Sheriff Under Fire
By Pat Racimora on October 8, 2008 at 10:55 PM in 1st Amendment, ACLU, Barack Obama, Hatch Act, NAACP
Sheriff Mike Scott is in BIG trouble, despite capturing 91% of the vote in his home County last month. The NAACP and the ACLU want to burn his ass.
Liberal groups such as the Young Turks are simply mortified by What Sheriff Scott did: “On Oct 6, 2008 the American people were treated with a very scary and dangerous image of a public official standing on a stage and basically saying that discrimination and hatred is okay in a country that is trying to regain its soul and start healing itself from the failures of the last several years.”
So, what did Sheriff Mike Scott say? It must have a stunning, reprehensible diatribe, unprecedented in the campaign. It must be so appalling and dreadful that we should all rise up and take immediate action? Right?
Well, here is what he did. He used Barack Obama’s middle name—his REAL middle name—during a Palin rally in Florida.
There’s got to be more to it, right? He did it in a fit of racist rage, frothing at the mouth like a madman, right?
Well, no. When Sheriff Scott took the stage, he said that the world had three types of people, “the ones who make things happen, the ones who watch what happens and the ones who wonder what happened. Let’s leave Barack Hussein Obama wondering what happened.” That was it.
See for yourself Here (after enduring a very short commercial).
It’s probably not what I or you would have said, especially because we know that people are so damn touchy these days. But come on people! Pull back and look at the bigger picture here. Are we headed towards a society where you will be ripped apart by a slew of organizations for uttering a simple fact? Is our freedom to say even dumb things so fragile that we have to call out the dogs? And this little incident seems more than ironic in the face of the vicious, hate-filled slurs against Hillary Clinton and her supporters.
Meanwhile and unfortunately for Sheriff Scott, his troubles aren’t over. Aside from all of the grief he is getting for uttering “The One’s” full name, he was wearing his sheriff costume when he did it. So now the government is all over his backside for violating the Hatch Act.
This time it’s the Sheriff who might want to think about getting out of Dodge for a while.

The Young Turks — Cenk et al, have been sipping a little too much koolaid, methinks.
If Barack doesn’t like his middle name, he should legally get rid of it. By saying it is illegal or immoral to use it, we are again granting special rules and special dispensation for The One.
Who else qualifies for this kind of treatment?
Is the kind of administration we can look forward to from him? What’s next? Any criticism is declared illegal too? Aren’t they over-reacting here?
As I say — his name belongs to him. If he didn’t like it or thought it would give people the wrong idea, have it legally changed. It wouldn’t be the first time he changed his name. Everyone else in the country should not have to walk around with a magic decoder ring trying to figure out what is politically correct for him.
Sen Obama used to use his full name pretty regularly. What happened? I never hear his whole name and associate it with anything one way or the other. Personally, I could care less. That has nothing to do with why I would not vote for him.
Great cartoon and story, Pat. Thanks.
why, as is being called for in the case of the sheriff, wasn’t a federal investigation of the Missouri prosecutors and sheriffs who said they were forming a truth squad for Obama. wasn’t their conduct just as partisan. and an equal violation of federal laws that prohibit federal employees (or in this case those who work for entities that receive fed funding) anti-political statutes.
Agree !!!
Why the sensitivity over HUSSEIN? It’s just a name after all.
Barry should be proud of his name and quit being so sensitive. You are only as sensitive as you let someone else make you.
Barry HUSSEIN! Get over it!
wowwwww young turks don’t like hussein?!!!!!!!
What’s in a name?
Isn’t Ironic?
A collective guilt trip wrapped up in the shattered identity of a “blackman” who is never vetted because his middle name is of Muslim heritage.
Barak Hussein Obama-Soetoro ?
what’s in a name.
Good point, but let’s throw Mohammed in there just to be certain!
I make no inference about Islam, except to say Obama insults Islam every time he denies Allah was a part of his life.
