dr Corsi promised to reveal sinister links between Kenyan politicians and Mr Obama.
