Relentlessly Pursued by ACORN, One Guy Registered to Vote 72 Times

Updates by SusanUnPC via Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey and a Fox News video:

Congressional Republicans have finally demanded an end to federal funding for ACORN after more than a dozen states have opened investigations into fraud in their voter-registration efforts. House Minority Leader John Boehner has not only called to end that funding for ACORN but also for all federal candidates to stop contracting with ACORN while investigations continue into their business practices. … (Read all.)

…………………………………………

Ok I’m bordering on laughter now.

Somebody needs to shut down this scammed election process immediately and hold everything until ACORN and Barack Obama are investigated for conspiring to fix an election. This is a matter of National Security.

Hey, what do you expect from Obama. Not only does he have no respect for Democracy, he fixed the primaries, so he just thinks he can Chicago-Thug his way to a rigged Presidency too.

We already know he trained “Project Vote” people where it all got started in Chicago. There is no sense of denying it. It’s on his own damned resume. We already know he gave ACORN money and made a “mistake” on his FEC filings. What does our government need, a telephone poll on its head to know this election process has been corrupted beyond salvation?

This is getting so transparent it’s downright felonious–if not treasonous. Somebody belongs in the slammer holding a very wet bar of soap this very moment.

I will be updating this post as soon as I find a link to FOX’s story of ACORN hiring 59 convicted felons to help with their voter drive.

Meanwhile, Here’s a story of habitual voter registration fraud:

CLEVELAND - Two Ohio voters, including Domino’s pizza worker Christopher Barkley , claimed yesterday that they were hounded by the community-activist group ACORN to register to vote several times, even though they made it clear they’d already signed up.

Barkley estimated he’d registered to vote “10 to 15″ times after canvassers for ACORN, whose political wing has endorsed Barack Obama, relentlessly pursued him and others.

Claims such as his have sparked election officials to probe ACORN.

“I kept getting approached by folks who asked me to register,” Barkley said. “They’d ask me if I was registered. I’d say yes, and they’d ask me to do it [register] again.

”Some of them were getting paid to collect names. That was their sob story, and I bought it,” he said.

Barkley is one of at least three people who have been subpoenaed by the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections as part of a wider inquiry into possible voter fraud by ACORN. The group seeks to register low-income voters, who skew overwhelmingly Democratic.

“You can tell them you’re-registered as many times as you want — they do not care,” said Lateala Goins, 21, who was subpoenaed.

“They will follow you to the buses, they will follow you home, it does not matter,” she told The Post.

She added that she never put down an address on any of the registration forms, just her name.

A third subpoenaed voter, Freddie Johnson, 19, filled out registration cards 72 times over 18 months, officials said.

“It feeds the public perception that there could be [fraud], and that makes the pillars fall down,” said local Board of Elections President Jeff Hastings.

Registering under a fake name is illegal. But officials usually catch multiple registrations and toss them.

The major risk of fraud growing out of mass canvassing involves the possibility of ineligible voters filing absentee ballots, and thus avoiding checks at polling places, said Republican National Committee chief counsel Sean Cairncross.

The subpoenas come as Republicans have ramped up criticism of ACORN. Officials in Nevada raided ACORN’s Las Vegas office Tuesday, accusing the group of signing people up multiple times - in some cases under phony names, like those of Dallas Cowboys.

ACORN’s Cleveland spokesman, Kris Harsh, said his group collected 100,000 voter-registration cards; only about 50 were questionable, he claimed.

As for workers, “We watch them like a hawk,” he said.

Unless the American people pull their heads outta their asses it will be offical. We will no longer have a Democracy. We will hold show votes so the thugs that manage to strong arm their way into power can say WE WERE ELECTED! Just like the old soviet elections.

Campaign Exposes Shady Side of ACORN

It would be one thing if ACORN was operating on its own, advancing its ideology and views. But the facts reveal that ACORN is not just another group advocating its views, but rather a mere cog in the Obama machine.

FEC reports show that the Obama campaign has paid a subsidiary of ACORN nearly $1 million so far for “outreach services.” Obama has represented ACORN in litigation in Michigan to break down protections against voter fraud.