Didn’t Rev. Wright repeatedly say “Barack HUSSEIN Obama” in one of his diatribes? It is the man’s middle name. If he’s ashamed of it, he should change it.
I agree. If Obama detests his middle name so much maybe he should have it legally changed.
If not, I hope it’s okay that we use people’s names because I’m not going to know what to call anyone any more. Enough bullshit from Barack Hussein Obama, already.
Barky has had many names and he’s changed them at will. If he doesn’t like his Hussein middle name, he should’ve gotten rid of it like he got rid of his other names all these years.
BTW, sorry if this is a bit off the subject but today I got a package in the mail from the DNC - a ‘package for change’ or some such drivel. There were two stickers in it and I altered them with a big ole magic marker and am sending back to them with their own postage:
No Third Term / Vote Democrat - I changed it to read ” Obama IS the 3rd Bush Term - another arrogant fool with no work ethic”
Ask me how many houses I own - I changed it to read “Ask Obama how Rezko bought his house for him”
Then I wrote a diatribe on the contribution form about Pelosi and Reid and the Dems supporting Bush with the bailout and told them to find their own f***ing money from that.
The nerve of these assholes.
Why did they not object when Rev. Wright said it??
Excellent!
I think it is not the middle name that causes the firestorm. I think it is the fact that he appeared in uniform. I think what he did was wrong. I am a campaign contributor and volunteer for McCain Palin. I have already voted for them. To me what he did crosses the same line that law enforcement in MO crossed when they talked as law enforcement officers, sworn officers of the court, about “truth squads” for Obama.
If we want to have a free, open, democratic society we must all be vigilant about the role of law enforcement or the military in the political landscape. I am sorry but I think that when you take an oath to uphold the law, to wear the blindfold of justice, then you need to follow that oath to its logical conclusion. And that means that you do not use your legal office as a platform for political partisanship.
There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with what the sheriff said.
They are pulling this crap just because a) they can, and b) because they’re building a case for the lawlessness, intimidation, and violence they have in mind for the entire nation, come Election Day.
Win or lose, they’ll use any excuse.
scottymac54
I agree.
Pat, thanks for this info.

Look what is happening in VA between state registrars and college students…

Silencing the Students
by Max Fisher
How 134 stubborn registrars in Virginia could swing the vote against Obama.
Post Date Thursday, October 09, 2008
Excerpt
“Such efforts have been called unethical, and they may not jibe with Supreme Court rulings on voting rights. A recent article in The New York Times exposing what Wertz had done in Blacksburg referenced a 1979 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that “students have the right to register at their college address.” But registration standards are set out at the state level, and while Virginia’s legislation doesn’t explicitly restrict student voting, its vague language allows registrars to turn away students. State law requires that all voters prove “domicile” where they wish to register, but it defines the term loosely.
Registrars may decide on their own whether dormitories can be considered “domicile,” or if a voter must pay local taxes to register, for example.
Student registration is, therefore, left almost entirely up to the whim of Virginia’s 134 registrars, who may interpret the clause about domicile however they choose, while staying technically within the bounds of state law.”
Just out of curiousity-
what is to stop these college students from voting twice? Once in school and then going back home to vote locally?
“Activists from the ACLU and the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University, along with Obama state officials, are working frantically to reform Virginia’s byzantine standards on a local level, stubborn registrar by stubborn registrar.
Pitchford, the Fredericksburg registrar, says she’s been contacted “many times” by the Obama campaign’s lawyers.
Kevin Griffis, a local campaign spokesman who says that the campaign has not encountered these kinds of barriers anywhere else in the country, has made statements to nearly every college-town newspaper in the state, defending dormitories as “a perfectly acceptable residence to register to vote” and decrying registration barriers as “completely ridiculous.”
>>>>Just out of curiousity-
what is to stop these college students from voting twice? Once in school and then going back home to vote locally?
We asked this question of various state public officials BEFORE a Dem primary vote had been cast.
