why it does matter.

Obama camp on Rezko: “Nothing to see here. Just move along.”

Obama camp on ACORN: “Nothing to see here. Move along.”

Obama camp on Ayers: “People don’t care about these issues. They are worried about the economy. Move along.”

Obama camp on Wright: “Nothing to see here people, keep it moving.”

Obama camp on Jim Johnson and Fannie Mae/Freddy Mac: “Move along. Nothing here to see.”

But what the Obama camp doesn’t want you to believe, and his supporters don’t understand, is that these associations DO matter, and DO relate to what is happening with the economy, and who is best to handle it.

Obama is friends with Tony Rezko, and even purchased his home with him. Obama has lied about how much Rezko contributed to his campaign, and he has lied about what he knew, and when he knew it. Rezko is a slumlord. He owned the slums where people froze to death in the winter because they didn’t have heat, and almost 800 that died in the heat wave of 1995. The very districts that Obama was responsible for in IL are the worst in the country. Obama and Tony were responsible for those districts, and they are in shambles. Rezko was found guilty of mail fraud, wire fraud, soliciting bribes, and money laundering in connection to a federal investigation into political corruption in the state of Illinois.

What are Obama’s plans for the rest of the country? You have to question his ability and his intentions, when he has failed in his own state.

“This isn’t the Tony Rezko I knew…” Obama.

Obama worked for and is associated with ACORN, and has donated funds to them. And there is MASSIVE voter registration fraud going on, right now, today. Stories are breaking minute by minute. There is an active action, happening right now, to get Obama into the White House, by any means possible.

If Obama happens to win, and had done so honestly (I don’t believe he even won the primary honestly), then that would be the will of the majority of the people, and that is the way it should be. The President should be elected by the will of the people. I may not like the outcome, but if it is fair, it is fair. I would be unhappy, but I would respect the decision. I will not, and NO ONE should stand for a President who is elected by a bunch of dead voters, repeat voters, bussed in drunks and other fraudulent means.

You have to ask yourself: What, then, would they be able to pull off with a friend in the White House?

Obama, try as he might to deny it, is closely associated with Ayers. Yes, Ayers bombed the Pentagon 40 years ago, but Obama has been in contact with him, as late as 2005. And this should matter. Ayers has never apologized, and feels no remorse.

Between 1995 and 1999, Obama distributed the $50 million and raised another $60 million from other civic groups to augment it. In doing so, he was following Ayers’ admonition to grant the funds to “external” organizations, like American Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), to pair with schools and conduct programs to radicalize the students and politicize them.

That Obama should ally himself with Ayers is almost beyond understanding. The former terrorist had not repented his views, and the education grants he got were expressly designed to further them.

So let’s sum up Obama’s Chicago connections. His chief financial supporter was Tony Rezko, now on his way to federal prison. His spiritual advisor and mentor was the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, of “God damn America” fame. And the guy who got him his only administrative job and put him in charge of doling out $50 million is Ayers, a terrorist who was a domestic Osama bin Laden in his youth.

Even apart from the details of the Obama-Ayers connection, two key points emerge:

– Obama lied and misled the American people in his description of his relationship with Ayers as casual and arm’s length; and

– Obama was consciously guided by Ayers’ radical philosophy, rooted in the teachings of leftist Saul Alinksy, in his distribution of ACA grant funds.”

You have to ask yourself why Obama would align himself with Ayers and Dohrn, and how this affects his thinking, and how it would affect the way he would lead as POTUS.

Obama sat in the church of Reverend Wright for 20 years, listening to his sermons (no need to rehash the content of them) and never spoke out, never left the church, never complained. He praised Wright, titled his book after his sermon, and appointed him to his campaign. THEN he lied about what he knew, and when he knew it.

You have to ask yourself why he would listen to all that, for 20 years, and how those views skew his own thinking. How would he govern moving forward?

Now, for the James Johnson/Fannie Mae/Freddy Mac connections. This has EVERYTHING to do with what is happening now with the economy, and is very important. Obama IS in part responsible for what is happening now. (read my other post) He is part of this problem, takes huge sums of money from them, and appointed Johnson to his VP vetting committee, and opposed a bill that McCain co-sponsored - twice.