Comment by Kal | 2008-10-09 19:07:06

And don’t forget, an awful lot of that campaign funding seems to have been coming from some similarly strange places, and from more fake people — or, even, from cats and dogs??

Do you suppose these state investigations into ACORN are Bush’s underground legacy?

This what made me so angry in Ohio about the register to vote and do it the same day. This was a crock that never should have been allowed to happen. As a responsible adult I made sure I registered so I could vote. I felt it was my duty.

All registrations delivered by ACORN should be disavowed and scrubbed from the record.

My right to vote is being manipulated by cheaters. Plain and simple.

Comment by tzada | 2008-10-09 18:02:30

Agreed. I got a call from the McCain/Palin campaign this week. The man I talked to told me that they had attorneys working around the clock on it. The web page for volunteers asks if you are an attorney. They are hitting this fraud thing hard. Everyone of us has got to do our part. Even if it is making calls or sending out emails. Copy these links and send them out. Go to another site and post them.

NoBama is a fraud and it’s not hard to figure out that he can’t win on his own so he’ll come up with a PLAN B…..ACORN! I have to say I’m a diehard Democrat (until this year) but I find it INSANE that ANYONE could come in here and defend NoBama or ACORN and think that’s it’s OK because you have an issue with the Republicans! If the Democrats are that damn dumb to lose elections on their own (and believe me they are - hence the last 8 years with Bush) I don’t see how it’s OK (all the sudden) for NoBama to feel it’s his duty to find a way to cheat his way into the WH! He’ll lose because he’s a FRAUD and a NATIONAL SECURITY threat to this Country in his own right!!!

Apparently it says that on Nobama’s fight the smears page on his web site and people believe it.

Which people? Obama’s kool-aid drinking diehards?

That group will follow Obama into hell, so obviously they’re not going to believe the truth about Obama. Fortunately, that group among Obama’s supporters is small.

It’s the majority of lukewarm Obama supporters (Independents, moderates, etc.) that aren’t going to bother going to his website. They’re the ones that we have to get the truth to before it’s too late.

We must let them know that if Obama gets into the White House that the economy will be the LEAST of their worries. And to let them know that Obama is NOT A CLINTON - he has NO experience in dealing firsthand with a broken economy. Obama will make the economy even worse.

Honestly - do most Americans really want to place the White House and the serious problems America is facing (the war, the economy, the energy crisis) into the hands of a Democrat candidate with even less experience than Bush?

Does the above give anyone nightmares?

Comment by Firefly | 2008-10-09 19:57:32

I’ve noticed that Fox has been challenging the 0bama propaganda pretty well lately too - but yes, this guy definitely slipped past them.

One reason might be that the host was some guy I’ve never seen before - maybe he was a sub or something. He had kinda dark blond or light brown hair - don’t remember much else about him. At the end of the segment the host was arguing, trying to get a word in edgewise with the totally arrogant and obnoxious DNC guy - and the host did totally diss the a-hole in the end, but I think the ACORN lie came up much earlier, before the host got his bearings.

McCain needs to hit Obama hard in the next few days. He cannot wait any longer or he will lose this election.

Lets just list some of Obama’s problems for a moment here:

1. Berg lawsuit stating Obama was not even born in America
2. Corsi, the author, just getting back from Kenya stating he now has definitive proof Obama gave Odinga (his cousin) advice about how to win his election by crying ‘foul’ if he lost and ‘voter fraud’ and if that didn’t work then to incite riots. By the way, his cousin orchestrated a genocide on his own people.
3. Obama’s spiritual leader for 20 years preached “white hate” in most of his sermons and yet he claims he never heard it after attending for so long.
4. Trinity Church’s gay choir director was murdered in December 2007 just when he was contacting Larry Sinclair about his activity with Obama.
5. Larry Sinclair who claims that in 1999, when Obama was a state senator and married, engaged in oral sex and drug use in the back of his limousine in IL
6. The “whitey” tape.
7. The Rezko real estate deals
8. His close association, over many years, with Bill Ayers which he is continually trying to deny
9. The fact he filled in his law license form stating he had no other previous names when we all know he had at least three other names.
10. ACORN connections and the fact his campaign just paid a subsidiary of ACORN $800,000 to work for Obama’s campaign
11. The fact he will not allow anyone to view his college records, which we all suspect had him applying as either a citizen of “Kenya” or “Indonesia” and that is why he doesn’t want us to see them.
12. The fact his own paternal grandmother and aunts/uncles state they witnessed his birth in Kenya.
13. How did he afford to go on a world travelling trip to Pakistan during college when he states in his book over and over again that he had no money. What did he do there for 3 weeks?
14. Why havent’ we seen anyone from his past come forward to vouch for him? No friends, no family! Heck, he has even stifled his own white grandmother from speaking to the press. Don’t you find it odd that she raised him, as he states in his book, and yet she is never present with him anywhere or at any convention? Very odd!
15. Refusing to wear a flag pin or put his hand over his heart during the pledge of allegiance, until he was pressured to. Something just is not right about that. Where are his allegiances, if not with America?

As you can see, the ammunition against Obama is plentiful. McCain can pick and choose but he must get this information out. If he won’t , then the RNC should! Wake up or you will lose the election!

And don’t forget — Biden’s son the Delaware AG was set up to get Larry S. arrested right as he finished his Press Club denouncement of BO re sex, drugs. The arrest allegedly related to bad checks Larry S. had in Delaware, but the case was so flimsy that Biden’s son just so happened to get the charges dropped the same day or the morning after Joe Biden’s nomination as VP with BO was confirmed by the Dem convention.

CBS New with Katie Couric never mentioned the impassioned discussion about ACORN at the McCain-Palin rally, and quoted a NY Times article as saying Ayers and Obama “weren’t really close”. They called Ayers’ fundraiser at his home in the 1990’s a “political coffee”. Talk about minimizing news and facts for Obama’s sake, or media bias…

Of course, Katie has Jeff Greenberg commenting, so what else can we expect but in the tank for Barry.

Comment by John Smith | 2008-10-09 17:52:19

The story on election day will be that there was a very low turnout for the democratic ticket. The fact that all the effort that Obama camp has put into voter turn out and only 28K voters voted in Ohio in a 5 day period speaks volumes about the support the democratic ticket has in Ohio. The polls can say what ever they want but if people don’t turn out it really makes no difference.

Comment by Deep Truths | 2008-10-09 17:53:39

Its about darn time, you betcha!

Twelve states! Sounds SERIOUS to me.

No money coming. How can the Dems put up a fight for ACORN? Especially since they have violated voter registration laws year after year? Then to add fuel to the fire, Dems try to sneak into the Bailout Package BILLIONS for ACORN which was the main reason Republicans did not vote for the bill the first go round.

Could/should a Congressional hearing be far behind? I say yes. And Barney Frank should call one for face saving reasons alone.

Comment by macaddict | 2008-10-09 18:00:14

OT a bit. In looking through the Google 2001 archive for Obama and ACORN, I came across this page: (NP = New Party = Socialist Party)

New Party Online News - Elections Update

Illinois: The first NP member heads to Congress, as Danny Davis wins an overwhelming 85% victory yesterday (he got a higher percentage of the vote in that district than the President). NP member and State Senate candidate Barack Obama won uncontested. Interestingly, it appears that the local Democratic machine is trying to distance itself from our folks. At a “Democratic Unity” march on Chicago’s West Side, a flyer invited community members to join with a host of local democratic candidates. The only two west-side Democrats not listed: NP members Danny Davis (U.S. House candidate) and Michael Chandler (Alderman and Ward Committeeman).

Patience.

As soon as Susan gets back to the computer his punk ass will be banned.

People who think Obama is going to get away with bamboozling the electorate are pulling their money out of the market. This is Obama’s fault.
Look what his google stronghold wants to do with taxpayer money. This sounds like the MO of BHO. his finger printsa re all over this. The money would vanish if ver gotten. Not over site is on this. And what’s a Tech Company who’s bought off by BHO doing with wanting government money for experemental energy technology.