Answer: Nothing.
And we KNOW how lax the standards were in caucus states….
Fox is all over the ACORN corruption - but not a word at cnn.com.
It’s OK. Ammo is cheap.
Nice artwork! We should DEMAND that Barack’s FULL NAEe be on the ballot in November in solidarity with Mike Scott!
What’s in a name? A zero by any other name is still a zero.
Nice artwork! We should DEMAND that Barack’s FULL NAME be on the ballot in November in solidarity with Mike Scott!
Of topic here but look who helped Obama write his book????? Ayers??????????
http://www.cashill.com/natl_general/obamas_poems.htm
Thanks for the link —
Ayers’ use of nautical words is very telling.
“A steady attack on the white race . . . served as the ballast that could prevent the ideas of personal and communal responsibility from tipping into an ocean of despair.”
As a writer, especially in the pre-Google era of Dreams, I would never have used an image as specific as “ballast” unless I knew exactly what I was talking about.
Ayers knew. Obama did not.
Wow. Maybe Axelrod wrote both of them?!
OBAMA’S POEMS ARE FAR WORSE THAN Adolph Hitlers artwork! which was really bad! similarities?

Who am I?
* I am running for President
* I rose in political power by using legal loopholes to stop other candidates running against me
* I am the leader of a party heading into a depression
* I am especially famed for my oratory skills
* I blame the previous administration for our economic woes to create support from those who are financially hurting
* I lead a party promoting socialism, to change the the existing government, to fix the countries economic woes, and to restore the greatness of my country on the world stage
* My country has had a very expensive, protracted war
I am Hitler!
Who am I?
* I am running for President, albeit badly
* I rose in political power by influence & familial connections & by cheating on my wife & marrying into wealth
* I am the leader of a party that CREATED an impending depression
* I am especially poor at any oratory skills
* I blame my opponent for our economic woes, & seek to create support from those who are financially well-off
* I lead a party promoting capitalism, but at the last Presidential debate I proposed to buy out failing homeowner mortgages & proudly took credit for an unworkable idea
* I have no substantive plans to fix the country’s economic woes, and no idea how to restore the greatness of my country on the world stage
* My country is in the midst of a very expensive, protracted war that I wholeheartedly supported, & mistakenly underestimated in terms of costs in blood & treasure
I am John Sidney McCain, my fellow prisoners!
We are watching the United States of America unravel before our eyes. Is this what I spent 6 years in the service for? So these punk ass bastards who don’t give a rat’s ass about Pride in their country could do this? I say get the National Guard ready to take action.
The National Guard are all in Iraq, fighting an illegal war.
Perry - You are irritating…..
Here is an interesting read…
http://www.armytimes.com/news/2008/09/army_homeland_090708w/
Perry, it’s not an illegal war. It meets all the criteria for a legal war.
Now, whether we should be there or not is the question. I call it “the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time”.
But please do remember that back in ‘92, one of the issues Clinton/Gore used to push their platform, was disgust with Bush 41 for not taking the threat of Saddam Hussein more seriously.
This is a vicious circle.
Pretty crazy story, huh?
hussien,hussien,hussien
It is his damn name, get over it.
Liberal Fascism is in full effect this election and it is disgusting.
Rev. Wright screeched Hussien on several occasions, especially while on his “media tour”.
Wright was on one of the YouTube video linked here in the last few days screeching Hussien Hussien Hussien.