If Obama is willing to look the other way, for big campaign contributions, and be part of the problem, that caused the biggest financial crisis since 1929, then you have to ask yourself what he would do as POTUS. And you have to see the relevancy in WHY his friends and associations and actions MATTER.

So, you see, it DOES matter who his friends and associates are. What do they say, Past is Prologue. Obama’s resume is very, very thin. All we have available to assess who he is is by looking at his past actions, and his friends. And it matters who has influenced him. It matters who has helped to shape his outlook and his thinking. Wright used to be referred to as his *spiritual mentor*. Like I said in my previous post - all of those people do not a coincidence make. It is a pattern.

And despite what Obama and his supporters try to tell you, it does matter. And people do care. *Show me your friends, and I’ll tell you who you are.*

It is about judgment.

More predictions by me.

Tomorrow after Mr. Bush addresses the nation at 10 a.m. we will have Obama call for a press conference at 11:30 to impersonate a pseudo president and object to whatever the President said. To critique the President and call him erratic. The markets that ware going up will level out instantly and begin to drop.

Tomorrow during his next stump speech Obama will mock and deride whatever the President said that morning, and then bla bla bla bla and propose the same thing in a few different words. The markets that were going up again will drop badly and will begin in a down note the next day.

Bush and Obama are on the same team. Think about it. Obama supported the Oil bill and FISA. FISA was our last chance to hold W responsible for his administration’s crimes. The market is tanking because the PLUNGE PROTECTION TEAM is not working for the American People. McCain better take the gloves off now or we will be in store for 4 more years of shock and awe.

Comment by KathyNeocon | 2008-10-09 19:49:27

That is so ridiculous. Obama has one of the most liberal voting records in the Senate. He’s nothing like George Bush.

Comment by Luis | 2008-10-09 19:53:09

Then why does the MSM treat him with the same kid gloves? They protect him with editing just like W…think about it…What about OIL and FISA…

Comment by Jules | 2008-10-09 20:03:41

I don’t think the MSM has treated Bush with kid gloves. They have absolutely massacred him and made him a laughing stock.

Comment by tek | 2008-10-09 20:58:55

The press loved Bush until the Democratic primaries began. Now, it’s all Obama the way it used to be all Bush. Pay attention, people. Just say no to Kool-Aid whether it’s Red or Blue.

Comment by Jules | 2008-10-09 21:08:11

I haven’t had any Kool-Aid of any color. I’m not a Bush fan. I am simply not blind to the fact that the MSM has humiliated Bush any way possible. He was an easy target to be sure…but they’ve utterly destroyed him. The only reason I care is that I think any sitting U.S. president deserves a little bit of general respect.

I find it interesting that when I try to make an observation about Bush that is not filled with utter condemnation, that I am accused of being a Kool-Aid drinker. I think you’ve had a taste yourself.

I think they are afraid of him. Last night I was doing some searches on Obama and Rezko and I discovered that many reporters that wrote negative things about Obama were attacked by his campaign.

The reporters personal life and anything they had ever said controversial was attacked. I also believe they are afraid of being called racists.

2. What these CEOs do not realize about McCain is that even though McCain is not an exiting engineer of progressive solutions, Mrs. Sarah Palin is one heck of an engineer and creative power. She will get our economy humming like a BMW in less than four years. Go Sarah.

Obama needs to shut up and stop talking about the stock market. He is scaring the market. Likewise when he was talking about BIG OIL, the price of oil kept goign up. As soon as Obama stop talkign about oil and start talkign about more drilling, the price of oil went down. Anyone notice that as soon as the polls had Obama over 50%, the stock market plunge to new lows. WHen the race was almost tie, the stock market was doing fine. It seems whenever the MSM show polls of Obama winning, the stock market dips.

I think many people are taking their money out of the market because they know an Obama presidency means higher capital gains. The market is fearful of an Obama presidency with a democrat control congress. The stock market will do better when John McCain poll ratings get better.