Google — the multi-billion dollar Internet giant — wants Congress to spend more than $4 trillion in U.S. taxpayer money on experimental alternative fuels.

You read that right.

Google apparently believes it is now America’s leading expert on energy!

Why is Google calling on the United States government to spend $4.4 trillion (that’s trillion with a “T”, six times as much as is being spent on the bailout) of our hard-earned tax dollars to subsidize renewable energy during these hard economic times?

If they have their way, much of that $4.4 trillion will go directly to subsidize their bottom line. This, with no guarantee that Google’s plan will help solve America’s energy crisis.

The goal of the Obama camp is to make voters think he will win in a landslide to keep McCain voters at home. Most states have some safeguards against voter fraud, such as requiring ID in Indiana (we used to have it in Ohio as well, Part of the fraud is being paid to register people who will never vote. Where does ACORN’s funding come from? If it’s taxpayer money, these people need to spend a good long time in jail.

Comment by Ana | 2008-10-09 18:19:03

I think that might backfire. I know I am working to get people to vote for McCain.

another great post UW,

they watch them like a hawk MY ASS…watch them to make sure they are meeting a quota is about it.

they damn well better be doing something before Nov. 4th like throw out every single absentee ballot and tell people they will have to send in new ones. NONE ACCEPTED FROM ACORN. This is absolute and total bullshit.

It was my pleasure to turn one or should I say 5 voters in to the elections office. Sometime back she had told me that she had 5 voter registration cards. Karma is a bitch and so am I. She won’t be using any of them now.

When will the MSM tie this ACORN business into the caucus fraud in the primaries! HELLO!

Comment by hadenough | 2008-10-09 18:23:31

Never. The “liberal media” just gave us two terms of The Worst President In The History Of The World with bush and now they are trying to out do themselves by getting obama elected.

Comment by Ana | 2008-10-09 18:25:17

I agree that is what they are trying to do, it is up to us, to make sure that doesn’t happen. Make calls for mccain, get people to vote on election day for McCain, he is our only chance now.

I’m leaving the country if Obama wins. I will not be party to this. I’m scared. My dad has become an Obot and he is even defending Obama buying thirty minutes of television time to broadcast his propaganda. He says it is response to the smears by McCain. He doesn’t think Ayers is a bad guy. “He’s just a professor.” I’m freaking out.

Comment by Ana | 2008-10-09 18:20:19

Well lets hope enough people see the truth about Obama, the last thing we need is Obama as president.

Don’t lose hope, just work hard for McCain.

My teacher at school slipped up today when talking about political parties. She began saying “If we win…If Obama wins…” I was about to explode, but didn’t. Then a kid viciously attacked me for saying that Obama scared me. It is freaking crazy!!!

He doesn’t think Ayers is a bad guy. “He’s just a professor.” I’m freaking out.

Why don’t you print out some articles for him to read about Ayers and what he’s done. They’re all over the place. If he thinks bin Laden is a bad guy, he should think Ayers is too. They’re both terrorists.

Comment by ScottVA | 2008-10-09 19:27:04

I would think your father would be old enough to remember what Ayers did…. Does your father know he blew up stuff and killed / almost killed people? That’s not just “a professor” LOL If you’re father is that far gone for NoBama that he would defend him on the Ayers issue then I’m afraid he’s WAY FAR GONE! You should ask him what kind of father would let their kids be educated by that guy? LOL I question any parent who finds it OK that he educates their children….I’d not pay for any class for my kid to take being taught by him!

Comment by JozefAL | 2008-10-09 19:48:32

What I’d like to ask the Obamedia is this: Why, if Obama’s claims to some type of vast personal foreign policy experience (due to his years growing up overseas), did Obama pick a man (who’s been in the Senate nearly as long as Obama has been alive) who is widely regarded as a major foreign policy wonk? Seriously, Biden’s selection was praised by the media for bringing “experience” to the ticket, yet the same media had already bought into the “Obama has enough experience” canard.