It’s just like the n word. White people don’t use it, Black people do. Hussein? It is a common Arabic name, and I think he wants us to know it is him, it gives him legitimacy in the Muslim World. Remember, Barack lived his life as Barry Soetoro for quite some time, and if he had really been concerned about the Arabic name he was supposedly born with, he would have changed his name to his Mother’s maiden name (I believe that was his given name, anyway), instead HE changed his name to Barack Hussein Obama. Obama is at base a con artist, and he has delusions of grandeur on a scale that eclipses Hitler. I believe, like Hitler, he is planning to rule the world, or destroy it. This man must be stopped, but with all the illegal activity, and the questionable inability of the government to step in with their authority to halt this. The whole election is a sham at this point. He has already gamed the system, and Bush needs to assert himself as firmly against what is going on, as he asserted himself on Iraq. If not, then we know for certain that the same people who supported Bush are the ones who now support Obama, and this is how they wanted it to go down. They never intended to allow John McCain to win, thus, the lukewarm support from a faction of the “Conservative” side of the GOP. conservative? Wealthy is more like it. Consevatives wouldn’t not support McCain because he is too Liberal, but support Obama instead. Obama is the most Liberal Senator in the Senate. The fix was in probably a few years ago. Americans! I love my countrymen, but we are very naive. Oh well, our age of innocence will soon pass when The One goes into office in 09. Hope we can watch from a safe distance, but I doubt it will be safe anywhere.
So what happens if Obama becomes President, we will never be able to say like we do now G.W.Bush, are we going to get arrested or shot?
The more I see stuff like this going on I hope people are aware of how scary life can become if Obama does win this election, seems a lot of freedoms that we took for granted is going to lost and lost quickly.
I think they’ll just Taser you and leave you near lifeless as a warning ….
ROTFL - good one, Beebop (as usual!)!
You know, I am a card-carrying member of the ACLU, and their support in this ridiculous case is mind-boggling. Kinda making me rethink my regular contributions…
This is getting so out of control. They have now accomplished muzzling people from speaking the truth, even if it is only his name. Don’t worry, this will all come around. Via Hillbuzz via redstate.
VIA REDSTATE
Don’t underestimate the McCain campaign.
What type of movie do Americans really like? Not the popcorn flicks, but the ones that leave you saying “holy sh–” at the end when the credits roll. The Usual Suspects comes to mind.
Here’s a movie where you have multiple story lines coming together toward the end, all connected to a central character, and when it finally dawns on you what just happened, wow — it is one heck of a movie. Separate plot elements dramatically merge into one coherent narrative and you realize had you been paying attention all along you would have seen it.
It really works. Those stories have powerful staying power.
For more than two months the Republicans have pushed the ACORN story — a corrupt, radical organization that operates through voter fraud to disrupt American democracy, destabilize our financial system, agitate against business, etc. Just this week the FBI State Attorney General raided ACORN in Nevada and discovered how prevalent their voter fraud operation is. The FBI is expected to get involved.
Separately, the GOP started painting a picture of Obama’s campaign donations. He’s been extremely secretive. In a bit of marxist doublespeak, the Obama campaign is saying it is the most transparent campaign ever, but won’t provide a list of its donors, destroyed Obama’s Illinois legislative files, won’t provide his health records, etc. The more we learn about his small donors, the more questions we have about foreigners trying to sway the American democratic system.
And then there is the McCain campaign. It has gone zealously after Bill Ayers’s connection to Obama. Ayers hired Obama to run the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, after launching Obama’s political career in his living room.
Bill Ayers, in applying for the Annenberg Challenge grant, said the purpose of the money would be to radicalize students to agitate for change. Who did he put in charge of the program? Barack Obama.
Who did Obama give the money to?
ACORN.
And the separate plots begin to connect. The ACORN narrative, the Ayers narrative, the foreign donor narrative — they intersect, combine, tangle, and paint a very ugly picture of Barack Obama
What Obama did on the board with the Annenberg money and what he’d do with your money come in to the narrative.
But I’m told there will be a surprise twist in this plot that will make it even neater to watch unfold.
The next month is going to be tumultuous and fun.
The October Surprise is that there is no “surprise.” It’s been in front of us all along. Only now the various story lines are getting connected.
Wow — thanks for this copying this article.
Several story lines coming together — slowly preparing the voter for the ending — or perhaps to do the right thing and vote against Obama?
I read that the Rezko prosecutor is involved with an investigation of ACORN. RICO charges may be coming down the pike. Is somebody singing?
When simple facts are no longer a defense against accusations of slander, our Constitution is on the way to becoming defunct.
Is Hussein the new N word? Or is the new N word terrorist? Or is it both? Two more words out of our free speech?
The Sarah Palin rally in Jax had Senator Mel Martinez, and Gov Charlie Crist there. Were they violating the Hatch act too? What about Nancy Polosi campaigning for Obama? The DNC most certainly vioated the Hatch Act with the “arm twisting” they did to Super Delegates.
This is beginning to sound like MO all over again. Same song different verse….
And it’s the song that never ends….
it goes on and on my friends.
some people started singing it,
not knowing what it was,
They’ll just keep on singing it
forever just because….
funny! I just posted above a similar thought. I am frankly tired of people telling me that because I am white, I can only use the language deemed pc by persons of color, or nonChristian. I am not anybody’s slave or puppet, and if I want to call Obama by his middle name, I’ll say it, and I will continue to call him Muslim, as well.
I was on a liberal site that called people out for using his initials BO, saying it was racist because it referred to body odor. So people used BHO and they said that was racist because it referred to his middle name.
At the last debate, McCain’s saying “that one” in response to the understood question of “which one” was deemed racist as was his use of the term “dark days.”
It’s all somewhat laughable, but troubling because these constant findings of racism in speech will become more draconian under President Obama. Those who disagree with his administration will have to bob and weave their way through the linguistic landmines of imaginations like Bob Herbert’s before they can even get to the issues - which disagreeing on those with Obama will also, definitely, be racist.
We gotta get a few cheerleaders to the next obama rally. gimme a H, gimme a U…….;-)
Maybe we need to mow it into our grass where the airplane passengers can see it. Hope that Obama on his stinky smelly plane will fly right over it.
Wonder how long before he buys a new plane, after that reporter said McCain’s plane was cleaner and bigger? lol
This is insane. If BO gets elected, Obamanation, formerly known as the United States of America, is going to be worse than the USSR was behind the iron curtain. It’s already starting with this middle name ridiculousness.
OBAMA’S MIDDLE NAME IS HUSSEIN!! HUSSEIN!!! NOW COME ARREST ME..
As long as this place is still the USA, I will say Obama’s middle name whenever, wherever, and however I want to, because it’s not ILLEGAL to do so.
Obama is a dictator waiting to happen.
He’s a carbon copy of bush, only MORE dangerous. DEMOCRATS!!!! LISTEN TO ME!!!! I AM ONE OF YOU!!!!
If you have whined and cried about 8 years of bush. If you have hated everything bush has done just like I have, if you, like me, can’t wait until bush is out of office and can do no more harm, if you, like me, would STILL like to see bush impeached, how, HOW IN THE NAME OF GOD, can you possibly support barrack HUSSEIN obama as POTUS?? They are cut from the same coth, he is a carbon copy of bush with more power and influence and without the small, very small, amount of hubris that bush has. His cockiness will soar above bush’s, the dangers he will put this country in will be devestating, we will be in another “Great depression’,moreso than many realize.
BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA is the biggest threat to our society and to the world now that bush is a ame duck. bush WAS the biggest terrorist in the world and the biggest recruiter for terrorism that ever existed. BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA will make bush look like JFK or FDR or Abraham Lincoln.
I refuse to vote for a trator to teh US, a non citizen, the most crooked politican in decades for the highest office in our land.
I know you are being serious but I laughed at the sadness of your point. Are we living in an alternate universe now?
Sorry. Barack HUSSEIN Obama is much, much worse than Bush.
ooooh…very VERY scary!

So if wins the presidency, how will you address him??

My freedom of speech is right for me to tell things that you do not want to hear that are true……
You will not take that away from me, because of Obama!!!

Bush wanted to wiretap terrorists and if Obama wins it will be Bambi’s Brownshirts wiretapping citizens.