Whenever there is a republican control congress the stock market does well. WHenever there is a democratic control congress the stock market tanks. Even if the president is democrat and the congress is republican control, the stock market does well. I think investors are taking their money out of the market because they know Obama will increase the capital gains tax. The fear of a democrat president and demcorat congress is scaring investors. Ever since the DEMS took over congress in 2006, the stock marke thas been up and down.

Are you better off than you were 2 years ago? It’s the CAPITAL GAINS STUPID!!!!!!!!

Comment by suzanne | 2008-10-09 21:28:10

oh please….obama alone has that much clout that whatever he talks about affects the stock market??? Get real - the economic mess we are in is the fault of everyone in congress as well as the financial institutions that have failed-and George Bush is the president now so he should and will get the brunt of it.

Comment by cathnealon | 2008-10-09 19:04:24

Remember Paulsen as former head of Goldman Sachs is buddy buddy with BO. BO was on the “phone with him sometimes 2 or 3 times a day during the bailout crisis for 2 weeks.” Why now for the bailout? Why now for the scare tactics? Another 2 months until after the election wouldn’t have made one bit of difference. The market’s being manipulated to create panic and fear–sure, all the corruption is there but it’s been there for years. The American people are once again being scammed and the media, no longer an independent free press, now owned by monopolistic corporate powers, has taken over to push their agenda. The Iraq war for their Halliburton buddies and now BO as a front man for the takeover of the government to centralize power and schmooze with Chavez, the Castro brothers, Putin and other dictators. Welcome to the postmodern coup except that the Repubs will never let it happen.

Comment by lark | 2008-10-09 19:18:21

You are 100 percent correct that the connection between Paulsen and Obama is one that needs to be entered into our brains equations. I admit I have not consider it one bit.

You are probably right also that through manipulation of the markets the American people are being taken advantage off and moved toward socialism as a gateway to the next stage in global market domination by the CEOs of the largest companies.

Comment by Docelder | 2008-10-09 19:18:46

It is a manufactured crisis. This needs to be looked upon as a sort of domestic terrorism against our economic system. The voter registration fraud needs to be looked at as a sort of domestic terrorism against our electoral system. Don’t lose sight of the point of all this. The end goal is to create crisis, fear and uncertainty about our country’s financial security, and by undermining our election process itself… to perpetuate fear that our entire government is unstable. Who would do this and why? I urge you to read about “Saul Alinsky” and his book “Rules for Radicals” also Google “Cloward Priven strategy” as proposed by who else but a couple of Columbia professors. This is a well orchestrated scheme to demoralize the citizenry and to impose… no to have the population of the U.S. welcome a socialist government. This is the single greatest threat to our nation and our freedoms we have faced since winning our independence.

Comment by BettsAZ | 2008-10-09 20:54:46

Fascists have always risen to control when there is a crisis…I also thought that this(economic crisis)was contrived by(mostly)Democrats…so they can push their Marxist puppet into the White House.

Unpopular Republican President

PERFECT STORM

I still believe that America will vote McCain/Palin.
The polls are always skewed to benefit the Dems.

Comment by Docelder | 2008-10-09 21:19:10

We should not underestimate the influence the media has upon the populace and the complicity they have demonstrated in this scheme. When we prevail in this attack on our freedoms… and I am still optimistic… we need to safeguard against future abuses of the traditional mainstream media when used as a psychological instrument against us. As it is, were it not for the Internet media… we would have already lost for all practical purposes.

Comment by JozefAL | 2008-10-09 20:12:40

Jangles, here’s a dose of reality: For 6 of Clinton’s 8 years as President, the Congress (BOTH houses) were firmly under GOP control.
Unlike Clinton, however, a Democratic-controlled Congress under an Obama Presidency doesn’t seem too likely to fight their President. (Congressional Dems during Clinton’s first 2 years were largely less supportive than Congressional GOPers. It was, after all, DEMOCRATIC Sen Sam Nunn who fought most ardently against Clinton’s desire to allow gay men and lesbians to serve openly and honestly. And, many congressional Dems stood right by their GOP colleagues to back DOMA.)

another excellent post Sara….thank you

I agree…Americans do care about who Obama has been associating with. And they will show that concern on November 4th. I truly believe that John McCain will be the next President of the United States and Sarah Palin will be our first Woman Vice President.

