Or two, or three - kinda hard to keep up with Obama and all of the people he throws under the bus on a daily basis. Whew! The latest one is the Mayor of Detroit, Kwame Kilpatrick, the one who is having some legal trouble in Detroit (a little perjury here, a little assault there…).

He’s a big buddy of Obama’s, and was worried he could not make the Democratic National Convention because of his pesky little ankle bracelet keeping him around home. Oh, but WAIT! He got a judge to “modify” his bond to allow him to go! Yippee for him!! (more…)

So you thought the problem of Barack and Michelle Obamas’ 2005 mansion purchase was dead and buried.

Well, not any more.

A reader of my website who is a tax accountant of many years, one who specializes in criminal matters, says he believes the Obamas have a tax problem.

Simply put, the allocation of purchase price between the Obamas’ lot and the lot next door, which were both owned by the same couple and had long been sold together, makes no sense unless the amount paid for the lot adjoining the Obamas’ by the wife of now convicted political fixer Tony Rezko was specifically meant as a favor to the Obamas so that they could afford their mansion.

If so, the difference between what Ms. Rezko paid for the side lot and what it was actually worth would be construed by the IRS as income to the Obamas.

In his own words, the historic candidacy of Senator Obama can be traced all the way back to Selma, Alabama. A place Senator Obama states in his speech in 2007 he owes his very existence to. His passionate speech before a congregation at Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church tells the story of how the protests in Selma played a part in him being able to stand before them that day.

The riveting story of how JFK played a part in his father having the chance to be one of the young Africans who were brought to this country and given scholarships to study so they could learn what a wonderful country this is, was poignant and beautiful. He described how the events and his very existence came about as reflected in this passage of his speech:

“This young man named Barack Obama got one of those tickets and came over to this country. He met this woman whose great-great-great-great grandfather had owned slaves. But she had a good idea there was some craziness going on because they looked at each other and they decided that we know that in the world as it had been, it might not be possible for us to get together and have a child.”

A group of House Republicans charged today that Gov. Michael S. Dukakis, the Democratic Presidential nominee, had appointed three ”anti-Israeli, pro-Palestinian” members to the party’s ruling body and challenged him to dismiss them.Representative Norman F. Lent, Republican of Nassau, said the three members were appointed to the 400-member Democratic National Committee after the party’s convention last July in Atlanta as a gesture of conciliation to the Rev. Jesse Jackson, the defeated Presidential contender.Mr. Lent identified the three as the Rev. Willie Barrow, executive director of Mr. Jackson’s Chicago-based Operation PUSH; Robert Farrell, a Los Angeles City Councilman and close Jackson associate, and Ruth Ann Skaff of Houston, whom he said was a spokeswoman for the pro-Palestinian Ad Hoc Committtee on Lebanon.Mr. Lent said that Mrs. Barrow and Mr. Farrell were supporters of the Rev. Louis Farrakhan, a radical Muslim leader who has made anti-Semitic statements. He said Ms. Skaff had led anti-Israel demonstrations. 

Barrow’s fondness for Farrakhan — a man who describes Jews as Satanic — is best summoned up in this quote:

Mrs. Barrow was quoted in a 1985 article in The Washington Post as saying, ”I love my brother, Minister Louis Farrakhan. The devil don’t like it, Chicago don’t like it, the world don’t like it, but we love it.” 

Not only does Barrow love Farrakhan, he returns the love to Barrow:

And Farrakhan has loved Willie Barrow back, affectionately quoting her in his sermons. During the recent NOI scandal Willie Barrow served as the chair of the Commission on Discrimination and Hate Crimes. When the Nation of Islam Minister of Protocol Claudette Marie Muhammad joined the commission, its Jewish members resigned after Muhammad invited other commissioners to a speech by Farrakhan filled with anti-semitic invective. Barrow, however true to her ties with the Nation of Islam, continued to defend Muhammad and condemn the commissioners who resigned. 

It’s now beyond doubt that Obama has surrounded himself with the leaders of the America-hating neo-left movement, a twisted form of “liberalism” which embraces and promotes anti-white and anti-Semitic rhetoric, fomenting resentment and demanding payback . Is America willing to accept and can it endure the moral relativism which Obama would bring to the White House? What would be the cost?

So, Obama is really, really successful at reading a teleprompter, and delivering someone else’s words. A puppet, you might say. 

Then we learned that Obama was regurgitating words originally given by his friend Patrick Deval. Not once, but many times. 

And we not only learned about *borrowed* speeches but also borrowed phrases. 

“Sí Se Puede” or “yes we can” is from the United Farm Workers. 

 “Together we can” was the campaign slogan of Deval Patrick in 2006

“Fired Up! Ready to Go!” is from the NAACP in South Carolina, used by Jondelle Harris Johnson in the Civil Rights marches. 

“We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” is a Hopi Indian saying, used by Alice Walker as the title of her book.

But now we learn that not only is Obama a puppet when it comes to giving speeches, but his foreign policy isn’t his either. I knew he had very little foreign policy experience, if any, but doesn’t he have to do anything?? A cast of 300 prepare him daily? Who are these people that are affecting our foreign policy? Shouldn’t they be running for office, or at least vetted, since they are doing all the work?

And the favors poured in.

First, the Obamas got help from Tony Rezko, who was currently under investigation for the corruption he’s in jail for now. Tony’s wife Rita bought the adjoining lot, a portion of which was sold back to the Obamas at a discount later. Sweet!