Does this mean we need to start referring to Muhammed Ali as Cassius Clay again?
I have never stopped referring to Cassius Clay as Cassius Clay.
I also say, Lou Alcindor, as well.
You must be Joe Frazier
The media has consistently OMITTED Obama’s middle name.
Will the history books also?
{{scary!}}
hopefully. Just a footnote, “Barack Hussein Obama ran for the American presidency in 2008. He lost in the worst landslide in presidential history.”

HillaryJohn.if your opponent cries when you hit him, you hit him again and harder.
The obamunists are nervous about what is coming out and what can come out.
Hussein is his name. Did you notice during the dnc they said over and over “ya know this guy with a funny name”
They constantly tried to make it funny.
When you look at his radical history there is nothing funny about the name. That is what has them scared. Americans will not stand for fascism.
Guns up.
Defend freedom.
Defeat Obama.
benny - the cheerleader idea is a good one. now if we could only find someone very wealthy that would sponsor the “Husseinettes”, they could follow Barky from event to event with their sparkling outfits and their special anti-Barky cheers.
No - they should wear burka. That’s acceptable when Farakhan’s speaking at Fleger’s church.
Make them pregnant, white cheerleaders.
Get it all out there.
Are these KKK or White Supremacist posts or am I becoming paranoid? NO, there’s nothing wrong with Obama’s middle name unless some bigot is using it to conjure up fright and hatred. Then’s there’s plenty wrong with abusing it in that matter. I want all of you haters to look carefully at the composition of our VOLUNTARY military today. Look at how many brave black men and women serve. While you’re at it, check out the graveyards in America and go to the records to see how many Democrat as well as Republican vets lie there having died in the wars defending this country. Your kind of ugly and ignorant hatred is pulling this country apart at the seams just when it’s most critical that we learn to pull together or we may not survive as a nation. We don’t look at each other politically when we have to fight together!
You already are paranoid. So saying a person’s middle name makes them a White Supremacist??!! Okey-dokey. This is a taste of the alternate universe that O-Idiot and his Obots reside in.
Paranoid I guess. And please direct accusations of racism to individuals here if you feel they’ve made a racist comment, not to everyone as a group. Most people opposing Obama oppose him on lack of judgment, lack of experience and lack of character, not skin color.
False accusations of racism makes one a racist which is why I consider Obama a racist. Lumping us all together is inappropriate. My 2 cents.
His name is
period, there is no but.
Otherwise it is Silly. Drop the but trying to tell us what we meant or what he meant to say.
This time Enough of Obama’s silliness is Enough.
Let us drop it.
We have far more important problem facing families in this country and we are wasting to paying attention to the obama’s silly groups of tugs.
Much ado about a middle name
Amir Taheri is an Iranian author based in Europe.
Is pronouncing a man’s middle name tantamount to insulting him? In the case of Senator Barack Obama, the favourite to win the Democratic Party’s nomination for the presidency of the United States, the answer appears to be yes.
Senator Hillary Clinton, Obama’s last remaining rival within the party, has already apologised because her aides used “the unmentionable middle name”, ostensibly without her consent.
Last week, it was the turn of Senator John McCain, the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee and Obama’s possible rival in the final contest, to apologise because the host of a meeting he attended was rash enough to pronounce the seven-letter word.
The word in question is Hussain, Obama’s middle name that was also the name of his Kenyan Muslim father.
What is astonishing is that Senator Obama has accepted the apologies as if the use of his father’s name was, indeed, an insult.
What is the rationale behind this strange behaviour?
It is simple. Hussain is an Arabic word supposed to have a negative resonance with many Americans, reminding them of Saddam Hussain, the late Iraqi dictator who has entered American folklore as arch-villain. The fact that, in Arabic, Hussain means “most benign” or “very beautiful” is not enough to persuade Obama and his PR gurus to treat it more kindly.