I think now that there is solid proof that Obama is directly associated with Acorn, given them money, helped train their workers and they are trying to steal the election, that there should be a full blown investigation and ALL ACORN REGISTRATIONS DISQUALIFIED-PERIOD.

I haven’t heard a peep out of Bill or Hillary Clinton about this. Are they going to speak out?? If they did, I think it would persuade some people to vote for McCain and Palin.

Lou Dobbs tonight was ROYALLY PISSED OFF ABOUT THIS TONIGHT.

Especially given the fact that these were the same tactics that Obama bin Biden used to cheat her out of the nomination. How can Bill and Hillary still do anything to this rat’s advantage?! I think it may be time for them to denounce him.

Americans DO care but the problem is that most of them are already too far gone to get the point. ya think they are gonna care about ACORN and them rigging elections, most of them are fine with that as long as Obama gets elected, one person voting 50 times for Obama, sure why not. I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared as a citizen of this great county as I am right now. What the hell has happened to us, how can people be so retarded, where the heck is the October Surprise to FINALLY bring this LIAR down. I am so sick of his lying face, I could go debate him and kick his ass and I don’t need to prepare for the debate either. Sarah could kick his ass at a debate, I just don’t get what has happened to America, people are being swindled just like the 30’s with Hitler, just like the Cubans with Castro, I never thought that in America we would have another Nazi Germany but that just may happen. I have read rumor about rumor about Obama going down and I have yet to see it, the whitey tape, the audiotape of Obama and Ayers talking about how communism is change, his birth certificate proving he was born in Kenya, COME ON, we are running out of time here

One question I would like the msm to ask both candidates…

Four years from now, will you be blaming others for our financial stability or will you fix it by then?

Because if you can’t fix it, then get out of the way; we can attack each other for so long and I don’t want a socialist style government for my kids. Tell me now, and don’t cry in four years you need more time….

Also, on a side note. soldier4Hillary had a great post/video about a month ago and I never posted on a good job she did.. “Way to go!” She speaks volumes for many…

tonite there were two young men (thuggish) walking around a few blocks away, reeking of pot, going door-to-door — hmmm…first thought: obama campaign obots!

Comment by bethtopaz | 2008-10-09 19:53:03

If two guys like that came up to your door and asked if you were voting for Obama, would you say “yes?”

Comment by shadow | 2008-10-09 19:55:29

I wouldn’t answer the door. LOL

McCain and the Republican Party have to go all in to win. They have nothing to lose because they are behind. Even though polls for Kerry were up over G. Bush at this time in 04 and we know how that came out, we can not take a chance on this election. McCain should use every political brain that helped get Bush 2 elected—if they could elect Bush 2 then they should be able to elect McCain.

There is the possibility that Obama and Biden will begin to look more as buffoons than serious candidates. As these economic news get more difficult and confusing, Obama and Biden will continue their course of offering more and more solutions, alternate scenarios, promises, freak Constitutional rights and act more and more confused by the circumstances.

In that case, his Oct 29 address may not be the smooth opportunity to close the sale as he envisions but one that will show his utter incompetence.

What about that?

Jangles,

The stock was good under Clinton. Remember under President clinton, the congress was republican control. My facts can be proven.

Comment by bethtopaz | 2008-10-09 20:06:31

It’s good to have a balance of power - President - Dem/Republican and Congress - Republican/Dem.

If Obama gets elected, it will be Obama/Pelosi/Reid - the most radically left, incompetent and dangerous trio to ever “govern” over this great country.

Comment by JozefAL | 2008-10-09 20:19:59

Given the fact that Reid is one of those Democrats on the “wrong side” of the abortion topic, I don’t quite think he’s in the “most radically left” corner.

It sure was. As much as the Clinton haters that suffer from CDS try to rewrite history, the fact of the matter is that the economy was good when Clinton was President.

There’s this clip of O’Reilly agreeing that the Clinton years will be remembered as a Golden Age by American historians.
