Speaking for me only…
Oh, yes, Campbell Brown calls Gov. Rendell to task for his sexist comments about Gov. Napolitano. No doubt about it, what he said was sexist. Honestly, and sadly, it was one of the milder examples we have seen this year. Here is Campbell Brown, and Gov. Rendell:

Right now, many people believe that they will not see a woman elected president of this country in their lifetimes. The estimable Marie Cocco sums the situation up once again. One of my favorite blog writers, Ani, gives us her [...]

At a Presidential Election Analysis forum at Smithsonian Associates, Howard Dean finally found some grit and an earnest attitude on the “untold story” of sexism in this presidential campaign. [H/T cameoanne at Partizane.com for offering up this video in her great post, Too Little, Too Late.] And she sure got the title right.
Now [...]

No.
Hey, if you don’t like the answer, folks, it’s time for a little soul searching.
In her article, The Glass Ceiling Holds Strong, the always en pointe WaPo writer Marie Cocco tells us:
It is time to stop kidding ourselves. This wasn’t a breakthrough year for American women in politics. It was a brutal one.
The glass [...]

“HATE” is the ugliest four letter word. We have seen way too much of it displayed during the last 18 months.
I’m not talking about criticizing candidates on their policies, actions, decisions, or experience, so long as the content isn’t made up of whole cloth. Lively debate is not always polite.
I’m talking [...]

According to the Boston Globe:
MIAMI - With Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska in their midst, the nation’s leading Republican governors used their annual conference to unleash some of their most furious criticism yet about the failed campaign she waged alongside presidential nominee John McCain.
“The main economic argument McCain made during this campaign was earmarks,” Governor [...]

There is no other explanation for the obsession with Sarah Palin, who has lost an election and returned to Alaska: Someone wants to keep the public busy so they don’t notice what else is going on.
Two things come to mind here.
One: What is it that Obama and the [...]

Here at No Quarter, we spend a lot of time discussing the shortcomings (and there are so many) of the so-called Main Stream Media. While I hate to give Rush Limbaugh a whole lot of credit for anything, he refers to them as the “Drive by Media” and it certainly is an [...]

In light of the recent acid attack on school girls in Afghanistan, and the persistent sexist attacks against Governor Palin, this seems the perfect time to re-print the following:
Last night, I was reading Curve Magazine (Vol.18,#6, July/August, 2008). In it was an article by noted Lesbian activist and writer, Victoria A. Brownworth, “Why Do They [...]

Shame on you. You can’t stand up for a woman who has done nothing but take all this trash-talking with complete class and 100% loyalty to you? Screw you, John McCain.
I kind of pushed aside some of the nasty stories about how you talk to your wife, to whom you owe ($$$) [...]