However, Obama’s problem does not end with censoring his middle name. His first name, Barack, is also Arabic, from the stem barakah meaning “blessing”. His surname Obama, from Swahili*, the Arabic-based lingua franca of East Africa, refers to members of the Luo tribe who converted to Islam.
In other words, Barack Hussain Obama Jr’s name is a perfectly ordinary identification for someone with an ethnic East African Muslim background.
What is troubling about Obama’s approach to the mini-storm stirred by his political enemies over his name, is what may look like an attempt at obfuscation. He has behaved as if he did have a family secret, and as if the name Hussain was something to be ashamed of.
Obama’s efforts to distance himself from Islam, is in contrast with his innovative approach to US relations with its Islamist challengers.
President George W. Bush has chosen the “iron fist” option by invading Afghanistan and Iraq, building quarantine around Iran, keeping the Baathist regime in Syria in check, and helping a dozen Muslim states fight Al Qaida or its variants on their soil. Both Senators McCain and Clinton offer variations on the same theme, albeit with caveats designed to satisfy their respective constituencies.
By contrast, Obama is offering a policy of dialogue and accommodation. He has opposed the listing of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organisation, and proposed a grand bargain with the regime in Damascus. Obama is even prepared to ignore two United Nations’ Security Council resolutions that require Iran to stop its uranium enrichment programme as a precondition for talks at the highest level.
Key demands
In an important symbolic move designed to signal an end of the special relationship between Israel and the United States,, Obama has become the first major American presidential candidate in more than 30 years not to commit himself to transferring the US embassy to the Jewish state from Tel Aviv to Occupied Jerusalem.
Last but not least, Obama has promised to withdraw from Iraq within the first year of his presidency, thus meeting one of the key demands of radical Muslim forces, whether Sunni or Shiite.
The message is clear: Obama wants a new relationship with radical forces in the Islamic world while distancing the US from its traditional allies in the region. In other words, he proposes to reverse policies that have taken shape over more than six decades under 12 successive American presidents. It is this revolutionary idea that deserves to be closely examined, studied and debated, not the origin and meaning of Obama’s middle name.

Arab traders began to settle among the Africans of the coast, resulting in the emergence of a people and culture known as Swahili. There started the East Coast slave trade.
Arabs and Persians moved to the East African coast. It is an undeniable truth that Arab and Persian cultures had the greatest influence on the Swahili culture and the Swahili language.
Great article!!! Nice to see someone in Europe sees right through the facade that is Obama, and the seeds of what Obamanation will be like.
On top of that Saddam is DEAD … so let’s move on. I don’t think anyone in America confuses 0bama with a dead guy, do you?
Tzada,
Very interesting article indeed. Thanks for scouting it out for us.
There are many black men and women who serve in the military… and they do so honorably and with our gratitude… but there is one difference… they love their country. I still have doubts about B.H.O. and his darling wife.
As a percentage of the population, those with Hispanic background serve in the largest percentage … just for your edification. But so what? Whatever happened to “post racial?” Is he not to be the president of all the people?
George Wills?, you dumbazz!
If these were KKK or white supremacist postings Obama’s name would not be used at all.
He would probably be referred to as “that N’”.
Get real, if he is ashamed or afraid of his name, he should have long ago changed it. Perhaps he did, more than once, and that is the real problem.
I have three given names, I am often called by all three, and I am ashamed of none. In fact I like them all being used, they are quite alliterative along with my surname.
No. It’s Obama’s name. He should either legally change it or live with it. It’s disingenuous for him to keep the name and tell everyone else they can’t use it. Who died and left this guy God?

It’s that danged Silent Majority (you know the ones who don’t bother with bumper stickers and yard signs) peeking from behind the curtains again! We come and we go…from where nobody knows.
But on 11/4, we will be at the voting booths all over the USA.
John McCain and Sarah Palin will be elected in a landslide victory and the New Democrats will be left scratching their heads wondering how they missed us and could it have had anything to do with Hillary Clinton…