But now it’s discovered that the Obamas also got a discount on their loan for the mansion, saving $300 per month on a Super Super Jumbo Mortgage, according to a July 2 Washington Post report. (more…)

Not only is he attempting to con Evangelicals, but he has made The Big Step. Yes, that’s right. Barack Obama says he is going to continue George Bush’s Faith Based programs. I have no doubt that he means it. He plans to provide money to anybody who worships the Highest Of High Lords: Himself. Most of it will go to Reverend Wright though. That new mansion is already too small for his big head. He wants to rebuild. What’s left of the grant will go to his Faith-Based Goddamn AmeriKKKa program. Here, I envision Reverend Wright being in full charge of the Goddamned Faith Based Initiative. I envision this much in the same way as I envision a pardoned Tony Rezko taking charge of HUD and Bill Ayers in charge of the Department of Education.

I find it interesting that Obama would applaud George Bush’s unwillingness to separate church from state, but I do not find it shocking. As time moves on, we are seeing that Comrade Obama bears a striking resemblence to George. In fact, I would go so far as to say that Obama is the Democratic Party’s George Bush Redux.

He’s inept just like George Bush. He lies to get what he wants, just like George Bush. He’s arrogant, just like George Bush. He disinfranchises entire blocks of Americans, just like George Bush. He uses people, just like George Bush. He’s arrogant, just like George Bush. He refuses to be vetted, just like George Bush. He gets his sycophants to attack people, just like George Bush. He rigs things, just like George Bush. He’s a thug, just like George Bush. He’s impressed with himself, just like George Bush. He cheats, just like George Bush. He has unsavory friends, just like George Bush. And he has a middle east conflict, just like George Bush.

And now, we are watching Barack Obama refuse to separate Church from State, just like George Bush.

There are a few differences though. At least George Bush can make up his mind what he believes, even if it’s the wrong thing.

I know you might find this hard to believe, but I think what Comrade Obama is doing is fun to watch. For one thing, it’s an absolute blast to watch HuffPo, DKos and Moveon have minor strokes watching Barky shove it up their noses. It really is fun to watch them come to the realization that Comrade Obama was using the whole boatload of them. First it was FISA and now the…..gasp…..evangelicals. I bet they all feel Hoodwinked. Bamboozled. Led Astray.

God, I love poetic justice, don’t you?

SusanUnPC in a 12 MARCH 2008 essay reproduced a map of 11 Rezko tenements in Barack Obama’s former state Senate district.  The map originally appeared in the Chicago Sun-Times. 

She cites the testimony of two residents of Rezko’s slums, and she notes how many of Rezko’s properties in Obama’s former state Senate district were either foreclosed, condemned or both.  Because so many of Rezko’s dilapidated public housing structures are located in Obama’s former state Senate district, the Chicago news corps asked the aspiring Presidential candidate if he was aware of the squalor plaguing Rezko’s slum empire.  Here is Obama’s response:

Still, he said it was “possible” that during his tenure in the legislature that a constituent may have written or called his office “saying, ‘We’re in a building, and we’re unhappy with the service here.’”              

 Such problems, he said, would normally be brought to the attention of an alderman or the city’s Housing Department. “Had I known that there were buildings that were in deteriorating or poor condition, that certainly would have given me pause. But I didn’t” know, Obama said.

Obama, in other words, equivocated:  ”it is possible” he was aware of the financial and legal woes of Rezko’s slum landlord enterprise.  But how do we square this statement with the following excerpts culled from the Boston Globe’s investigative report on Obama’s political and financial ties to major donors who made concerted efforts to defraud the Chicago public housing system?  I quote at length:

If Antoin “Tony” Rezko is Barack Obama’s slumlord patron from Chicago’s South Side, Cecil Butler is Rezko’s West Side counterpart.  I quote:

Campaign finance records show that six prominent developers - including Jarrett, Davis, and Rezko - collectively contributed more than $175,000 to Obama’s campaigns over the last decade and raised hundreds of thousands more from other donors. Rezko alone raised at least $200,000, by Obama’s own accounting.

One of those contributors, Cecil Butler, controlled Lawndale Restoration, the largest subsidized complex in Chicago, which was seized by the government in 2006 after city inspectors found more than 1,800 code violations.

Similar to Rezko, Cecil Butler is a developer who profited from the privatization of low income, public housing in Chicago during the 1990s.   Butler is also not coincidentally a major supporter of Barack Obama whose low income tenements were ultimately seized by the government for multiple building code violations.

According to today’s edition of the Chicago Sun-Times, “Barack Obama’s name could have been invoked more at the corruption trial of his former fund-raiser Tony Rezko.”  But prosecutors instead chose to focus on the first target of Fitzgerald’s probe: convicted slumlord and notorious Chicago political fixer Antoin “Tony” Rezko, the man who helped Obama purchase his Kenwood mansion in 2005. 

The prosecutors’ decision to refrain from discussing Obama’s deep imbrication in the Rezko scandal during the trial does not exonerate the Senator from Illinois, however.  I quote US Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, who issued the following admonition in the wake of Rezko’s conviction:

 U.S. Attorney Patrick J. Fitzgerald said the verdict represented “an antidote to the poison of corruption” that trial testimony alleged included the fixing of state boards that controlled a $40 billion pension fund and made major decisions about million-dollar hospital construction. He expressed hope it would have an effect on Illinois politicians. “If morals don’t get to them, I hope the fear of going to jail does,” Fitzgerald told reporters.             

 Fitzgerald and the prosecutors are particularly concerned with Obama’s acceptance of “straw” campaign contributions others made on Rezko’s behalf.  I quote the Sun-Times:
